The villa and stay was beautiful it was only on check out we faced an unbelievable issue with a very rude female individual.We accidentally dropped a strawberry on the carpet and didn’t see it till the morning. It left a slight stain. On check out we were told to remove this stain it would cost AED.2500 as this was the going rate in Dubai for a cleaning company. I fought back and was not willing to accept that. I called my own company to come and clean the rug which they did perfectly.I was then repeatedly reminded that the rug cost AED4000 from Marina! I found this very unprofessional. Why would you put such an expensive rug under a dinning room table in a rented family villa which allows 10 people to sleep! Of course it’s going to get dirty! Thank god I didn’t bring my toddlers!I was then accused of trashing the villa. I offered to pay a small cleaning fee for extra cleaning for the villa. As we had a small gathering of 6 people which we took permission for. I also made clear we had not broke anything it was literally only the dinning room and garden area that was left untidy!She would not back down and said we would not be getting our deposit back.After a long upsetting day we are still waiting for news on our deposit.
