What David and the team at Embody Fitness have created is the best fitness and nutrition program I have ever done. Not only did I lose my lockdown weight, but I am in the best shape of my life and have the tools and tips I need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and still have fun! I approached Embody as a nerdy, unathletic guy in my 60s. I’d recently recovered from a severe encounter with Covid-19. I had done some cardio training on my own, “couch to 5k”, and I wanted to add resistance training. My goal was to set myself up for a long and healthy life.I looked at various gyms but I wasn’t interested in they were either too serious, for muscleheads, or too casual, for Instagram posers. I knew that wouldn’t work for me. I wanted a real solution that a normal working guy could achieve.Someone recommended Embody. I checked it out and I knew immediately that it was the right solution for me. Not crowded, and with a system that focused on getting achievable results for normal people.My trainer Fadel set up a personalised training and nutrition plan. The gym sessions were only for 3 times a week. They focused on correct form, efficient movement, and technique. It was not the gut-busting slog to exhaustion that I had experienced with other trainers. The activity outside the gym was even more important: I had to follow the plan for nutrition, cardio, rest and stress.The plan was comprehensive, but straightforward. All I had to do was follow it. Simple, but not easy. Fadel was there to monitor my progress, adjust the plan, provide advice and encouragement. Above all, put me back on track when I made mistakes or deviated off course. In particular, Fadel was careful to stop me over-training, thus I avoided injuries and muscle sprains, enabling me to exercise consistently within my limitations.The results I achieved were way beyond my expectation. In 13 weeks I lost 10kg and went below 10% body fat. I gained lean muscle and a 6-pack in my 60s. I started knocking out 5-7k runs several times a week as a routine activity. I noticed better productivity at work, getting more done in less time, and better-quality decisions.Perhaps the best outcome was improved knowledge of health and nutrition, and a physical confidence that I lacked previously. It was an excellent experience that I would recommend to others. I have signed up for another 3 months for the next stage of my transformation.

AMAZING GYM, AMAZING TRAINERS!Best choice I’ve made training at Embody!!A special shout out to my trainer James Latham – I can’t thank him enough .. He literally changed my life on all levels. He’s absolutely amazing and offers tons of support and encouragement on my fitness journey. He’s super professional and knows how to challenge me to go that extra step (p.s he can be brutal sometimes ‘in the right way’) 😊Such a family vibe as soon as you walk in the doors. All the other team members and trainers are VERY friendly, encouraging and awesome – Max, Tim, John, David and everyone else.By training 3-4 times a week, I achieved my BIG transformation goals in 8 months, and I look forward to continuing the journey with them.I’m loving how I keep receiving compliments from people I know and seeing them getting shocked every time they see me while I’m pleasantly being transformed! 😊I tried tens of other gyms and trainers in the past and Embody is by far absolutely the best. When I moved to Dubai a couple of years ago, I had been looking for a good gym. All the gyms where I visited, as soon as I met someone I only received offers of memberships, discounts and a tour of their facilities.I came across Embody through my Instagram ad and immediately booked a time, I thought this is my last shot before I give up on my search. But when I spoke to David Crocker at Embody it had completely changed my perception towards Fitness. Embody s approach to fitness is very holistic, with primary focus on fitness, nutrition and most importantly a thorough understanding of my individual requirements and aspirations.The membership process is discussed on your initiative. Discussions about discounts and annual membership offers do not exist.The entrance to the Gym itself provides great vibes. The staff, the trainers, the interiors, the consultation room, the treatment room, the assessment rooms, the gym floor, the gym equipment, the locker rooms etc are of very high standard and maintained in perfect condition(Thanks Jules). There is a separate workout studio for private clients which requires prior booking at no extra cost.The entire gym is sanitized very regularly with deep cleaning and strict social distancing protocols are implemented inside the gym. The trainers too wipe down the equipment and support systems immediately after finishing the exercise routine.The trainers are highly professional, focused on your aspirations, the sessions are well documented and monitored for the entire period of your subscription. Training sessions are so placed that one would never have to wait for the equipment to become available.One will be provided with an expert guidance on nutrition. And your coach would monitor your diet on a meal by meal basis. The attitude of the trainers provides excellent confidence and motivation.My personal goals are achieved and I definitely feel stronger now at the age of 54 than ever before in my life. Thanks to my expert personal trainer Sarah Claxton and Harjeet. They have been my coach, trainer, nutritionist, motivator and a great guide.In this pandemic, if one is looking for a reliable, clean and peaceful gym then one should not miss EMBODY.

