We got a positive covid test result within 24hrs of our flight. What a drama. We called immediately and were told to email our situation and someone would get back to us. It took us 3 weeks of continuous phone calls & emails - an absolute nightmare that wasted hours of our time. By the time we got a new flight, our flight costs went up by thousands. It was just absolutely disgusting. Then we couldnt check in online and couldnt even sit next to each other. Everyone on customer care operators couldnt do one thing to resolve situation. We hope that we wont have to fly with fly dubai again.

We had a very bad experience on Yerevan flight on Tuesday September 14th 8am.1- I initially booked 2 tickets on September 13th flight, but unfortunately we didn’t get the visa as the country changed the rule out of a sudden, it used to be on arrival then they suspended the on arrival option. We just wanted to change it to next day’s flight until we get the visa, I called everyone 2 days befote the flight day, they said u can’t change it.2- However, I booked 2 tickets for me and my wife, and I have no idea how the ground staff decided to give us 2 seats far from each others, F7 and F20 which doesn’t make any sense.When we asked them why they said for the flight balance and u can change it later.When we went on board, I told the crew, they refused to let us change our seats and sit next to each others and they started to yell at me when I tried to change the seat. They said for that you have to pay extra money.3- The flight was almost empty with only 60 people on the plane, however, my wife doesn’t eat eggs and they said that’s the only option as the vegetarian option has finished!!! How come! The plan was almost empty! In conclusion, we couldn’t eat anything.4- Because the plan was empty, it was freezing cold, I asked for a blanket for my wife, she felt so cold, they said it’s not available!5- I had some work to be done and emails to be sent during the flight time, and when I booked the flight they said wifi is available on board, but unexpectedly, the crew said you can’t connect and it’s not working all flight long, because sometimes we are flying over restricted area! Sorry restricted what????! Restricted area from UAE all the way to Armenia!!!!???? WOW!6- Finally, they broke my brand new luggage!I wonder why we paid 1854 AED for such a flight!I will NEVER use Fly Dubai again in my life and I won’t recommend it for anyone!I demand compensation or I will submit an official complaint to Dubai consumer rights.

The worst airline ever. Flydubai refused to onboard me on the flight from Cairo to Uae on 19/8/2021 because of the QRD code in pcr test. I booked on Airarabia and there was nothing wrong with the code. I want my money back in full plus a credit note for wasting 12 hours of my time in the airport. Shame on you, this isn’t how you do ethical business!

The worst airline ever.I booked a ticket for my driver to Colombo but it was cancelled 2 times by flydubai for no reason and I rebooked for the third time but my driver didn’t trust them so I booked for him in SriLankan airline in an earlier date and he travelled and when I’ve requested a refund back to my credit card they deducted a fee plus I couldn’t get the money back to my credit card because they say in the terms and conditions ( which nobody reads ) it was mentioned a voucher refund only either for the driver or for me.And neither of us will travel on flydubai.In this case I lost al the ticket amount.

Our horrible experience with flydubai:The flight crew had highly unacommodating and unwelcoming attitude on flight FZ8503 dtd 14 Aug 2021 to Tbilisi. We were travelling with 3 kids, two of them are infants. I bought a separate seat for one of my infants and paid for it in advance. I also called several times on flydubai helpline (which has the worst wait time for upto 30 mins!) and everytime they insisted that i need to carry a car seat which i need to put for infant on her seat otherwise we would not be allowed to board (Flydubai can check their call recordings). They insisted and forced us to buy special airline car seat which i had to carry with extreme inconvenience to the aircraft through passport control and various checks. When we boarded, the cabin crew kept on insisting on why we brought the damn seat and it shud be in hold. She wasnt even able to recognize that i hv bought a seat for my infant and kept on coming back again and again to prove that we do not have a separate seat - this despite showing her the boarding passes clearly indicating 4 seats allocated to us. She kept arguing and eventually made it sound like its a favor for us to hv my child seat. When boarded, she plainly refused to give me a pillow for the child when i was ready to pay. The worst was when we landed. Because we had 3 kids, we waited for everyone to get off and then prepared ourselves which took around 5 mins. The staff kept glaring at us without offering any help at all and eventually had the audacity to call us out saying “ guys hurry up the cleaners are waiting” to which i snapped saying “give us 5 mins if not helping, cant u see we r with kids and infants?” I am a skywards member and this service was mere pathetic. Was very disappointed. Since i was off to georgia, didnt hv a choice for any other airline.The airline should atleast teach their crew on ths particular flight some simple courtesy and manners and also let them know international airline laws on infant seating and how it is done.We took flydubai back and did not face any problem from the crew on that flight.Also from the experience we learnt that an infant airline approved seat was not a must and we were unnecessarily forced to spend Aed500 on the seat by the booking and helpline of flydubai while onboard crew was not accomodating it.

