Kind of a fast food chain standard of a service yet in a very well known location at a fine dinning restaurant. There was literally no sense of time in terms of the gaps which are required in serving the food. We were asked 3 times right after our main course if we want to order the dessert , when we just informed them that we need a while to decide. We haven’t even finished the food in our plate that a member of staff was trying to take our plate…. I did not understand the rush as the place wasn’t full and there were plenty of empty tables.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Overall:Food is great, service not so much.

We visited Bussola for La Tavolata which is a lazy Saturday brunch style, and loved our experience. You can enjoy flowing drinks, appetizers, mains, and desserts from 2:00 to 5:00 PM (which I highly recommend). Their outdoor seating is beautiful and shaded (so you don’t feel so toasty). Their servers are extremely attentive and friendly, especially Antony. The white wine included in the package is light and refreshing. The food was good, not the best Italian food in Dubai, but it was still tasty. We loved the pastas and the desserts. Looking forward to visiting again!

Beautiful place! But I really feel that the food is not worth it, I mean it’s ok but for the price I would kind of expect a delightful experience… and it didn’t feel like that… Beautiful presentation of the plates though.

Great experience, friendly and welcoming staff. We went for a drink during happy hour on the terrace/lounge and it was a beautiful scenery with lovely lounge music. We then had a pizza upstairs in the pizzeria and it was delicious, they had a wide selection of nice wines too. Upstairs is a more casual vibe. Afterwards we then walked to the beach bar and had an amazing cocktail overlooking the palm. Total experience was so nice, I’d 100% recommend

Ambience is superb and the pasta was really nice. I had the wheat durum pasta for the fusilloni, bufala affumicata, melanzane e basilico. Price was reasonable and the service was top notch. Will definitely go back for the pizza as I was full when I finished the pasta.

The food is simply excellent. The pizza and burratta were divine. On the the pricey side.The service was alright, nothing to brag about but improved through the evening. Not much warm hospitality or connection but okay.The location is pretty good with view on both the marina/jbr high towers and the palm waters.

They did and the food was very nice. The service was even better! So many people helped and checked on us it was hard to tell who was our actual server. Nice ambiance, there is outdoor seating but we chose to stay inside because we have our daughter and didn’t want to expose her to the smoke. My husband started with a salad, I had vegetable soup and we shared a seafood dish!

I had a very pleasant lunch at Bussola. They have a nice terrace, and their staff are attentive. My friends and I shared Fussili with smoked mozarella & eggplant. The pasta was cooked perfect al dente, and the smoked mozarella gave a nice touch to this simple, yet very well prepared dish. For main course we had 1.2kg seabass which was baked to perfection. In addition to thinly sliced & crisply baked potato, they serve the seabss with two side dishes of choice. We had asparagus and creamy spinach. The fish was very fresh, and asparagus crunch. Every dish was very delicious!

Very very average food at the Pizzeria at the top. Nothing wrong with the food, but nothing great either. Only good dish was the Tiramisu. Not helped by the fact that its quite over priced. Will probably not come back again simply because there are plenty of good Italian restaurants in Dubai where I would enjoy the good better.

Ordered gnocchi which I found bland, carpaccio had too much mayo , my first time to have carpaccio w mayo not my fav. Also place is pretentious & boring. The service is good, the design is very nice thank goodness to distract from other stuff

We visit the pizzeria often. The pizza is fantastic, the venue is great specially in cooler months.(although there is a covered indoor area and it’s just as good). The service is quick and the staff attentive. Thank you to Shanthi who has assisted us many times particularly with different pizza choices that were not on menu and was so patient to deliver just as we liked them.

Came for the 2nd time visit in this cosy lovely place called bussola. We have a good food for our dinner and some few drinks and a very good view from the outside. Will be back again in this place and becuase of that i want to mention angie for taking good care of us she is an amazing host thank you for the day..

The ambience is excellent. The service is good. The food...well...not too convinced. The bruschetta was not fun at all. Just toasted bread and cut tomatoes. Even the bread served at the table was cold which isnt something youd expect from a fine dining experience. The taglialoni was very creamy and lacked any kind of flavour apart from salt, butter and cheese. The mushroom truffles were few and far between. The chicken dish was good and so was the tuna dish. The potatoes in the chicken dish were fantastic. All in all, I am a big fan of Italian food and this did not make the cut.Another thing I had heard about is the pizzas but for that you have to sit on another level but what I was told on the phone is that the entire menu is available downstairs. But you dont get the pizza dishes which doesnt make sense especially at times like this when you are better of consolidating. Might check the pizza some other time but certainly not in a hurry.

It is really difficult in this day and age to have a bad experience in a fine dining restaurant in Dubai. I guess I was the unlucky one.We had ordered Filetto Rossini and description on the menu sounded tasty and delicious until we got the steaks on the table. To our surprise, the knives were not sharp to cut any steak, and after requests to change the knives and 7 knives later, they could not find us a knife that could cut the steak, and we ended up with eating shredded and destroyed steak, and ate pulled beef instead!! The waiters could not do much or say much except reassuring us that the management has been looking into this matter for some time now and will change the knives in the coming days. Clearly, they were not really bothered or concerned about our experience!The waiters constantly came and asked how was the food, avoiding to attend to the real issue at hand. I told them we are here for the experience and not just the food. The manager failed to come forward to handle the situation at this stage.Long story short, and at the end where everything was over and we were waiting for our desserts, I asked for the manager, and he finally came to our table. When I shared my experience with him, he apologised and once more reassured us that they will look into the matter and change the knives soon so other customers wont have our experience. Again, like the waiters, he did not seem too concerned nor bothered about our experience, and worried about future customer.Later, and when we asked for the bill, he had removed the dessert from the bill and took it on the house. He also offered tea or coffee, and it would be on the house! At this stage, we just wanted to leave the restaurant, and did not want to spend more time there.What I do not understand is the following:1. Why should the restaurant not be concerned about our experience, and only think about future customers?2. Why did he remove the desserts from the bill, where he should have removed the steaks? After all, we did not have any issue with the desert. Yes, we had finished the steak, or should I say pulled beef, with an unforgettable and regrettable experience.