Embody gym has been awesome to me. Their trainers are exceptional, the overall vibe is great, and I have had nothing but good experiences. I recommend them to my friends and family.My first experience with Embody Gym and have not been disappointed! I train here about 3 times a week by joining the well worth Transformation program of 12 week but extended another 12 weeks and even more. As am seeing gradual changes in my body, my body feels more toned with time. I never expected to see these great results so soon. I was 78kg of weight with a body fat of 31% and today I am 59.5kg with a body fat of 12.9%. I must say that I have been to many gyms and had many instructors but no single one has toned my body as I am now. I feel deeply indebted to Mr. Harjeet Singh my personal trainer, you have really helped me in getting back my toned body. I feel like I am healthier and happier than I did before. You have made my dream come true which I did not believe I can and will achieve the result as mention above of my toned body. I love Embody Fitness professionalism, personal attention and knowledge driven approach to fitness. They will help you not only to get fitter but also understand how your body works, how does nutrition, sleep, activity levels impact your fitness and would give you personalized advice on everything. Fitness is a lifelong habit and this gym will help you understand and practice that. Their PTs are professional, responsive and attentive and take their jobs and your body seriously.I train with Tim Richards and look forward to my sessions with him early mornings. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional he ensures I enjoy the process of training. Before joining Embody I had trained for many years on my own. Over the last few years however a great deal of work-related travel had subtly impacted my health. This led to aggravated injuries that limited some of my training like running for example. When I joined Embody Dubai, I was introduced to my trainer Fadel. At first he was very cautious with the approach to both training and nutrition, establishing my capabilities and commitment levels. My training early on was very focused on form and tempo, this really started to strengthen core muscles improving old injuries and making sure that as I progressed I could do so safely. My nutrition required a lot of work. Being honest about what I was eating daily, making sure I understood the right way to eat for my particular objectives etc. Fadel was directly involved and always available throughout providing both technical knowledge and lots of constructive feedback and motivation when things became challenging.Difficult to compare with other experiences other than training myself. With Fadel I work harder, smarter and I get results. He has incredible knowledge and can see the potential long before you can and takes a very professional approach to helping you achieve that potential. A great environment at Embody and experience overall.

Joining Embody was life changing for me.I gave birth in December and resumed my workout routine a month after. Yes, I was losing weight (slowly) but something was missing - guidance through the process, shape and definitely a drop in body fat which I struggled with. I was doing loads of cardio (2 hours a day) and I was losing my lean muscles. With a baby, the process was so hectic and exhausting. Around End of April, I came through Embody and decided I will give it a try and commit to this investment...and thank God I did. Kate my trainer, and Harjeet, my nutritionist, were such a great support - guiding me on daily basis and following up on my routine outside the gym to make sure I am getting in my daily steps and my one hour cardio. It was lovely to have a team behind you pushing you to the limit without actually pressuring you - they did make me enjoy the process - and I was never hungry given their guidance regarding my nutrition. The fact that they were reachable 100% of the time, made it super easy to communicate and ask them anything anytime as they were always available to answer any of my questions. Always encouraging me with every assessment that I can do more and reach my goal, and within 11 weeks - YES I did drop 8% body fat and lost 8 KG - I am now in my best shape/strength EVER which is something hard to