Amazing food and our server Nadia was super friendly and helpful. The service was amazing. The food was amazing. Must have been the most authentic one I had outside of Thailand for a very long time.

Lovely restaurant with the right ambiance for an evening meal. The food choices are wide enough to.be suitably varied without being overwhelming. Linette our server was knowledgeable, polite and very friendly.I would definitely recommend and will come again.

The food was excellent as well as the atmosphere and design, definitely the most important aspects of a restaurant. However, my experience was soured when I showed up at the practically empty restaurant and was told there were no tables available. I called and made a reservation for 8 pm at 7:58 pm and, shockingly, there happened to be an opening. The hostess seemed flustered and said she hadnt seen our reservation (we hadnt had one) and we were seated immediately. During the dinner, I got 2 calls and a text informing me that my reservation would be cancelled since I hadnt arrived (the hostess neglected to have marked me as arrived on the reservation I had arranged 2 minutes earlier). As things picked up service slowed and it took 10 - 15 minutes to get a beer I ordered and about as long to get the check.

Food was very average, for the price paid there are far better thai restaurants in Dubai. However, the ambience is great, the staff are very friendly and the cocktails are nice but would not recommend for food especially not the tom yum. It was sweet, milky and too crowded with other ingredients the complete opposite of what a good tom yum should be.

Tong Thai is an fantastic restaurant with incredible food and an amazing staff!I went there with friends and we ordered Som Tum, Kung Home Pha, Tom Kha Gai, Tom Yum Goon, Gai Phad Ka-Prow and Talay Pad Nam Prik Poa. Every single dish was excellent!Speaking of excellent, Sunny and Nicky were amazing!! Their service was top-notch and we could not have been happier or better taken care of. They were amazing!The decor makes you feel like you have been transported to Bangkok for dinner. Very authentic, warm and inviting without looking like it was overdone.We all had a great dinner and will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor, if you like Thai food and are in Dubai, you cannot pass by Tong Thai without stopping!!

One of the good Thai restaurants in Dubai (there are so many!) liked the delicate flavors without being too hot, especially the red curry. The ambience is great and the staff take good care of the kids preferences too. Will certainly go back because Thai is our favorite cuisine, after Indian of course 😊😉

Used to be fantastic experience before Covid, not anymore it seems. Receiving was still great, server was missing that Thai curtsey, it almost felt like hostel matron serving us. Food was also mediocre.. with curry not being that rich anymore/ kind of watered down. Veg Momos were dry and borderline stale. Didnt have the heart to try desert. They have discontinued my favorite desert anyway. Will have to search a new Thai restaurant.. 😐

Authentic original thai cuisine. Can only recommend it. A restaurant with thai server. Really nice service mit thai smile and hospitality. It has a bar wich you are allowed to smoke and some privat tables if you want to be alone with your guests. I enjoyed every meal. It felt like in thailand.

Best experience on my birthday celebration today. The staff were warm and friendly. Very attentive to our need. They have decorated my reserved dinning table. We were received and being welcomed with two glass of white wine cocktail drinks. At the end of my dinner, they have complimented us a very delicious chocolate Moisè birthday cake. And finished my day with their personalized birthday card with all their staff greetings written inside the card. It really made my birthday very meaningful and wonderful.

This is some good Thai food. The staff was supportive and kind. Very tentative to our needs.Tong Thai makes you feel as if your in Thailand and has great ambience. There are less tables being more spaced out due to Covid so youll have to reserve if you intend on dining here in the later part of the evening.Highly recommend checking this place out. So many photo opportunities to add to your dining memories.

Wonderful instaworthy restaurant tucked away in the flagship Marriott here in Dubai. Ambiance, service and food are all top notch and highly recommended for Thai food with dishes for all diets.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Dubai no doubt. I have been going to this place for couple of years now and I haven’t seen any better Thai food than this one considering that I’m a Thai food lover and constantly search for great Thai food in town. The interior of the place is so romantic with the special lighting they have used. The entrance of the restaurant gives the impression that you are about to entre a Thai palace which complements the experience as a whole. Staff are super polite and patient and very flexible. I had my birthday there once and they brought me a nice complementary slice of a cake. Still my favorite Thai place ....

Waitresses must be taught how to handle with clients if complaints are raised about the Food or Drinks. We had an issue with one of the wines we ordered and when we brought it to their notice, arrogant replies were given. Food is good but be very careful about ordering wine by glass as they may not be the best.

Great Thai food. Authentic taste and truly spicy flavors.I recommend the Tom Yum soup - enough to share for 2.I also really enjoyed the Thai green curry with chicken.Update: went back again to this place and the quality remains intact. Highly recommended if you’re in the area. Good service and tasty food.

Wonderful Thai restaurant in JW Marriott. The food is amazing and the service will make you feel special. The floor to ceiling windows add a certain charm to make any romantic night special. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Thai food.

We had a business dinner here. Very well done set menu. The salads were good. The pomelo salad especially. The prawn spring rolls were crunchy without being oily. The soup was a delight, creamy but slightly spicy too. Among the main courses the sea bass was outstanding. The tenderloin was soft and juicy. Service was excellent. One of our colleagues had his birthday and the staff brought him a complimentary cake too

Probably the best Thai food I have had in the Middle East, authentic, spicy actually mean spicy, fragrance smells you usually only get in Thailand itself, exclusively Thai staff and a great vegetarian menu. Been several times, will come several more.

