Great service and affordable

This was our home away from home meals restaurant for three days en route United States. Good menu list and freshly prepared meals. Staff also very warm and well behaved - no tip seeking or attitude. However on one of those days a guy came in to market an art work. Guess he pretended like a customer to start canvassing diners. Overall, good experience

Nice place for eating your meal

I was pleasantly surprised by the food, reasonable, tasty and affordable. I ordered from here after being disappointed by another African restaurant in Dubai. I was really craving Nigerian food. Thanks for coming to the rescue, the plantain was so fresh.

Food is great, you get the two different types of jollof, the Nigerian and the Ghana one. They are well organized. And there is food with mad Nigerian pepper and then normal food for us regular people that actually want to taste the food and not drown in water. Its cost friendly also and they have all their document and are the first true African restaurant in DXB. So go there enjoy, not too sure about eating in on site its a busy place but they have an upstairs , but we did take out

The food was like home. Had not eaten in days as I found it difficult to adjust to meals here but I wasnt disappointed the least bit. Taste awesome, fair price. Not a 5 star as I didnt think it was that the environ was neat. Although I noticed there was an upper room. Probably ground floor was for orders majorly but like I said earlier, I was mad hungry

Very good food. Ambience, not so much. Friendly staff and good service. If they want to renovate, they can start with changing the lighting, installing a sound system for soothing background music and putting up new upholstery.

Eight days into our holiday, the kids and I were craving Nigerian food. A quick search on Google brought us here. Food was very nice, setting is reminiscent of a typical Nigerian Buka (local restaurant), service was friendly and professional. We enjoyed our meal and ordered from them daily for the rest of our holiday.

I gave 1 star so I can express my hanger. So, I am here in Dubai from the Uk,someone said to me I can order good food here online. I ordered food since 2:32pm and I was assured 45min .l followed up after 1:30min with about 16 calls and till 5:28pm my order was messed up. I have not eaten since morning and you guys messed up my food lying to me it’s coming!!!. Why can’t African services be as effective as others? Full of lies and deceptive! ???I went back to Oreo biscuit and an energy drink.

Gross incompetence and negligence on their part.I ordered for rice and stew and fish. They delivered rice and fish with no stew. It took them over 2 hours to deliver the stew after making me used all of my airtime calling

Best affordable Nigerian food in Dubai!

I am more than delighted to write this, I had a little bit big order and complicated I must say but the manager Khalil helped me to sort what I wanted and my Order was supposed to be deliverd in an hour or so I had it in 30 minutes and he came to delivered it for me!!!😊 I am recommending everything from food to service and money value👍🏾 .. keep it up

Delivery takes forever, especially from the FGB Metro Station Branch. A lot of times, when the food is eventually delivered, it is the food ordered by someone else or something ordered is missing. When you call the phone number to order, the attendants that take the call are rude and have no understanding of phone etiquettes. How do you explain an attendant dropping calls on you when you picked up the phone to call to make a complaint or to ask why your food is taking 3 hours from when you ordered without it yet getting to you. The food eventually gets delivered 3 hours after ordering only to find out from the delivery driver that he only picked up the food 20mins before delivery, indicating the attendants had been lying about the food being with the delivery driver for the pst 2 hours+ since I had been calling to speak with them. Terrible customer service! This will be my last order after over the past 1year ordering from Africana Home Restaurant. I am fed up of this level of unprofessionalism!

We firstly read the negative reviews and based on those we went to another African eatery. Big mistake. Having decided to give this place a go due to how dissatisfied we were with the other, I wish wed come here first. The food was fantastic, we had poundo, one with ogbono, one with egusi and also fried rice. The service was great, Tunde was our waiter additionally he was very polite. We leave Dubai tomorrow, but will be back here the next time were in Dubai.

Good food very good food, though their jollof rice is so oily and the ofada sauce too. Kinda pricey too. But the taste is same as naija food. Service is a bit slow also. The toilettttt!!!! 🤢 that has to be worked on mehn. Can be a bit noisy with the Nigerian boys that work at the souk market when they come to eat they get really lousy. If you miss eating in a normal Lagos restaurant, this is the place for you.

This rating is for delivery. The worst ever. I called al barsha branch and for over 3 hours they have not delivered.they keep lying they are on their way. Very very horrible people.If you want to eat go by yourself to the deira shop and eat there. Never call them.

We placed an order at 8:15pm which was meant to take an hour! But an hour and thirty minutes later and the food hasnt arrived.The worse part is two of the girls are pregnant and starving and to think they charged 20 dirhams for delivery!.