believe I can actually achieve after having a baby and while having a full time job. This team is a blessing and I am really happy I made such a decision - I did learn a lot about nutrition (calorie intake, macros, etc..) and how my body works and responds to certain foods. Ive always wanted to have a good shape with a balanced diet to maintain and now I actually managed to reach that, and after reaching my goals, I decided I will continue to train with Kate as I actually enjoy it. So now I am having it as part of my weekly workout routine along with other cardio based workouts outside the gym. The gym itself is super private and nice with flexible timings to suit my schedule as a working mom.Looking forward to achieve more and more with Embody

Embody is the best investment that I have made in my entire life. I am 38 years old and have been negligent when it comes to exercise and health. I have hypertension, take beta blockers, gout, fatty liver and a disc problem. I am 22 kgs overweight, heavy smoker and Netflix surfing is my favorite sport.I had previously two experiences with brand gyms and personal trainers, of course I quit after paying for the whole year and finishing one or two sessions with the so called personal trainers.At Embody, we (myself, my wife and my two kids😊), met with David, the COO of Embody. First of all, the customer journey starts with a very professional touch point from booking / consultancy session and being engaged from the first moment with a person who knows what he is talking about instead of a tour with a salesman as if you are booking a SPA. Trust me, I have done my research and met with all competitors, the scent of pure commercial tendencies and standardized processes is all over the place. With David, he talked me through every single condition that I have, gave me competent guidance and offered me more advice on health and wellbeing than I had ever known, talked about the combined offerings of the transformation program and provided a fit for purpose differentiated overview of their service vs. the mass standardized outreach of the competition landscape.I decided to start the program after meeting with David, and the story begins from there. He assigned Tim Richards as my personal trainer. Listen, Tim is a legend, to say the least. My first interaction with him we talked about lifestyle habits (smoking, sleep patterns, diet, exercise…etc), took my measurements (fat, weight, muscle…etc), talked at length about my nutrition plan and discussed the transformation plan. Listen, if you think that you will just show up in your gym gear and gain more weight than you had before you started, just go to your neighborhood gym, hit the treadmill for 15 minutes, order an upsized big mac and call it a day. However, if you are in for a life time transformation this is it. I quit smoking in the first week, after 23 years of being addicted, cut my hypertension medication (after consulting the doctor) by half as my blood pressure and heartbeats went so low that I did not need that much medication anymore, radically changed my eating habits and already lost 7 kgs after 10 sessions. Not only did Tim walk me through every single step of the transformation, these people are so knowledgeable about what they do, they explain the impact of every single exercise, demonstrate the impact of every single unhealthy habit that you have and most importantly, they change your life style once and for all. Now, I jog for 5 km everyday in the morning (now that I wake up at 5 am since I joined after changing my sleep habits), exercise at the gym with Tim for 3 times a week, on a 100% healthy diet (and surprisingly never feel hungry now that my nutrition content is radically different) and dropped my bodyfat by 19% after 3 weeks. Not only that, they emphasize the importance of many other lifestyle habits like sleep patterns, stress and nutrition. I also spend a lot more time with my kids now that I feel healthy, my life is not centered around the cigarette and feel energetic the whole day.This is a long review I understand, however, if you are thinking about “the” transformation journey for life, this is the place my friend. Tim Richards – thank you for being the champion of this journey and David – thank you for the honest, professional and trustworthy experience.

