The place is light and airy.Drink menu:Eastorio- beetroot, lemon and soda drink.passion Ranger- Mix of orange juice and passion fruit.Starter:Chicken Halloumi- Nice but has to eaten hot as chicken can get slightly rubberyIngipuli Prawn- lovly blend of sour from the tamarind and the sweet of the prawns.Curry leaves Panner- Panner is very fresh and with a nice crumble texture.Cream of Mushroom soup- creamy can be quite heavyAttukal Soup- reminds you of how your mum prepares the mutton soup, with spices.Mains:Mutton Pothichoor- Flavorful mutton curry mixed with rice,Butter chicken- similar to most butter chickenlobster- Lobster meat with Cheese, very nicely prepared lobster meatWayanad Bamboo biryani- Taste of the bamboo is infused with the rice giving it a different aromatic and visual treatDessert:Pannacotta- Coconut, Pistachio and MilkBorwnie with IcecreamDefiantly a mist try and i would recommend the lobster, Pothichoor and the bamboo rice.

Ghee Rice Restaurant has a great interior and ambience. Its decent place to be with your family. Even though its part of a hotel but the prices are decent and affordable. Talking about the food we tried Ghee Rice, Beef fry and curry. They keep up with their name Ghee Rice. It is really good. Health conscious people can ask them to be low on salt. We also tried Spaghetti and it was too good. Service is really average may be they are tired for day long work. Go with the family and it also has ample space.

The portions are ridiculously small.We ordered the burger and “Australian lamb chops”. Less than 6oz of meat between the both plates.This is for ants not humans.50 bucks to just be hungry again.Thanks Dubai

We attended a Friday grand brunch at this restaurant. They have ample sitting area which is great even for going your small family function. Their menu include a range of salads both customizable and ready made, kids menu (pizzas, fries, nuggets etc), seafood menu, steam roasted lamb biryani was the highlight of the brunch, chicken dishes, puris, bhajis and desserts. They had two types of drinks too watermelon fresh juices and lime juice. I wish they could have a little more variety of their drinks section. The staff of the restaurant starting from the manager to waiters every single person was attentive and ready to accommodate their guests in need. Their variety of food was just perfect for the desi foodies as well as for non desis who love to try a new cuisine. We enjoyed our brunch but I was more focused on the fish chuncks which for me was the best among all. My kids loved their margarita pizza. The ambiance of the restaurant was so good. Moreover, the value of money in this brunch was ensured. They have a branch in Abu Dhabi as well. I’d give it a 3.5⭐️

Ambience was very good. We ordered Attinkaal Soup and cream of Mushroom Soup. Both are good. For starters we have ordered Curry Leaf Paneer and Fish Tawa Fry. Curry leaf Paneer was different one. Must try one. Fish Tawa fry was awesome. For Main Course we ordered Wayanadan Chicken Bamboo Biryani, Ghee Rice, Fish Mango Curry, Appam, Kerala Parotta. Ghee rice was ok. The Wayanadan Chicken biryani was the best of all.

Its opened 4 months ago. The ambience of the restaurant is very good. The restaurant is a part of flora hotel, which is opened in the Dubai airport road, garhoud. The staffs are just okey and need much training to be more interactive with the guests. Good tastes nice. Prices are high compared to other ghee rice restaurants and qty is less. Perfect place for party. Instagram feeds are there few. Seating are available for couples, group of 4 and big groups. Have seen westerners and russians who stays at flora trying the authentic cuisine of kerala and fusions.

Guys.. Check out this new restaurant in town .. had been to this place today.. they serve yum food .. Do try there Mopile Erachichoru (rice wid beef) it comes packed in banana leaf with special dates pickle, pappad, lemon pickle , Raita and green chili chutney as side dish.. I would recommend to try their mocktail “Passion Ranger” .. wow it was just tooo good .. I loved it .. so refreshing..and finally soft and yummy Gulab jamun.. areee waah... Happy stomach... happy me 😊

Good ambiance and good food. Tried their signature Ghee Rice combo. It was tasty and the quantity was sufficient for me as I was not very hungry 😉. I suggest to keep sufficient balance in your credit/debit card if you want to try their food varieties.

They are not well organised.the cordination to serve the food is very poor. We cant get the items in the expected manner and rate. I believe basically they are preparing and serving the food for the residents in the Flora hotel.

We waited for almost an hour and still no response what kind of unorganized restaurant is this. One the worst experience I had in my entire life ,full delay and the servers don’t even know whether what their actual job is.

This place had an amazing ambience and so we were thrilled to have our dinner here. But, we ended up being so disappointed as the food wasnt upto the mark . It was extremely overpriced and the wasnt worth it at all. The quantity was pea-sized and it didnt fill our stomach.

The Podhi Chor was nice, but the Starter Inji Puli Prawn was not upto the mark. As a South Indian Dish the masala or the coating needs to go well with the meat/Prawns which wasnt the case. The coating just came off and it did not really go well with the Prawns - Suggestion on having/pocking holes into the prawn and applying the coating would work well and the suggestion was taken by the restaurant officials. Overall a nice place to take family and friends to try some authentic south indian meal.

For those who wants to challenge your taste bud of spiciness, I recommend the Chicken Ghee Roast.Another recommendation would be the Tandoori Lambchops, which is very tender and well- seasoned. A good starter.A note here is that I’m also experiencing the high standard of customer service from Sharath, who took initiative on recommendation and proactively making sure I enjoying their food. Another over hyped restaurant!! There are many other authentic restaurants that serve Keralite or Malabar cuisine. We visited this place one month back... The restaurant is tidy,well maintained with a good ambience since its located in Flora. Service was too slow.. they did not have everything as in the menu... There was no authenticity... Many of my malayali Muslim friends moms food taste better than what I had here... There is no real taste of MALABAR here!! ✌️

Would highly recommend Ghee Rice@Flora Inn, Garhoud. Had visited this place with my colleagues over the weekend. We were a group of 22 people and the experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Had spoken to Prince beforehand and he ensured our seatings were reserved and requests were catered in an efficient manner. Venue has seating arrangements to cater to wider audience. Ambience is good.. ... Food was fantabulous and great service. Overall an amazing experience.

I am not a big fan of south Indian dishes as it doesnt suit my taste buds but this place is something unique. We were served with a set menu specially prepared by the chef . From Soup to Appetizer to main course to dessert everything tasted good and had it own taste. I loved how the food was presented. You will literally get a feel of fine dining in this restaurant .
