Smooth and enjoyable experience. Lovely customer service. Mr. Mohamed, just came back from vacation. He was highly motivated to support and help. Took me less than 10 minutes to get my French driving license converted. #chapeau!

Fantastic service centre. Got my UK license converted to a UAE license here. Honestly including the eye test I was in and out in 20 mins. I want to give a special mention to Mohamed Salah Mohamed - a class act and it was a pleasure to sit opposite him as he issued my license. Great sense of humour, incredibly knowledgable and a very personable individual. Thank you!

It’s New Years night and trying to get an RTA taxi home is the most unpleasant experience because none of your drivers want to accept credit card. They only want cash because they want to take the money for themselves. These RTA drivers are crooks. Please RTA, do something about this because these types of drivers don’t deserve to work for this great country!

When the rta will feel the people and think of their situation people are afraid and struggling to keep the money to feed their families during this pandemic and the rta still thinking and caring for o collect the parking ticket !!!!!! Seriously this how the RTA shows the care to your people or its just propaganda that you care about the people . You have announced that each car in dubai will be able to renew the vehicle without fees for three month but still you are not providing the full information that we have to buy new insurance first . Its really disappointing how you are dealing with the situation, or maybe we have more trust and high expectations in the RTA than it should be .

Everything perfect. Provides proper connection facilities, most innovative and controls private buses ...However bus stopped in bus stop, many passengers punched nol card at the same time but still door closed at back side, checker entered from front door, checker reached back door after checking one by one passenger, many passengers got fine for this occasion. Checker collecting Emirates ID and back door opening, everyone moving to rta car, asking for paying fine. If we want to tell our situation (we punched nol card after bus stops) checker is not ready to hear our explanation. Next answer from checker is ok then we will call to police, then you have to pay more. Finally without discuss anything we have to pay fine to avoid additional fine from police.

RTA has some innovative and impressive services via online specially when I am busy and not able to visit them but need to solve the matter.The applications for the smartphone are convenient to track all the records that I need and its free.The customer service over the phone was polite and courteous.Look forward to see what they will come up next !

RTA driving licencing department,Sharjah & other emirates don,t have smart yard test, only simple parking test, & the institute where i m giving test (DDC qusais 1, bustan), the training place & test place different parking/ markings are not same, / reference lines are not same, its confusing. means, its punishment who living & working in dubai ? other emirates who dont have Smart yard, can drive all over UAE, but dubai driving licence for which planet ?

First day on Dubai I lost my business phone on a taxi with confidential information, and despite the fact that they are supposed to have CCTV, they are not able to find it or tell me anything else (reported incident 1964353). 5th day in Dubai a taxi takes us from Atlantis Hotel to Sofitel the Palm and he started complaining it was a very short journey and speeding up and made my wife cry. I strongly recommend people to take Uber because taxis are not safe in Dubai

I have been a resident in UAE for a few years. I have to say that RTA is one of the most efficient and professional government entity in this country. Everything can be done online basically and I dont even need to visit any counter (except the first time I got the driving license from them). The staff are also very helpful if I have any inquiry to the call center.Thats exactly how a modern government entity should be doing over the world.

You can’t buy or pay metro card anywhere else except at the train station, this is a great modern city, selling metro card at the bus stations or deli or mall should be easy to setup. Also if you buy from zone 5 to zone 2 and make a mistake, they will make you paid full fare at the exit of your destination. Watch out !

I visited rta for my driver’s license today. The woman at the desk was so rude and arrogant even she insulted me. Besides, she was giggling and enjoying it. Is it fair because I am a foreigner? They should be more polite and less racist. Don’t say it’s their culture. “Rudeness” is not a culture. It is uncivilized manners that should be changed.

Made a double payment in taxi since the driver didnt know if the card was charged. That is not the problem, the problem is the company or the authorities unwillingnes to give us the money back. They have sent requests for numerous banking statements even though they got a stamped statement from the bank and mobile app screenshot. This has already been lasting for a week and a half. Unbelievable

Forgot my iPhone on one of the cabs. Realized only once I was home. In a panic, I took the elevator to try doing something about it, only to find the cab driver waiting for me with my phone. God bless him!

Recent upgrade of the display system inside the trains have removed the display of time, not sure why! Train timings are calculated even to the seconds in some countries. Ignorance or a glitch? However if the authorities can audit the system, will be appreciated.

I have to say thank you to RTA for treating my lost and found case with such professionalism.I lost an item in a Bus and called the 800 hotline. Long story short, the lady on the phone took my report and said I would hear from them within 3 working days. On the third day, an email came for me to come pick it up.Good job RTA for such world class service.

I received today at the Al Jafliya Metro station.I truly respect all the rules and regulation in riding the public transport it just accidentally happen today.I accept my mistake on coming inside the women and children only cabin because.That time I was on rush to come to work and not realizing to come inside that corner for running to catch the metro. I learned from my mistake and promised not to repeat that again.My only concern is I thought this rule is applicable to everyone not on any particular person or regardless of the nationality. There is other people in front of the RTA personnel that he also ask to go outside the train at the World Trade Center Station but they didnt give thema ticket to pay a fine just because they are Europeans and Im Asian. This is clearly unfair and an act of discrimination.This concern will really makes other people feel bad.Because your personnel is hand picking the people they will give fines.

