Great food for sure. The starters are my favourite the mains were not so great but they made it up with the service. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The only thing I would say is that sometimes they were clearing too quickly before everyone was done eating. Its a bit awkward to clear plates when some are still eating. All in all I loved this experience. I will definitely come back for the lunch maybe try a la carte this time around.

No doubt they have really amazing food with lots of flavours you will totally relish. the chefs do manage to put up a great show while serving the dishes on the menu. However the general service was not up-to the mark, the staffs just seem to be in a hurry to get done with each service for the sake of it so they can move on.. Seriously Ive seen much better service in other restaurant I dont wish to name here...

Excellent food/service/ambience as always, but the explanations for each dish gets a little old after the 10th time there. From their chefs tastings menu, all items are excellent, EXCEPT the soft shell crab. It has no flavour or taste, and just tastes like a deep fried something. They would do well to substitute the crab for something else. However on the same platter, the king prawn (singular) is absolutely amazing. We were there recently for a birthday celebration and they did a unique and delicious deconstructed chocolate cake for us!

Went there for a birthday celebration and submitted the request through Zomato, explaining what is desired, but I can say it is the worst place for a birthday celebration and most of their food tasted below average with a terrible service, for the most part.I liked that they gave us their pre-starter, sorbet to transition from starter to main course and their cotton candy dessert.Starters:1. Chaat trolley (vegetarian): nice dish and lovely sauce but it is extremely cold. I know he said that it will be cold because of nitrate, but it was too cold. 2/52. Butter pepper garlic prawn (non-vegetarian): It was soft, the sauce was somewhat warm but it was warm in the right way. 5/53. Tandoori lamb chops (non): too well done. A bit salty. Undesirable. Hard to chew. 1/54. Chicken tikka (non) (or it was something else not sure): soft; easy to chew. The sauce makes it better. 5/5Main course (non-vegetarian):1. Chicken butter: too salty. The biryani didn’t help much in enhancing its flavour, or balance the overall flavours. 1/52. Bengali Kosha: The sauce was also terrible. The naan helped. 1/53. Beef short ribs: it was chopped to small pieces. Too salty and inedible. Required naan for enhancement; biryani was even better with it. 1/5Side:1. Naan plain and butter: Both are delicious and balanced the flavour of the main dishes 5/52. Biryani plain: Similar to the naan; balanced the flavours. It was individually great as well 5/5Drink:1. Lava lamp: The process was enjoyable to view. One is enough for two people. The pouring process wasn’t balanced with the blueberries and passion fruit, had to request more. The cup wasn’t the proper to absorb the blueberries easily with each sip. I tried the mango, others tried the green apple.2. Lassi: I didn’t try it, so no feedback.Food and drink overall: their starters tasted well, for the most part, but their main courses lacked greatly and require a side dish or two and drink, juice and it’s mikes. Water will not be sufficient. I didn’t hear complaints about the drinks, so they must be good.Service:At the beginning, it took them over 10 minutes just to help us with the menu despite drawing the attention of many waiters. As they the waiter was helping us with the menu, he only recommended one dish and he didn’t give us proper feedback on the dishes that we suggested. Moreover, he encouraged us to order more (a huge indicator that he wants money more than customer satisfaction) but when we asked him « don’t you think it’s enough for 5? » then he said « yes, but you might need more ». What we needed was less because we already ordered a lot, and since we didn’t know the quantity of the food, he should’ve been honest with us or asked us how much we like to eat so he can analyse, but nope, he was greedy. Also, their food wasn’t delicious, so less is better.Onto the dessert to celebrate the birthday. We ordered Dulat Ki Chaat. It is the second item on the menu from the dessert list (as of 20th of August, 2020). It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t horrible either. 2/5However, the celebration for the birthday, which is our main purpose to come, was horrible. We didn’t get any special music or the waiters and waitress didn’t gather to sing for us. We didn’t get anything special or elaborative. Moreover, they dared to bring the balloons (which we bought individually but requested they bring it with the dessert) before they bring the dessert. So, the birthday girl saw the balloons and knew it was for her because it was close to our table, so she wasn’t surprised. Hence, they deserve 0/5.I would have given them 2/5 if our main wasn’t a birthday celebration that they knew of beforehand. Moreover, their food wasn’t delicious and was overly priced. I wonder if their food is expensive because they supposedly give us « free dishes ».Thanks for ruining the celebration and being unfit for your supposed standard and expensive-useless-menu.

