I was going to a dinner with family, and we entered into the upstairs lounge which had options of shisha, however we were just here for the food, so thankfully they had a downstairs part which was exempt from smoking. The decor was very nice, everything with attention to details, and it was extremely clean, as were the toilets. We sat down and were presented with a soup, as well as fresh bread and a set of Mediterranean appetizers. I got the lamb shank, and it was definitely a good choice! I must say, I would prefer my meat falling apart usually, but it was still so tender, so I cannot complain! Overall a very nice experience and would definitely return.

Get Iraqi food. Lots of choices in the menu from starters to deserts. Free hot bread from the oven. Free black tea unlimited. A free soup to start with too.Sitting outside gives a great view of the water fountains and Atlantis as a backdrop.

Fnajeen, serving iraqi cuisine. They serve other Levantine dishes as well but I focused on their Iraqi dishes which I found to be delicious. Nice view over the fountain which is a plus. Service is okay and can be improved.

This restaurant offers excellent quality food with an amazing taste. We ordered the lamb shoulder and it was absolutely out of this world! The service is amazing and the staff are very helpful. Best part is the black tea after the heavy meal, it kept coming without us asking!Highly recommended.

If you sit upstairs (smoking area) the view is just incredible and it is very quite during the day! You can see the view very clearly without distractions and can enjoy the amazing view of the fountain as well.Now to the food! We ordered a mix of Kubbah and Dolma. We got free soup before our meal, hot fresh baked Iraqi style bread and free unlimited tea + Arabic coffee. It was extremely wonderful to receive such a service from the restaurant which you wouldn’t find anywhere else!We also had shisha, which is a bit pricy (AED 90) but to be honest, it was the BEST SHISHA i have had since a very very long timeTo add to this, their service is incredibly fast! The food came very quickly which really surprised us! Shisha, tea and general service was also very very quick. There is always someone to check up on you if you need anythingFinally, I just want to mention how amaazinnnngg their food tastes!!!!Genuinely the BEST place in the pointe and one of the very best places in UAE!!

We went to Fnajeen yesterday to celebrate my mum’s Birthday and were not disappointed. The view to the fountain from the second floor’s terrace is wonderful, seating spacious and all the precautionary measures are well established. The staff is wearing masks and gloves at all times.Food: absolutely amazing taste wise and very generous in portions. Salads were fresh and well seasoned, fried calamari crispy to perfection and grilled meat selection enough for four of us and very yummy. While waiting for our table, we were offered lentil soup, which was not only a lovely gesture from the restaurant, but tasted good, too.Service: EVERYONE, literally, everyone!!!!! smiled!!! We felt like kings and queens, no less. We’ve got a birthday cake with a candle and birthday songs in three languages.The Fnajeen offers shisha for quite reasonable price and - being on the terrace guests can be provided with blankets.We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening.

Humiliating and worst experience ever, to be honest we were kicked out in a decent way by the egyptian manager when he sensed that our table is not going to meet his targeted income.After we ordered we saw him whispering with his colleague and he came out with brilliant idea that there is minimum charge per person 120 dirhams excluding shisha (90 dirhams for shisha)The place is so nice but with auch hospitality i would never recommend

The worst hospitality ever , we went there and asked for a table for 3 persons , after being seated and we started to order some appetizers and sheisha , the waiter came back and tell us that we need to order with a minimum amount of 120 AED per person and not it’s including Sheisha !So we told him this is not a nice way to speak to your Resturant Guests specially if there is any minimum charge rule they should have informed us simply before even been seated .

The only reason Im giving it 1 star is due to the very bad service, slow, inattentive. They forget orders and overly packed. The worst of all is the music/band it is blasting to the point you cant hear yourself talk. DO NOT SIT INSIDE. It is really really bad that they are blasting the speakers to this extreme it’s unbearable honestly. We are 5 people on the table staring at each other unable to talk due to the loud music. Horrible. Food was ok not great or something wow. If only I could postca video for you to see how loud it is. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

And when I ordered a plate of different kibbeh I asked for greens with it he said he don’t have and later I ordered different salad and so I found out they have all vegetables and when I asked him he said I have to charge you for green leafs and tomato... To be fair the food was good but usually when I order food in any Iraqi restaurant I get complimentary soup and salads which it didnt happen today in Fnajeen.. the service was bad comparing with Samads in Al Muraqqabat and Jumeirah keeping in mind there were few customers i.e. the staff were not busy that much.. I asked two times for an additional piece of Iraqi bread because the Egyptian supervisor forgot to tell the waiters about that, he simply said I forgot.. the location is very nice.. the shisha and the shisha guy were good and the tea guy as well.. unfortunately I didnt see the Iraqi generosity I used to see in all Iraqi restaurants in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.. I was disappointed.. we were two persons and I was not satisfied with the service which I got against the AED 315 that I paid..

Authentic Iraqi experience, nice ambiance, spacious and adhere to new new covid-19 social distancing measures. the FOOD is so good, quinoa salad was amazing we also ordered eggplant salad and dolama and kebba everything was delicious!the shisha looks fancy, but it’s not that good!if you’re looking for good food and good music I defiantly recommend this place .. they have the MilanBand few days a week!

My first Iraqi meal experience. OMG...some of the best grills ever. The food was topped by exceptionally attentive service. I am very judicious with compliments so trust me when I say that YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE. Oh did I forget its picturesque water front location and ambiance.

Delisious food and great view

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is for their bread, their soup, and the view. The chair looks like it was made specifically to kill peoples backs. The soup and bread were great, not the best, but Id definitely pay to eat them again. Thats the arabic bread though, the iraqi bread felt too thick and too dry. It didnt have the right texture, feels like youre doing the cinnamon challenge. Now the kebab... The meat is [excuse my language] comparable to the bottom of my shoe. It tastes like youre eating oily fat and it melts in your mouth, and not in the good way. I just couldnt eat it. And when I ate the lamb shoulder it came in a plate with bread under the meat. I swear to god when I had my fill and reached the bottom part with bread stuck to it, I thought I was eating a cockroach. Its beyond deplorable. Just abysmal food. Its a shame they had good service because the food just kills the vibe. The best thing my table had to offer was wipes so I can clean my hands and go to the McDonalds by the corner.

If someone ask me about this restaurant ~I will say a big NO ⛔️🤯🤯🤯Why? First of all from the first impression ~as soon as when me and my friend seat down the waiter opened a big bottle of water and served without asking. For me I don’t drink when I eat~ I usually drink after finish eating and I drink something else. Of course they charged money for that even though we didn’t order.The food is ok ~During our eating one waiter asked several times if we want tea~ (he was walking around with a tray which he has already some glasses of tea on the tray) we also said we don’t want~ however another guy came and tried to put two glasses of tea on our table😑😑😑Even when we ordered our food the old guy who was talking out order keep pushing us to order more and more~ we already ordered 3dishes which is already more then enough for two people.I never experienced such a this kind of super weird service before in anywhere even in dubai. I feel like moroccan restaurant where I visited recently ~ that restaurant was so cheap but their service was much better than here. After we got a bill ~ the guy he charged more money which is 3aed more. I don’t mind to tip when I received nice service. So I corrected about it to the guy. And he blamed me saying I said wrong amount of money. Really???Just speechless about this restaurant...Only one guy was so kind I think he is new... maybe not. Anyway don’t recommend this restaurant at all!!!!!!!!!
