During our second visit to the Sofitel Palm Resort we were again made to feel welcome and special from the Porters Ado & Deepack to the check in staff and room service staff. The Maui restaurant didnt disappoint during our days spent in the Hired Tiki beach Cabana and the food, drinks and service was excellent. Ajith our waiter couldnt have been more courteous and helpful and made the whole experience very relaxing. We highly recommend the Maui restaurant as Lasantha and staff will ensure your every need is met professionally.
My family and I visited Zoya Indian restaurant for dinner today at our staycation in Sofitel The Palm. The restaurant is open only in the evenings for 6 times in the week. We had starters, main course and desserts along with Indian breads and rice. Everything was good, only wish the service was a bit quicker.
Great food, fabulous staff, wonderful ambience. We really enjoyed our dinner this evening.Portions are generous, pricing fair and the staff are happy to help and guide on different menu items. Would thoroughly recommend.
Excellent Indian menu, ambient venue, friendly staff... I could go on but as long term residents we know what is good value and quality...and this it. Will be back.
The cocktails were really yummy but the food… is terrible! I couldn’t even eat a half. Since I am staying here, there is no so many options where to go eat during the day.
The service (Sai) was amazing and absolutely satisfying. The food itself was very delicious and recommendable.Thank you for that great experience.
The ambient was great our waiter was very attentive and food was great we was sorry we didnt go there before our last night but I recommend it everything was great but try the lamb.
One of the best Ramadan buffet in Dubai. A wide range of varieties, where none of them you can ignore. Good selection by Chef, where you can mix international favorites with adding Arabic specialities. And the most important, that you have this experience straight on the beach with nice sea views.
We visited Zoya as part of our 2 night stay at the Sofitel. The food was good Samosa chaat was nice , chicken tikka masala was good. The Biriyani was ok. We asked for a mint sauce to accompany the starter but it didn’t arrive until 20mins later by that time the starter was finished. For a restaurant that was not full the service was very slow.At the end of the evening we wanted to use entertainer and was told to enter the code which we did and the waitress walked away to get a pen and by the time she came back the code disappeared which she then told us was our fault. Never have we been to a place where the waitress is blaming the customer about not knowing how to use entertainer. When we told her that next time perhaps stay here when you provide your code and take the code that comes up on screen she got defensive. We ended up using another entertainer code as we don’t expect to go back.
Zoya Restaurant right at the beach with Alfresco seating where you can enjoy Indian food with classical Indian music in a traditional setting. Start with Chicken Almond soup. Drink to have is Chilly Mocker with Kerala Fried Chicken as starter. Goan Prawn curry is mouth watering for main course and should be tried with traditional white rice
Wonderful food, great surroundings and excellent service from Binura, very friendly, knowledge and attentive.. great service
Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere, very nice and pleasant staff.
Great place to be! Wonderfull authentic food. Relaxing lounge athmospeere close to beach. Very nice which fully toole care of us and our 3 kids 😁. We really enjoiyed the evening in this place!
Great authentic food. Wonderful service . Not too missed. Best Indian in dubai
The service and food were mega good, just classy. Thanks Kanchana 👌👌👏
The Maui restaurant, the buffet at night is amazing! Very good service, and they have great system with the healthy restrictions for covid.
We visited this restaurant for dinner as part of the half board programme of the Sofitel Palm Hotel. The location is nice, service very professional. We enjoyed the Indian food, which can be ordered spicy or less spicy. I can only recommend this restaurant.
Very slow service, very average food. Disappointing.
Binaura was excellent and we would love to come back and fantastic food!
Not 100% sure - but the Indian food at night is next level maybe one of the best on Dubai. Staff and location also unbeatable.
Good service, nice and friendly Maui beach waiter (Jaseer)
Very nice local food with excellent service.
The food was really good and a very nice relaxing place to hang out however service was shocking. Every time we needed something I had to ask for something more than once. When our food was finished some dishes were left on the table for more than an hour after eating. Lots of staff walking around but not once did anyone ask if we were okay. Quite disappointed to be honest.
Great location, friendly staff and good service. I found the food ingredient quality to be quite average, I had higher expectations from a 5* hotel poolside restaurant(ordered club sandwich and a burger) but it was still “ok”. The pool side menus were disgusting though, these need to be cleaned regularly, from their condition you feel that they either clean them once a year or not at all.
The location of the restaurant is awesome, it is out side seating over looking the beach. They do have 3 course menu. The starter is average, the main has cool presentation but again average taste, and deserts wish is the best. The staff are nice and helpful.
A bit on the pricy side, but the venue makes up for it (perhaps why they charge so much - because they can) - the food is great quality, the menu has enough options for little ones too, but the service could be a little more attentive.
The food was terrible, really dragging down the Sofitel brand.Service was clumsy; quite a few clatters and dropped glasses, I had to remind them I’d ordered a drink and they even took my 5 month old’s green and pink feeding spoon until we asked them to look for it in the kitchen. It’s a nice location for a drink but I wouldn’t go expecting to eat anything pleasant.