The service was impeccable. Most of the staff and chefs are from Thailand. Our server, Joy gave us a 100% and was very helpful in selecting the dishes.Tong Thai is a hidden gem and the best Thai restaurant we have tried so far. It opens only for dinner and is going on our recommendation list for anyone celebrating special occasions or just looking for some appetizing food and awe-inspiring ambiance!

Great ambience and decor. The view outside- not so. All construction site and a tiny sliver of Burj Khalifa. But the warm and friendly staff made up for it. The food is amazingly authentic. Felt like we were eating in one of the hotel restaurants in Bangkok.The chicken laab salad is very authentic. The duck curry with lychee is especially smooth and elegant. Will come here again to try the other dishes.

Tong Thai is always a good idea. Went for the restaurant month menu. Very good value for money and the food was delicious as usual. Highly recommended!

Nice decor, taste meals

Visited here after La Perle, which is close by.The service is generally of a high quality, with everyone very friendly and professional.The ambiance and setting are cozy and on the border of romantic. It was quite cold in the restaurant though.The food cake quickly and was of an outstanding quality. We had a pad Thai, Massaman and chicken with cashew nuts. The food came quickly. Main courses come with free and unlimited steamed rice. The Massaman with braised beef was the hands down highlight.The price is on the premium side, with most main courses at 100AED. It is however available on the entertainer.Despite the high price, I believe the food is the best Thai in town.

Love their thai food and have been twice but last time I went and saw a cockroach on the couch which the waitress shrugged using the cushion. We were shocked but the waitress wasnt. This was it and we left. Could be a one time incident but was a bummer.

Used to be my favourite Thai restaurant but not anymore.Ordered yellow curry with seafood. Only few pieces of seafood and it was full of potatoes and carrots.Beef tenderloin. They used such a cheap quality beef.Service and ambience was nice but food quality has gone down a lot.Hope they improve the food quality again.

Very stylish interior decor, excellent staff and yummy food, but I think the portion of the food can be bigger, don’t expect an Asian dish portion here.

The food and service are okay. However upon receiving the bill , I saw that we had been charged AED 35 for a 300ml can of soda water(1 AED retail). This is a mark up of 3400%. To put this in to context, it means a AED 80 bottle of wine(retail price ) would be AED 2720 in the restaurant. Its sugar free so its not even subject to the higher tax on carbonated drinks.

DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE! it is the only Thai restaurant in Dubai who has entertainer voucher, and thats why : because the Food quality is very bad, not like before, I have been here quite 3 or 4 times before and it was good but now tasteless noodles, tasteless fried rice, stinky shrimp, smaller portions, Curry was ok but not very special, a bit watery,,, Very slow service, we waited for the bill for almost 20 minutes, for the steamed rice more than 5 minutes.Never go there, JW marriot sent us a voucher to use, I asked the team in the restaurant before we start if we can use it, they said yes , then at the end they said no you can not use. Unprofessional how they deal with a costumer!!Very dark, you can not see what you are eating!

I love the decore of the place. The ambience is relaxing and accomodating with a hip of a distinguished lifestyle. Food is awesome. Its portion and taste was oh so right for my Thai taste buds. It was pesented well by the staff and you can feel the freshness how it was prepared. Customer service is high-grade. They always checkin with you and make sure you are comfortable and having a great time. They keep checking in on our table if they need to pour another drink or bus the table. Not too fascinated about the keep on checking part though, as there are times you get interrupted while you are having the conversation. Comfort room is too small just for 1 person (I think... Im not sure if they have other comfort rooms). It will be a concern if the place is jam packed. Other than that, with a place and food like this, it is worth dining a celebration with people you care about.

I visited this place for the first time & I must say I wasnt disappointed, the staff is very professional and very organised, the ambience of this place is marvellous. A good place for couples to celebrate a special occasion.

Celebrated my wifes birthday at this place. All request was catered too with details. Super awesome ambience and courteous staff makes this place remarkable. From drinks to complimentary dessert, all were detail and care oriented....the personalised card with hand written greetings from the staff made the day of my wife. A unforgettable memory. Thanks to the entire crew of Tong thai. A must visit place if u r looking for a romantic and detail. Oriented service on a special occasion. Well done.

An incredible restaurant. The entire experience from start to finish is wonderful. The staff go the extra mile with customer service and are both attentive but still allowing privacy when dining. The food is certainly 5* and the ambiance is perfect. Definitely worth a visit. They offer a happy hour from 6-8pm and they offer a good selection of beverages. You have to order these drinks at the bar but that is also a lovely experience. Its a Thai experience from start to finish. I would recommend their Thai green curry as it was delicious.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever tasted and experienced and I have been to Thailand many times so I understand the levels.I visit Dubai at least once a year and make sure I visit Tong Thai at leasttttt twice.The green peppercorn prawns are incredible and so is the green curry.Sally who works there is also a legend.Incredible service.I would give 10 stars if possible.

Was there for dinner on Thursday with the pre booked table. Really loved the ambience,the service was prompt,the staff is very polite. I think, its a bit pricey,but the authentic Thai food is always worth to pay for.

The design is really nice, and place has a nice view. Otherwise, the food is not worth the value. Much better Thai places that are cheaper can be found in Dubai. The green curry was good, the cashew chicken was mediocre, and the shrimp was similarly just okay. Definitely should not be rated anything above 3 stars.

This restaurant is the best Thai food place in all of dubai. I love Thai cuisine and so does my family. We all visit various outlets—- but Tong Thai tips them all. The service, the foooooodddd!!! The foooood I repeat haha! It’s amazing! It’s the same brilliant experience every time we visit!
