I used to admire Sanjeev kapoor and it’s dishes on YouTube. But the longtime awaited visit at Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor Restaurant was terrible experience. It was suppose be fine dine restaurant but the taste, presentation was not at all align to the value of money. This is our first and last visit to the so called fine dine restaurant. The experience was very bad and will not recommend if you are the food lover..

My husband and I went for the 3 course lunch and it was really good! Friendly and fast service, delicious food, and nice ambiance. Bhaskar was a very friendly waiter!The only thing we didn’t understand was that they said they don’t allow take aways for the lunch. The portions were too much for us and we had to push them to allow us to take the extra food home. They are just going to throw it away, so we were confused.

We were served traditional papad with a variety of condiments as appetizers. The first palate cleanser was a dallop of mango pulp formed through the process of gastronomy.For starters, we ordered a mixed platter comprising of lamp chops, chicken drumsticks, prawns, fish and mutton galouti kabab, followed by another palate cleanser which tasted like lemon sorbet before our main course was served.Main was dal makhni, signature mango butter chicken, and signature dum naryali prawn curry with a bread basket. We also ordered mutton and chicken biryani.Our desert was an attractive platter of shivalik ras malai which differed from the traditional presentation, but tasted mind blowing especially with a mix of sauces splattered over the plate.

Amazing Indian food! Good price for value. If you wanna try set menu better to go earlier for lunch maybe.

We have been visiting Signature restaurant since many years, and the latest visit prompts us to sign off and exit from this relationship. We had Lunch there (a la carte) on 24th July, and the food was no where near what we have had there in many occasions. In the past I have also taken international corporate guests as well, and always lest as happy customers. While the Pandemic has posed challenges for one and all, food quality being compromised is not something that can help sustain the restaurant on the path of continued success.

Fantastic Indian restaurant. Fantastic food. Probably some of the best Indian food we have ever tasted. And certainly the best in dubai. The tasting menu is excellent value. The service very good. And the mixed grilled starter is simply amazing (highly recommended) take the trouble to travel here. I have been here twice from two visits to dubai. Ill be back again.

Thinking about Indian fine dine? Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor is the answer. From fantastic dim lit interiors to stunning desserts, they were perfect. Once seated, the tasting menu was a journey through Signature Sanjeev Kapoor dishes and stories about how the dishes were created was explained in good detail. Very tough to pick favorites but the Dum Nariyali Prawns, Rogan E Nalli(pictured here), Dilli Murg Makhni in Mains and of course the Rasmalai Snow in desserts was fantastic. Even the pani puri was very different from the usual and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were 2 different type of palate cleansers which were given in between courses so our taste buds were ready and tingling. Another must try item here is the mixed platter which includes different meats of which the lamb chops were excellent. It was a wonderful experience here overall and is an excellent place to celebrate important occasions or you want to have a dine in experience with a difference.

Terrible experience all together right from the welcome till the time we exit the place. We entered and were directly told that our reservation was cancelled by someone wherein our frnds were already seated on the table!! The ambience is very shady..with the name of the place we expect a decent place with decent furniture. Outdoor seating area was more terrible. Half of the things in the menu were not there including the juices!! The starters served were cold. We shifted our tables mid way of our meal due to poor air conditioning. The waiters were running hapazard. We had other guest on the table who too got angry for delay in service.All in all we are never ever going back. Even the food was below average. And the management wasnt good at all.Ambience of the place is more like a haunted house. It was a complete disaster!

The best thing about this place was our waiter SAMSON! Made us feel like royalty as soon as we walked in. We chose a samosa chaat to begin with and unique is the perfect word for it. I would definitely recommend this. We also chose the lamb chops and a chicken tikka tawa masala as a mains. The chops were lovely but we arent fans of fatty bits in meat and unfortunately we found that majority of the chops were fat (the little bit of meat was lovely). Samson noticed we didnt eat the fat and got us a clay oven cooked paneer dish which was lovely and he really didnt need to go the extra mile as we were already pretty stuffed. The curry wasnt too great but everyone has their own preferences in terms of spices/herbs used. Again I would like to make the company know that they have a real gem in Samson. Best waiter in Dubai. Poor service... average food...I asked chicken soup ..they served tomato soup...Had to leave without main course as after asking three times nobody took the order...

