TAG a friend who loves MALAI KOFTA!!..Had told you in our previous post about sharing with you guys what we had eaten at @dhabalane.dxb..Well we ordered this Desi Malai Kofta...Well we just wanted to eating something different as we have had enough of paneer in last few days...Surprisingly this exceeded our expectations and it was worth it. The taste is amazing and Malai kofta are unbelievably great. Best part was the gravy it literally tastes like what we are used to in Indian road side Dhabas...The Butter naan and garlic naam were so fresh and crunchy as we had them hot...The complimentary papad, green chutney, chopped onions and that welcome drink was a greatest gesture any restaurant can do...Honestly we loved it and we would be coming and ordered from here lots of food. Id recommended you check out this restaurant if you havent yet...Special mention to the staff who was incredibly good. Guy name Amit who took our order was very good and he kept giving us his attention whenever we needed something...The ambience makes the restaurant look very authentic just like the Dhaba we are used to seeing in India...Taste: 5:5Price : 5/5 (its worth is as you can avail @zomatogold and get 20% off on your bill)Ambience : 5:5Overall this place is very impressive...Follow us for more foodie updates@thevegetariancouple

Just suggest them to enhance the variety of veg food. However I have already ordered food in the recent past at our office get together and the food was delicious 😋 and mouth watering. Keep up the spirit guys. Kudos to chef, restaurant staff and the manager too.

Dined : 21 Jul 21Social distancing : noVibe : crowded and noisy. Loud musicStaff service : decent. They very busy. Good to order everything in one shot and ask them to serve accordingly. When we r craving for for Punjabi cuisine then the only restaurant comes to our mind is dhaba lane!1. Coconut pumpkin soup : 5* my favourite. Super Rich and yummy soup.2. Kali methi fish tikka : 2* it was under cooked. We informed them and they offered to serve fresh again but since it was not apetizing we said no.3. Gosht kheema tari wala/ mutton rara : 4* little on a satly side but combination of mutton kheema and as well mutton pieces in one dish was different and good.4. Butter naan: 5* soft and layered !

The ambience looks nice but it was overcrowded without any social distancing. Restaurant was quite warm or no A/c which almost destroyed the mood for the food.Food was served on time. Starters were good specially Dahi k kabab although the Dilli ki chaat was also tasty. In main course we ordered mutton roghan which was very tender and soft. In veg we tried Amritsari Palak which was also liked by our family.Lastly, Not to forget the Guava merry which was a good recommendation to cool down.Overall food experice was good!

Truely disappointed. The service is average, interiors nicely done. But too old furniture. What I missed most is the Dhaba ke khana of India, which is really impossible to find here in UAE .... but not any more .. our search came to an end at Dhaba Lane ... a restaurant in Karama..... It’s a unique place to experience the Dhaba Feel with colorful and Dhaba Style Interiors & decoratives. There is a huge truck head inside which they use as a reception. Loved the place a lot.The staff is really very helpful & friendly.Coming back to food ... we went there to taste their newly launched Set Menu Thali which costs Aed 32 for Veg Thali & Non Veg AED 35. A true value for money Thali. For the starters, they served us Nitrous Aam Ras Pyala shots .... such a beautiful presentation & Authenitic flavors. Then they served us the Thali.Non veg thali... it has Papari chaat for cold started which is a melt in the mouth fusion of flavours. For Appetizer there was Desi Chicken Tikka in it. For the main course The Classic Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton rogini ... both were very delicious with the mutton being very soft & the gravy was amazing. & yes there was Dal Makhni, which was best of all .. .The dum biryani rice complemented the gravy in the thali very well along with the boondi raita & Butter naan. For the dessert was the ever so soft and juicy Gulab Jamun. The condiments were Papad and Chutney with the Thali. For the Veg. Thali ...starting with Tandoori Phool (Broccoli) , Saror Da Saag & Taka Tak Paneer, daal & ofcourse pulao rice. It was by far the best veg thali we ever had. They also served us the Mango Lassi.... with Saffron, Pistachio, Rose Petals and Cardamon. It was super delicious. We would really want to thank the Chef Mr. Jeetendra & Server Neeraj for their warm hospitality. To sum it all ... Dhaba Lane is certainly a highly recommendable place.

