Had a delayed flight and emirates gave us stay and meals. We had an option to go to Cho gao and one more restaurant. We were glad we went here. This is located in Dubai airport, good looking simple, expensive.

Had fantastic mixed dim sums, Szechuan rice and chicken with cashew nut. Loved the ambience and a must mention is the very courteous behavior of the member staffs (South Asian probably).

Cozy Oriental restaurant with a sports bar, good quality of food, good size really good service while you wait for your emirates flight just a bit pricey.

Honestly not good. Poor servers were running around - probably need more staff.My curry was hard and came without the veggies that it said it had on the menu. Go to Shake Shack. At least there’s consistency.

Left standing for ages just to buy/order food from their takeaway counter. Asked a member of staff who just walked off and never came back.Management: please add more staff and ensure they are not leaving customers standing around. There were 4 other people loitering with no service.

Good place to relax a bit and have your meal. Supportive staff and they are open for some customization of you need. They serve very good chilled beer so this is a must if you visit this place. In case you need a charging point, please select the table which are at the entrance.

Great service from Dovelyn at Dubai Airport . I was exhausted from my journey and she made me feel comfortable and looked after me . Food and drinks were delicious.

Hunger pangs in early morning so I came down from airport hotel. Service was superb as waitress also took 20% due to being a hotel guest. Salmon roll was good and Singapore noodles were fantastic. Will return in future.

Food was great...but not much options for kids...there is no kids menu...as my daughter is not eating chili or spicy food we requested to make spaghetti with white sauce...they made it but it was salt less and testless..other food was good

I love smoked salmon but Smoked Salmon sandwich here was terrible!The bread also were so bad.We also ordered Greek salad and Caesar salad. Both were 98% the same!Be away from this restaurant!

Outside of an airport Id give it 3 stars, but inside of an airport this place is great! Good drinks at reasonable prices. Food is a bit overpriced for the small portions. Good place to watch a game and get a drink while waiting for terminal A gates to open.

I sat for ages waiting to get served despite there only being a few other customers. I ended up having to yell for service. After that it was okay. Food wise, the dim sum were really nice, the beef randang not so as the meat was super dry and the rice just did not taste fresh at all.

Cheeseburger was unexpectedly excellent!! even when busy good turnover of tables so dont worry if none free when you start to queue.

Cho Gao is wonderful restaurant, we enjoyed lunch and will be back for Dinner as well.

The quality of the food is below any expectations. I ordered the green chicken curry and couldnt eat the chicken as it tasted very strong and old. I also ordered steamed shrimp dumplings and also the fish taste was too strong and not edible. I returned all of my food and still had to pay for it. Waste of time and money.

Worst Pad Thai of my life. Tasteless. Even the peanuts are tasteless. Had to ask for hoisin and soy sauce to make it palatable. Still bland. Also, I specifically asked for it to be mild and the female server somehow mistook that to mean spicy... Had to send it back. I also specified that I wanted limes with it and got lemons. The male server (Mark) who took over our table has been much more helpful and apologetic and is doing his best to rectify things. I was going to give 2 stars but hes been so nice I gave it an extra one but the food, at least the pad thai, is *terrible*

The food is great but the service isnt much, not all of them are friendly. No politeness. No smiles no thank you. When i greeted hello no reply because im an asian?when i said thank you still no reply. They need to be trained on customer service.

Our server was exceedingly dismissive and rude, and she got my order wrong... also proceeds to not apologise but suggest she got my order wrong because she “confirmed” it with me... manager was a waste of time... i do not recommend this unless they change their attitude

Nice decoration, good asian food with many option from different countries. Had squid calamari and vietnamese beef pho and they were good. Staff also very friendly.

At Dubai airport, where the A-gates are. Very few eating places there, all pricey. Had satay, which was good, despite being underspiced. The tiny lemony spicy salad served with it was excellent. Spring rolls were hot and crisp, but needlessly greasy. Service was good, quiet and understated. I liked it.Because the alternatives are even more expensive for less, Id recommend this as a candidate for a quick bite at Dubai airport if very hungry on a layover. If you carry trail mix, thats probably a better alternative than eating anywhere at Dubai airport.Addendum on 28th Dec 2018 -- Sorely regret giving it a passing grade before. Today was horrible. Had a 51 dirham cashew chicken that was very lacking in both quantity and quality. Had one single cashew piece. Not even warm. Even by airport standards this is a terrible ripoff.

Stuffed up my order. Omelet with shitaki mushrooms and bok choy ordered. plain omelet delivered. They took it back and took the missing ingredients from my wifes meal before returning to me. Meal was very boring. Wife liked hers though

Ordered a pad thai for take away. Anna the server handed me over my pad thai in a take away container without a plastic or a bag. She told me that they dont have a take away plastic to put my order so i should just carry it by hand. Considering that the food is hot, i told her its impossible for me to carry it with bare hands. She then went and looked for a bag. She came back after 2 mins saying she couldnt find one. I then told her that how could i carry it in a hot container without a plastic. It is the restaurants responsibility to provide a plastic for take away orders. She then left and came back with a duty free plastic bag and placed the pad thai upside down that the order will eventually spill. I dont want to waste my time telling her what to do so i approached Jerald, who claims he is the manager on duty. As i was explaining to him that they should be providing a plastic bag for take away, he, in a very rude and sarcastic way told me that i should have my own plastic bag to place my take away since iam an airport staff and i should know that. What on earth is he telling me? This is not the first time i ordered from their restaurant ang his explanation is not acceptable at all. He is never apologetic nor have given any inch of a better explanation. He even challenged me not to even come back and order on their restaurant.It is a shame having an employee like him as he never showed any decent customer service. The restaurant is at fault of not delivering the service the customer expects, he has no right to be sarcastic of the situation.

Staff were truly wonderful and accommodating. Couldnt have asked for better service and the Thai green curry was so authentic and delicious! Shisir is an absolute gem. If youre going to pay for overpriced airport food, this is the place to do it

The food is good, although if youre good, its a bit too small. I do not give all the stars because I had problems paying. Visa debit does not accept your system and if you pay in dollars the change (change) is in national currency.