One of my favourite restaurants to take guests from out of town. From Singaporeans, Indians to Europeans, there has been nothing but praises.Would be five stars for me if they lessen salt content and strong up-selling effort. The last time we went, we ordered a bottle of wine for a group of 6 (knowing that it won’t be much for all of us but most were small-time drinkers anyway). We were busy catching up and didn’t realize that the waiter had poured into 5 glasses and left the 6th empty. He stood there and asked, “another bottle? It’s not enough.” Not cool!

The experience was average. Staff were extremely good. The reason I would rate it average is coz of the ambiance n meat. When making reservation and seeking advice, I was told to first try the restaurant since I cld experience the 9 course menu. The ambience was dull for me and very average. Secondly the meat in d food was frozen and I did not expect that since it’s a 5 star cuisine. The frozen meat usually has a smell and I’m allergic to it. Was just disappointed with it but the chat and other dishes was extremely good. I love the presentation of the food. Worth a try.

Tresind has been one of my favourite places the day they have started here in Dubai and you know what they have started it since the Yr. 2014. They have brought in innovative indian cuisine into the market and definitely you will have one of the best fine dining experiences here. They are located on Level 2 of Voco Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. A modern Indian restaurant constantly working in new concepts.Well I happened to try their new menu and their presentation along with taste was definitely mind blowing. The initial welcome is with this aromatic smoke from the vessel. Pretty amazing. Then Started with the below Amouse Bouche. For drinks we had their famous lava passion fruit with berries. Then came in the Mordenist Chaat Trolley, a live demonstration was done in front of the table. It was delicious. Then came in the Galouti Kebab Cannoli, perfectly cooked and along with the mint chutney was amazing.Next dish was something for us to make on the table itself. Roti that needs to be filled with Chicken Chettinad khurchan, a bit of scallion poriyal along with coconut chutney. I didn’t stop with one. Then came in the Padron Pepper Pakoda filled with Yoghurt Mousse and it was perfect match with the raw mango chutneyAs a pallet cleanser came in the Yuzu and Blueberry sorbet. This was something everyone should try, The Barramundi Musallam (Fish) with garlic chutney, pickled ginger and scallion. You will find gold dust over the dish and oh yes definite recommendation. This is something I wished to have that day and it was on my table, the famous Hyderabadi Haleem – Chilli lamb pickle, ginger, mint & fried onion and gold dust over it. Lovely and flavoursome, haleem was so heavenly. The appam along with Prawns curry was the perfect combo I would say. Then was the dessert, how can they come up with such presentation,First one was the Raj Kachori chaat along with Tutti Fruity Ice-cream and Angori RasamalaiThen was the Rabri Parantha with Mithai Ice cream and angoori masalaAnd the last one was the Mysore Pak with Filter coffee. This is something I loved.Who wouldn’t want the cotton candy at the end.All in all, the experience was mind blowing and surely will next time.

