La Cantine has become an institution for Dubai. With awesome views of DIFC, a garden environment and nestled in Urbansville makes it a must see for any foodie lover. They constantly change the menu and keep some of the old favorites too. The recent full refurbishment gives it more of a flow and has spruced up even more. Their business lunches is excellent value without quality compromise may be a touch on quantity bit good things come in small packages.

Food is incredible, one of the best in Dubai with top service and somelier and very comfy seating.

Great place for a nice lunch. The menu was beautifully orchestrated. The service was impeccable. The food was nicely balanced. The only thing I could say was the duck could be cooked at a better temperature, mine was dry and slightly overcooked. But the flavours were there especially the confit tomates.

It is an incredible place, without a doubt one of my favorites in Dubai.The remodeling of the place surprised me for good! The decoration and the atmosphere is beautiful, fine and distinguished.The music accompanies every moment of the night without being invasive, the food is delicious, fresh and the flavors very well achieved.Table service ten points. I highly recommend it for those who have not been there yet and for those who must return to see the new version of La Cantine !!!

One of my favourite places in Dubai for a brunch. Amazing food and atmosphere as always. The music was on point. Great service. Only slight criticism is the flow of how the food came out was quite slow. The portions were also quite small for the number of people in our table.

Weve been regulars to this brunch, always frequented during holidays and invited family during christmas etc. but unfortunately things seem to be going downhill since the re-opening. It was like pulling teeth to get our drinks refreshed, although waiters seem to be working hard, theyre not working smart & disorganized (managements fault due to lack of training). Although food was good, the portions received were shockingly small and for a table of 6, feed us properly. The overall charm this place once had is sadly lost, and all 6 of us felt the experience wasnt one we wanted repeated. Wish them the best, but management needs to please step up.

Best terrace Ive seen in Dubai. Food is delicious and service is great. The waiter gave great advice on which cocktails to choose. The wine selection is huge as well. Prices are very high but this is to be expected in a place like this.

Went for a birthday dinner. Super relaxed, lounge feel with incredible food. The slow cooked beef starter was divine as were the lamb chops in a red curry sauce. Staff effortlessly elegant and attentive. Great venue and food.

Had an amazing experience at La Cantine Du Faubourg. Aside from excellent food, the ambiance was great. The team are welcoming and well-dressed. The venue is spacious and inviting. Their concept revolves around sound, music, image, art and food. The meat and fish were perfectly cooked and they offered fantastic food pairings. I recommend are Yellowfin Tuna Ceviche, Honey-Glazed Wagyu Short Ribs, Spicy Beef Toast, Squid Ink Risotto, Grilled Calamari, Walnut-Crusted Chilean Sea Bass, and their Deconstructed Millefeuille.

One of the best food Ive had in Dubai, everything is amazing, the staff the atmosphere, and the music.The brunch food is like you are ordering from the menu on a normal day (their standard do not drop an inch) which is hard to find these days. The atmosphere is not one but many, you can go with your friends, colleagues or on a date, there is enough privacy for you to be far from everyone but enough vibes to lift your spirit all night. The music (super important) is also always carefully chosen. My Shazam never stops capturing tunes there. Now to the most important point, the food: There is no dish that is not drool-inducing material, every single ingredient is curated, always the freshest and you can have it all, from fusion to carbs to super healthy. The staff is always so welcoming, attentive to details. Their wine list is exhaustive and you can find some of the best wine labels there (their cellar is visible to everyone and is impressive).Now is not the time (August) but the terrace is so lush and green and its a whole vibe to be sitting there. Cant praise this restaurant enough ! Thank you !

Beautiful place with delicious food. Tried the chicken Parmesan dish along with fried calamari and the shrimp and spinach appetizers. We had beetroot salad with blue goat cheese. And enjoyed as well fried cauliflower with truffle oil.The food and service were on point. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home.I enjoyed the fried calamari and the dip sauce it came with. The shrimps were cooked to perfection and full of flavors.The salad was tasty specially the blue goat cheese. The Cauliflower with truffled oil was light and delicious.The chicken Parmesan was super moist and delicious. Enjoyed every bite of it. And with all that food it felt good and light and not heavy which is great for me. Definitely coming back.

Went for business lunch. Food was really amazing. Nice amount of seafood in the pasta. Just I wish either water or coffee/ tea was included in business lunch like some other restaurants.The reason I gave 3 star was because of the service. As they didn’t have name badge so couldn’t get their name, a lady from Africa with short hair who served us never had a smile as if she is not welcoming us. Same for a gentleman that we asked for check. No smile and he didn’t say any single words.It’s a shame for a nice restaurant with nice atmosphere to have this kind of service.

