We were very disappointed with the experience. We went here for my birthday. The chef barely spoke. After some coaxing he shared a few words. The main show was in the last 10 minutes. The prices were exorbitant for what it ended up being. The food was good but hardly a teppanyaki experience. We may as well have eaten at a regular table.
Went in for a quick business lunch and opted for the noodles plus rice combo offered during lunch time on weekdays. The service is quick.Liked the fresh fish in the mini Chirashi but the sushi rice didnt add in taste..The main dish was the Miso Ramen noodles. The pork in it was delicious and the miso soup was a good carrier but the noodles should have been done better as was not able to eat them..The decor is subtle and in line with a Japanese place.
Miyako - probably my all time favorite since the time I got introduced to Japanese food. And being located at the Hyatt Regency in Dubai is an added perk I look forward to when dining there. The service has always been impeccable and the ingredients fresh. And the Teppanyaki experience is always a feast for the eyes prior to gratifying the stomach. #YUMMYINMYTUMMY 😁
Excellent food and service. Very quality/price
To someone who hasn’t been to the hotel for last 1 year the traffic situation is chaotic and lot of diversions , keep a close eye for hyatt regency signs or you would have to take a massive detour. All due to palm deira connection roads being built and construction in area.Great Gyoza and the chicken teriyaki platter and pretty amazing sushi , and really really caring staff , took care of my seafood allergy note and suggested food accordingly.Would visit very soon again.
Superb tapanyaki yet very pricey. Seafood and meat portions were expertly cooked and atomoshere was nice.
Great sushi and staff! The value for money is there, where the quality of the product and the standard is totally noticeable.I’ve been a few times and will come back. It’s a nice little Japanese traditional style restaurant, that doesn’t fail.Highly recommended 🙏
Over rated..seafood and fish with the same sauce , scallop over cooked, and not cheap. Service good.
Great cooks, waitresses, and waiters. This place beats all the others here at the Hyatt Regency Dubai. My tip is the spicey seafood soup. So hearty and flavorful. Staff, impeccable. Couple next to us having hibachi. Nice people,Fun being here.Thank you all for a wonderful evening. Once again, out waitresses is fabulous.
Visited on a Saturday evening with a friend and OH what a delight!Decent number of guests but not crowded. We were immediately greeted by Eugina with a warm smile and seated at our choice of spot. Pleasing my limited understanding but eager appetite, she guided us through the menu. The service was quick and food was a relish in the warm ambience of the restaurant. The severs made sure we enjoyed the food and wine throughout the evening.Props to Elina for recommending tea ice-cream. That really made our dinner a happily-ever-after.Domo Arigatogozaimasu..!
We came for teppanyaki and we had it.We took set menu and we were not disappointed. When it came to dessert I wanted to taste 2 ice cream scoops and I was told sorry Sir, but 1 only. This is not commercial at all.Anyway food was good.
Great food. Great service. All the crew helpful. Bit pricey for some items.s o the .enu. for example : takoyaki 7 pieces each 10 AED ( 3 times usual price). Non alcoholic drinks bit expensive ( al.ost 40 AED). Other than that all good
Excellent food. Sushi quality was amazing. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Ive been looking for something unique, not just to eat and leave, so i stumble upon live cooking and i love japanese cuisines. Miyako is the place to be. It was indeed a great experienced, good ambience, and service is i also customized the sushi and Sake which they recommend is definitely must-try! amazing
Food taste good with friendly service team.🤩
I imagine that this place is underrated. Sure, compared to the rest of Dubai it first feels like you’ve stepped back in time, but the staff were great, and the food was surprisingly really good. I would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area, but won’t drive all the way out.
Very decent quality resto. Worth coming here even if it is only for the magnificent noodle soups they have
Nice teppenyaki tables with private room.. krishna the chef was very warm and food was also nice. Need to drive all the way out there , but out of the city hustle.. peace ful and quiet ambience.
Great food n service
Classic Japanese sushi. Loved it
Good food combined with great service , although the staff has changed but the spirit hasnt and it still is the best authentic and one of the oldest japanese restaurant in dubai. Have been there so many times but cant recall if I was disappointed on any occasion. Keep it up!
The best Japanese cuisine in Dubai
Absolutely fantastic food, margaritas and service!!!
Nice and beautiful place with tasty food
Lovely! Lucky us we went there at about 2.30pm and there wasnt a crowd of customers. Great food, professional staff, amazing interior design. We used entertainer and the price we paid was perfect for such a 5 star place. Id definitely visit it again. Especially because all staff were very good with my baby and they talked to her 🙈 recommended !!!
Sushi rolls were of an average quality.
Definitely the best Japanese Resturant in Dubai have been coming here over 15years only keeps getting better out standing restaurant on the higher end but as anything you pay for what you get. Highly recommended will definitely enjoy and want more.
Great Japanese food and ambiance. Customer service is top notch and food presentation is superb. We visit Dubai every year and will definitely go back to this restaurant.
Most welcome.
Very nice delicious food. If you can be able to reserve a room, you can also enjoy authentic Japanese atmosphere. Service was also very fast and very nice. Highly recommended.
Everything was great. Ms. Kris provided excellent service. Thank you ☺
TWO THUMBS UP FOR THIS RESTAURANT!! the food was scrumptious! my brother & I ordered: buta kimchi, buta shiogayaki and champon and we enjoyed and savored every last bit of it. The food were perfectly seasoned and the meat was so tender. The matcha ice cream was so smooth and creamy. Aside from the food, the staff were superb. The service was so fast and the crew was really friendly and welcomed us with all smiles. Special mention to Ms Gina the manager & Elina who were really accomodating and made sure that we enjoyed our first time experience at Miyako.. will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Great food and good ambiance.