Tresind: Experiential Dining .It’s not every day that you come across a restaurant dinner that truly leaves you with a smile everytime you think about it. @tresinddubai doesn’t just offer you a tasty meal, they make it a wonderful experience for all your senses. Yes, you heard me right! All you SENSES! It’s a food journey that you will keep thinking about. .Let me walk you through our Tresind Dinner Date. .Tresind is located on the second floor of @vocohoteldubai on Sheik Zayed Road (Valet Parking available). We walked into the restaurant which is painted in all hues of blue with a touch of modern Indian designs. .We were seated as soon as we walked into the restaurant. We were presented the menu and as usual, we were super confused as on what to order! We were told that we could try their set menu and that way we will be able to experience multiple dishes in smaller portion size- I was so happy to hear this since I love trying more dishes without wasting food. We were on Keto diet and they were happy to serve us accordingly. .Here is a breakdown of our experience with the various dishes that we tried:.-As soon as we were seated, a beautiful Jug with liquid nitrogen was placed on the table and out came smoke with a beautiful aroma. It definitely was a beautiful way to say hello our senses. - We started with an Amuse-Bouche platter with bite-sized hors d’oeuvre of :o Pani-purio Foxnuts (AKA Makhna) with salsa dipo Indian Sushi (Cucumber wrap with Curd rice)o Focaccia bread with onion salsa. - The platter was followed by a series of appetizers that was made beside the table while the server explained to us how he was making it and what was special about each ingredient.Time for Appetizers! We had Garlic Butter Pepper Prawns which was loaded with different veggies, followed by Cheese Fondou chicken, Garlic bread. We have the best appetizer for the last which was the most succulent Tandoori chicken that was smoked in cedar wood using a blow torch. It was served in charred pineapple sheet and man on man! It was smelling so good, looked so interesting and the combination tasted even better. I had my doubts about pineapple while I saw it getting made but one bite of the combination of it all made me a believer in the Chef’s vision. - We were served with a Lava Lamp drink which was Mango-Passion fruit mix infused with multiple berries in front of us on the table with liquid nitrogen. The beautiful blend of sweet and sour tasted absolutely blissful.Next came the most magical looking Palate cleanser.🤗🤤 Definitely take a look at the picture ( and videos on Instagram at @irene_freespirit) because words cannot describe the magical feeling perfectly. It looked amazing on a lemon bearing bonsai tree. The palate cleanser was a lemon blueberry sorbet served in a dried lemon shell. - Now it’s time for Main Course: We had Chicken meatball, Hyderabadi dum ki Machli (Fish) and Morel Mushroom Lababdar. I have to give a special mention to the Morel Lababdar. Morel is a beautiful rare mushroom that literally melts in your mouth and bursts into thousand flavors! Lababdar gravy was made with Truffle oil Tadka that added a unique element to the already flavourful Lababdar 🔥🔥 - Now it was time to say hello to our dessert. It was put together on our table and it was a visual treat and we just couldn’t wait to taste it as it was building our anticipation. It was Mango sorbet on Rice cake with Pistachio fudge. It looked amazing and tasted absolutely brilliant. 💯 We tried not to have more of dessert but we both had more of it and gladly fell out of Keto and trust me, it was worth it ❤️🔥It was a beautiful experience and I can’t wait for the next special occasion to visit this place again.Note:- They are very spacious to host a large group of guests and are willing to do table setting accordingly- well, I know this because I saw how they quietly & quickly arranged 2-3 tables together for a group of 10-12 people on the other side of the restaurant.- They have offers on Entertainer App & also 20% discount on ENBD cards.

We chose Tresind to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend recently (06th August 2021 (Friday)) which turned out to be an appalling experience. The food and ambiance of the restaurant were decent but the quality of services rendered by the staff deployed was horrendous. With every interaction, the service staff showed negative attitudes through their expressions and gestures. After a point of time, we decided to highlight the issue to restaurant manager Praful and Head Chef Himanshu. Both were open to feedback and noted our grievances. However, to my surprise, they did not initiate any service recovery and later I realized that it was a complete waste of time and money. As its an upscale outlet, we expected BEST services to be delivered for what premium price we were paying to celebrate the special day.The management of Tresind was informed verbally that this will be our last visit and they should not expect us to promote their restaurant to anyone.I feel for the investor of the restaurant as am sure that they have put in a lot of efforts to bring together all required elements to elevate the dining experience but missed out on the most essential one, Service.Absolute appalling experience after paying AED 4,000+ for dinner.

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!” The most apt saying anyone can say after their visit to Tresind. It is one of the most beautiful and classy restaurant, with one of the best theoretical experience. Tresind is a restaurant that has an ambiance of royalty with staff so polite and welcoming.Chef Himanshu at Tresind never ceases to amaze you with his extra ordinary concepts and unique presentations. The food at Tresind is not just a treat to your taste buds but your eyes as well. The staff is well educated about each dish and they will be very pleased to serve you the best and recommend items as per your taste buds. They put customer experience and satisfaction as the main priority. We visited the restaurant to try out the tasting menu worth AED 200 consisting of a 12 course meal. We opted for both veg and non- veg to enjoy the best of both worlds. Before the food journey begins, they first place a mood enhancing smoke at the table which has an amazing fragrant and is a visual delight to get you ready for the culinary journey.Later comes in a nice spread of Amuse Bouche, which includes Cute little Pani Puri shots – cold and burst with tantalizing flavors in the mouth, next is the dahi papdi – two papdi stuffed in between with hunged yoghurt which a fresh twist on a classic dahi papdi that is one of the favorite street food. Other two items were the Corn tart and Boondi Boonda, I could eat a whole plate of those boondi bonda as it tasted exquisite with smashed potatoes fillings and crispy boondi coating on top.For the appetizers came in a very unique and palate pleasing to our astonishment I would say – Dhokla with a tadka of passion fruit. A dish that radiates with the vibrancy of spring with all its colors is also a perfect triumvirate of flavors. Paneer and chicken cafreal was crispy, crunch and delightful as each painstakingly selected ingredient contributed to the greatness of the dish.Being a person who cannot have a spoon of curry without any bread the next two items quite amazed me as the mutter and truffle korma and lamb Nihari were a real crowd pleaser. I could literally lick that korma clean from the bowl, as it was bursting with intense flavors and alluring aromas. They have a very interesting take on benedicts too, with their versions being topped with avocado kebab for the veggies and tandoori chicken or prawn for the non-vegetarians.For the mains the classic pumpkin salaam, Tawa aloo, chicken curry and gosht were made with only the finest ingredients and were packed with flavors and served alongside green peas puri that just transforms the everyday home food into a work of art.Coming to the desserts- The inspiration kulfi falooda which is an old-fashioned favorite modernized into their special cooking technique. Served in a bowl with an white chocolate egg shell on top filled with rabri that oozes out when smashed with a spoon. A mix of chocolate, rabri, rose granite amd falooda sev, which is worth the calories! Next was the Yuzu Tart with aamrass, although that aamrass swirl on the top was a confectionary masterpiece, however, in our opinion there is little room for improvement in the dessert. How could I miss out the very refreshing and delightful drinks – the lava lamp and the Gold Colada. The lava lamp was a harmonious blend of mango and passion fruit and filled generously with berries for those refreshing flavors. The gold colada is the classy creamy Virgin Pina Colada that has a tropically refreshing taste.