Absolute sham. Worst airline in history. We had a booking. They cancelled the flight due to no fault of our own. They simply cancelled the route. Then they offered a voucher, not a refund, a voucher only. We contested and plead with them since they don’t fly there any more to refund us. All by email mind you because no one will handle this except by email. The irony is that their email is “letstalk” even though they won’t talk to you. Finally they approved a refund in mid March. Till now the refund is not received. Upon following up they now say that the refund should hit the account by mid July. Supposedly. That’s 4 months from the time they approved the refund till the time we are due to receive it. No self respecting airline would act that way. Shame on them.

Horrible experience. The agents at the customer centre are either misinformed or just lazy to do their job.I had checked-in online and then realised that I did not purchase luggage allowance for the inbound flight (Tbilisi-Dubai). After realising this, I tried to purchase luggage allowance through the app but was unable to do so. I called FlyDubai’s contact centre number in Dubai and after several attempted calls, I finally got through on the third call. After explaining the situation, I was informed that I couldn’t make any changes to my check-in and that I would need to pay for the luggage at the airport at AED 60/kg subject to availability. I even asked if I could be unchecked from the flight and was told that would not be possible which I found quite strange because I had been able to do so on a previous flight with Emirates. When I asked if the FlyDubai office in Tbilisi would be more helpful, I was told that “the office would say the same thing but you can check”. I was informed this by two different customer centre agents at FlyDubai. I wish that I had taken down their names to highlight them in this review but unfortunately I did not.The next day, I went to the FlyDubai office in Tbilisi and after explaining the situation to a staff over there, I was unchecked from my flight and was then able to purchase luggage allowance and then check-in again which was the exact opposite of what I was informed by the two FlyDubai customer service agents.Clearly, the agents at the contact centre have no training or just have no idea about how to uncheck-in passengers from a flight. Instead of being helpful over a phone call, I had to endure a stressful night and was forced cancel my day trip which was already planned and paid in Georgia to physically visit the FlyDubai office in Tbilisi when the issue could have been sorted over a call. What a shame.

I have booked a ticket on 23rd February for my family and myself due to Emergency. Prior to that I have called the Fly Dubai call center and confirmed that thePCR test does not required for my kids (3 and 7 Years). On 23rdwl we were reached to Airport and deniedto fly by the Fly Dubai team. And, no proper response.I have sent a several followup mails to the customer service for the refund. I had the worst system hack by flydubai mobile app when I booked my ticket with them. The flydubai app has taken all my Emirates skywards (60,000 miles) without my authorization during the purchase of the ticket. I’ve sent 3 emails but no one is willing to answer!!Shame on such customer service and mobile application failure!