One of the great Japanese food restaurants in Dubai, very nice service staff is helpful, like to visit again
Nice staff
Satisfied! Design is amazing and food is delicious!! You will not regret;)
The worst I’ve ever had. Value for money is very low. Sushi is double as any where else with o better engridients. We got also teppanyaki, so we sat in front of kitchen and were able to observe the whole thing —> red marks for hygiene and cleanliness. Noodle Soup was very hot and no taste at all. In general very expensive and very bad experience.
Took my wife out for our wedding anniversary in this place and had such a wonderful evening.
The place was nice and clean service was outstanding and everyone was friendly
They offer drinks some of them are expensive for me and i dont drink
Not happy as i was expecting,
Tasty food but some smell of cigarettes
Authentic excellent japanese cuisine set in a cosy relaxing atmosphere .Great service .Recommended ! 👍

Unexpectedly good for restaurant in the hotel. Very good native Japanese kitchen
Always smiling and energetic staff.
Tastiest and truthful Japanese restaurant in Dubai 🙏🏻
One of my favorite sushi restaurants.
No good, very slow in serving.Hotpot is really bad tasting, basically just water boiled vegs.Gosh, wont ever recommend it to anyone I know
Delicious food and delicious eggrolls and good service except when they run out of the eggs to make the egg rolls after i ate them all.
Amagazing service they had
Hidden gem
Good food but expensive
Great food
Authentic Japanese dish here

Great Food !
Fantastic 5 star food!!!
Awesome Japanese food
Bad
Excellent
I didnt think I could eat soba when I came to Dubai. Is it dried noodles? .. .. It was cold with the air conditioner, so I got warm soba noodles. It was soba noodles like instant noodles. It was wavyIt became such an expression.I didnt have enough, so I told him to share the beef bowl with my husband, and he politely put each in a bowl and added miso soup and pickles. How was the taste? He politely asked me to lower the vessel each time. All the seasonings are light, and I think they are gentle and easy to get used to. The price is high for the quality of the food, but I think it is the purchase price. Looking at the menu ... I thought I wouldnt use it anymore. 😊
Wonderful and special place
Incredible menus worthy of a 5 star restaurant, impressive quantity and excellent value for money. Beautiful setting too. The Entertainer coupon also works, only happiness.Note however that we took an orange juice with it: too acidic and it cost almost half the price of the menu. Suddenly, juice to be avoided, apart from that its magnificent.
Eat your bento! Its over!
Excellent
