Last Thursday we visited The Cavendish Restaurant in Bonnington Tower for Iftar. The restaurant is spacious with a well laid out buffet and live station area. Loved their buffet selection and the utterly delicious desserts were the highlight of the Iftar buffet. The service was outstanding and definitely would visit the restaurant again.

Went there for the breakfast buffet. It was really kool, friendly staff. We always get a discount. They have pork sausages and bacon!! Lovely ambience and they would validate your parking. Whats not to love!

Celebrated my birthday here in Cavendish and all I can say is sumptuous food shouldnt be costly. Had a great time with truly crazy rich asian friends.

We were there fir a business network function. The buffet was good and the service was polite and friendly.

Visited on a seafood night buffet.. selection was lacking in variety.. only saving Grace was that their fresh oyster...

Very nice buffet with a lot of fresh food to choose from. Pancakes and omelettes à la minute. Fresh fruits and juices every morning. You can go for a healthy meal or for a soulfood meal depending on your mood. Very attentive and kind staff.

We had our daughters wedding reception held at the hotel and it was the best decision made. Ive never met such a great staff,Ms. Christina has been very friendly and always there to look into things and keep the agenda under control. Mr. Mullah sure makes you feel special and happy . And the food is Amazing!!! The chef, Mr. Khalid gave us the best Indian spread n the desserts were just excellent . It has now become Our favourite place to dine . Wonderful place and staffs are so accomodating

Had a galadinner there yesterday. Nothing stood out food wise. Just the average quality.Service not good. Glasses even full were removed without asking around closing time and AC conveniently suddenly stopped working. Felt pushed out and will never return

The food was very good, i consider this restaurant a bench mark when evaluating and or choosing buffets, in both price and food quality.the staff were a bit occupied and it took them time to cleanup and attend to your requests at the times i came to the restaurant but to be fair i came at a busy times for Ramadan Iftar

We visited the restaurant as part of a large party for a Friday brunch. In total we had 10 adults and 4 children. There was a lot of confusion when we arrived and were seated at a table for 12. We thought we must have another overspill table adjacent but that was not the case. We were then informed that they do not usually seat the children as they can eat in the play room - trying to pass this of as being normal. We were told that they had already given the 2 extra seats as a courtesy but they dont usually do it.When 2 additional adults showed up it made things worse but, had the correct number of places been allocated in the first place, adding another 2 place settings would not have been a problem. There were no tables in the play room for the children and they should be eating with their parents in any case. We ended up with 2 children on laps and the other 2 perched on the edge of the table.The service was all over the place to start with - which, on top of the seating debacle, just added to the stress. None of us get to go out with the children very often so we were all a bit disappointed - making the service probably seem worse than it was.The service settled down in the end. The drinks were served swiftly and with a smile. Our waiter made an effort with the children which was appreciated.The buffet was not great. Only a small buffet selection with some meals from the menu. The roast dinners, although taking an age to be served, were brilliant. The portions were small so seconds are in order but the food tasted great. A friend had the fishermans pie which was not to her taste - far too salty and full of what seemed like leftovers which were on the turn (probably what a proper fishermans pie was for).We were there using pre-paid vouchers with a 50% discount and thought things were bad. If I had paid full price I would have been far more disappointed.Visited September 2012

Enjoyed Christmas Eve at The Cavendish. Very tasty menu. Very good foie gras and turkey. But the wine served was charged too expensive so we ended up skipping it. Beautifully decorated this evening. The firecracker was a nice touch.

Sitting outside, dishes were good, good shisha, good music, not too loud, so not distracting and not irritating. Definetely liked.

Nice, organized place with good food.