A top class destination in one of the great hotels of Dubai. A very nice selection of Italian cuisine mixed with international flavors. Good portions as well from the starters to the desserts.The atmosphere is also nice as you feel to be in a resort, which is exactly the place. A nice service to follow, not very intruding, but making sure you are taken care of.I would recommend this place for a business lunch or maybe on the weekend during the day. Definitely coming back!

Was downstairs at the fine dining part and enjoyed a nice two course dinner. Nothing to complain about as for vibe, service or food but nothing to write home about either.

This place is really cool both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor view is pretty amazing overseeing the Dubai Marina and the Palm. The drinks and food menus are dominantally Italian but they do have some other selection as well. The prices are above Dubai average. I had the Lamb Rack, the portion is good but it was undercooked to what I asked for and it was fattier than normal.

Was there with colleagues at the pizzeria. We had a limited menu but the Pizza and seafood basket appetizer was great.

Great place. I like the lounge side, perfect for smoking a cigar. The service is excellent. Karthik and Sachin are the best. They are so professional and they help you if you forget your cigar accessories. The food is also good.

One star because of Portia Louises attitude, very disappointing and irrespectful. We gently asked her to clean our seats but she didnt want to do it and she didnt care seeing us then cleaning the seats. Our seats were dirty and we had to clean it by ourselves.She also gave us the cutlery in a disrespectful way.Otherwise food is not bad and other colleagues are corrects.It used to be a better place as you can see in my previous review :El lugar es muy lindo, espacio abierto, parece una cabaña al aire libre muy lindo, un ambiente acogedor, a pocos pasos de la playa privada, la atención muy cordial por parte del personal y la comida es excelente.

Exquisite Italian culinary experience. This is how Ill describe it because every penny you spend is worth it. The ingredients they use are exceptionally good, they have a great wine and beer selection and we cant forget to mention how beautiful the view is there. Perfect for a date :)

Good food, went to the top floor as they serve pizza and I was on a pizza trip.Service was quick and staff was nice. Was overwhelmed with the overall service, ambience and food.But did not liked the way they treated pasta, they kept it downstairs only and pasta is not allowed upstairs come on guys.Would love to visit again with or without pasta.

Its a wonderful location and the food is really fantastic!!! I had dinner with friends based on seafood and it was really wow!

Really amazing place, really great ambiance and the staff were very friendly.Really good food, the appetizers were amazing, i tried the pizza previously was amazing.I tried the rack of lamb this time but it was really ok and if it was based on only that 1 food i would give it a 3 star, but I had try the crusted beef fillet and it was amazing and based on the overall experience I decided to give it a 5 star.

Service was not up to the usual standard. Should get better staff. Food was not as tasty as previous experience. For any reason, covid slow business or during Ramadan, it is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel

Nice ocean view and good atmosphere are nice combination and on top of it exquisite Italian dishes are served. Cannot ask for more. Risotto tastes superb. Good to indulge under sunshine.

We loved this place. It’s on the first floor and the whole restaurant is a large terrace with beautiful sea views. The food is mainly pizza and pasta but very very high quality. The service is fantastic. It’s a great place to come with the family and for a relaxed enjoyable meal. Defiantly worth a visit!

The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is superb. Always repeat when in Dubai. Our last waiter - Mr. Prem Tamang - was incredibly nice and efficient, top notch gentleman.

Perfectly located with a 360 view on the Dubai shoreline, Bussola serves a delicious and refined Italian cuisine. Prices are not cheap but good value for money as premium quality products. Excellent pizza with original toppings and many others Italian classics.

Sitting outside was wonderful - the seating comfortable, the ambience very intimate, and the staff friendly and helpful. Top that off with an exquisite negroni and it was a pretty much a perfect evening. If it werent for the bizarre rule of not serving pizza downstairs this would have been a very easy perfect score. Its an Italian restaurant, I can only imagine how many guests are left as confused as me with this.

The best pizzas in Dubai in my (non Italian) opinion...The menu is varied with different kind of pizzas from traditional recipes to original creations, all cooked in a wood fired oven.There is a great selection of wine and cocktails along with a nice view over the beach and the Palm Jumeirah.The place gets busy so book a day or two in advance!

First visit was really good. Second visit was not so good. Bar staff were not helpful and kept missing our drinks order.Food was ok but I had the lamb and it wasn’t cooked correctly. I had food poisoning and was unwell for 4 days.It’s a really good Italian but I think on this occasion they must have been too busy and someone made a mistake.Overall aside from this visit it is usually very good.

One of my personal favourites. Freshly made pasta everyday is an unmissable treat and the pizzas are incredible. Great for a work meeting or a break by the pool if youre sunbathing. Another regular I come back to.

Seafood salad... Or squid salad? Very disappointing. Could not even eat more than a few bites. Had lunch here. Staff gets 5 stars. Food gets 1. Pizza average... But should be excellent for these prices. Seafood salad was absolutely horrible. Ambience is good. Pork is available. Corona is available.

The food just ok, we didnt like salads we ordered, sea bass was very good. Nice location and service. But wouldnt recommend.