Ive been at Embody for nearly 2yrs, albeit with significant gaps for summers away and the covid period. Embody have a great team of PTs and staff -- all very warm, personable, friendly and welcoming people. The PTS are remarkably highly qualified/experienced - streets ahead of other gyms -- really focusing on your personal goals and fitness journey. Whether you are after a short, high impact change, or longer general fitness improvement - the results are impressive.My trainer, Julia, is very impressive. Very detail focused to ensure my posture and technique are correct to avoid injuries while getting the most out of the training. And always challenging me to go that extra step. Highly recommended

What a fantastic experience!My husband and I went in to see what this was all about and were given a very warm welcome. After seeing the gym and having a chat with David about the process, we decided to give it a try. We later met our awesome trainer Fadel, and after training with him for a couple of weeks, we were sure that we had made the right decision in joining Embody.I’ve done the transformation program and the results I’ve seen are incredible! In just 3 months, I’ve lost 9 Kg’s and 12% of my body fat. I am also the strongest I’ve ever been and feel great overall!Prior to joining Embody, I was training regularly and had what I thought were good eating habits, but I was still struggling to lose this weight for the past 2 years and had just about given up hope on losing it until I started this program.I would highly recommend Embody, and especially Fadel as a trainer as he is highly professional and knows how to get the most out of his clients. I joined Embodyfitness to start a journey of changing my health. At Embodyfitness my trainer, Fadel, took an active interest in my training to help me achieve my goals. Taking accountability for my progress and nutrition was key to me achieving success. Fadel worked out a nutrition plan for me and tracked all my progress daily to ensure we stay on track The training was very structured, professional and scientific to ensure no injuries . The environment at Embodyfitness is engaging and all the trainers make you feel welcome. I joined Embody fitness with certain goals and its safe to say that I reached them with the help of my coaches here. I lost 10kg and 7% of body fat which was above my expectations and this was due to the intense and planned sessions by Mark. Harjeet who monitored the food intake daily, was always in touch through the weekends to ensure the meal plans were being followed. Both trainers were going out of their way to ensure I stayed on track which is a big motivator to keep reaching their goals. Mark was great and getting the best out of you in your PT slot whilst Harjeet would ensure calories and Macros were on point at all times and would speak to me if I had any concerns on food planning (very motivational for me). I would recommend the plan to any busy individual as it can be a life changer. I am continuing further sessions and will no doubt be pushed to my limits! Thank you guys.

Every journey at embody is indeed transformational, which is evident by the mind blowing client body transformations and reviews. Some fifteen months into a new life in Dubai (ex-Singapore, 6 years), feeling all the worse for the onset of the C-19 pandemic, (too) long working hours, a pressurised working environment, limited (hap hazard) physical exercise, a lack of sleep, relatively poor diet, and increasing weight, the time had come to be pro-active, and take some positive, and drastic action.Research into fitness options (other than the customary 5-side football, jogging ..) brought me to Embody Fitness. I was enthused by the content on its site, motivated by the positive reviews received from clients in respect of its body transformation programmes, impressed by its state-of-the-art facilities and amenities on offer, and excited about the prospect of going on a first-time journey, both physical, and educational in nature, under the direction of a dedicated team (nutritionist /fitness trainer).I signed up to an eight (8) week programme, with the stated objectives of improving my general level of fitness, strengthening my core (as a 50-something), and improving my physique (build lean mass index, reduce fat), and was committed to adherence to the recommended guidelines, dietary, physical or otherwise (sleep, ... as professional commitments would allow at the busiest time of the year), so as to optimise my chances of generating some positive results.Within one working week of my initial consultation with COO, Dave, I was assigned a nutritionist, Harjeet, and personal trainer, Emily. The fitness journey (three sessions weekly @ 8 weeks) was about to start.My personal data was collated at the outset, my diet (calorie intake @ calorie deficit) defined by Harjeet, having regard to my fitness goals/ body transformation objectives (incl. shedding of circa 8 kilo). Adherence to the plan was monitored on a daily basis throughout the 8-week period (particularly, when I came off Meal Plan, to go autonomous). Harjeet was the consummate professional, sometimes the hard task master (as necessary, .. LOL), but always the motivator of one committed to the plan, inquisitive as to the end-results. Detailed assessments were undertaken periodically throughout the term, to ensure on-track, with (kilo) targets set on a milestone-specific basis.Emily, my personal trainer, a dedicated fitness professional, applied her technical expertise to ensure my fitness regime was a responsible, and well-executed one, given my starting position. The focus was on strengthening my core, and building on the quality of body movements, increasing weightage