Over time Welcare hospital has lost its edge both in terms of customer service as well as quality healthcare.Quality and capability of the staff inclusive of health care providers is exposed during the current transition their eMR system. It seems as the entire process is falling a part and staff came across very frustrating which is effecting the customer, mostly patients

While the medical services and the doctors and staff are awesome...However, only the wait at the pharmacy counter is terrible... The wait is minimum over 45 minutes to an hour. You must have additional counters. During the waiting period you can hear customers ranting and raving with regard to the delay. I can assure you that that by any standard the wait is not acceptable especially when the insurance sends you a message that the medicines are approved and you still need to wait for another 30 minutes post approval. I dread going to welcare... As compared to their other branches... Where the pharmacies are much effecient.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the amazing assistance offered by Ms. Layali Abdulsalam in your Dubai call center. I have contacted your call center for urgent assistance regarding a broken toe and ring finger. Ms. Layali was very professional in assisting by guiding me to the closest Mediclinic to my location and reserving an appointment with the orthopedic doctor. In spite of her busy time, she has even contacted me later when I reached the hospital to make sure that all went well in the reservation at the registration as well as informing the orthopedic about my arrival to the reception. The orthopedic doctor did a great job in explaining in detail about the procedure to be followed as well as assisting to find the closest orthotic supplier to the hospital who has proper size of Air Walking Boot.Thank you again for the unmatchable assistance and wish Mediclinic and their dedicated team continued success in their medical mission throughout the UAE.

There is a problem with the system .. It does not make sense to book an appointment in advance and come before the appointment and then enter half an hour after the appointment, because there are many people waiting.. This is a waste of my time and such a delay that never happened to me in Mediclinic Uptown, no matter how many people waiting .. Also the waiting time to get the medicine is very long and there are some pharmacists who skip the turn, so the waiting period is also long.. and this has no respect for the patient’s time.. Also, the prescription of the medicine goes to the pharmacy through the system, and the pharmacist tried to make me buy two extra ointments on the pretext that the insurance did not agree Except on one box, while the doctor prescribed one box to me for ten days, but because the prescription was not with me, the pharmacist tried to take advantage of that, knowing that the price of one box was about 260 dirhams, meaning she tried to make me pay 520 dirhams.

Over 2 hours for a routine appmt to see my doctor, have a blood test and collect prescription meds is just ridiculous. And I’m still waiting - the billing time and pharmacy wait are terrible.A very unsatisfied customer - if my doctor was available at another location I would not come back here.

One of the best hospitals I’ve experienced. I went to the hospital to do an echo test. The nurse whom I met there Ms.Pravya, was so hospitable and patient friendly. She took good care of me and made sure all my needs were met. It’s very hard to see such dedicated and professional care. She went that extra mile for me and explained everything in detail.Surely will recommend more people about the good care and services they offer.

One of the worst experience with pharmacy and medicine delivery. We saw a dermo doctor on Tuesday and a medicine was promised to be delivered next day. Since then I have been chasing both call center and pharmacy without success. The response from pharmacy is all lies and arrogancy. Cannot believe such service from Dubai hospital... Dubai is known for best class service. Very disappointed.

Please expedite/ add/ retain some expert staff for your PCR test section; it takes at least 20 minutes for each person to record in the system. Ive been waiting here for an hour and only four people have moved.This is extremely inconvenient; no one will have this much free time to devote solely to the PCR test. If you go anywhere else, the process takes notmore than 10 minutes, but at your hospital, it takes at least 2 hours.People who have too much of free time can please visit here.

I never expected such a bad services from this Mediclinic Welcare Hospital hospital pharmacy division. Such a careless and non-responsive division. Funny part is that there is no proper telephone contact number to call the hospital. I can see that only appointment requirement is working (for business reason) and they dont know any thing other than taking appointments. Very bad hospital. Some of the doctors are really good. There is no PRO in this hospital (so sad).

Second time and the last time here. Doctor always late 40-60 mins. Then additionally waiting times in the pharmacy can extendind the whole experience into hours. Other Mediclinic seem not to have such problems. Definitely avoid this branch!

