Loved the food, everything was so amazing. Atmosphere and ambiance was great. The staff were very nice friendly and helpful. Although their best seating area was the enclosed balcony which was a smoking area. So we chosed a table inside, but we could still smell the cigarette since people would step away from their table and smoke next to the door! So we ended up with a less attractive space with second hand smoke..lol...

I love Greek cuisine and this restaurant is one of the best ones. Honestly I didnt like the entrance of the hotel and the decoration of the restaurant but the food is absolutely amazing. The tables are not too close to each other. There is no kids menu but the meat, chicken and some food are suitable for toddlers and older kids. Portions are not too small and the prices are quite good. The service could be better but the staff was super friendly.

Elia is a little gem hidden in the middle of Bur Dubai. The atmosphere is great and so is the service. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly.The food is scrumptious and authentic. You would think that you are at your Greek grandmothers!The menu is very varied as well and offers something for every palate. Definitely give it a try to experience a real taste of Greece.

Hidden gem in Dubai! From the starters to the desserts you will find only mouthwatering and authentic Greek dishes, the grilled octopus left me speechless. Mr Raafat who attend us was very friendly and made us feel at home. Lovely experience, we will come back soon!

I would go to this place again and again just for their eggplant snack that they serve for free before the main dining. Food definitely deserves 5 stars. I remove 1 star because it was too cold inside and the waiter did not want to assist us by reducing a/c or giving us another table. We also found the female waiter being too chatty with ourmale guests (and not so friendly with the females).

Very good grub especially if you keep it simple. Super creamy Taramasalata, amazing grilled Halloumi and the best slow cooked lamb in town. For Vegans there is the Chestnut & Mushroom Stifado / wow.

I had an amazing experience there. I had a very late lunch so the place was empty what gave us a great opportunity for good service. I had the special and it was the first time I had pork in Dubai. It was delicious to say the least and the service done by Chanil was exceptional, very good. We were very happy. Definitely going back to try the Moussaka.

Delicious restaurant located inside the Majestic city retreat hotel. It is beautiful and has lots of quality items on the menu. The night I visited, there was live music and really made a nice ambiance. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

This is one of my best experience with greek cuisine and Ambience is pretty romantic and they have lovely seating arrangements inside as well as outside.. i think perfect place for couples, family and group of friends as well. So we started off with there special breads and dips. We tried there special Greek Wine its called Katogi Averoff and then we tried there Dolmadakia which was made of vine leaves stuffed with rice and herbs and taste was really good and also i loved there grilled halloumi topped with fig sauce it was one of the best thing i have ever had...

Great meal in this hidden gem of a Greek restaurant in Bur Dubai. My sister found this while looking for Greek restaurants on line and it was great. Food was very good and service was excellent and pricing very reasonable for Dubai. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Amazing food quality, big regards to the chef for the amazing flavors, a true hidden gem in Dubai and the prices are reasonable for the quality you recieved.What totally ruined our experience though? The service. Was really disappointed by the speed and service, waiters not knowledgeable on their own menu, we ask for simple things and they always come wrong. Over and over that we just got so frustrated. Maybe we got unlucky with our waiter who doesn’t even smile. First time 2 appetizers came wrong.Main courses took over an hour to arrive. Im writing this review as we are still waiting for it :(I really hoped to give this place 5 stars and i think it is almost a deserves it if it wasn’t for the level of service.I hope they can improve their service.Thank you.

What a great place to go back to Greece without flying there. The place is very well decorated with a genuine Hellenic touch bringing us to those hot nights in Mykonos. Must visit to try Greek food

I went to Elia last night to celebrate a close friend’s birthday and there were 9 of us. We had the Iftar menu special and everything was absolutely fantastic! It is a very cute restaurant, like one of the small neighborhood favorites in Europe. There was indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful larger outdoor seating area for nicer weather. We sat indoors near the bar and it was absolutely beautiful! The decor was nice, lovely Greek music, fantastic wait staff, especially Mr. Raafat who took great care of us. What a lovely evening, everyone at our table was happy with everything! What a memorable evening! The food was delicious and they have a very nice eggplant spread with a special secret ingredient, we really enjoyed this spread with the delicious breads. Also the Crete sunrise cocktail was superb! This was the first restaurant in Dubai that made me feel so comfortable that I did not want to leave! Thank you so much Elia staff for making our birthday evening so memorable!

In 5 years of visiting and living in Dubai this was the best meal Ive had. Carefully compiled flavours. Unique contemporary interpretations, maintaining the substance of the old. No extra seasoning required. Good house wine. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was true to a taverna with elegance.

Had lunch today at the restaurant and unfortunately had bad experience both with the food and service.Service was slow and unprofessional, like servers dont know menu and how it served and repeated order 3 times before it was written down.Starters was normal, however main course was very bad, lamb chops came well done instead of medium as well as meat was very bad quality.

Amazing Greek restaurant. One the pioneers in Greek dining in U.A.E. Traditional Greek dishes with unique touch. I feel very sorry that I managed to visit this place after being already so many years i the U.A.E. Very good wine selection and decent prices for the quality of the dishes. A hidden gem here in Bur Dubai, we came here when we were exploring on line for something different. And it really was exceptional, foods were truly Greek and some were fusions. The restaurant itself has this beautiful interiors with outdoor seatings, you won’t disappoint any friends, families or colleagues, just marvelous.
