This restaurant was a huge surprise! I didn’t expect to find excellence in food and service! It’s a place for foodies!! The restaurant is Indian-Chinese fusion, and it has a large variety of food, starters, mains and desserts. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the king prawns, crunchy, fresh, and perfectly spiced. Fried rice with prawns, spring rolls, dumplings and beef stir fried were some of the dishes we tried. All of them were amazing! Ambience is cool, relaxed, ideal to spend with friends or family. Lovely live show, a lady with outstanding voice. We really enjoyed it! Special mention to our waitress Michelle, she was professional, smiling, lovely and well knowledge about all the dishes we asked her. She definitely made our night. Perfect combination between food quality, price and service. We can’t wait to come back and try other dishes! Thank you so much!

Ive been here three times.Their food is good but their drums of hell wasnt as hot as it is said to be.We did sign an agreement because it was supposed to be with ghost pepper and Jamaican chillis but it wasnt hot but more sour. It felt like they had added Tabasco sauce to it. It was close to Atomic flavour of wingstop wings but that packed more heat than these did.Over all I felt they were overrated.Their normal drums of heaven tasted waaay better than drums of hell.Maybe it was not just for us.

Grub Shack where the Foodies goThis place is a must visit restaurant for all foodies as the name says it all. A perfect place situated at Healthcare City Dubai. The interiors are all rustic with beautiful lightings all over. They also have a corner dedicated for Live Music to rock your weekends. They have really welcoming staff and kudos to Michelle for suggesting us amazing vegetarian options to choose from. They have quite many vegetarian options and we tried few of their best sellers. In starters we triedDahi ke ShokeyPeri Peri Paneer TikkaJalapeño cheese sticksIn Mains we hadDaal MakhniChana MasalaTandoori roti and garlic naan.In drinks we tried the green apple Margarita Mocktail and the beautifully presented Rangeela Cart which had all their best selling drinks as samples and Mango Montana Smoothie which was so good and sugar free which we opted for our kid. Then we had their amazing desserts and tried the oreo kulfi, Rasmalai with crackles and gulab jamun with ice cream.Everything was served with utmost love and with super fast customer service. Grubshack where the foodies go is a must visit place forsake yummy Bombay street style India Chinese food along with some delicious Goan delicacies in a lovely rustic ambiance. They have a nice live music space which comes to life during weekends. The bright lights, the hanging bicycle, the kulfilicious three wheeler, wooden flooring and varied artefacts adds up to the charm of the place. We started off with the jalapeño cheese burst, chilli potato paneer and Dahi ki sholay for starters. Each and every starter we tasted was good to taste but my personal favourite n my recommendation would be Goan style chilli potato paneer. It was spicy and had great flavours and we were hooked onto it till our last bite. Dahi me Sholay, was crisp exterior holding onto soft delicate hung curd and paired with green chutney alongside it was great grub. Jalapeño cheese burst presented on a three wheel cart was so cheesy good too.For the drinks we had mango n chilli mojito a must have for an unusual combo, so refreshing and oh so good too. We also had Rangeela cart which is the sampler shot of six of their amazing mocktail selection. A great way to taste all their refreshing mocktails. For mains we had burnt garlic rice along with veg manchurian. A very common combo but super delicious that it left us longing for. For desserts we had Gulab Jamun with ice cream... do I need to say anything about this divine combo, sheer indulgence and pure bliss in every bite.Staff is super friendly and provided great suggestions while choosing items on the menu. Overall, A perfect hangout spot with friends n family alike over some delicious grub and merry music and creating wonderful memories and totally recommends it to try some of their amazing selection of Goan delicacies or check out their Indo Chinese treats, I am sure you wont be disappointed a bit....

Had gone in there for an iftar and the spread was decent. The snacks were really good, this included some onion pakodas, crispy chicken, chiken tikka, batata wadas and mini potato chops. All the above were good. The potato chops was my favourite. The buffet was ok and I think that could do some improvement. Have some more of the Goan stuff in there. I understand they are trying to cater to the masses. The snacks and dinner was unlimited. One thing that I would recommend when having open buffets, please keep someone behind the same to serve customers given our current times where multiple people touching the same dishes is a problem.Overall, good food, nice ambience and clean.

