Avis Rental car is beneficial for all residents of Emirates.I havent used but family members have experience this rental.

Very bad customer experience.. the car was not the car we have requested and they refused to change it to us .. we canceled our booking and they even didn’t agree in refund .. I don’t recommend it to anyone

Cheater! That there is such a thing in Dubai is a shame!Ive been waiting for my bail for more than 3 months. They answer and no emails and dont send my deposit back. BOYKOTT AVIS!

Avis rent a car my Dubai stay more beautiful. Price wise bit higher. I was almost out of budget for this trip... Overall had enjoyment and fun roaming most beautiful places in Dubai

Bad experience, no customer service, you can call them the non helpers, too much delay, too bad treatment, if you want to get lost rent a car from avis, never tell any body to rent from this company!!!!

Absolutely horrendous experience. After almost a two hour delay in receiving the car, I received it in a very bad state. Carpets were filthy! and full of stains as you can see from the picture. After returning it, I was charges with AED 36.60 for 1 Salik CROSSING!!! when I ask their call centre for a breakdown, they tell me they do not have the information!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

An avis rent a car guy was so nice i gave him a tip💸 for that 😉 i was lost in the airport but he guided me and gave a good information about Dubai airport. Where to eat, restrooms, flight details in the monitor. He really went with me to the food hall and made sure i get rest and eat. What an incredible guy. Nice customer service indeed.

Very helpful and convenient. Any visitors be aware of the traffic speeds on the roads you travel because the cameras are very effective, and the tickets very expensive. I got 3 tickets in my first 45 minutes. If you get enough tickets your driving privileges can actually be revoked during your stay.

Best airport in the world... new clean all stuff are friendly and helpful. One of his best advantages that I cant find in most of airports is the security.

Very bad service , i book the car before 2 week of trip & it was confirme , when i came to counter i wait 1 hours becuase only one pirson on office , i give him confirmation no. & his said there is no car available !! the offer me small car or wait untill tommorow ! i wait until next day but also the car not arrived & thecsaid it will not be available & need to cancel !!!!! don,t rent car from this company !

DON’T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! when I returned the car the guy tried his best to find anything in the car , finally he say you smoked in the car ! It’s funny because I don’t smoke !! Also the car was 2016 !

The rental experience with Avis was great. The staff was courteous.

We got a down grate. Gave us a much worse and cheaper car. Told us we would get money back. But they never did. No sorry or what so ever. Terrible service. Stay away.

Worst experience.. even though i had paid online through car rental application, they didn’t accept that and forced me to go for extra charges claiming that i am using a debit card not credit card.. what it even worse is that they said you shall go for full insurance which is more than the daily rental rate that i paid for.. enough!! No, the have charged me AED 2,000 as a deposit promising to return it within 45 days from the drop off date.. it is been 60 days so far with multiple reminder emails with no response..the moral of the story, never rent from AVIS in Dubai

Avoid this company, bad service, they trick you to buy expensive insurance. Their cars are Abu Dhabi plates which need special registration to pay online and if you are visitor I dont think you can do it. Simply I dont think they care about customer experience or satisfaction

This was the worst experience of my life while renting a car. I booked online with my Credit card and at Avis the woman (BTW she was very not respectful) told me its a debit card. I called my bank they told her that its a credit card and its also writted on the card but she didnt want to give us the car with the credit policy. She was yelling that its a debit card. I asked her to call her manager and she didnt want. I spent 2 hours at 3am to try to explain her that its a credit card but she didnt want to understand and to call her manager.Im really disapointed because I already used this company in France and internationally and Im living in Dubai and its the first time I had this bad experience.I dont recommend at all this rental car company in Dubai!!!!! Its a dishonest company. They are just trying to charge extra insurance and the employee are not friendly and very not respectful with their clients.!!!!

I rented a car for 13 days in February 2020. I pre-booked a small car like the Chevrolet Spark, and I came to receive it - they gave me almost a new Nissan Sunny with a mileage of only 7000 km. There were no problems with the car, in 13 days we traveled all over the Emirates. When they made out the receipt of a car, there was a lack of knowledge of the language, the girl only later turned on the translator on her smartphone and solved all the questions. The money blocked on the card was returned a couple of days after the car was returned, the money was written off only for travel on toll roads. The car was also handed over quickly - the receptionist had no questions, he examined the whole mileage, wrote down the papers, and thats it. In Abu Dhabi, we parked near a cafe, went to eat, while ate we were given a fine for unpaid parking of 200 dirhams. This fine was not withheld from us because it was the last day of the car rental and the fine did not have time to go to the rental company.

SCAM, MISLED !!!!I agree with the last two opinions because we had the same bad experience; We had a nice stay in Dubai in March, the only downside was the car rental if i can say a big rip !! we arrive at 00h approximately, beforehand I was aware of the history of the credit card, so we prepared the card upstream confirming with our bank, once at the reception was the surprise ; the credit card does not pass !!! and the obvious solution was we accept debit cards on condition of paying more (deposit of € 500 for 1.5months, and all risk insurance imposed).Unfortunately this is a dishonest sales technique, they attract you with attractive basic rates on the net, and once there they rob you ..By the way until today I have no news of the deposit!The only good thing was the rented car, because they gave us a car more comfortable than the one booked, since they had no choice (lack of availability).

Far from international avis standards, the staff is uninformed and uninterested. The vehicles are at the base equipment level, the prices are not very affordable. However, the vehicles are delivered new and cleaned very well. They give a parking exit barcode. There are not many luxury segment vehicles. They may have difficulty finding a vehicle even in the tab you have reserved.

Very nice and helpful. Car was ok was automatic as ordered. Unfortunately forgot to order with navigation, the car was not full on pickup. So only three stars.

Rental at Avis, yet in France I recommend but not at Dubai Airport, I arrive in the morning at 4am, problem because of a Debit card and not Credit, the person explains to me that it is possible to still use a Debit card (form to fill out ....) with an advance on the deposit, except that after it forces me to take out insurance which doubles my rental price for my stay, I asked other rental companies who just explain to me that they force me to take unnecessary insurance especially since I have a Gold card which has insurance on the rental, after 1 hour of exchange to get my rental already paid, had to cancel my reservation and take it from Fast (although the google reviews are not very good, I am very satisfied with the service and it works with debit cards). If you have a Credit card it is possible that your Rental will go well but next time I will go to thrifty who has a good reputation but YOU NEED A CREDIT CARD !!!

The airport is five stars in all, but the call on flights can not be heard in the free market, so far as I know it is something new which caused the plane to fly and I shop and when asked I was told that they do not want to disturb shoppers and this happened with many others, please pay attention is the best airport Thanks for trying it out
