Amazing but little hidden place. I was there in the evening and it was quite busy but dont worry they have upstairs and garden sitting available too. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very yummy I have tried lemonade and sushi selection and a dessert the rice cake the green one was TOP yummy delicious. I will definitely come back for more and will try ramen next time. Bentoya kitchen is a place you must visit to experience authentic japanese cuisine in dubai.Being located at DIFC, this hidden gem have been serving scrumptious & authentic japanese dishes in dubai since 1997.Their menu is wide and includes varieties of salads,sushi rolls,gyoza,ramen,rice bowls and much more.We recommend you try their crunchy tuna roll,avocado ebi tempura,ebi gyoza,spicy seafood salad,Tofu nuggets sushi,salmon teriyaki etc.I cant point out as one dish because everything was too good including their fresh and refreshing drinks.I was blown away with the authenticity of the food and ambiance.Fresh ingredients,generous portioning and delicious food.Expect good service too.Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Paitan ramen (spicy) was amazing especially the broth would have loved chewier noodles but omg it was so good...like the ten chilli roll (prawn tempura with sweet chill) and liked the ebi gyoza wasnt a big fan of the spicy tuna. Service was good!

Bento-Yas consistency is what keeps me coming back! I have led all my friends and Dubai residents into trying it and then becoming recurring customers. Their salmon sashimi never fails to amaze me; with the most generous cut in Dubai, each piece brings flavorful pleasure to your taste buds and melts seamlessly in your mouth. I added pictures of some of my 2 favorite appetizers (the sushi and sashimi were gone before I got the chance to even take one shot!) as I always go for the ebomayoyaki (ask for extra sauce) for sharing, and the mini tantanmen soup (skip the minced beef as the seafood mix is just perfect). I then go for a variety of pieces, ranging from the reverse makis (try those with lettuce, refreshing!) to the custom-made philadelphia maki (I ask the chef to replace the crab stick on the inside with salmon pieces and add extra cream cheese).

Their Seafood ramen, beef karubi and maki are to die for .. affordable authentic Japanese food at its best in Dubai , definitely a must try when you’re having a tongue for some Japanese goodies . Everything were excellent from food, drinks and staffs! They were all very welcoming and polite especially Mark! Good job! I’ll surely come back!❤️

Ok, I think I will go back and eat some more at some point. They have good lunch menu.

Usually, I don’t give 5 stars but this restaurant deserve every single star. They don’t have fancy restaurant with nice decoration and view but the food quality is the best in Dubai . Everything is good from ramen to sushi sashimi , teriyaki . No specific dish to advice as they are all good . Their prices are fair but justified .

Absolutely enjoyed this bento Japanese experience!The almost hidden seating area after taking the little stairs on the side of the restaurant takes me back to Dotunburi, Osaka - most restaurants there are tucked in alleyways and seatings on the top floor completely hidden from all the bustling buildings - this gave me the same feeling!I recommend their Tsukune, it was glazed with this mouthwatering sauce and the consistency of the meat was perfect!The team here was lovely too! Thank you for an amazing experience looking forward to going back!

This is a great Japanese Restaurant. Wide menu choices from Miso Soups to Prawn Tempura and so many sushi options. It’s casual family dining style, great service and nice portions. Really like to dine here and relax.

Very good and authentic Japanese food. It is halal so you can´t find some dishes or traditional flavors however it is really good. We enjoy sushi, ramen, and other dishes. Service was very good, and the prices are reasonable.

Always a go to place. Easy and casual Japanese dining. Not too expensive and has good sushi and other Japanese menu items. They have a new outdoor seating now too which is great but also there is indoor seating upstairs, very quiet and private.Fresh juices are so good. But other food items are also really worth trying. Easy to get to and plenty of parking space around.

Wherever you go, Bentoya ‘s lunch box has good volume to fill in your stomach! Tried sashimi bento box this time which tasted exquisite. However tuna smelled not so much fresh, which I hope next time will be improved!

I make it a point to get the ramen here everytime I am in Dubai. I have not had any better in the UAE so far. Get the Tantanmem with some veggie fried rice. Sooooo good!!!!

Nice Japanese restaurant with a full menu of Japanese dishes. Including some Okonomiyaki. The interior looks a bit dated, but service is friendly, parking is surprisingly easy given the location just off Sheikh Zayed Road.

Excellent food, at reasonable price - usual Dubai Rules apply - stay off the fancy sugary drinks and your bill is so much less, and your diabetes so much less LIKELY !Service was good, and its a basic interior, but adequately clean - could do with a deep clean to be honest, and I hope the kitchens are shinier than the seating area......Good parking and access from the metro with s short walk.

W O W. Let me start by saying this is not a fancy place. But, I promise what they lack in decoration, they make up for in quality and taste and incredible value. Its a small neighborhood restaurant. Seating area is for around 20 people and its a bit aged. But the service is friendly and very fast and the food is fantastic. We ordered a bit of everything, from sushi to ramen and main courses and everything tasted fantastic. A definite must try, I promise you will not be disappointed

This is casual Japanese restaurant and in my opinion one of the best in Dubai that I have been frequenting for years and it will be tough to beat at the price point. They indoor seating and during the winter outdoor as well. They have a very wide range of menu items including sushi, sashimi, Bento box, noodle bowls and Dons. All the food is fresh and of very high quality and is served very hot. In addition, they also have a huge range of drinks on offer too.As to service, they are very fast indeed and the waiting staff are very friendly and willing to help. On top of all this it is very reasonable priced, I would go as far as to say the price is quite cheap considering the quality of the food you are eating.The decor of the restaurant itself is quite basic but I dont think one should expect much more. It is clean and functional.