My parents missed Flydubai flight this morning after they checked in and dropped the baggage. Flight was Dubai to Belgrade, 9:05am, reference number: ATK8KR.They exited the airport and rebooked the flight for tomorrow, but they didnt receive the baggage.I called Flydubai,  they directed me to Airport Baggage Service live chat. Then on the chat they directed me back to Flydubai. Flydubai suggested me to call this number: 042245555, but the automated voice on the number is directing me to Airport Services live chat again.Customer service representative on the live chat assured me again that I must contact Flydubai since the baggage was already checked in and very likely departed from Dubai or it is with Flydubai. They were unable to find it in their system, and again assured me Airline company must assist me.I called Flydubai again, they assured me they cant assist and provided me different number to call:600570006, however the call feedback back was absolutely the same - the person explained and assured me the info is with Flydubai and they are unable to further assist.I called Flydubai for the 4th time and explained the issue. Staff raised the complaint and promised to call me back. When he finally called, he said again he cant help and finally provided me baggage services email address. I sent an email and finally received the response where is my baggage - it was with Flydubai.This was absolutely terrible experience. It is unbelievable that Contact Centre is absolutely unable to support or at least to redirect to someone who can help. Spent half my day just because staff doesnt know internal procedures and roles ofthe differentdepartments! Ridiculous!

During the pandemic, they have not dealt with customers professionally. Their website shows a tentative schedule with no permission for landing at destination airport in place. If you book and the flight does not take off, they give you a refund voucher with no definite date for resumption of service. The voucher is also difficult for people to use especially the ones who will leave the country as a result of the pandemic and consequent job loss .

One of my friends, he is an electrician in Dubai booked a ticket for this morning(19th sep 2020) to Chennai, Tamilanadu from Dubai. He did covid test yesterday from Al Ahli football club, Al qusais and received a sticker of Fit to travel from DHA on his passport. He did these all by the instruction of a travel agent. But unfortunately once he reached to board the flight this morning Fly Dubai officers didnt allow him to board the flight by saying they need Covid negative test report as printed. He lost his 650 dhs ticket due to miss communication of Flydubai staff. Once travel agent contacted Flydubai office they said DHA fit to travel sticker is enough to fly, they dont know why their staff didnt allow him to board. he is a labour who earns 1000 dhs per month. Please refund his money or allow him to change the date. He is travelling because his mother has a medical emergency.

Flydubai canceled my flight less than 48 hrs prior to boarding . I was told to either book another flight or refund. I tried doing both, starting with rebooking then refunding. Both didn’t work on app nor website. Called 3 times, emailed 4 times. After long waiting time on phone, I was told to just reply by email and ask for refund and everything will be fine. 4 weeks later, no reply no refund and no one had the decency to contact me. Excellent Support from FlyDubai Call Center person called Julien today. Usually FlyDubais Call Center is one of the worst in customer support however this one individual is proving this wrong. Ridiculously terrible flight, terrible service and highly unhygienic. Six times I travelled with them, six infections. I really can’t believe they ever clean the flight.Besides the hygiene, the onboard staff usually seems rather ill-mannered. On the last 3 flights I travelled with them, the onboard entertainment systems were non-functional, twice on the extra-leg room seats. We purchased Food onboard the flight which they delivered to us opened and eaten from, disgusting!I have been flying all over the world for the last 25 years, I have never heard/ felt an aircraft make such terrible sounds. It was as if it was crying for some maintenience or some down time.Three months ago, we paid for my sister-in-law’s extra leg room seat, which they sold to someone else, and as of one week ago they require another 6 weeks to refund us.I have experienced better running shuttle services in the third world!

WORST AIRLINE SERVICE EVER!!! Honestly I think the 1 star is being too kind. Local bus services in Dhaka run more efficiently than FlyDubai in Dhaka. For a 10 pm flight we got to the the counter at 7:45 pm. The counter was not even opened before 8:15 (yes thats right we waited 30 mins for the counter to open). After the counter opened the associates could not figure out how to work the computers to be able to check in passengers. We were the first people in line, traveling with an infant - we have been waiting for a full hour and a half and we are still waiting to be checked in. Imagine for a 10 pm flight the associates have not even managed to check in the first people on line till 45 mins before the flight. The people behind the counter are rude and highly in incompetent and the customer service individual looks like she is doing the world a favor by sitting on her chair and swinging her legs without even attempting to help people. Highly appalling - will NEVER fly again and will spread the word.