Quite clear that the food here is delicious. Unfortunately i did not get to try a lot of items. The starter (clams) was good for seafood lovers. Salmon was incredible. Ribeye steak was a typical steak not something unique. I recommend Green garden juice especially at lunch, very refreshing. Atmosphere was elegant. I felt that the server could have been more friendlier throughout the service not only at the tip time, especially that the resturant was almost empty.

Had a beautiful late dinner last Thursday night at La Cantine Du Faubourg, my finance and I had a few aperitifs at the bar that was well recommended by the bartender, we moved to on to our dinner where the food and ambience synchronized beautifully, I have forgotten the waitress name but she was amazing with her service and recommendations, we struggled to leave as the night went on because the music went up and lights went down, which brought a lot of fun-playful energy to the night, for cheeky after dinner drinks. Great job to the team & management for the re opening of La Cantine.

Brunch 105 is an all-time-fav! Amazing.....beyond 5 stars if you ask me :)The food, ambience, music, friendly crowd and awesome hosts/hostesses in cozy satin PJs make Saturday brunch 105 fun and worth it.The Rio Carnival brunch 19 was spectacular with the Brazilian dança do coco.

Genuinely one of the tastiest places in Dubai, amazing food and great atmosphere. Love the music from the DJ and the staff were fantastic. This place gets full so it is better to book ahead. I seriously cant repeat enough how good the food is here, every order of the menu tasted exquisite and I cant wait to go there again.

Dwain the manager, I believe you need to attend some classes in hospitality and how to deal with the customers.I been there with my wife for drink, it was very crowded, no space between the people and when we talked to manager she responded in a rude way, we ended up leaving the place.

We came here for a New Years day brunch. The food was good, our waitress Lana was very patient with us and explained the menu. The roaming live singers were great. There was an issue with our bill but it was remedied straight away by the manager Wesley which was appreciated.My only recommendation is better line management to ensure no one cuts in, even if they have a table/friends inside.

Truffles on everything! This place is good, expensive but good. We tried a lot of different dishes. The loss of the star is attributable to the tomahawk steak. The cook in the steak was not what was requested. We ordered medium rare and there was only one center strip where medium rare was achieved—the rest was overcooked.Highlights from the dinner were the Parmesan gnocchi (with truffles), the truffle pizza, the ceviche and the carpaccio. Everything was very well seasoned even the gnocchi. The mushrooms with the gnocchi were fabulous. I think I want some more gnocchi. For the desserts, the lemon tart and the warm chocolate mousse (reminiscent of lava cake) were my favorites of what we tried.The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and music was loud without being overbearing. The service was pretty good.

Whats all the hype about? Nothing wow about that place..You are welcome by 2 women, i assume one blonde was was french... not friendly at all.The minute you get in there is this smoking smell 🤢We ordered a lot of of food.... i was expecting better food but it was mediocre. Steak was over cooked, wanted it medium rare...tuna cevicce was too salty...Coquillette pasta of my kids were undercooked.The profiterole was good!👏🏼I must say that service was excellent.👏🏼Overall this is a place you go to if you want to be seen not if you want to eat well.There are a lot of other french restaurants in dubai better than this one...

Been this place to attend the Huda Boss Facebook Watch premiere and I met Huda and Mona Kattan. This place is very chic and beautiful. The cocktails, mocktails and canapes were outstanding. The staff here take care of very pleasant and super friendly and they are polite. Beautiful ambience creating and lovely decor. I met my greatest inspiration here HudA beauty kattan and Mona Kattan and many other well known personalities and stars.

Run every Saturday from 12pm-4pm, the cost of brunch with soft drinks starts at AED 250, which I found rather irresistible. A big fan of Dubai’s brunch culture, I had extremely high expectations for La Cantine du Faubourg. They managed to surprise right at the entrance, looking casually chic in silk pyjamas and perfect hair.“It’s wake up in Paris and celebrate”, explained my hostess while walking me to Room 3, a cheeky name for every in the house. A real queen size bed with luxurious cotton sheets and big fluffy pillows was set in the middle of La Cantine looking irresistible.In the best traditions of Parisian breakfast, a basket of freshly baked pastry was brought paired with a strong cup of coffee, butter and jams. While I enjoyed sipping coffee and studying the menu, the DJ at the bar started playing tunes. The place filled up steadily and by 1pm was filled with the air with cheers, giggles and happy conversations.When selecting dishes I focused on slightly complicated creations with ingredients hard to find in Dubai: tuna ceviche, cured meat, grilled octopus and salmon carpaccio. I had no doubt that the greatest culinary experience awaited me. Everything I tried was absolutely delightful with my favourite dish being an aubergine gratin with dark tomato sauce and a generous amount of parmesan.Around 3pm the music got a little louder, moving crowds closer to the bar and on to the charming terrace expected to be officially open soon. Freely flowing mocktails and cocktails kept the party going. I spotted a server in a kimono and dark sunglasses; I realized that the ambiance resembled the vibe from James Bond’s adventures. Happy to the tiptoes, I savoured my desserts and tried to memorize every second of that beautiful day.