Grubshack is known for it’s amazing go on an Indian specialities they also serve lovely Chinese food! Located in DHC this Indian hub is loved by all. When I was invited to try their food in this branch I was extremely excited because I love their food and have had it several times in the Sharjah branch. Their dynamite shrimps are the BOMB, but for a change I went with the fiery piri piri prawns. And OHMYGOD 🔥 its amazing. The sauce is super spicy and deeelicious. For appetizers i chose the jalapeño poppers & fiery tandoori chicken. I wanted to try the cheezy weezy wings, but unfortunately they were out of it.For mains, I opted for burnt garlic noodles (my dads FAVE), achari mutton and cheese naan. Loved the latter two items, but the achari mutton fell a bit flat. The mutton was COOKED to perfection but I would have loved more achari flavors. But the noodles and naan were GLORIOUS.Ended The meal with the most amazing and heavenly pieces of dessert called Ras malai. it was hands-down the best ras malai I have had everrr. Usually Indian restaurants serve sponge in the name of it, but this oh god, was PERFECT by all means.❤️🙏🏼

I decided to visit Grubshack because it was my wedding anniversary and wife wanted to go someplace special. Its probably the worst experience of my entire life! The place is a total amateur show. Gawking staff watching the trajectory of every morsel as it travels from the plate to your mouth gave us serious creeps. It somehow made me feel like I was the dish. The service somehow makes you feel guilty for eating there. Weird! The food was grubby, bland and flavorless in a way that I never thought was possible. How could you go wrong with a butter chicken! And mediocre food in good packaging would have made it at least visually appealing, but no, the takeaway was given in cheap plastic covers. The commitment this restaurant has for providing the worst possible customer service is admirable. And the cherry on the top was the price. A bottle of water costs more than it does in Las Vegas.I would like to sincerely thank you guys for ruining a special day for me and my wife. Way to go!

Grub shack, a familiar name in the Dubai restaurant industry for over 3 years serving cuisine from the coastal areas of India mainly Goa and Maharashtra. The ambience and interiors are quite pleasing and suits the theme. We started off with the signature drinks.Smoking masala infused tea a pretty good one with the presentation andJack Frost absolute favorite and it’s a drink which will take you to another level.Passion fruit explosion - My son’s favorite.Mango and Chilli- The flavor of Chilli was not overpowering.Gemma’s Chilli crab- A signature dish here and the crab was cooked to perfection.Gemma’s double dragon king prawns - I felt it was little expensive and wish they avoid shells before frying.Fiery wok calamari - The Masala and marination was delicious.Tawa tandoori half- The only dish we tried which was made of chicken . A perfect combination with roti.Oriental prawns fried rice - A highly recommended one.Gemmas mango fish curry- it was a great combination with white rice.Burnt garlic and Chilli noodles with chicken was another recommended main dish. From the desserts, we had Mango cheese cake and Molten lava cake . The molten lava cake was served with pan flavored ice cream which I didn’t like. I wish it was any other flavor.Verdict- Though the price is a bit on the higher side, they have kept the standards consistently.