in a staged manner. She was flexible, supportive and accommodating in her approach, and brought variety to the fitness programme (exercises and/or apparatus deployed). Very little cardio work was undertaken, that was for me to address outside of the forum of the three-weekly EF one-on-one sessions.The programme was undertaken in a secure, and safe environmentat a time when the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc world over as-is; a primary focus for the well-being of staff, and clients alike was in evidence through out, with temperature-screening, social distancing sanitization of apparatus post-usage, and cleaning of changing facilities /restrooms on an ongoing basis.On completion of the programme, I can safely say its the best decision I have made in a long while. Whilst the programme comes at a cost (it is not inexpensive), the service offering is truly TOP-NOTCH, the attention to detail is SECOND TO NONE, and the educational aspect PRICELESS.Against the backdrop of work commitments, yet glad I chose not to procrastinate and start the programme a later date, I am pleased to report- a near-8 kilo weight (9%) reduction, in line with target (84.7, to 77),- a 32% fall in body fat (23.5%, to 16%),- maintenance of a constant lean-mass index.The above is merely the START of a body /life transformation experience.My thanks to EFD, my personal gratitude to Harjeet, and Emily for their educational insight providedThe product comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDPROVEN RESULTS

The 8 week transformation program with embody had been an awesome experience for me. I lost 5 kgs and 5% body fat in this short time. A big thanks to Bec and Harjeet. Bec my PT is a fantastic trainer and knew how to motivate me, she made each of my training session challenging but rewarding. My initial assessment was done by Harjeet(knows his job!!, great guy) and there after he followed up almost daily to ensure I follow a healthy diet and lifestyle. He taught me which foods encourage a healthier lifestyle and healthier living. Thanks guys. My energy level is really good and I am now way stronger and fitter.The gym is sanitized regularly and strict social distancing protocols are implemented. At first, I did not know much about Embody’s approach to training. I came to Embody to see if they can help me with my upper body issues and injuries that I kept sustaining from HIIT workouts which would ground me for a long time until I recovered. My goal was to strengthen and condition the upper body to be less susceptible to injuries.My wife and I decided to find out what Embody was all about. We contacted Embody and met with David. We discussed our goals and then he set us up with Fadel. I went in for my initial assessment with Fadel and explained what exactly brought me to Embody to see if they can help. Fadel took the information I gave him and came back with a plan to tackle the problems head on. It was a plan where I needed to have a clean slate mentality and go back to the core basics of strength training and conditioning, in addition to regulating my nutrition. It was something that required quite the commitment from my side, but what I appreciated about Fadel’s approach was how he was with me every step of the way and made me feel that it was a collaboration rather than instructional and one-sided. Fadel is quite experienced and is definitely someone who knows their stuff and who can adapt to situations and road bumps as they occurred along the way. It is for sure a new experience and is different from what I was used to do before. My routine was fast-paced and explosive, with Fadel as it is more about the accuracy and isolation of the movement.I am very happy with my results, and I have been injury free all throughout these 3 months. I feel my upper body’s been strengthened and is now sturdier to do the workouts I used to do prior to joining Embody.On top of that, and after following the nutrition plan religiously for 3 strict months, there were healthy changes to my body as a result:Body fat (%)20.8 to 11.5 (9% down)Body fat (kg)16 to 8 (8kg down)Lean body mass (kg)60.5 to 64.5 (4kg increase)This experience at Embody and working with Fadel has taught me to make better nutritional choices in addition to change the way I consume food. The perfect workout environment. An added bonus is the food and protein shake bar.I personally worked with Coach Harjeet Singh great down to earth guy that has helped me day in day out , kept me motivated through the tough times as well with his guidance and counsel. Another part of the program that elevated my experience was the nutrition with Saul and Tim great guys they were on of the causes of my transformation which was 13 Kilos in 10 weeks a massive achievement by myself and the team one for the books. My experience at Embody Fitness has been wonderful and incredibly rewarding. When I first entered, I didnt know what to expect, but the staff have all been absolutely helpful and wonderful. Facilities are clean and always sanitized, the gym space is generously spacious and the trainers are incredibly informative.I had the pleasure of working with Fadel as part of my 14-week transformation program, which consisted of personal training and a nutritional plan amongst other things. Ive worked with many personal trainers in the past but Fadel made training incredibly fun and motivating to come back for the next session. He assessed my capabilities and managed to push them to the limits, and even found ways for me to do specific exercises that I havent done with anyone else, while also explaining the benefits of doing specific workouts in certain ways. Fadel has always been available for me if I had any questions, and for the times I quivered and had my off-days, he was there to motivate me right back. Alongside his productive workout plan, I had a customized nutritional plan to follow. It was difficult as first, as with making any changes to a diet, but as soon as I saw the results come in, sticking to it was simple. After the program, Im 14 kgs lighter, definitely put on some muscle, and I feel alot more confident and stronger now, which is just what I needed after the quarantine madness we recently had. I firmly believe my transformation would not have been as successful as it was if it wasnt for Fadel, and this is the calibre one should expect when signing up with Embody Fitness.P.S He also makes the best whey protein shakes, but I havent had the chance to tell him that (haha)