On 29th may I went there to celebrate my marriage anniversary It was good food and very nice experience....starter was good but qty is 1 pcs..(quite low...) Main course test 👌But it was surprised for me that v found small sticker/paper of approx 20 mm long in curry. And there mamager come and all come to say sorry for such fault. They offer complement drink etc... But it has spolied me n my wife mood for some time.After that desert/sweet dish served & it refreshed our mood.Overall experience was good but main course spoiled our mood.They gave complimentary cake as it was our marriage anniversary.

Great restaurant with fantastic food

Valentines day set menu was awesome. Very yummy 5 course meal .. Loved the starters, main course n gulab jamun n ice-cream platter.. And the presentation was 👌👌👍😋😋😍

Such a romantic interiors with candle lights, live cooking stations, Melody music, we jus relaxed for 5min and ordered mixed plater Kebabs, after the order chef directly came to us interacted and asked about our tastes and sent Pani poori one for each .. omg...omg.. melted in our mouths after dt they gave us some mango shot which looks like egg yolk dt was awesome.. few fried pappad with different chutneys and finally our Kebabs arrived which are heavenly fresh and juicy.Bit expensive but worth for money.

I went here around 4 years ago and it was incredible. High end, theatrical, and delicious. I went again recently and its just a normal Indian restaurant but with the same prices as before.I was really not impressed. Dont get me wrong the food was OK but not for the price.

Good place for a family or team catchup meetings. Range of food is good, very well served and neatly maintained place.Sampson is one guy there to be mentioned, you can just count on him for the menu combination and take it. He makes your life simple and the food is delicious making you feel in India.

Loved it is an understatement.The food was incredibly good and the staff, especially Samson were so attentive and well trained.Probably one of my best afternoon lunches in Dubai in a long time.

The 11 course tasting menu was amazing. So many tastes, such great presentation and friendly staff. I think my favorite appetizer was the coriander and corn solution that you poured into a hollow pastry and ate the whole thing. Delightfully tasty and innovative!

This is a hidden gem for all the Indian food lovers. Every dish ordered is unique in taste. The service of the staff is amazing. The seating is very modern and the feel is very nice.Being a vegetarian we ordered the starters, which were very well prepared the spices are just perfect and served hot. The main course has plenty of options and due to some dietary restriction the chef came over to discuss the food and got us a special dish done as per our requirements. The only place for improvement would be in the dessert section, I think there is a lot of unexplored dishes that can be added to the menu, and probably keep the sugar level low.Overall a must visit for some good Indian fine done food

We went to the Signature restaurant on Diwali day for a special set menu. The ambience of the restaurant is very good. The food was presented very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, specially Ms. Sreyashi, Mr. Sylvester and Mr. Umesh. The service was very good and food was excellent.

I visited with a friend out of Signature business hours and we were welcomed and accomodates.Anil who was our host was so good and certainly added huge value to our lunch and food experience, explaining about all the courses that we went through.As per the ambience, it is relaxing decoration and good music to hear while dining.Food was so good, taste awakens sensations.Certainly, I will be visiting again and again.It is not just only a food experience, it is much more in Signature.Thank you guys :)

Extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience of this venue. We went with lots of expectations and unimaginable hunger for good food; sadly we were disappointed on both fronts. The occasion was Diwali so all my friends planned a trip to this exotic restaurant with our families, fascinated by the Sanjeev Kapoor brand. They had a fancy pamphlet detailing the entire 5 course menu, a fixed menu mind you. Yet, it took us almost 3 hours to leave the restaurant, such was the level of delay in their service. Pathetic service, I say, because apart from delaying, whenever they were getting stuff to the table it was in such small quantities that it further infuriated our disgust. Barring a few gimmicky items, food was pretty ordinary in taste. They should take a leaf from some of their peers in the neighbouring area of Karama, where you have ample options to have excellent North Indian food. Cherry on the cake (sarcastically) was the price, 100 AED per person! I tip my hat to this restaurant for having the audacity to charge such hefty fees when their service levels and taste are much worse than several other nearby food joints. Its not good to taint a famous personality hard earned reputation by providing such below par experience to ones patrons.I strongly suggest avoiding this venue, unless someone else is paying for your food and you dont mind waiting for ages to be served with something very ordinary!

Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor is a super fine dining restaurant that serves Chef Sanjeev Kapoors authentic Indian and signature dishes.Started off with some papads and fryums, with a variety of chutneys. We had Passion fruit aam panna for drinks. It was refreshing, tangy and tasty!For pre starters, we tried pani puri and dahi vada. Both were excellent.We were then served splendid kebabs for appetisers. The kebab platter consisted of herby lamb chops, methi chicken tikka, tawa mahi and curry leaves crusted prawns. My personal favourite was the prawns. It was perfect! All the other kebabs were delicious as well.For mains, we tried lalla mussa dal(dal makhni), mango butter chicken, rogan-e-nalli with bread basket; and murgh parda biriyani. Mango butter chicken was something unique, it tasted excellent! Also, the Biriyani was super flavourful.For desserts, we tried the chai kulfi and bappa doi. I wasn’t a fan of the chai kulfi as I don’t drink tea, but I enjoyed the bappa doi which was basically baked yoghurt.We were given some interesting palate cleansers in between, one of which looked outstanding thanks to the molecular gastronomy effects.Service was top notch. Mr Anil and Mr Umesh were awesome. So was Ms Mansi who welcomed us, she was playing with our little one and kept her entertained for a while.Overall, it was one of a kind experience. We had a great dinner!

It was the first time I visited the signature restaurant in Bur Dubai and I must say thank you to the chef and staff for a delightful meal. Special thanks to Yashi, Harold, Syed, Paul and Anil for their excellent service and their hospitality. It was my birthday on 12/11/19 and the staff went out of their way to celebrate it with me with sparklers and a mousse cake curtesy of the hotel. Well done I hope to visit next time I visit Dubai. It’s located in TheCanvas Hotel.As we all know that, Sanjeev Kapoor is not just a name .... it’s a brand in itself .... an Indian celebrity chef, who bought the revolution in the field of cooking. It was really a privilege to be there.The ambience of the restaurant is done all four elements of Nature.... earth, water, fire & air. A truly Indian feel with awater body at the entrance... Buddha ... sculptures..... decors. There is plenty of seating indoors as well as a very pretty outdoor seatings as well.The staff is very friendly & Mr. Anil was there to explains us about the food really well. Chef Praveen was there to guide us about the signature food & the techniques used.Coming to the food we had there.We were served the special menu which Chef Praveen had chosen for us.We started with Pre starters- Papad & chutney- Tiranga fruit spheres... the three color fruit spheres denoting our Indian flag ... was deliciousFollowed by the drinks ...- Ginger Smash.... with a very strong flavor of ginger... this drink was really refreshing- Charcoal Colada ... I was staying in the Canvas Hotel Dubai where the restaurant is located so went there for lunch although Im not a big fan of Indian food but the Indian duty manager at the Sofitel Jumeirah Beach where Id been staying before the Canvas had recommended it. Sanjeev Kapoor is an Indian celebrity chef who hosts a very popular Indian show called Khana Khazana and comes to the hotel once every 3 months to train the staff in his restaurant.

Very Slow service. Food was also not upto the expectations.We had gone there to celebrate Diwali party with prior booking,for this day they have fix menu but still its took 2 and half hours which is very long. Not upto the expectations at all.
