The nearest metro station to get here is Al Fahidi Metro station, which is well connected with red and green metro line. The Dubai frame is also close to it.

This is a typical Indian/Pakistani market. Lovely place to shop. Clothes, jewelries, accessories, electrical appliances etc. etc. you will find here local as well as branded stuff. Also you will find some people chasing you to buy first copy of all high end branded stuff, like bags, watches, clothes etc. if you a good bargaining skills than this place is heaven for you. All kind of Sarees & ladies suit, western dresses, bangles and all makeup stuff is easily available. The negative point of this place is parking. You will have to struggle for parking. Few paid parking options are available. Sometimes for that also you have to be in queue. Best way to reach this place is Metro. Nearest metro is Al Fahidi metro station.

The best way to reach Meena bazaar is to go by metro. Get off at Al Fahidi Metro Station and you can walk down to the bazaar,. It is a distance of 500m. One can go by car. It is the best place to buy gifts and souvenir here. One can get them all here in the shops but be prepared to bargain. You can find big jewelry shops also. Shops selling perfumes and mobiles and purses are also found. Toys, wholesale cloth merchants are also available. Eating joints are many. It is frequented by a lot of tourists. Obviously the rates are quite low compared to the ones in the malls.

This is not a shop. Its a place name beside the Al Fahidi Metro Station exit 3. You will find all things in one circle. You need to be aware of people walking around as its crowded. You will see a view of the Abra ar one side. Museum at the other end. Textile and lot of restaurants and small petty shops where the prices are less. You will see 99% of Asian crowd and Asian cuisine. Best Jewellery is also available.

Review №68

Meena bazaar is much hyped than the actual scene. It is just the local market where you can find more of Indian and Pakistani restaurants and shops. Perfumes are all local and you can not trust quality of anything what you are buying from there. Best is to go to Carrefour which is adjacent to Meena bazaar. You can get cheap stuff, but quality is also compromised. Watches, perfumes, toys are main attraction.

One of the most CROWDED areas in all of Dubai. Giving in to its look, it has also been called by many as Old Dubai. The area thrives or what we could call as thrift. U can get most duplicate items with even functions of the original. The price rate in the area way lower than any other area whether it b living cost or lateral expenditure. On Fridays, it is altogether a different scene with the crowd being at its peak. It is the best place if u need anything cheap but that doesnt mean it lacks modern touch. It does towers and mall.

A perfect place to go for a typical Indian style shopping in dubai. Located very close to the metro station the entire bazaar makes for a super shopping centre. The shops range from inexpensive goods to some exotic items. And the shops do test your bargaining skills. Dont forget to try the Jordan dates.

The shopping district for most Indian expats in Dubai. A congested area of a maze of lanes and one of the most difficult places to find parking. The up side are the many restaurants (all kinds of Indian cuisine) some street food (though not exactly on the street) and the numerous shops with all kinds of bargains.

This placeeee. What do I say? Its a paradise for people who love shopping and want to save a lot on the pocket! I would say this is a mini India or Pakistan in Dubai. It is a local market where you will find a lot of shops selling Indian dresses, Pakistani dresses, Bridal wear, everyday clothes, accessories, abayas, dress materials, toys, handbags, electronics, hardware, etc., at a very reasonable price. You can bargain a lot as well(ask for 1/2 of whatever the original price is and you will definitely get a good bargain). There are lots of restaurants as well. So that is a plus. (Shopping and food go so hand in hand :P)I would recommend you spend a full day here. There is also old Dubai museum in this area. So you can start by visiting the museum and then go around shopping. Be ready to do lots of walking :)