Sorry but Im disappointed with the system and service of Mediclinic in Welcare hospital.I sent an email last September 5, requesting my blood test result sampled last SATURDAY (sep 4)and they gave me a WRONG result sample, (they gave me a result from my previous test dated August 30,MONDAY).They didnt even bother to reply with my email last sep 6, requesting the correct result.Is it too much to request for that? Its been 4days now and until today i dont receive any result. Nobody is calling me if my blood test result is already there.Ive been to other clinics with cheaper fee that has that service. They send the result or they call me if the result is already there.Nobody even call me If my result is already done. And honestly, this hospital isnt even cheap. Though its covered by my insurance, its still too pricy for that kind of poor service.

Today i went for procedure with dermatologist . Appointment was made 1 week before once i reached waited for 30 minutes i came to know i have to go back as the nitrogen stock is finished once asked got reply its evaporated in the air now i should wait couple of days more,the point is this could be informed before i reached to avoid wastage of time, its kinda you are at terminal immigration is done, got boarding pass & before departure you got announcement flight is cancelled due to aircraft ran out of fuel.

It was a pathetic experience.I have been living in Dubai for over 8 years but have never visited such a bad administration in a hospital. The wait at the pharmacy was almost an hour I fail to understand why when I had just two numbers in queue before me and to top it up the there has been no support for the patient by the nurse.I have been following up on a call back by the doctor nurse for two days non stop but the doctor and the nurse seem to be too busy to be concerned to care after the patient and call back even after non stop calls.I guess they are hoping the problem will be cured by itself before I even take the medicine.

Getting medicines from Pharmacy is nightmare. I’m 100% sure that respondent will say hat delta are due to your insurance companies as general excuse from every where. I had a tele consultation from the doctor and was advised that medicines will get delivered next day 🤣 I managed to pick medicines at my own and advised that I will pass by in the evening to pick medicines from pharmacy. When I reached i was again put in a Que and no one bothered to get approval since morning. What’s the purposes of technology and smartness where by staying home I consulted doctor but spent 1 Hour just for the sake of medicines collection. What a super important time waste for such a unrealistic reason. This should have been done in the morning and such collections should be released instantly within less than a minute.

The pharmacy here is really bad , one of the worst Ive encountered in my life.every time I have to go to collect my prescription I know that Ill either wait for a very long time or just give up and leave.I respect the doctors and the nurses they are excellent.My main issue for me is the pharmacy I have aComplained like a thousand times but without any use , they always say the pharmacy manager will call you back and he doesnt. Im pretty sure the hospital always receives complaints about the pharmacy but nothing has changed.

This is a good hospital with many good doctors in all specialties. The recent construction in the hospital is causing little disturbance and parking challenges, but still have some area to park.The laboratory team is very helpful and organized. I have given blood samples more than once, and found the nurses very helpful, welcoming and professionals in their jobs.The pharmacy staff are also professionals and helpful, they e plain about the medication thoroughly. The only issue here is that it takes a lot of time to get the medication.The reception staff are very helpful and welcoming in general, and they help you to get what you came to do.It is highly recommended for families and friends.

We met the doctor on 16th August 2021. After test results, he prescribed the medicines on 17th August. We were pleasently surprised, when he said that the medicines would be delivered at home 😀. After six days of waiting & follow ups, i visited the pharmacy of Mediclinic on 23rd August. The medicines were not dispatched from hospital yet. The pharmacy claimed that they were not aware of such a request 😁😁.

Mediclinic welcare hospital has been my favorite hospital in UAE over the years. I did a major laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Alphy Puthiyidom and she is a unique experienced professional gynaecologist. I cant recommend her enough for any lady looking for an experienced gynaecologist in minimally invasive difficult surgeries. The enitre hospital and staff policy is not after money or abusing insurance. They are just providing quality service in the best way they can. The management chose their doctors and staff very carefully based on their professional level and talent. Dr. Rajesh who is anesthesiologist is also amazing and I will never forget how my recovery went very smooth with no nausea or vomiting post my surgery. He is another talented doctor with deep knowledge and extreme professionalism. and lately, I had to see dr. Syed Hasnain Haider Shah, a pain doctor interventional radiologist because I was suffering from chronic hip pain since the last 5 years which I almost lost hope completely in a cure. He was amazing, he guided me and put me on the right track. He works from the heart and he is deeply knowledgeable and experienced and he does not abuse patients insurance. I was very happy and amazed to find someone I can trust. So, really mashaallah this hospital earned my trust over the years and will remain my favorite hospital in UAE and I would like to thank the management for this wonderful creation and system.