I loved everything about this Thali, and the quantity is good as well. They served us with delicious lassi in a traditional earthen glass as a combo.I have also tried a Shish Touk Salad. Reason for the negative review:1. Bad behaviour by the restaurant Manager- VENKESH IYER2. Food description and food served isnt same3. Excess billing of Naan and waterI noticed excess billing of Naan at the restaurant and they deducted from the bill. After reaching home when I checked the bill, I realised that I was charged for two bottle of water whereas we had ordered only one. I called the restaurant and VENKESH IYER answered the call, he was asking me to come and collect the money but when I told him to give Zomato credit coz it isnt my mistake, he started laughing really loud and made me feel as if i was lying and tried making fool of me.I recommend not to visit - service is slow, neither the food is great and worst is the attitude. Not everyone checks the item and quantity, probably this is a technique to make so free money.Price of water is also the highest, a big bottle of water is AED 5 in most of the restaurant but here they charge AED 7.

But I think its worth for the quality.-Rasmalai would have been tastier, if the rasmalai were soaked in the badam milk for a longer time. Instead of keeping them separately.-biriyani is not up to the mark.Service: Could be improved.

Regret for not ordering punjabi kesar or lassi .Simply loved each and every dish they served .My favorite was the non vegetarian starter platter, which includes 2 piece each of four dishes ( chicken ,fish, mutton sheesh and moong tikki ) I wish they could customize according to our preferenceFor main course we had amritsari palak vadi, dhal makhani and mutton rara along with assorts dhaba bread basket . Palak vadi was just creamy and rightfully spiced and dhal makhani though no words only and the smell of ghee was pure bliss 😊.Didn’t expect a fine dining level of presentation and plating in a restaurant in karama street but dhaba lane was another level only . Desserts served were unique and tasty .Service was quick and pleasing.Dishes have traditional punjabi touch and moreover restaurant is set up in dhaba style which makes feel comfortable.

The magic is simple, serve top delicious food, in a homely ambiance with some fantastic guys who serve everything. This combination is what I feel has kept the brand going. So, we had recently gone here to try their new thali, which some in two varieties, Veg and of course Non veg. The veg comes in at AED 32 and the Non veg at AED 35. Sir, for these prices the food was exceptional. Not wanting to miss the non veg option, we picked that ( no brainer here)So, the following is the items that you get here, starting with the Amuse Bouche, which is a aam ras pyala, then comes the cold starters consisting of Purani dilli Ki Papari, chaat, then followed by chicken tikka.

For the main course The Classic Chicken Tikka Masala which was very good.Mutton rogini was very delicious with the mutton being very soft and the gravy was yummy. I love Dal Makhni and the one in the Dhaba Lane thali is byfar the best i ever had.The dum biryani rice complemented the gravy in the thali very well. They have a boondi raita and Butter naan was very soft and tasty. For the dessert was the ever so soft and juicy Gulab Jamun. The condiments were Papad and Chutney with the Thali. The Dhaba lane also serves up a variety of vegetarian delicacies cooked to perfection in the Veg Thali with Tandoori Phool (Broccoli) , Saror Da Saag and Taka Tak Paneer. The Business lunch is super tasty and super filling and is unlimited. We had the Mango Lassi which was so so good with Saffron, Pistachio, Pomegranates, Rose Petals and Cardamon. you will fall in love with their signature dishes in the Thali. The heart warming hospitality of the Chef Mr Jeetendra and Server Neeraj pulls the crowd. If you looking to binge on some scrumptious food Dhaba Lane it is you got to be.

Yalla guys, It’s @dhabalane.dxb here in Dubai!I tried Dhaba Punjabi cuisines today and it was amazing, the Punjab local food was served with ala chef cuisines, I tried many cuisines that Chef Negi served to me. Papdi chaat was nice, Surkh bihari boti was tasty, in addition to smoked lamb chops also tandoori jheenga and dahi ka kabab was delicious and I loved it. All foods tasted fresh, and all green vegetables look like direct from the farm, it is very fresh. They served me also they’re signature cuisines, from mast wala keema chap, desi malai kofta, dal makhan marke, also dum biryani rice and dhaba bread all tasty and delicio. Highly recommended for all main courses. The Strawberry mojito accompanied my tasty foods, what a tasty life!Chef Negi represented his cuisines very well, luckily I met him and he’s very talented one of best chef I’ve ever met. At Last but not least I got choco akhrot tart I felt its very nice with nuts and gelato at the top. I very thankful for all talented staffs in there, the manager greet me every time hes very kind person.Dhaba lane located nearby metro station in Al Karama, and just behind KrisKin Park Regis Hotel Dubai, very recommended to visit and feel the mystical and delicious Dhaba Punjabi atmosphere. The restaurant clean and talented staffs will served you better than usual restaurants.