I visited this restaurant on 22nd July 2021 last day of EID and I had very bad experience. The food was not that amazing and the quantity was very less and all dishes are very expensive. For 2 starters and 3 main course I got bill of DHS 431. After receiving the bill I informed the waiter I want to use my entertainer but they didnt accept it. Though the restaurant was empty they said on public holidays they dont accept entertainer. I was really upset with their attitude. Finally I paid the full though its not worth. We went to dine in at this very famous restaurant located in the Health care City, Dubai. ..... GRUB SHACK it says Where the foodies go.We had heard a lot about this place ... its food, Good portion, Nice Ambiance, Excellent Service ... & it’s all true .. the ambience of the place is done in a very rustic way .. with some windows panels .. a guitar on the wall ... the furniture .. & a live music station one corner. We were welcomed by the owner of the place .. a real gentleman, Mr. Lancy, he sat with us for some time & even share his stories of how the place came in existence ... it was really nice talking to him.Coming back to food .....we started with the very cute Rangeela Kart .... it’s a cute little Kart with 6 different flavors of drinks served beautifully in shot glasses ... it’s the best option if you want to taste variety of drinks. We also tried their Passion fruit drink which was really refreshing. From the starters, they started with- the Gastronomical experience of Gemma’s Double Dragon King Prawns .... very well done.... with grilled onions & capsicums ... served in a chefs special semi gravy.- Mamas Beef Pan Rolls ... a good option to start with ... a bit spicy but really delicious- Beef Chilly Fry .... a true Goan dish ..- Fairy Peri Peri Chicken.... a grilled boneless chicken ..In main courses we tried their famous Butter Chicken & Mutton Biryani.... as they both are voted as the Best Butter Chicken & Best Biryani in town... & seriously .. it’s so true ... both were just finger licking delicious. We also tried their Mutton Rogan Josh & Dal tadka ...totally amazing..We end this scrumptious feast with their Kulfi & ofcourse the Heavenly Masala Chai... a chai can’t be prettier than the one they serve at Grub Shack. ..& it was equally great in taste too.Michelle & Romareo were there to take care of us as a servers that day, both were really friendly ...not only these two but all the servers were very friendly & of pleasant nature.... serving with sweet smile & dressed up in Goan shirts. To sum it all, our experience was amazing .... a highly recommendable place .its reals a foodies place as it truest says ... . WHERE FOODIES GO. ..

Grubshack principle is simple, soulfood from Bombay to Goa, taking you on a culinary journey showcasing a wide array of dishes from these two destinations. The interiors, come close to bring out a setup of a shack that you would find in a seafront area. A place where you relax, spend your day, with some cool smoothing music with some mouthwatering dishes. This is exactly what the Grubshack is all about, exceptional quality food and affordable prices. The staff are well dressed with the floral tops, showcasing the tropical feel and they have a stage where the live band play some golden oldies and tunes that rock your senses. We were greeted by Michele, who look after us very well till the evening. She knew what she was selling as all her recommendation was on point. From the drinks, where she suggested the Jack frost and Kata Khat, both were nice on presentation and the drinks each having its own taste.

GRUB SHACK Where the foodies go, is aptly named by the owners. This is the fav place of all foodies who like the Best Quality food in town, Good portion served, Nice Ambiance, Excellent Service, Soothing Songs & Music, Superb presentation... the list of praises are endless. No wonder their rating in Zomato is always above 4.5.The Ambience with live music rocks as soon as you enter the place. The Live music played by a Male & Female Filipino singer is super duper. It sets the mood for a fun filled evening. The host Mr Lancy made sure he did table touch each and every table and spoke to the guests and made them comfortable. He also sang a melodious Happy Birthday song himself for a guest. It shows the Love, commitment and his passion and involvement in the restaurant. Never have we seen any host wishing their guests the way Mr Lancy did. He stole our hearts. The Gastronomical experience started from the Mocktails which floored us with their Mango & Chilly drink and Jack Frost (which was a twist to Pina Colada). The Munna Bhais Tawa Tandoori Chicken had a superb gravy & marination. This was very unique and home made style. The Half portion itself was huge and quite filling, do not miss this one. I can bet you can never get this anywhere in Dubai. The Stir fried Drums of Heaven was tasting heavenly. The gravy tossed on the Lolipop is one of their chefs special gravy. This is a must have for all tables. Burnt Garlic Fish was very soft and Succulent and we requested for slightly mild spicy and was made that way. The Geemas Chili crab had a monster crab very well done and very fleshy in a chefs special semi gravy. Served in great style fit for Royals. In main courses we tried their famous Butter Chicken and Mutton Biryani. No wonder why they earned this reputation of the Best Butter Chicken & Best Biryani in town. Both the dishes tasted heavenly, Biryani and Butter chicken will never be liked by us in other places in future. To end the scrumptious meal we had their Kulfi & Masala Chai which again was made with lot of love and passion.Service by Raehil a young server was excellent. He recommended and even described the dishes to us prior to ordering. Great job, keep it up Raehil. I found that all the servers looked very happy as they served all guests with sweet smile neatly dressed in Hawaiian shirts. Our overall experience was Simply superb and out of this world experience. Very highly recommended..you surely wont regret.

