Whenever we are in Dubai, we always come to West 14th for steak. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful both indoor and outdoor. The quality of food is excellent and consistent, plus very nice, friendly and attentive staff we met here especially Savitha-manager, Valentine and more. Excellent choices for steak and lots of yummy side dishes. Highly recommended!

A lavish friday brunch by the beach you shouldnt miss.We can indulge unlimited grills,roasts,salads and much more in their brunch.Options are enormous and unlimited.Their steaks are to die for.For sure you are gonna love the food and the whole vibe.Highly recommend the family brunch at West 14th.

We went to this restaurant as part of staycation package with the Dukes the Palm hotel.The restaurant is set around the beautiful beach side of Palm, the weather was pleasant too.We enjoyed a lovely 3 course dinner for the adults and 2 course dinner for our 5 year old.Under starters ,we ordered and enjoyed the West 14th Caesar salad, salt and pepper calamari and chicken nuggets and chips for the kid.For the mains, we ordered the flank stead and piri piri chicken skewer.For desserts we ordered red velvet cheesecake, black forest sundae and mini sundae for the kid.I would definitely recommend this place for a good dinner plan with friends and family.

West 14th is set back from the main hotel, with a beach view that in daylight is an attractive feature.The best part of dining at West 14th is the service that is friendly, knowledgeable and not intrusive.Admittedly, like 99% of people reviewing food and restaurants, I don’t hold any qualifications or education to educate you on the food, talent, or skill of the West 14th menu and team - I can only share my feelings and experience.The menu has a fair selection of dishes, so there should be something for most people on the menu - remembering this is a steakhouse, and that the menu definitely reflects that.The style of preparation and service leans heavily towards fine dining and the kind of food there Dubai loves so much - I’m not sure that in my opinion it’s pulled off well enough, considering the prices. It’s not going to be an inexpensive dining experience, but then, if you’re dining at a hotel steakhouse with an alcohol license, you are expecting to pay a certain premium to do that, and expect the experience to reflect that.We had a selection of entrees, followed by Salmon, Ribeye, and Chateaubriand, with sides, and a selection of desserts, water, and a wine. Together with service charge, that came to roughly AED 1500 for three of us.The food was tasty, and good quality though the Chateaubriand was tough, and not a traditional Chateaubriand (i.e. sealed in butter, sliced, served with Bearnaise - instead, this was simply a plain grilled fillet steak with fries and a creamy sauce very unlike a Béarnaise. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t Chateaubriand.)For to the money we paid, I have to admit I was a little disappointed - I wasn’t sorted by anything other than the service. We visited West 14th Steakhouse located in the Dukes Palm Hotel for their Saturday brunch. Great ambience, tasty comfort food, amazing drinks, live music and quick service. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite a distance from the lobby of the hotel, wish they had a buggy service to the venue.

Drinks at the beach side is served by west 14 now image its 45*C and when we wanted place order and asked for the ICE 🧊, THEY JUST SAID THAT THEY DONT HAVE IT !!! During the most hot time of the year at FRIDAY they dont have ICE . I am not recommending you visit .

Service very good...but a lot of stuff not on menu. I thought it was quite expensive with local small water at Dsh15 and icecream at Dsh20 per scoop....food was ok....its generally a nice place

Overpriced, horrible service & they cant offer you the food thats in their menu.We ordered pumpkin salad, there were few ingridents missing.... had to highlight it before having it replaced.The salad was enough for us to leave without ordering main dish.

Not enough review stars for this place! The food is absolutely amazing. Having dinner while looking at the skyline and city lights is magical experience! The staff is extraordinary, kind and helpful to explain everything about food and drink choices. Looking forward to visiting this place again soon!