Slow service, employees look frustrated
Last week we dined at the Maui Beach Dubai to experience their picnic under the stars concept. We arrived shortly after 8pm, to which the maitre d led us through the restaurant down to the beach, which coincidently was roped off to stop people from wondering down allowing the whole experience to be completely private. As we walked down we could see two wooden fire touches steaked into the sand and a blanket, on the blanket were a couple of bean bags, cushions two wicker hampers which contained our plates and cutlery for the meal along with the pashminas that we had previously requested.Shortly after, our waiter, a young Indian guy by the name of Prashanth came to introduce himself and explain how the picnic concept will work, I must admit although being young (and as we came to find out had only been in the UAE for a year), his lever of service and attention was second to none. He was polite, efficient and ensured that all our expectations were met, even to the little details of ensuring my lady was always served before myself. We even had a little call button that we could press in order for him to come to us when we needed something. Also throughout the night he was kind enough to offer to take lots of beautiful photos of us so that we could cherish our experience. As we had chosen the European menu we were delighted to see a tantalising selection of dishes, for our starters we were presented various dishes including bruschetta, ceviche, octopus salad and this amazingly thinly sliced bresaola and duo of melon which as definitely our favourite of the starters.During our starter we were delighted to be introduced to the restaurant manager Lasantha, who came to greet us and ensure that we were happy with the service that was being provided, it was clear that he takes a lot of pride and pleasure in welcoming his guests and ensuring that the service they received was to the best possible standard, this reaffirmed for us that the night would certainly be an experience to remember. The remainder of our meal included a main course of mixed grilled meats which were brought to us on a BBQ grill and accompanied with mushroom and peppercorn sauce and a side of roasted herbed potato wedges and steamed greens. Finally we finished the meal with an indulgent selection of deserts and fruit, which were small enough to experience the amazing flavours and textures but not too much to leave you bloated. We were so impressed with the high quality of service and hospitality we received and felt like royalty throughout the night, this is definitely the level of service that you would expect from Maui and Sofitel, the sort that you would only compare with that of the Maldives. I would definitely recommend this place or couples looking to experience a blissful and romantic meal together and would like to thank both Lasantha and Prashanth for amazing experience.
One of the best experiences had so far ,staff were excellent, food was very good at a point we ordered to much .overall well worth it.
Good foods and good vibes great experience
Mediocre food & terrible service - avoid. Served my main course (sheek kebab) missing key ingredients (onion rings and mint sauce). They tried to argue that they had been ground up in the kebab before bringing out some dips that we had already had for our poppadum starters. We realised later on that the supposedly complimentary mineral water to make it right was in fact added to our bill!
I love Sofitel. Then resort is so inviting, family friendly, and diverse. A great place to spend the day with your children.
Not bad drinks .. cost is a bit pricey.. but hey its a non drinking country what can you do.. except drink more 😁... service is good cant fault the poor lads in this hot weather..

Classy and peacefuk
After ordering we had to wait 25 minutes for the drinks. After another 30 minutes the meal came. When asked, the waitress only responded with coming soon and was not attentive. Other guests were provided with food within 20 minutes. The condition of the tables is more than unsatisfactory. In the gaps between the table and the tabletop there are leftovers of food, some of which have already started life. See image.
Well, this is for Indian food lovers)A definite plus: tables on the street!I do not want to leave, unlike closed-type restaurants. When choosing dinners from three half-board restaurants in a soffit, we decided not to go here anymore. The tandoor starter was great. The main dishes are purely Indian, meat in gravy with rice, there are spicy, there is not much. Liked the legs of the lamb. Desserts are strange)The childrens menu is normal and the food is likely to be brought from somewhere, because it was the same as in the other restaurant. And the child said that the burgers are the same, only the plates are different)The service is not clear, although they try. The level of preparation of the waiters is somewhat lame compared to the other two restaurants in the soffit.
Regardless of whether the menu says it is mildly hot or not at all, everything is hot
Totally overpriced as well as the whole hotel. A small can of Pepsi, 7Up, ... costs about 8 euros. A small miniburger with fries (less than a happy meal at McD) about 12 euros. Average food. In addition, the staff is very slow. One waits forever even when there is little going on. 2 stars for the beautiful location.
The best of the best. It brings out a meat production in a very very good condition. And the attention is splendid good
Service and meals okay, we have had much better in establishments in this category !! Price for local conditions in order!
The drinks are unfortunately very expensive but the staff and the service are great
I do not recommend it
My imagination is lined with a friendly and eating grandad that deserves 10000 stars
Indian restaurant from 19h very disappointed, food, wine, too expensive ... Not recommended !!!
Food and shisha are very expensive here and can offer nothing except a beautiful view
Elegant and beautiful defect prices are very high
Top food in one of the hottest hotels 😉👍