Well presented food and amazing service made our iftar experience at Dhaba lane one of the best weve been to this season. We started off with a smokey naan khatai Chaat and some crispy Pattie chaat, very interesting take on Indian street food with a twist. This was followed by some really sumptous ronak sheekh and chicken tandoori starter, which were outstanding in terms of taste and looks. For the mains, we had malwani fish, chatpata ghosh, Tawa paneer and Dal makhan marke, out of which the fish was amazing, and melt in the mouth consistency, accompanied by Indian breads and rice. The dinner was concluded with Kunafa chena malai, which was an Indian take on the popular Kunafa, and was a fitting finale. For drinks we had the strawberry mojito and mango tango , both of which were really cool and refreshing .This was one of the better iftar experiences we have had, Well priced at 59 Aed , and is totally worth it considering the quality of food, presentation and taste. Special mention to the amazing service with a smile !!!!

Taste and presentation of food was good but missed the factor of temperature. all the food we had was near to cold which wasnt pleasing. lamb chops looked so yummy but when I took a bit felt the rawness of the Masala. felt like the mutton was barbeques first and Masala was applied on it. rasamalai was very very good. otherwise everything was very good

We were invited for an Iftar preview and super excited to try out the place since we had heard a lot of good things.Located right behind Park Regis Hotel is Dhaba Lane with bright colors like red and yellow and the signature truck theme for the dhaba experience but of course in Dubai style which up-scaled the whole atmosphere. For the Asian crowd, a bonus point would be the Punjabi music playing in the background. The restaurant is always packed and by the time we came on a Thursday night, it was a full-house too indicating the quality of food being served! There was enough seating to accommodate large groups but booking in advance might be a better option since the place has a queue of customers waiting for their turn to indulge. The evening started off with amuse bouche serving the Naan Khatai Chaat to set our palates. There were three options to select including Roohafza, Strawberry Mojito and Mango Tango. We went for the strawberry mojito and mango tango both of them were quite refreshing and complemented our meal.We felt there could have been moreselection for the drinks. The appetizers were split into three categories with the cold, non-veg and small plate. Cold: We tried the crispy pattie chaat which is a combination of potato filling with crispy bhel. Cannot go wrong with this one and this was just the beginning to an amazing dinner went ahead along the night.Non-Veg: There were three options to choose from pepper pink fish, bihari boti, and ronakh seekh. The ronak seekh (mutton) kebab was our favorite because it was cooked well and the meat was juicy that we could have had a million pieces and still keep craving for more. Also, the bihari boti was perfectly cooked and went along with the mint chutney that was served in a mini pressure cooker, so extra points from us for the presentation.Small Plate: We were served with the chef’s special Hare Moong Dal Ki Tikki, so this is not your regular batter fried base but instead made with daal. Kudos to Chef Negi for the creativity, a must try for the vegetarians. In the mains the non-vegetarians could choose from Malwani Fish Curry, Chatpatta Gosht, and Dhaba Chicken Curry for the gravies, whilst for the vegetarians could pick Tawa Paneer, Dal Makhan Marke and Makkai Matar Khumb. Also, it is served along with a bread basket, and biryani or plain rice so that sorts out everything. We loved the tawa paneer as it totally melts in your mouth and has a delicious surprise waiting to be revealed when you reach the center of it, that is the roasted cashews and walnuts which take the dish to the next level and the rich gravy of the palak, the classic combination have been beautifully weaved by the chef to bring out the best in terms of flavor and presentation. Our favorite from the non-veg would be the Chatpatta Gosht, the flavors were well balanced and the meat was so tender. We paired them with breads and made for a delicious meal. The daal was so rich, and well presented as well. It was so good that you could eat on its own just by scooping it on to your spoon.Save the best for the last! Our expectations were on the roof after all we had, and guess what? We were not disappointed at all. Yes, fellow folks the food was that god plus a dessert being done right seems for a roadway to success for us.Kunafa Chenna Malai keeping true to the Iftar season and blending the two classics from Arabic and Indian cuisine. Sounds too much? But no, this marriage was made in heaven! It had the right amount of sweetness and made our dinner experience truly satisfying.Service:We had the opportunity to meet the Chef in person the gem of a person who is behind the scenes and creates magic on our tables. The staff was very efficient and on their feet making sure each patron was well taken care of.Cash Outflow:The Iftar menu is priced at AED 59 plus VAT for a 10 course meal, we don’t think we have come across such an irresistible deal until now. It is definitely worth the buck.We will definitely come back soon to enjoy more of Chef Negi’s creations.