No more Mediclinic. My son had a appendicitis laproscopy, an intermidiate surgery. Now he is in ICU for post operative negative pressure pulmonary edema. When patient is in ICU, the bystander is asked to vacate the alloted room and sit in front of the ICU- a first of its kind that i know of. We came to the hospital at 10am...surgery got over at 9pm. The parents were asked to vacate the room alloted and wait on the chair outside icu overnight !!! Or pay Aed1900 room charges just to wait in the room ! We had no choice but to pay. As of now they say he may need to stay in ICU for another 2 days so we may need to cough up another aed3800 !!!. Never seen such practices in the medical field.. Rude behaviour from the night duty nurse and the ICU doctor. Not recomended- Just Commercial! There are many good hospitals out there that really take care of you.Replying to the response: Standard response that means nothing. All my detials are with you and dont need me to send to u.

A very clean and well organised facility in Garhoud. Both Outpatient and Inpatient facilities are good. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful and quick with services. Some very good doctors available. For GP / Family Medicine I highly recommend Dr Sakina Yamani. For Urology, Dr Salam was very good with his approach and consultation too. Overall, a reliable hospital for emergencie treatement too.

Dont visit Emergency room there. They charged over 5 thousands dirham us, made a lot of useless job with x-rays and wrongly put the plaster, imitating work but not doing it practically while my husband has a broken tendon and needed MRI immediately. They were able to organize CT scan in the same time but not CT scan of all his head but of his brain only, while it was very apparent that he heated his head on the right side of the cheekbone and they must check this. Moreover, after two my complains (on-line and Google feedback) I received sneaky SMS that the issue was resolved, while it is not! They sent my husband only to MRI of his right hand tendon to their WelCare hospital without informing me and asking whether my husband has claustrophobia or not and how much is his weight. So we waited for this 4 days in order to cancel it again. And this is bad because if to make the Emergency room work properly, my husband must have the MRI of his hand performed in the same day of visiting Emergency Room, and admitted to the hospital for surgery. But the Indian doctor specialist traumatologist-surgeon Subbaiah Surendran behaves as a person from the top Indian cast in India, who is accustomed to neglect other people expats even in Emirates. He did not appeared first to his walk in appointment in time, and his nurse redirected us to the Emergency room in order to be admitted by him (and he was the only the specialist on trauma in the hospital at that day). He was called not right away but only after one hour and a half after my husband was admitted to the emergency room because the young woman-doctor, who was unexperienced and took on herself too much, thought that she would be able to handle this herself. Subbaiah Sunderan told to put plaster, which the next Indian doctor Soni removed in Mediclinic Dubai Mall and told that it is not good for healing. The doctor did not ask whether my husband is ok with the hospital MRI or he has claustrophobia and did not ask about the weight of my husband, but he found time to take the compliments from a nurse and colleagues about his own slim weight and joke with them during the same appointment. As a result, now - after being charged for 100 on cab to the hospital back and force, were forced to pay for 2 doctors visits instead of one, and plus for unnecessary plaster 280 dhs and our insurance paid around 5 thousands dhs, after 5 days we are still waiting for the MRI, which we needed to be done in the same day. The doctor Subbaiah Sunderan is very bad and do not care at all of his patients. He cares about the money to receive immediately because he offered us to pay for MRI from our pocket and then to reclame the money from the insurance. So the possibility of the MRI in the same day probably existed but the doctor did not want to take responsibility on himself or he simply does not have a sense of reality during the crisis of COVID-19. It is the worst experience we had in any Emergency room after 11 years living in Dubai. The owner asked me to contact through the facebook but the messenger and public comments are disabled on that facebook page of the hospital. They are really bad seemingly. They dont want or dont have skills to listen their patients! I dont recommend to anybody to visit their Emergency. I need to speak with the owner directly seemingly because I already received SMS that: your issue has been resolved while it was not resolved at all after 5 days. My husband is still in pain and he is unable to have MRI with too simple facilities of radiological departments of Mediclinic.