GREAT RELAXED BRUNH ON SATURDAYS – ITALIAN BEACH VIBE WITH LIVE MUSIC!West 14th Steakhouse is located within Dukes Hotel on the Palm. It is in a beautiful location and is just a short walk (5 mins) at the rear of the hotel (it is outside so be prepared for the heat in the summer months).The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and if the weather is not too hot, it is great to sit outside in the winter months as it is situated poolside and has a great atmosphere.We visited for Saturday brunch and had a great time. They were hosting a special Italian themed event where Spanish Masterchefs were making paella live etc. In the outdoor area there were various different stations (a hog roast, Estrella on draught, paella, meats, vegetables etc) there was a great selection. As part of the brunch you could choose this in addition to the food that was already being served at your table (fish n chips, grilled meats, sushi – the list goes on and there is more than enough food to go around, especially if you are visiting in a big group). A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are also included (dependant upon the package you choose).There was live music being played outside and a small dancing area (should you wish to dance). The venue is perfectly suitable for children and it is fun for all the family (not just the adults!)Pool and beach access is included as part of the brunch deal and you are allowed to leave the restaurant with your drinks to sit poolside, so you can make the day as relaxed and casual as you like.We had a great time and would visit again soon with family/friends.Instagram: @journeywithuss

This was a lovely place to eat and have a drink during the day and night. The seats are well spaced out so you have good privacy, the staff provided a really good level of service and most importantly, the food was great!

Well, the steak was good enough. There is two sizes on offer. Ive chosen the smaller one, which wasnt really large.Later ordered what is called here carpaccio. I would not say what I got was bad or tasteless, but it was definitely not a carpaccio.Anyway we had a nice dinner here. The staff is nice and gentle. Would consider coming again.

Best restaurant we visited in Dubai

I have been to this place many times and pretty much any item you pick from the menu will be good, including the cocktails. The place is generally known for its good steaks, somewhat more on the pricey side but worth it. Its situated next to the pool and beach and the setting is nice either during day or night with views over the marina. There is both in and outdoor seating where some areas of the bar also serve shisha

Came here for movie night and it was great, if you come to the early movie do NOT buy your drinks from the servers (price for beer 49) better get it from the bar next to it (happy hours from 6 to 8 pm price of beer 30 and the toilet is there anyway) good ambience nice sound and beautiful views.

Parking and access to the restrauant is a little odd, not a problem for the winter months, but patrons could be glowing after the walk in the summer.Our party of four all found the setting very pleasent in the seating area outside. The staff were attentive in the right measure.We all had a starters and main courses to eat, three of us also had 3 alcoholic drinks each, one of our group had 3 soft drinks.The food was very good.All in all an enjoyable experience but I found the cost (AED1500 - £300) to be very expensive and it will be the reason that none of are planning a return visit any time soon ( we are all Dubai residents). This is the reason I have only given a 3 star rating.Other outlets are reducing their prices to reflect that live entertaiment is not provided, customers have more choices and they do not need to pay the inflated prices that existed pre pandemic, on this occasion we did as our time was limited, but the fact that we left with a bad taste in our mouth should be a wake up call to the management.

Drinks and service are great, but the margherita pizza needs a lot more tomato and basil...& usually large chunks of fresh mozzarella.Restaurant:Very, very pricey, especially, for a regular meal at the restaurant. Burgers for over $20/~80AED? That better be the best burger anyones ever had for that price. Steaks are in the $60-100 range or 200-400AED. In their defense, steaks do seem to be extremely expensive in Dubai. (Its quite a bit more than the steakhouses in Qatar such as the amazing Spanish steakhouse at the Icon or their fish restaurant.)Where they shine: service is phenomenal. They do service very, very well here. The views are nice, but they couldve been better if the restaurant has been built with more views of the skyline. The brunch on Fridays was superb with a changing menu. Huge selection of food. You wont go home hungry.Areas to improve: Would be nice if they knew what was on the menu for Friday brunch ahead of time and posted that to help potential patrons decide whether to go or not. Would be nice if non-alcoholic drinks were included with the brunch.