Embody Fitness is the best and most rewarding gym I have attended. The gym itself is state of the art with excellent facilities. It never feels too busy or over bearing and is a great space just to focus on the workout.However, the most compelling reason to try Embody are the trainers and especially mine: Amanda Jenkins.Amanda is fun to work with and we have lots of laughs but more importantly she pushes hard and really is an expert at what she does. The sessions are always changing so it never gets boring or routine and are always challenging. The gym is so well set-up - never crowded but with a fun atmosphere and a real sense of community among both the clients and trainers.My trainer, Tim Richards, is extremely knowledgeable. Simply superb! This is not your run of the mill environment to train in. The staff are always polite, and happy to see you, and get to know you! In terms of the training, I took part in semi private lessons, which had no more than 4 normal (I say normal as this is not about being body shamed or made to feel you are inadequate) souls all on the same health and fitness journey. The simple, little bits of knowledge given to me about my posture and targets set were exactly what I needed to keep coming back. The gym floor itself is 21st century to the max, as a former athlete, it made me feel like I was back at the top level again! If you are new to Dubai, give these guys a try - the term used a lot during my lessons was body sculpting...for the fees you pay (and they have affordable plans, do ask!), its worth every penny!!!

Having a lot of fun while working out and receiving encouragement from not just your own trainer but the others as well is a big motivational factor when going there.I was lucky to train with Richard over the past months and not only is he great at pushing you towards your goals in the gym, he also pays a big part in getting my mental game in place so i stay focused outside the gym on a daily basis.I can highly recommend Richard to anybody who wants to see great results. If you want to be transformed - go there! What an amazing Club with the best PT I have seen in the last 15 years I am in Dubai. I trained 4 times a week, had a good coach that watched my diet and after 6 months I lost half my body fat (that was my goal), I gained knowledge about nutrition and how to correctly do the exercise.This is one of the most expensive clubs - but then again, if you do something, do it right. Go for a consultation and check-it our for yourself.

I dont think I will be able to recommend Embody fitness enough. I had spent years going to gyms on my own and trying every fad diet to get some benefit from working out, but never being able to get the results I wanted. From my first meeting with the owners (James and Sharare), I knew Embody was going to be different, and was I right!I did a 12 week transformation, and thats exactly what has happened to me. With the help, guidance and support of the staff I have completely changed my nutrition and training. Embody is not just a gym, if you are willing to put in the work (and it is hard work, but everything worth having is!), they will make you a healthier and happier person. The facilities and equipment they have are impeccable, but what sets embody apart for me are the people.From the start I was welcomed, supported and really treated as an individual. My trainer was Morgan, and credit where its due, he was exactly who I needed. He made it fun for me to be in there, even when it was tough and I was struggling with my fitness. He knew exactly when I needed a break to recover, but also when I needed a kick to push myself to what I was capable of doing. I always had a smile on my face when I was working out, and that was down to him. Rob, the head of training, was always available to chat to me about my nutrition questions and keep me on track with where I was and how I could make my goal. He is quite literally a fountain of knowledge when it came to how the body worked, and answered every question I had by explaining the science behind what we were doing. And thats the thing with Embody, you are not just given one training plan and left. You are constantly monitored and your training adjusted to suit you and what you are trying to achieve.If you have an injury, or think you couldnt do it because you get a sore back, knees etc when you train, embody is the place for you! I had dislocated my shoulder 14 years ago, and had subconsciously been protecting it since, but it now feels stronger than ever. The guys know how to work with you and will build you up at your bodys rate and you wont believe what you are capable of.I havent even mentioned the rest of the staff, who even though they might not deal with you directly, always stop for a chat and see how you are progressing. Everyone here cares about getting you the results you want. Going to Embody is an investment in your health and happiness, and in my opinion, thats priceless.