I keep getting references stating Your request with the reference .......has been completed. We hop you received everything you needed..Service is extremely poor as i have not received a single call since doing a medical test, is been over 2 weeks. All i keep receiving as the above text messages quoting a reference number. If you value your loved ones dont take them here if they have covid, they wont provide proper treatment making the patient worse, and wont let you visit the patient EVEN IF they know that the patient wont survive.On top of this, they say they will provide medical reports for the patient but dont and close the customer services request without giving the patients report.They responded 2 months after my father died saying the ticket has been closed, thank you. Without providing me with his medical record OR replying in any sense, and the call centre is useless with this and say they will reply eventuallyThe hospital needs a better visitation policy since the current one is horrible and has no regard for human emotion, my father was dying but they bearly let me see him after having a prolonged argument with them.They lied saying it was MOH policy to not allow visitation but once I called and checked with MOH they said the hospital staff were lying.

Here is my honest review and I hope this will help other people. I went for the drive through test yesterday. The male nurse in the tent was very very unprofessional. He snatched the forms away from me before I could even finish filling in the details. Please employ people who have the right attitude. I couldnt write the address or other details properly. Then in the evening a positive test result came. No updates until today on the Al Hosn or Covid app. Also I tried the other method of using*48* Emirates id number and call. The test result shows negative. From my last December PCR test. No replies from the hospital. Please stay away from this hospital. I am going for another test in Zulekha hospital. More professional behavior from them.Edited review: All the replies are sent by bots. All the same standard copy paste replies. Please run away from all Mediclinic facilities.

I went to periodontist at mediclinic almost for two years but on my last visit after checking my teeth I found some stain not removed even thought after cleaning. In addition, he rushed to do the cleaning he called it root planning.I decided to try a different periodontist next time. I went to thr perio clinic and found a hill of a difference between the two periodontists. Dr Geoffrey of the perio clinic is outstanding when I compare to the periodontist Dr shyam of mediclinic. Although the perio clinic charged me a little more than that of mediclinic, I strongly believe it was worth the care and time the doctor spent with me.

Incredibly unprofessional. Appointment made and medical insurance approved. They then cancelled the appointment as the doctor was going to be in theatre which sounded like just a better option. New appointment scheduled. On day of appointment they advised needed new medical aid clearance. Whilst on way to appointment they cancelled again as they hadnt received clearance. I get really frustrated with the god complex of medical practitioners. As patients they are a medical supplier..thats it...as a patient we not there at their beck and call...we gave other appointments that need moving etc etc.

Mediclinic Welcare Hospital – Al Garhoud surely has proved one of the best hospitals for me in Dubai. Dr. Alphy Puthiyidom was recommended by a friend of mine and I am so happy Dr. Alphy has been wonderful! Right from my first visit in March everything was explained to me in detail she is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. I would also like to thank Dr. Rabia Cherqaoui who very patiently monitored my sugar level during my recovering days and lastly my special thanks goes to Dr. Alphy’s Nurse - Mariam Reji who has been doing her work with so much dedication and care.On the day of my procedure I was taken to the OT in a very friendly manner by Nurse Pricella to make sure I was not getting too nervous. Even after the procedure when I was taken back to the room she made sure I was comfortable and taken good care of.Mediclinic hospital overall I would rate 4 out of 5. Service, Tests, Nurses, Staff, Billing team all were polite and helpful. My only complaint would be that the toilets all over the hospital are very untidy, even to my surprise the rooms too were not cleaned properly. Please make sure this issue is taken care of.Surely will recommend more people about the good care and services they offer.

Slacked, slothed and most primitive services end-to-end. We visited the doctor, got tests done and been waiting for results/advice for 5 days but nothing happened. The Customer Service helpline constantly advises us to wait as they are unable to contact the doctor and pathology. Worst hospital in Dubai, big zero in dealing with corona patients, insisting from day one to give them medicine and pipe to the lungs to push the oxygen just to sleep them for weeks or months just to get selves a piece of mind.