Tresind, two non-vegetarian menus, AED550, cocktails and waterA cobalt cocoon welcomes you to Trèsind with its cooling walls as if to submerge you into their generously open space restaurant which invites to come in, get comfortable and stay a while. It curates an atmosphere where there is no rush for you to leave; a welcomed break from restaurants where they insist on telling you about table turn around times (few things infuriate me more than this). In here lies my lasting impression with Tresind: the embrace of curating an experience for customers; some restaurants do this very well. This is more than serving food in exchange for payment. Our guided tour through the odyssey of their menu is done with a sense of private occasion and entertainment from the table side assembly of dishes, the thoughtful and attentive discussion of the food menu, each course, ingredients in each course and the drinks list. The Tresind team proudly talk about the origin of the dishes and the group effort to assemble the Team Eleven, one of their signature cocktails. Their signature “Petit Pours: V” made of gin, dehydrated rose, pineapple juice and house made bitters is presented with a minor ceremony and intrigue as the drink is decanted from a clay ‘tower’ at the table. There is benevolent and considered attention to detail at Tresind both in the experience and the final product which motivates me to come back time and time again - as well as visit their other offerings at Carnival, A Cappella and the adjacent Studio (the 16 course tasting menu is sublime). This is contemporary Indian food meaning the menu draws inspiration from known dishes or ingredients but these are modernised and re-imagined. As I am not skilled and familiar with many of the original dishes, I suspend criticism about authenticity which may be a factor for some. The dishes, as they are, are thoroughly enjoyable.Highlights include the Gucchi Mushroom Chai, a deep broth of rare wild morel mushrooms with petals of dehydrated mushroom and a truffle oil rendered to a powder to resemble powdered milk which melts resulting in a warming and comforting “chai” that envelops you like a heavy tog duvet on a winter’s day in front of a fire. We ordered a second portion; a course that would render the most ardent vegan cynic humbly silenced. A smoked chicken tikka dish torched table side lends a subtle smoke to the already crimson-spiced chicken served on a torched pineapple carpaccio balances spice, fresh sweet fruitiness reminiscent of a chutney brought together by a subtle smoked flavour. The Guuchi mushroom curry with cashew butter sauce presented a phalanxes towel of morel mushrooms cooked gently and served with freshly made breads is a warming dish which we (politely) fought over. A palate cleanser of blueberry and lemon sorbet is presented playfully at the roots of miniature lemon tree with cooling dry ice billowing out: the palate cleanser is both sharp and sweet and the dry ice is a bit of fun directly from Wonka’s lab. This builds on the herbaceous fragranced dry ice smoke planted at the beginning of the meal to refresh guests as they arrive. For dessert? The mango, pistachio and milk dessert rounds off the meal and entertainment as this is assembled table side with layers of different types of sweet milk, a ring of pistachio and a crown of intense mango purée in sorbet form in concentric rings which trigger the trypophobic and dusted with mango powder, silver and a whole rose dipped in liquid nitrogen and cracked over the dessert. This sharing dessert is stronger than the other dessert which is a modernised kulfi dish with vermicelli noodles (I have an aversion to noodles and rice in desserts...).Would I come back to Tresind? Absolutely. There is a sense of occasion throughout the experience which makes this one of my favourite restaurants in Dubai. It’s playful but capable carefully balancing the need to delivery excellent food without the trappings of formality that plagues fine dining restaurants.

