I always love the Fish tawa from Calicut notebook. Incase if I am in Deira on a lunch time Calicut notebook is my preference. And in the old days they had Pazhassi murukku which was a kind of unique starters which I seen only here.

We had biriyani and meals.I couldnt take the shots of meals.I had biriyani. Its good and better version of Kozhikode biriyani.small rice and 2,3 small pieces of fleshy masala topped chicken.Rice is some what oilly, but not discarded the love to biriyanis.Side dishes are dates pickles,mango pickles,viniger mixed onion salad,curd mixed onion salad,Pappad,coconut dry chutney.Good place to have some good time. And its not a place to sit for a long time.because its moderately rush. Time to deliver the food is less than 4 minutes .

A popular place in the area. Went for a quick lunch with friends...+ Ample RTA parking all around.+ Large seating area, so waiting to get a free tabel should not be a problem.+ Very quick service and helpful staff.+ Ordered some vegetarian dishes and parotas. It was good, nothing very special.- Due to covid-19 situation, alternate tables are not used so there is waiting time of about 15-20 mins during peak hours of lunch or maybe dinner as well.- Though the washroom/ handwashing area is well kept but Hygeine can be improved a lot, especially during these difficult times. Please look into this @Calicut Notebook team.- Please inform the staff if you dont like high black pepper quantity in your dish.

Average Restaurant in Dubai. They was good, but now they are not care for neatness. Customer care also going back. If try to come up good for them (not for customers) otherwise business of them will lost, peoples have to choose another place.

Its a comfortable eating place for both vegetarian and nonvegetarian crowd. Dishes are really tasty. I belong to Calicut and say proudly that when I dine from here I feel like am in my city.

Food is really delicious and the place is kept neat. Hand-wash and washrooms are also kept neat. This place offers a wide range of South Indian food items and is great place to go with family. Only issue Ive faced personally is with the starters. Either they forget to give u the starters or they give it after the main course, which is a bit disappointing. Otherwise full 5 stars.

Calicut notebook is located at a convenient place near Muraqqabat. We used to go there for lunch which is served as delicious sadya in banna leaves with many traiditonal kerala food items. Limited parking in front side is one issue though theres parking available for restaurant nearby.

A year ago I had Onam Sadhya from Calicut Notebook however was late to the party but Mr Suresh made sure that I am not dejected and arranged for Sadhya about a week later.This year I called up Mr Suresh a day before and as humble and brilliant he is, immediately confirmed my order for Qty 5 Sadhya. What an amazing treat. It was par excellence. The taste was amazing.Calicut Notebook I can say for sure you guys have one of the best Onam Sadhya and also the best team working for you guys. So warm and freindly which is very important for me when I visit a place. Please keep up this good work and taste. Am already waiting for next year.

One of my favourite restaurant in Dubai. Pathiri is one of my favourite dish. Because its vey thin and it just like home made. Parking is free but its little far from the restaurant. After 10PM parking is free in front of the restaurant. Staffs are very good and its recommend for families.

Awesome hangout tava fry fillets. With wheat parathas we all enjoyed so much. Good place for a family to have food.

An interesting experience with unique preparations. The free starter was a pleasant experience, a green leaf you add Roasted coconut chunks, honey, peanuts, onion, ginger spicy red chilly, all surprisingly tasty!Nice food, great service!

First time eaten there as treat from office colleagues. Loved their kànthahari chicken pieces with a special sweet n salty sauce. And then jumped to have biryani and simple onion salad

Fish curry meals were mouth watering. Very nice . All curries. Paayasam also yummy.Hamoor fish fry and matti fry with masala awesome. Felt like eating from home.

Visited as a guest in the Deira Calicut Notebook restaurant for DINNER last Friday. We chose to stay indoors - to enjoy the air conditioning & ambience 😊. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice & Tasty dinner, we had a delightful waiters serving two to three tables at a time bcoz weekends are always full. Waiters had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. The other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Kudos!

Went Lulu for a shopping and found out this Restaurant at 1st floor. Tried some of the dishes from their Post-corona updated menu.OMG, To be frank Payyoli Chicken & Prawns mariyumma both stole my heart. The most authentic , amazingly delicious or you can say divine foul.About the place, the vibe is beautiful to spend sometime with family or friends. Well mannered staffs and reasonable price.Alert !! Nice place for specific kerala Malabar food.. tasty and well served... They have free parking behind the building,.. still didnt feel that comfortable... It is directly facing to the main road... So parking in the backside is the better...

One of the best restaurant for Kerala Food and especially the sea food dishes. Must try dishes are Fish Ilayil Tawa, Manjo Fish Curry, Shrimps 🍤 Dry Fry, Aappam during Dinner and their Fish Meals for Lunch.

The most unprofessional staffs from most overrated brand. We went to Calicut Paragon Muteena branch with family including my pregnant sister. The interior looked like a godown. Many cartons and not many lights were on also.Anyways we entered to the restaurant and nobody was onside to wish or at least arrange tables. We got one table where ful of food waste on it. We waited 20+ minutes to get it cleaned and nobody came and attend. While we were leaving one of the staff came and said go and sit next one in a rude way.Luckily we left the place.If you have any other options, please do not hesitate to ignore this most unprofessional and overrated place

Yummy chicken briyani at about 15 aed. It was opened in the day time during Ramadan for takeaway food.

Very tasty vegetarian food.especially if you like south India food. Good variety and tasty dosas and tasty vegetarian dishes. Well recommended. Very good ambience. Language is a problem with a few of the waiters (who default to speaking in Tamil with everyone). But they are friendly and courteous. Definitely worth visiting.

I have order food from this resturant through Zomato, instead of 4 fish they have sent 2 fish. I called resturant and told I have got 2 fish where as I have paid for 4 fish. Resturant people told me share pics through what’s up, post sharing the pics. They identified 2 fishes are missing they blocked me on what’s and later when I called they told me talk to resturant manager and they did not share mangers number. They are Cheaters and fraud. I have filed a complaint with Zomato and do not order food from here, you lost a customer today

Nice food with good ambiance. Master kind of variety menu. Good taste. Especially the starters and fish mango curry with Kerala paratha. Main disadvantage is you must not enter here if you are very much hungry. Min 30 to 45 minutes waiting time required for food to reach your table.

AMAZING & DELICIOUS... everyone MUST try the PAZHASHI SALAD which is served in an ethnic plate makes it more elegant... a variety dish to while you wait for your meals... fun to make too..Good quantity for the money paid.. worth eating here...Staff should be more disciplined and trained to manage the crowd and take orders precisely...

You can get good and yum south Indian food at very cheap price here. I personally like North Indian food more but their quality of food surprised me. It was tasty and delicious. I loved their tea as well. Both very and non veg options are available.