One of the best hospitals I have ever visited. Dr. Alphy Puthyadam was my consultant surgeon ,who is highly professional ,who has taken care of both the pre and post surgical requirements exceptionally well. An amazing person with high spirits and always there to answer my queries . I cannot complete this review without mentioning about sister Maryam ,who was always in front with helping hand.

Extremely happy with the treatment, care and hospitality given by Dr Alphy Puthiyidom and the team at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital along with Nurse Ms.Mariam made most comfortable arrangements and got best treatment to Mrs Remya. I live close by and wanted to do travel test screening in the drive through. It wasn’t drive through since after waiting for 30 minutes, I had to go inside to take a queue and pay.There was no social distancing in the queue. The nurses gloves were not changed.Totally not up to the standards I have been expecting. I generally go to Medcare and there is a vast difference in service level.

Wait is too long, takes 2 hours to get X-ray feedback. Nobody seems to care what’s going on, 15-20 wait for a nurse to come& check.

Extremely disappointed to visit this facility at 23.50 pm on 08 march given there was no queue we thought its great.however as we found no one to do the test we asked for details and to our surprise the nurse available said that this facility is no more a 24/7 and she cant do anything just now it has been decided to close the testing by 12.00 am.so we then checked at emergency and the guy at the reception said it will take up to 2 hours to do the test (completely surprised because no one is in the queue) .This is such a shame for this well known facility.Please ensure that you keep information upto date so that people can avoid wasting time by coming to this hospital. Kindly do not apologise and show concern it all went down already.Just give a thought on what can be done better and start afresh.i can feel the frustation in the voice of the nurse at the drive through facility.

Terrible service, i have got my PCR test result and my emirates ID number was wrong, called them more than 20 time to fix it so that it would be added at alHosn app, but they didn’t do anything just saying we requested from the lab to fix it. And yet it’s been more than 24 hours since I received my test and they didn’t solve my issue.

The walk in covid testing centre is small and gets a little crowded, making social distancing difficult. However the staff are helpful and I got my result in less than 24 hours 👍🏻

We had a very bad experience with the Plastic Surgery doctor, he did a simple surgery ( mole removal), in the end it was not successful according to the lab report, so we had to redo it but with an other doctor . Besides that, we were waiting for the lab report which we did not receive even after several reminders.As for Dr. Bennett, we found an absolute indifference and the only thing he really cared about, was our insurance policy.

Horrible experience, if you want to take a pcr test for traveling try to find another place, i only went there because of it s 24h ,but never again! It took forever to get tested, cashier guy was incredibly rude , my test came as a text message with no name details nothing on the email, i had to call so many times and give my email and still nothing!

Good hospital and doctors. Good facilities. I recommend to make your appointments on weekdays not Saturdays as it too busy on Saturdays and sometimes u have to wait for long times even though u came on your appointments. Improvement required in the pharmacy when it comes to long queues, service should be much quicker. Also wish that Drs. can work till after 6 pm ( shifts basis ) which will be more convenient for everybody.

The doctors are good but the administrative coordination is disappointing and inefficient.I am to go in for an in patient admission tomorrow and in the pre anaesthesia check, i was told I will be given a call for the covid test appointment and pre-procedure instructions. No call for two days even after following up.Atlast i went in myself for the covid test today and now the results will take 24 hours. Not sure if my procedure will take place or not. My entire schedule gets disrupted because of this irresponsibility.Very disappointed with the way this whole process was handled. If i hadnt proactively gone in today, i wouldnt have even known this issue.

One of the most disorganized PCR test centers in Dubai. We were in drive through for a period of 45 minutes, just waiting and waiting. When I went inside the tent there was a que of about 3 people and the turn around time per patent was beyond my comprehension. Conclusion if you want a test done , please avoid going here.

Friendly staff and clean hospital. It was a little bit crowded and our appointment was an hour over the sceduled time.They also serve Starbucks, so no need to worry about finding a coffee shop 🍵👌
