The 2 stars is for the staff (who they are 5 / 5 ) but the manager and food is what makes me unable to think to rate as average or any better. The singature pasta cooked in cheese had no taste. Weve informed our waiter and then the manager came to tell us off. He disagreed that the pasta is tasteless since he has checked with the chef, and came back to argue with me rather than suggesting to make it better... The veal and antipasti eggplant dish also where not at the level of other restaurants and the pasta definitely can be compared or is ranked lower than the same dish in a food court. Atmosphere and staff are simply AMAZING. They need to train the manager to match the hospitality of the other staff and try to add more flavour to the dishes.

The great service and honest recommendations by the staff were definitely the highlight. Food was good but wasn’t enough to make up for the lack of ambience; the place felt too small and claustrophobic. For food I tried the Burrata and calamari to start and the Fettucine Bolognese for the mains.

A Hidden Gem! Great Place for Dinner & Exceptional Service!We had a lovely dinner at ll Pastaio Dubai! The charcuterie board was full of quality local meats, the pasta was tasty and saucy, It did not disappoint! We sat outside the Patio, the surroundings were intimate especially in this lovely winter nights! Great atmosphere, music choice was great I must say.Service wise? Fantastic! It was as if the waiter could guess what we were thinking and he was attentive with whatever we needed. We tried some really good wine by the glass, which is what I look for in a wine bar.Good job, ll Pastaio Dubai! I would definitely recommend!

Beverly Hills’ iconic neighborhood trattoria arrives in Dubai as the latest addition to the Italian restaurant scenery in Dubai. Charming and elegant decor and ambiance. Food is good with room for improvement. What I liked is that the restaurant was very willing to listen to our comments. In fact, the chef himself came out and listened to us and explained some of the remarks we had on the dishes. Something which is not usually done with Dubai restaurants. Service was very friendly and attentive. Outstanding dishes beef carpaccio and tuna carpaccio.

The service was amazing, and the food was even better. The burrata melted in my mouth with the most flavors ive ever had in one, and lets not talk about their amazing truffle pasta. The pasta was honestly the best ive personally ever had and it was beatifully presented in front of me in a huge wheel of parmiggiano basked in the parmiggiano juices. 10/10 for me

They brought a show to my table when i clearly didnt ask for it literally ripped me off standing by when i asked it was no problem but the young man comes out of nowhere perform a show i didnt ask for and then dares it yet to be charged dear people dont go to this restaurant they rip you off without realizing it and enjoyed that by my own country!

I rated this restaurant 5 stars at first, but after what happened today, they don’t even deserve a single star.I wanted to come into the restaurant alone at first, but after a call with some friends, they decided they wanted to join. I called the restaurant to ask if that was possible, and they said they were available.We went into the restaurant and ordered. After 1 hour of not receiving anything. The waiter comes and tells us that the gas is not working at the restaurant and they will not be able to serve our appetizers.At that point, my friends and I are really hungry so we decide it’s okay. After a few more minutes, the waiter comes back and tells us that they can’t even serve us the main course dishes. We noticed that the table next to us had food eventhough they arrived approximately 30 minutes after us. We mention that to the waiter and he says “guys, be gentlemen, they’re ladies”. After I heard that statement, I left the restaurant immediately. My friends continued to argue, but we will never get back that time that we not just wasted, but had a terrible experience in.Honestly, if a restaurant is going to be this sexist and treat its customers unfairly. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone anymore.

Excellent and relaxed fine dining environment.I loved the interior colors and ambience.I ordered the business lunch and to be fair it was a great deal.Food was served fast and it was delicious.Carpaccio di Bue - simple, great presentation and bold flavors.Tagliolini ai moscardini - Fresh pasta is their forte , it was a great dish, a must try.tiramisu - rich and creamy, sweet enough.Service is friendly and attentive.I will be definitely back to experience dinner.Thanks a lot, 5 stars recommendation.

We went as part of the Platinum show & dinner package. The show was 5* but his dinner experience was 0*. I agree with Carloss review below. The food was one of the worst Italian meals I have had in 16 years in Dubai. As Carlos said, the manager was ignorant and rude, gave the impression he was looking down on us. The waiter tried his best but not his fault with the food quality. I would avoid it if you are considering this as we did as a show package. City Grill is much better with food and service combined. The complementary lounge hot snacks was much better than this restaurant. That says a lot.

Very nice and beautiful Italian restaurant, really loved the terrace. The pasta was top notch (I am Italian) had the amazing pappardelle.Special mention to Angelica she is amazing and super funny top level service!

Charming and authentic place with great vibe and positive personality. The location is perfect as well as the Direct access to the restaurant. Food has a touch of home. It feels real and authentic. Service was perfect (not common after 1 day from opening). Loved the terrace. I was positively surprised with the over all experience.

Clueless how those other negative reviews managed any situation explained. We love Italien food, experienced massiv of it in Italy and can ensure that the food is authentic and delicious. But next to the god food and drinks, we want to send a special thank you to Angelique. She serviced us on an extra ordinary level which lets you feel like coming home! Our waiter was very nice however the food is perhaps the worst Italian we have had in Dubai in 15 years .We have been in the one in Beverly hills on numerous occasions and it doesnt come even close to it.Will definitely not come again.