We visited West 14th Street on The Palm yesterday for brunch. What a mistake that was! On arrival our booking couldnt be found even though we had 2 emails confirming the booking for 6 people! Eventually we foolishly paid and entered a nightclub scene with music so loud the waiter could not hear us and vice versa!!! Eventually the waiter told us we had a choice of 1 cheap sweet white wine or 1 red for the alcohol package that was it!!!!!! Fortunately we had received an email with a list of white, red and Rose as well as cocktails and spirits which was not offered to us but on showing the email we managed to have the Rose.This has to be the worse Brunch in Dubai nowhere else is so poorly run, with staff who dont know what they are doing and food of low quality for the price of AED350

A bit disappointed to be honest. The starter scallops are slightly too salty (one is fine) and the cream sauce underneath feels like out of a bottle. On the steak, heavy handed with salt again on Wagyu....the ambiance isn’t impressive for its price.

This was a delectable afternoon brunch which we enjoyed thoroughly. The variety of food on offer was fit for a king. The beverages were equally good . The two musicians ( from South Africa and West Indies) sang and played wonderful music in Jazz style. I complimented them personally. The live cooking stations were yummy. The staff was ever so attentive and were complimented as well. We would revisit this restaurant in the future.

Awesome view and fantastic experience of food

Had lunch there a couple of days ago with 2 of my friends. The access to the restaurant is a bit awkward. Even though I opted for valet parking we had to walk a bit to get to the restaurant. Something I am not a big fan of when the temperature is 35+. Even when we got to the place the entrance is awkward and no one is there to ask. After that was sorted though everything was superb; the view was spectacular even though we sat inside: the restaurant overlooks a pool which overlooks part of the sea and Dubai Marina. After we were seated, the service was prompt and attentive.We ordered the Cornish crab cakes and heirloom tomato salad for starters which were good. For my main dish I had the tenderloin (medium) as did one of my friends. The last of the bunch ordered the yellow fin tuna. The steak was delicious; ranks up there with some of the best steaks I had in Dubai. I tried a small piece of the yellow tuna and it was not anything special, I had better elsewhere. For dessert I had the lemon meringue pie and loved it.I would love to dine again at West 14th when the weather is more acceptable so that we can enjoy the view more.

The place is amazing with great views of the palm. The atmosphere and the vibes are very relaxing and chilled. Ordered the tomahawk steak and it was amazingly cooked. They also have a great selection of wines at reasonable prices. They missed the 5th star as the service was a bit slow.

So, I booked a table for 4.5 a day in advance. We got there and everything was fine until we placed an order. I get that it was a Thursday night, however the service didnt have to be that slow. The food and drinks were sumptuous but it shouldnt take that long to serve. Improve on the service and we will be back in a jiffy!

Used to be a great place. Fresh bread, selection of knives, good services and most importantly - great meat. Now bread is gone, no knives selection, service is sad and meat is served warm... Very sad but cannot recommend to visit any more

This is the worst welcoming team, I ever seen. We stand 7 min in the middle of the restaurant and no one saw us, after that we wait 15 min for give an order its unbelievable! They are so slow and they dont care customers. And i order medium rare steak t but you can guess it came well done. And they dont care it also. No need to go there you can find a lot of good steak restaurants easily and im sure they will care their customers.

The restaurant is located in a prime location. Overlooking the pool between The Dukes Hotel and Oceana Residence in the Palm Jumeirah. The decoration is very sober and what I liked the most is that there is enough space between tables, which is good so that you can talk freely. Now coming to food, I have to admit that the Seared Tuna Nicoise salad was excellent and the portion quite generous. But when visiting a steakhouse, apart from the ambiance, the location and the salads, you expect the steack to be good, which was not the case. I went for a Sirloin medium done, and it was a chewy, and the meat had a kind of taste to cinnamon or another spice that I did not like.I might give the restaurant another chance, maybe it wasnt a good day.

I loved the location of West 14th, we experienced great live music, the service was excellent. The steak was beautifully cooked, the king prawn starter was surprisingly very good (I dont normally order king prawns). Highly recommended.

Love West 14th the ambience and food is lovely. I marked it down 1 star from excellent as it can be a little pricey compared to other local eateries and I would love to see them serve organic steak. Aside from that give it a whirl.
