Very nice. The goat meat rice I bought there was so nice that I am sure I am definitely going to get more...bought other food but that is all I have tasted there but I am sure it is nice cos my fiance love the ones he has eaten so far too

If you miss the taste of home food - pepper, spice and more - African Home Restaurant is the place. Do note, however, that it’s not very easy getting a taxi from there (if you decide to eat in). I had to exchange numbers with the taxi that took me there and I called him when I was done. Alternatively, you can order and they’ll deliver to you.

Jolof rice, cows foot, chicken gizzards mmmmmmmmmm so thankful to my friend for treating me to some authentic Nigerian cuisine. Nothing is outrageously spicy, but be prepared for some kick (not much spicier than a Tabasco) however there are non spicy options as well. Seating downstairs and upstairs, well conditioned, friendly and lively staff.

Dine-in at Africana Home Restaurant is the best experience, you have a lot of varieties to choose from. Their staffs are really friendly and the taste of food is superb. Fried Turkey with Jollof rice, plantain and Moi Moi you will love it.

I just tried to order a meal from this restaurant via whatsapp. The person that spoke to me was extremely rude and gave me attitude. He give me the incorrect price about my meals I wanted to order and when I enquired about the price, my messages were just being ignored. I was really craving Nigerian food but after this horrible service I would not want to order from here. Now I have to find elsewhere as I am being ignored after asking about the price.23/01/21

Have been with Africana for the past three (3) years and 8 months now and they have an amazing managements. Chances for promotion is high and increase of salary when promoted. The leadership have proven to be strong, love and compassionate to their staffs in this period of global catastrophe. Love them for how they care about their employees .......

The staff is SO RUDE, they could care less about anyone’s needs; and that’s quite sad.They’re also unhygienic, their tables are oily and the place is tiny.I’m glad I wasn’t served and left cause to be honest what if I got food poisoning?

This is the worst restaurant ever in UAE, the ogbono and okra soup are very tasteless. Delivery service is the poorest ever . Infact I don’t recommend anyone ordering food from you people again. You will order food and 4 hours later that’s when the food will come very cold and the same excuse of traffic always as if we don’t stay in UAE . Your whole management is very poorrrrrrrrrrrrrr and I will never order from you people again.😡

My first time in Africana Home Restaurant and you have to go! They serve amazing irresistible african food. The Ogbono with poundo yam is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and I will definitely be back again. They made me feel welcomed and gave me an amazing experience. Thanks Africana.

This is the first time I am having Kenyan or Nigerian cuisine so I dont have a point of comparison. But the restaurant was packed with Business visitors from African nation - who seemed to be enjoying the food, Speaking for self, I did not take to the food immediately- I will have to check out some more places maybe go to some of these countries to learn to enjoy their food.

I do not understand why you place an order online or via telephone and your delivery is done almost 3 hours after. Then the food is as cold as a dogs nose. Affordable food, but if you do not like cold food, do not order from them.

Guys, the food is disgusting. I ordered jollof rice and chicken, I give one star because it’s affordable. BUT other than that, the rice smelled like it was cooked with old used oil and the chicken sauce tasted gross. Never again!

Had a bad experience - excessive delay in delivery. Got a call back from the restaurant apologizing and explaining the cause of the poor service. So I deleted my initial feedback and I am not giving 3star because it shows they care about their customers, and are serious about their business. Btw the food was good.

Unfortunate to give less stars .. Took more than 3 hours for food to be delivered and of course it was cold. Okro soup came differently from the goat meat(not quite) instead of it being one soup. Called to check up on the delivery but no one was picking up the fone. Driver had delivery address on the receipt but claimed he didnt have any info. Got charged 20 dirhams delivery fee.In general was my first time and unfortunately not a good experience . Sorry..

The first time i ordered my meal directly,it came exactly an hour later and the food was nice. The second time i ordered through zomato,the food was 2 hours late and a wrong bill about 20dirhams more. I was told the prices on zomato was wrong,i insisted i was only going to pay the original price and that was it..the food again was delicious. The third time was through zomato again and the food came on time this time and was delicious again. Overall good food experience but customer service hmnnn not so much.