I’ve been to Gym’s all over Dubai and have gone through many trainers over the past 15+ years ranging from Strength training through to Calesthenics. None have come even remotely close to the experience that I have had and I’m currently enjoying at Embody. Everything about this experiential personal training facility is thought off thoroughly from the time you think you want to train till the drive back home.At first I was hesitant but after an hour long chat with James Miller (CEO) I decided to give the transformation package a try.Rob Richards, the director of training and in house nutritionist, met with me for my first assessment and to set my diet, supplementation and training plan. After the first two sessions of training directly with Rob and following his meal plan I knew this was different and he knew exactly what he was doing which was understanding my anatomies capability and limitations (for now!).Few sessions in and I’m still discovering new things and pushing myself harder to achieve the goals that were set. It does help that you get retested every 10-14 days to ensure you’re on track.Rob is one of the best trainers I have ever come across and knows exactly what your individual needs are to ensure you achieve your end goal.The facilities is top notch from the showers, juice bar, sports therapy and meal delivery if required.Trainers are global olympians and professionals who love what they do and focus on doing what is best for their client.Transformation programs at its best! Great facilities and personnel. Client focus and results are at the very core of what this gym provides. Rob and Amanda have been absolutely critical in helping me meet my specific objectives.Regular assessments, tailoring my training program to my work schedule and a focus on technique to iron out any bad form has been amazing with the benefit of experiencing a huge improvement in strength and balance. Time in the gym has supplemented with guidance on nutrition (exactly what to eat and how much)impact of environment (sleep/stress) and tips on how to manage these factors.It also helps that the environment in the gym is social, positive and collaborative. Amanda is always positive and finds a way to get through sessions on days when you walk into the gym with low energy. Gyms have always been a hit or a miss for me for various reasons. It can be a little boring/tedious/embarrassing trying to squeeze past the muscle bound super heroes, admiring themselves in the mirror, or more recently taking selfies. I therefore have typically taken the high road and tried to keep fit by running, or procuring gym equipment for the house gym. The “House gym” that sees action for the first week, and is then retired to “clothes horse” duties, until offloaded via some dodgy website. The home training method can work if you are a motivated person, and the right side of 40yrs. It gets difficult once you hit that magic number. I took the leap of faith with regards to joining Embody fitness, after reading an article in the Men’s health magazine. I have been pleasantly surprised by the results. I am now the same weight as I was as a pre-selfie 20 something year old, and feeling extremely fit and healthy. Embody for me is more than “just another gym”. It has become a life changing experience. The personal trainers(PT) are exactly that. They are both personal, and personable and they make you feel very comfortable, while at the same time, inflicting subtle pain. Although I have had the same PT for the duration of my membership, it has been very easy to strike a rapport with all of the trainers. I do however have to single out my little fire cracker (Morgan Ward). Morgan has the ability to inflict pain, while sporting a cheeky little grin, and a dodgy 1980’s hair style, but he carries it off with copious flair and plenty of ability. My initial plan was to participate in the Embody “transformation” program, and then move on, with my perfectly honed and newly transformed body to my “house gym”, where I intend to continue with my new lifestyle under my own steam. Unfortunately the post 40yrs motivation is still and issue, and I have continued to renew my embody membership every time I get close to the end of my term(I think they would miss me). A word to the wise! If you decide to embark on this adventure. Make sure that you fully embrace the experience, and follow the nutritional plan alongside the training. There is no point in facing the pain, and then heading to the bar. You need to fully embrace the “Life changing experience” and you will see the amazing results. You will get used to eating steak at 7am……

No Nonsense, no holds barred training. Ive been doing the private sessions for a couple of months with Tim and its been great! Im seeing results steadily and thats what counts. #FitGoals The trainers here have the sports & nutritional acumen needed to encourage & educate folks during training and post training. They even have semi-private class. If I had a squad to train with I would totally bring them on. #SquadGoalsI appreciate the additional layer of accountability I get by coming to Embody. Incredible fitness club that originated in London and has just opened its first club in Dubai. They provide transformation programmes focusing on everything you need included training, nutrition, supplementation, sports therapy and even meal delivery if you need it. Their facility is luxury and world class and their team contains olympians and professionals from all over the world. I lost 12kg and 10pct body fat in 10 weeks. Their results speak for themselves but I would recommend them to anyone who is serious about getting results.