We visited La Cantine on a Thursday evening and had a table booking for about 3 hours. The food was great, and the music and service was good.Our verdict: They’ve definitely got a few good dishes to try out. Its a bit confusing as it looks like a casual bar and lounge but with a fine dining menu. Give it a shot if you want to try something different and have a big enough budget (it is quite pricey) for a night out and definitely make a booking beforehand.We OrderedBurrata pizza with fresh black truffle: Crispy crust with fresh burrata and black truffle shavings which were not overpowering. This was a really good pizza and we really enjoyed it.Risotto with leeks and fresh truffle, pecorino, poached egg: One of the most interesting risottos we’ve tried. Great texture, along with a wholesome flavour of the leeks and the perfect hint of truffle. The poached egg was a brilliant addition to the dish.The Venue:We were given a table on the outdoor deck. The open space was nice, with the bar on one side and tables and comfy couch seating around the edges of the space and in the middle surrounding greenery. The interiors have a different vibe altogether with a bar on one end and beige lounge sofas with bright red pillows and long tables lined up on either side.The ServiceThe service was good. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming and the servers were prompt and jovial. They did seem to be a bit slow towards the end of our reservation, as by then the place had filled up considerably.

The management of this place is EMBARASSING. I don’t know how someone could hire people like this in a place like Dubai with so many hard working people. The reason I say this is is I have personally experienced getting charged twice for my order, once on a table I was supposed to get charged on and once on mine. Insane! And this is not the first time they have done this, they are known to screw people over in any way just so they can appear to be doing a good job when they are not. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, there are many beautiful, charming and lovely restaurants in Dubai, unfortunately this is not one of them.

Really cool place to spend your late evening! Fresh oysters were served at the bar as all tables were occupied. Good wine per glasses. Cool dancing music from DJ. One moment it became overcrowded but anyway you can be denied with entrance (FC/DC).

From the food to the music and ambience, La Cantine is definitely on top of the game.The service is excellent and the waiters are very friendly and professional, they will give you the best wine and food pairing recommendations to enhance your dining experience.I really recommend the white truffle parmesan gnocchi, are to die for!

I have been a regular for many years, and often bring my clients and guests here. While the food is still delicious I’m sorry to say the quality of service has really slipped. I had dinner there last night and the waitstaff were just plain uninterested in our table.Example, we were a table of 4, the bread basket was brought to 3 and before reaching the 4th he said he will just come back with a plate and did not return, 15 minutes later we had to ask for it (3 times).2. While we were still discussing the order our waiter walked just away like we were wasting his time.I have never felt this unwelcome in a fine dining establishment but still keeping this review 4 stars because the food is top notch but I really hope the service comes up to pre covid levels.

Ive never had a bad time here. The food is always on point, great staff and service and some of the best entertainment Ive seen in Dubai. Im not too crazy about boozy brunches that turn into out of control parties however their pyjama party brunch on Saturdays offers the best of both worlds with an amazing selection of food and drinks in a super chill atmosphere. Well done! Ill definitely be back.

After having a bit of a hit and miss brunch here and giving feedback that was very fair the manager of this restaurant was very rude in his response and actually edited the email when Jumeirah were included. The best they had to offer was for us to return and pay full price and receive the same service we should have received the first time. I have never experienced such attitude before. I cant believe Jumeirah are happy to have their name to this chain. I am so disappointed by this franchise.

Great place and versatile, lunch and dinner, indoor or outdoor, weekdays and weekends (Dubai wekends) a different place. A chic and classy place that does not serve only French cuisine but goes beyond following the cosmopolitan city Paris and takes you to travel (culinary) from a part to the other of the world and has an option for every mood you might be on and makes you more altruistic by the food sharing concept. A must visit place with his own personality and charisma.

Good brunch but don’t ever pay before you go or you’ll be treated like a second class passenger even if it’s early. Our friends left early and we all paid. We had to beg to be allowed to make a last order. And it was early. Really screwed up the experience.

It looks like people are sitting on children’s chairs.TO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!I worked 25 years in restaurants and hotels and never saw so many waiters in a restaurant and still got a bad service.Nobody came and poured more mineral water that we ordered and nobody asked how is the food. Red wine was little bit to warm in my opinion.I feel sorry for the chef, guests should be able to enjoy the food!