Grub Shack is going to be in my favourite list of restaurants in Dubai. I have been here almost three years back with my friends for a dinner and my recent visit to this place have made me realize they have not compromised on their standards. You will go through a flavourful journey from Bombay to Goa. I have met Mr. Lucy then and now, he still remains the same with a pleasing smile and suggested me to try few dishes which I would love. Their service was great and commendable, special thanks to Mr. Rahil. Their nights with the live music is one to not miss.Their drinks were attractive and refreshing at the same time. Hats off to the mixologist, he has got skills. Went on to try the Jack Frost, Passion Fruit Explosion and Mango & Chilli Nojito. I would definitely go back to have their Jack Frost, Presentation, Taste and refreshing – 100%.From the Starters Section, got their recommendation to have the Fiery Wok Calamari and yes it was my favourite. Calamari in sweet, spicy, garlic and mixed with butter, you will definitely be wanting more after each piece. From the Tandoor Section tried their Munna Bhai’s Tawa Tandoori – It was a home style preparation of Tandoori Chicken cooked on a Tawa. The flavours were awesome. You will love it.Surely leaving the place without trying their goan delicacies would be a miss, hence tried their Gemma’s Mango Fish Curry , I could definitely taste coconut, mango and their goan spices. It tasted like my moms curry in their version. My recommendation would be to have with white rice, oh delicious. If you are visiting Grab Shack, always check out their last page in the menu, you will find their Special Platters. I went on to try Gemmas Double Dragon King Prawns, the prawns were king size tossed in their special dragon sauce. Presentation comes in the form of smoke or rather straight from the dragons mouth. Next was the Gemmas Chilli Crab, it was served in the most attractive manner with smokes all around the dish. You open up seeing Rock crabs tossed around with green chillies, red birds eye chillies in sweet & spicy secret sauce. It was a dynamite.Next from the mains, we went on to try two dishes from the Menu, First one was the Burnt Garlic & Chilli Noodles (Chicken) Very simple but very effective in taste. Egg Noodles fried in wok with burnt garlic and green chillies. Don’t worry it was not that spicy.Second one was one of my favourite, Grub Shack Oriental Prawn Fried Rice , So this is a signature dish and it was amazing. For the desserts we had the in house Mango Blueberry cheese cake and Molten chocolate cake with Paan kulfi. I wanted to have the Molten chocolate cake again, wifey said a strict no.Also I had to end with their Smoking Masala Infused Chai, One of a kind. The experience was great, cant wait to go there soon.

Grub Shack has been able to provide good food, good service, and qulaity treatment to its customers. 😋🤗Their place is actually good. Well-maintained and good seating. I Also love their food. their appetizers were very special. Firecracker shrimps, chili crabs, and hakka noodles were my favorites. Their biryani and butter chicken were also winners!! Love this place 😍😘

Considering how many Indian restaurants are out there and how much they all taste the same, it takes excellence to serve food thats just the right flavour and mix to make it stand out.. Loved the food.. The relaxed ambience, polite staff and prompt service just made it all a worthwhile experience.

Heard a lot about this place and the reviews raised our expectations high. We were highly disappointed with the food. It was spicy beyond normality that too without any prior notice. The staff recommended us to try chicken cafreal being their specialty. It turned out to be a big NO NO for being too spicy and tasteless. The pricing was high for the kind of food being served. Overall not a pleasant experience.

I used to love this place but on my recent visit was quite dissapointed with the menu. A lot of it that I wanted to order was not available. Their staff were not aware of the menu and would come back telling us it wasnt available multiple times after I changed my pick. Quite dissapointing tbh. Other than that, food is great as usual.

The schezwan rice I had here smelled and tasted burnt... I shouldve tried my usual Tawa Tandoori Chicken Biriyani to compare both locations.