Back in November 2017, the itch to want to “look my best” at my wedding in February started to grow. I wasn’t a gym newbie - in fact, I loved to do cardio workouts frequently throughout the week - but was frustrated that my efforts didn’t translate into fat loss, or any significant muscle definition. I was stubbornly ‘skinny fat.’I began to look into starting personal training sessions and researched many options available in Dubai. Embody Fitness’ programme seemed to be the best match for me; I wanted personal training with well qualified professionals in a gym where I wouldn’t have to wait 5 or 10 minutes to use a machine or contraption because another random gym member was using it. I wanted to learn effective ways of building muscle strength guided by dedicated individuals who were genuinely interested in helping you achieve your goals. I wanted to be challenged in a positive environment. Embody Fitness promised to meet all those expectations, and could give me life-changing nutritional advice to boot.My Embody Fitness journey began with a consultation meeting with its owner James. He listened to my goals, and explained how Embody Fitness’ programme worked. I received a tour of the premises (which, by the way, is excellent - calm, clean, there’s a juice bar, great selection of gym equipment).This meeting was soon followed by an appointment with Rob. He explained the workout regiment I was going to embark on, checked my mobility, and educated me about a diet plan which changed my perspective on nutrition for the best. (Rob is a fitness and nutrition guru. Pick his brain if you have the chance! He has buckets full of useful knowledge and techniques to offer you - he doesn’t just explain the ‘whats’, but also the ‘why’s’). I still adopt his invaluable nutritional advice into my everyday life because it is so freakin’ dang effective. Adjusting my eating habits didn’t start off easy (changing diet usually takes a good bout of psychological determination), but my husband was very supportive and I was very eager, and through persistence the weight rolled off spectacularly fast. During the 12-week programme that I signed up for, I met with Rob at three week intervals to measure my fat percentage and review my diet. This had the effect of motivating me to stick to the parameters of my programme, because I saw measurable data that proved I was getting the results I was working so hard for.The fat loss was further aided by the help from the personal trainer that I was paired with: Amanda Jenkins. She’s a kick-ass, inspiring professional who loves her job! 🙌🏻 Be ready for a healthy dose of aches and pains from her (but no injuries!), and well-earned high-fives when you surpass your personal bests (and you will!). I felt challenged in every workout that I did with her, and stronger with every week that passed. The workouts were varied and never the same. I learned a lot of different strength exercises, and quickly realised I could raise my heart rate to the same level as I did running on a treadmill, with simple movements that incorporated weights and resistance training. Cardio and strength training in one! A new world opened up.At Embody Fitness your heart rate is monitored throughout your workout sessions and translated into ‘zones’ according to your maximum heart rate. This allows both you and your trainer to monitor your effort level throughout your session and it actually encourages you to compete with yourself. You will always know how many calories you burned at the end of the workout too.I have mentioned three names in my review, but Embody Fitness is a family. All its staff make up a very friendly team of people, and I always felt comfortable and supported by each and everyone of them.In February I celebrated my wedding in Dubai, and felt absolutely fabulous. I lost a good deal of fat (I achieved a low 14% body fat), I was proud of my strengthened curves, and felt healthy on the inside too.Thank you Embody for the positive influence you have had on my life and health!
