If you are from india and missing your country, visit them for a dose of nostalgia. For a simple issue in their system (visa cancellation from Abu dhabi not showing up in their system but showing correctly on the federal website), they made me run around for 2.5 hours. And the funny part is that finally the same officer whom i spoke to first, said oh visa status update yes go to counter number 2. And i am wondering, buddy we have had the same conversation 3 times then why did you tell me this on my 4th attempt.

Got turned away by the officer. There wasn’t a proper conversation or any attempt made to understand the amount of stress the resident might be going through. The officer did not listen to me with the intention of helping.

Very Rude staff reject to stamp my visa without any reason and busy in chit chatting with each other.I dont understand that Dubai is advertising in whole world that they are the best tourist friendly city but government staff dont even have manners to talk with tourist, Need to educate there people before giving them a seat at government sector.

GDRFA service is very excellent but the problem is their preferred courier company. I they never show up to collec the passport. Last 3 days I am calling them and they are saying will come tomorrow...still waiting... I think they already got the money that is reason they are not bothered. I saw their google reviews..... complaints only and I think the company is not review in the comeents. I will try to call them tomorrow again

If you are looking for urgent visa stamping then read below carefully.There is lack of clear information regarding the locations where urgent visa stamping is done.In the Terminal 3 only Visa Stamping for emergency cases is done where your flight is booked for travelling but you are still waiting for visa. In that case you have to take the copy of your flight ticket, along with approved application then only they would do the visa stamping.For all other cases you have to go to Bin Sougat Centre in Rashidya (open till 5:30pm) or Immigration at DAFZA (open till 6pm)

Very bad service at the reception, not even ready to hear the exact problem and they sent me away without consulting his senior.

Supper professional and helpful, the officer at the duty have an amazing approach and ready to help as much as he can, the issue he did solve I wasn’t even expected that it can be solved, even while I was waiting, the amount of repetitive people that passed by the counter uncountable and all they was helped in the best way possible, really hands up for you guys, you are a great example.

Gdrfa service is very good but they authorize courier zajel for passport collection which is worse than ever and getting more worse day by day i think GDRFA should review about zajel

I have been to many Government offices in UAE, but never was I humiliated so badly publicly by a staff simply for asking assistance in a humble manner. The people working there DO NOT CARE about our issues and choose not to help the public.

Very helpful officers. Went to correct the name in visa. Got it done in 20 mins. Had an issue 4 years back also which was sorted out without any hassle.

I didnt get a good response from them and one arabiyan old guy was very very rough. Its pathetic in Dubai.

Very Bitter Experience.There was a Indian guy in Danata Uniform who was not the staff of General Directorate of residencies but he was assisting rudely to queue, Literally asking everyone try some-other place.The receptionist was not even bothering himself to look into the matter.

They restarted to work from today onwards after long period of lockdown...I went to hold my family visa. Theyre very friendly and approachable attitude. My work was completed within 20 minutes.... Not much waiting period ...

Is it because of Ramadan thats why staffs dont provide proper interaction to customers? All my efforts, waiting, time, and money to go with head office & airport branches just gave instructions differently to skip work instead of making it easier for us? As an employee & a single mom, time and money is very valuable but I didnt even feel a little of the Customer Happiness the govt is promoting. I thought they are very friendly and approachable but I lost my trust. Staff even talking to phone while attending inattentively to me. So disappointing. 😓😓😓

Be very careful about the information you’re getting. I caught an officer either purposely lying about procedures, or not knowing official immigration rules, in both cases such people shouldn’t be allowed to work for the public in such departments. Always get a second opinion. Majority of the officers are not willing to solve anything, they’ll regard you to the next shift instead to get rid of you. One officer was helpful, typing person was very pleasant.

During lockdown period, i went up there 2 times but disappointed. I went for my newborn childs, who are not appearing in my file. Only GDRF can do it. I tried explaining the Gentleman my case. But he did not even listen and went back inside. So disappointed.

They are very friendly & wonderful service. I got my baby’s out pass with in 10 minutes.

This have no service on fridays. But u can turn up to terminal 3 arrival for getting friday service. Only urgent visa option available there.

20 locals sitting behind the desk and 15 customers sitting for an hour .... each one is busy laughing and joking not getting a customer ... only 2 counter having customers and they take 30 min break after them again ... missed my flight for their pride and laziness