Grub ShackAnyone who knows about Goa knows how much its known for its seafood delicacies. I was invited to try the amazing seafood dishes at Grub Shack with my foodie friends. We started off with a musical evening by listening to the live singing and music.I then ordered my drink which was called JACK FROST which was basically their version of a pinacolada . It was served very dramatically with liquid nitrogen all around it. I really liked the balance of sweetness of the drink and it looked pretty.APPETIZERS1. Beef Croquettes - This was a cute little plate of beef stuffed , potato coated croquettes . I really liked the texture of the croquettes.2. Potato Chops - This was their version of shami kebab. I loved the softness of the potatoes and the seasoning of the stuffed beef.3. Gemma’s Double Dragon King Prawns - When I say drama in food, i mean it. These beautifully butterflied large prawns were served on a tray with the smokey presentation of liquid nitrogen. The prawns were marinated, coated and fried with some sautéed onions, garlic and chillies which is my favorite combination. This was my favorite dish from the evening.4. Tawa Tandoori Chicken - This was my second favorite dish of the evening. The delicious plate of chicken legs and pieces of the tikka and loads of onions with some masala on top. Frankly i enjoyed the onions more than the chicken which doesn’t mean the chicken wasn’t good, it was very good.5. Firecracker Prawns - This was their version of dynamite shrimps and i was expecting something extravegant. The flavour was good but wasnt to my taste.6. Chicken Lollipop - This was a classic indo chinese dish which i have grown up eating. The drumsticks were crispy from outside and soft from inside.7. Gemma’s Chilli Crab - This was the most anticipated dish because it was apparently their speciality. The crabs were served with their shell on and it got very messy but it was worth it.MAIN COURSE1. Chilli Chicken - This is another childhood favorite of mine. Its served with chicken sauteed with onions, garlic and capsicums .2. Chicken burnt garlic and chilli fried rice - I really liked this dish as it was a complete meal and had the right kind of spice.3. Munna Bhai’s Mutton Rogan Josh - This was my favorite dish in the mains. The curry was prepares perfectly and the spice level was good too. I wasn’t too happy with the cuts of the mutton but otherwise i really enjoyed.4. Butter Naan - There is no need for a description for this bt i will still say that i loved it.5. Gemma’s Mango Fish Curry - This was a special of the restaurant. I am not a big fab of fish curries so i really cannot say if i liked it or not.Royal Kulfi Falooda was the dessert which looked so pretty and delicious and the other foodies gave it a thumbs up.The service was at par with any other good restaurant and we had an amazing meal.Offers : 1+1 on food on EntertainerTaste : 4/5Ambience/Decor : 4/5Service : 4/5Value for Money : 4/5

Grub Shack is indeed like a shack, a modernized shack, with indoor and outdoor seating areas and live music. It’s a family-run restaurant that serves food found on the streets from Bombay to Goa. There is a vibrant feel to this place and the food most often makes a dramatic entrance.Grub Shack is known for their seafood . From all the dishes that I tried, the prawn and crab dishes were the best. The mango fish curry wasnt that great. They also have vegetarian dishes. The mocktails were amazing too. Their presentation of most dishes is Insta-worthy.Theres a Kulfilicious truck within this restaurant from where you can order kulfis.Read my detailed review on my blog or on Zomato.

The place is clean and tidy, creative decoration and good location! The food is good (the butter chicken, and the cheese naan perfectly made!) the only issue was the service! Need to improve in the details! We never had glasses for the water that we asked for...Still nice food for fair prices! Enjoy it!

Visited this Goan joint when one of my friends took me there for my birthday and had a wonderful experience!I loved the desi inspired ambience of the place. The servers were really nice and spend time to explain the menu to us.For starters, we ordered the firecracker prawns. For mains we had the Schezwan fish, Chili garlic fried rice and Beef vindaloo. All the food that we ordered tasted amazing. We washed them down with virgin pinacolada and green apple martini which were so refreshing!Although a little expensive for the quantity, I would definitely recommend this joint to others and visit there again.Happy eating!