Tresind is one place which never ceases to amaze us with the variety of dishes. We got to try the Chef’s tasting Menu ( non-veg) at Tresind recently and was really impressed by the creativity .From snacks we had Dahi papadi, Frozen pani puri, Boondi bonda and Corn tart . Boondi Vonda was the best among all. The presentation was really unique as usual. From starters,We tried Passions fruit Dhokla, in this there was steamed rice cake which is soaked in chilled passion fruit juice flavoured with coconut, curry leaves and mustard. The flavors were on point.Next was Chicken Cafreal , a Goan dish served with crispy fried Shiso leaf. Biting down the crispy leaf with chicken was blissful.Lamb Nihari- pulled lamb cooked in spices and along with bone marrow stock curry was delicious too. A crispy factor would have made it more delicious.Prawn benedict-Tandoori prawn served with English muffin along with desi ghee hollandaise sauce. A fusion dish which will please any taste buds. For palate cleanser we had Blue berry and yuzu sorbet. I really loved it.For the Main course we had ,Bengali Kosha mangsho an Indian dish that is prepared from mutton and originated in Bengal along with green peas Kachori and Home style Chicken Curry. Both the curries were delicious and the kachori was crispy too. From desserts we had Mango and yuzu tart with pistachio fudge. I really loved the presentation. We have to dig the spoon all the way down to taste every flavor. Then came Kulfi falooda which looks nothing like the normal falooda where the rabdi is enclosed in a chocolate shell and vermicelli in the bottom. The truth is I finished both the desserts without any guilty feeling.Verdict- For Aed 200/- per person it is a great deal with these many dishes

Tresind is an iconic modern Indian food and finest fine dinning restaurant located in Voco Hotel in Sheikh Zayed Road. We visited Tresind for dinner and i must admit that it truely deserves a rating no less than 5. No wonder they have One of the best ratings of 4.9 on Zomato. We had a Gastronomic experience with eye pleasing presentation, stunning food, One of the coolest picturesque ambience, calm atmosphere and fantastic service. We went for their tasting menu which i must say was the right choice as we got to taste the best of all their cuisines. The tasting menu takes us to a journey of Culinary ecstasy right from the Starters to the Desserts and Drinks. To start with must admit that we were bowled by their signature drink lava lamp and berry blast served in great style of smoking and bubbling Berries inside a long tube. Lovely presentation!Among wide spread delicacies few notable mentions are Passion fruit dokla, beautifully placed on the juice of passion fruit. Chicken Cafreal was a awesome surprise, full of flavour in each bite. Tandoori prawn Benedict was melt in the mouth softest prawn of jumbo size. The Showstopper was the lamb nihari, soft shredded lamb on the bed of bone marrow stock was divine in every bite you take. I must appreciate that their Chef has worked on perfecting this. For mains we were served Kosha Mangsho and Chicken curry. Both were equally delectable but my favourite being the Kosha Mangsho. Enjoyed the burst of flavour in each bite.To end the scrumptious meal we were served two of the very delicious dessert. The Yuzu tart and the Inspiration kulfi falooda. Dessert was exquisite and very comforting. It had surprisingly great taste, not sugary sweet and absolutely drool worthy.Overall, it is an excellent fine dining restaurant which might make you dig deep into your pockets, but is capable of serving you food of the highest standards. This luxury i am definitely willing to afford 1s in awhile. Go visit, you wont regret.

I visited this fine dining place two weeks ago and this was the best Indian fusion food Ive had in a long time. I tried the Chefs menu and it had various courses. The way the food is presented and served is the highlight of my experience. Most of the dishes are plated finally at the table with so much elegance. Personally I just loved the Wild Mushroom Chai which is superb 👏👏 I also loved the Lamb chops in rosemary reduction and the Super light Desi ghee hollandaise served with the tandoori prawns. Totally yum😋 The mangsho with peas kachori was my favorite in main course and the Desert, dessecrated black forest was the perfect way to finish the affair. It was a classic act, this meal and thoroughly enjoyed. Its expensive yet totally deserving I feel. Most Indian food places I have frequented are very pretentious and expensive but Tresind is a class apart. And before I forget to mention, the lemon sorbet here is to die for!!!Recommend this Fine dining while heartedly 👍

We went for the lunch set menu, expecting a couple of choices for each course. Boy were we in for a treat! The lunch set menu was full of delightful twists on traditional Indian cuisine, and lots of it. We had in excess of 5 different dishes for each course. We also had a few pre-starters!! The food was all that the hype suggested, and then some. To top off a delicious meal, they had paan flavoured cotton candy!!!! Eeek!! I was in heaven!