I came to Rta main branch and the stuff are unprofessional. Been waiting for 1 person on the name of Mr jumma room no 1 and hasnt attended . Honestly is this dubai and when asked were the person was simply replied that he went to prayer when its 12pm. God knows which prayers were they talk8ng about?? Poor service.

Unfortunately I can’t choose ZERO star for rating I had to choose one.The worst experience I ever had in Dubai, today while I am preparing my papers for my meeting and before I get out of my car I was shocked when I saw the RTA employee “Qassim Ghoulam - Employee ID: 1938” is giving me a fine for not paying the parking fee while I am IN MY CAR, I thought that he somehow didn’t see me or whatever or maybe there is something wrong with the car and I didn’t see. But the most shocking that he is confirming that he saw me in my car and still gave me the fine and left while I am trying to understand what is happening. That person who is far far away from professionalism also destroys the great image of UAE by his actions.

I want to say thank you to RTA , yesterday we forgot documents and mobile phone in big yellow taxi in Dubai , and i call to RTA 8009090 they sent my call to lost & found departhment , after 3 hours they give me a call and tell me good news , they find my phone and documents and deliver to my work place after 1 hour, case reference number 1727331 , i want to say great thank you to drivers Rahuf and Ahur )))) Thank You RTA, great service , thank you a lot

1 star would be bad for the other valuable drivers. I always have bad incidents and recently i was dropped off the highway where i had to jump over the metal barrier with my 2years old baby and 65 year old mother in law and wife and all the bags i had because the driver rerouted twice. the fare should have been AED12 and it was AED31 while he was turing around and around lost. the drivers car was CT0369 and i had told in my complaint that i am teravelling so call me on my number provided. they replied that they called my uae number whicvh is closed and couldnt reach hence they closed the case. Many travellers take RTA, locals drive their own cars. you should take care in deploying GPS in the cars and teach them some language to communicate properly. Your are RTA in Dubai, a HUB for over 170 nationalities.

It was terrible experience i had, I recharged my nol card for 50aed, and the staff put me just 5aed which I noticed after the next day,so i came to the same place where I recharged i explain everything and i wait the manager few minutes and when he came he told that he couldn’t find the missing transaction which is obvious they can check my card is no credit, anyway he suggests to call to customer service and i face the same stupid situation they ask me the name of the cashier this and that which they could take my card detail and procces, it’s truly terrible,and I really don’t have time for all of that which they could be more helpful,anyway hope they would be more intelligent next time !!

I will not be surprised if the RTA is the best place to work in Dubai the staff is always so friendly and willing to help. I have never had a bad experience with the call center or when visiting physically in Al Manara... *remember to wear your abaya or to cover when visiting :)

Buses are always late which causes us being late fkr workFriday closing of the metro is also ankther topic. In Dubai loves almost 10 million expects, most of them working on Friday, some working on airport like I do .which means working for holidays and Friday of courseMetro closing on Friday is causing big expense for us ,normal people that are working for normal income ,because paying 50,60 aed for taxi on that dag to go to work on 12 h shift and spend extra money on food and again come back home ,it doesnt make sense.Rta is doing a lot of goods work but need to dk still much much much betterThere is no country in the world that is closing public transportation !Another thing is parking ..Dubais huge fail!! There is no walking areas in so many placesOften I see mothers pushing strollers in the middle of driveway, people larking where ever they pleaseVery bad .I hope in the near future dubai will do something serious about this important things because its looking very ugly

Worst RTA in Dubai! Be aware of what is going on in that sight. You will be treated badly waiting for hours and might not even make it in the end. They will fail your vehicle test for the silliest and most pathetic reasons. Judged by your nationality or who you know as a contact in that branch thats how they roll. The supervisors Mr Alex and Malik are unprofesionals and extremely rude.

The Experience with rta bus was very bad, by mistake I punched twice in the bus, which even I came to know when the inspector checked my card the bus was heading to a metro terminal within a single zone means already I payed the fair by first time punching. I explained the whole scenario to the inspector which himself can see on his checking maching that the punch was their but still I payed 220 Dirhams fine. So I have a humble request to the rta inspectors to think logically in somecases.

Horrible. The RTA staff was incompetent. They didnt realize my drivers license was an auto and motorcycle combined license. They couldnt see past the fact it had a motorcycle class attached to a standard motor vehicle license. They asked me to sit and when I ask for an update they ask me to sit again. I wasted 4hrs sitting and trying to explain to them that this was a combined license. The department sent an email to them saying this was only a motorcycle license with a screen shot of my countries laws. They failed to read the text right under the attached image stating what qualifies for a combined license. IDIOTS!!!!

Even if you really know how to drive - it’s impossible to get your driving license from the first road exam with RTA examiner , they will fail you 2/3 times with one invented reasons, which will include other linked to complete the status “Fail” of exam.
