Since we were looking for a change from the hotel food, we went to Kahloun by cab on the recommendation of the hotel staff. The restaurant has a smoking (shisha) and a non-smoking area. Since we couldnt decide, the manager personally gave us a little bit of everything. Menu has a big selection and a good mix of Lebanese and Syrian food.So we had all kinds of delicacies: from grill plate to vegetarian side dish. After the meal we had Arabic dessert and tea. The food was top and the service very friendly and fast. All in all very good value for money- we will definitely come back again!

Indoors restaurant with fliesA 3-month old Syrian restaurant with a Lebanese name but needs lots of improvements. The decor is beautiful, well air conditioned but the food is average.Went w family for Arabic breakfast, ordered Muhammara w kashkaval (very good), Zaatar mankoosheh (medium, cut into triangles), falafel (8 pieces with dipping sauce of mostly yogurt w little tahini, and a huge boat shaped Akashi cheese makoosheh. The cheese one was ordered with one egg mixed in with the cheese-parsley for texture and taste, but was brought with loose egg white on top, the yolk threads on top, with little parsley, hardly appetizing. I asked it be grilled on top to cook the white but was returned 5 min later unchanged (still running white). Feeling insulted, we canceled that order and replaced with another order of falafel (done to our liking).Unless the food improves and the flies ridden of, not returning and recommending it

Very good stylish decoration. Comfy seats. It has variety of choice of food, drink and shisha. The prices are to the high side but with equivalency to the other competing restaurants in the near area.

We went for lunch and had an amazing experience of good service & great food. The portions are more than big! The taste of the food was fabulous. Really value for money!!

I wish there was a 0 start option. The good reviews must be from the owner or staff. The service is super slow. The food is gross. We literally waited 40mins for a bottle of water. 30 mins for lemonade, and let’s not talk about the burnt sandwich. The bill took forever. I’ve never experience such a bad service. Please do yourself a favour and stay at home. You will enjoy your home more. We are all so angry, people around us were getting annoyed at the bad service.

HiBe extremely careful about the servant with tie, white shirt somewhat bald in the restaurant. He played naive he brought one extra dish to the table and brought the bill with charges for even another extra dish. He ask all of us to pay cash only and later we realized that he charged us one additional dish even more than the extra dish. When I returned to the guy, he pretented that a young worker made that mistake and shouted at him. However when he saw me back he already knew what was wrong.I had a strong feeling that he printed different records with lower price for the restaurant document and he manipulated the reciept to take some for himself. Anyway we paid 305 AED while the fair bill was 225. I am lucky I could get 50 AED back at least. I would not let him be a cashier there.Food was good though.

Never had such a bad experience!!! Food was late 2.5 hours, the tabboule wasnt closed and spilled in the bag, beside the food being that late it was also missing the hunmus. Well with the taouk arriving it was too salty and tasteless. I have no idea what happened to sarroja it was good!

Came there to eat with family. People were smoking, so we requested to slide the glass doors, they say it cannot be done. Well ok, there were fire detectors. Ordered salad, came after the main course and that too the wrong one. The food wasnt the best, just average. Horrible service to the customers. Will never visit again.

Very warm welcoming. Atmosphere is really nice for gathering as well for business. I liked the food and shisha . I came to this place after being dedicated for years to another resturant at the same mall, and to be honest I became more loyal to Kahloun.