Food was good and well priced. Spent close to 130 AED for 4 dishes. Good selection of Japanese food from starters to dessert. Have both indoor and outdoor sitting. Indoor sitting keeps you warm which is perfect for winter. Will return to try other dishes next time.

I havent eaten at Bento-ya since I relocated from Dubai to Australia. However, I returned in 2019, and the food was immaculate. I will definitely visit again soon, when we can travel again!! Hope all the Bento-ya staff/crew are doing well! 5 stars all round. I love Bento-ya!

Bentoya Restaurant is a simple restaurant with minimal decoration whatever the story is different from the food it is really delicious and great value for money. If you are just looking for a simple Japanese meal, this place is one of the best restaurants that offer authentic Japanese food.

This once staple of Dubai’s Asian Cuisine has some of the City’s finest Ramen bowls and traditional Asian dishes. They have a long and delicious looking list of dishes to choose from and can be marked as one of Dubai’s best Ramen’s. The staff is nice and friendly and are helpful but I would hope for them to be a bit more cheerful and happy to help even if not asked, although I understand that people who go to Bento-ya already know what to order as they are long-time customers. Mr. Alvin is the funniest & nicest ever!!!!!!

Food is consistently good, however was terribly shocked to discovered we paid 18 AED for delivery & salik charges. Will never be ordering for delivery again.

OMG, Ive finally found the best sushi place in Dubai. The food was terrific! Portions were big enough and the price was great as well. However, we only tried tempura and sushi which were top notch. My hubby and I will be coming back to try other lovely Japanese dishes soon. 5 out of 5. Lovely service as well!

This hidden gem has fresh sashimi, the best homemade tofu (yes they make it themselves), wagyu that melt in your mouth (trust me I went after dental procedures), and amazing matcha ice cream from Japan. For the price in Dubai, its unbelievable. Plus a delightful staff, and beautiful outdoor dining area. 5 stars all-around.

Come here for the Ramen ! It’s genuinely good , broth is flavorful , the noodles taste amazing and they offer a wide variety of flavors.I got the chicken ramen , it was rich and the chicken was nice. They also offer a wide array of Japanese dishes from sushi to dunbori bowls.The staff are nice friendly and knowledgeable. And the prices are great for what is served.You have to park in the street though which make it a bit tricky during busy hours.

Bentoya is my favorite Japanese restaurant whenever I come to Dubai. This restaurant incorporates all the nice things that Japanese culture represents, not only the food itself, but also the ambience. The food is always fresh and delicate and is presented elegantly with all the Japanese nuanced sensitivities. Their desert collections are exceptional as well! The waitresses who seem to be mostly Filipinas are very polite and are happily attentive to customers need, especially the restaurant manager Mitch was a very attractive Filipina lady who knows how to treat her customers. My chief of staff and I came to the restaurant again today after about two years, we find the restaurant expanded a bit and renovated beautifully; while we noticed some change of staff, we enjoyed the lunch and desert very much as usual. We will definitely be back again, during our stay in Dubai.

Salmon and tuna sashimi were good but the tan tan men ramen was terrible!

Gekikara rahman is delicious. The sashimi didnt seem very fresh though.

It is the best RAMEN place in UAE. Ramen is done as it is in Japan and the sashimi is freshest as well .service team has served promptly. I highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Delicious high quality sushi for delivery orders or eat in at a good value. Takes about 15 minutes to make and sushi is fresh and made to order. Busy popular place with a wide range of sushi and noodles. I favor the Avo and Salmon, Unagi and the Ten (Sweet) Chili roll which is actually one of the cheapest on the menu and tastiest. Cant go wrong with whatever you order.

Casual Japanese restaurant with authentic Japanese food. I like their bowls better than their sushi and the zaru zoba (cold buckwheat noodles) is also nice. There’s an affiliated Japanese grocery store, Gourmet-Ya, next door, which is where I go to stock up on ice cream mochi 😋

Since then, Bento-Ya was an excellent authentic Japanese restaurant and is still keeping up their quality of food and service.Bentoya does not just offer the fashionable Sushi/Sashimi but a big variety of Soba, Bentoya and different starters.The new terrace make Bentoya just more cool.

Fishy smell as soon as you walk in the place. The Nori was chewy in the rolls. The miso soup was funky smelling. Beef Don bowl and the gyuza was good.

A restaurant worth becoming my daily to go eatery! I love their tan shio don (beef tongue). And although they don’t promote but some of their ramen and don can have mini size instead of the regular ones.

This is my kitchen in Dubai, I make a point of order Nikujaga yakizakana Teishoku for most occasions when I visit here, which is listed only in Japanese language. Thats my recommendation.By the way do you know they have Higawari Delivery which you need to purchase a set of 11 vouchers at 400 AED? Higawari means daily differnt kinds of Bento box in Japanese language. The picture below is one example. It accompanies miso soup and one drink. This is my daily diet when Im at the office.Hope you enjoy the dishes.
