Great foods, friendly staff and nice environment right inside Dubai Mall.

One of a few restaurants in the dubai mall food court(the closest ones are mainly fast food chains). The food is delicious and it also looks great. There is a lot of variety and the prices are good. Staff is welcoming and friendly. You might also be lucky and have a great view of the indoor skiing track of the mall.

Great food, drinks and service. Must try the beef sizzler, its delicious! The chicken lollipop is also a must try and the sauce is very different and yum.

Once in a while we are dining in here. This wonderful restaurant has left the best impressions that made us comeback! Hospitable hosts, delicious Chinese cuisine, beautiful presentation, wide menu list and calm ambiance. It’s a little bit Pricy but worth it 😊 cheers to the Team!

Late Review (Batch 1): Went here second week of November 2020. My colleague liked the beef. Although for me its quite chewy- inside, with hard to swallow crusted - outside. The wanton taste was not up to whatI expected. All the rest were okay. Staff were attentive as well. The serving time was fast.

Can be hard to find a table here considering dubai malls quite crowded . Though the restaurant was full we got served fast . The food was nice not oily , the service was good our server Jonathan was attentive got us a nice crisps of prawn crackers . Would love to go back here again. Hopefully get a seat on the balcony .

Was craving a good duck and bumped in to this little gem tucked away in the food court. It has seating at the back of the restaurant overlooking the ice rink. I really enjoyed the food and will re-visit, 5* :-)

Walking thought the Dubai Mall decided to have lunch at Soy, there was having a buy one get one deal on only Main items.We didnt order from that menu and tried the Dimsum, a sushi platter and noodles.The sushi was nice and the noodles was ok. Over a nice meal but nothing out of the extraordinary.

Very very bad Service and manager disrespectful fighting with us because we had extra plastic from dieso and we bought a small soup because I can’t eat any oli or spicy food actually soy it’s more Indian food not Chinese The manager was rude and disrespectful very bad language never will go there agine and I suggest no one goes over there neverThat food is super oily and super spicy Quality is under zero The manager needs to change his attitude with people here is uae not his country

I would like you share my experience with all of you I visited a restaurant called SOY CHINESE IN DUBAI MALL was amazed with the experience and the service I came across 3 staff who were on their toes form the start attending and serving all the customers including my table the staff names are JEFF / JOHN / AMIT If you anytime visit this place do look out for them.Talking about the food is really delicious and tasty the food is up to the Mark and the best part of the food is that this restaurant does not use MSG at all in their food so it’s good for every one to come here and dine in. They have an offer right now for all you can eat and their menu is pretty good for aed 79 per person I hope they keep this offer going on.Last but not the least the ambience is pretty good as well with the red green and yello lamp on the ceiling makes a very calm and happy atmosphere to dine in with friends and family will definitely be back again soonCheers. 🙂

Nice tasty food but quite expensive. We ordered two dumplings and the main course, the quality was OK but the overall price is 100 AED per person that doesnt reflect the quality and service.

Within the Dubai Mall food court its a tasty, good service asian restaurant with good views over the ice rink.Usual high Dubai pricing of course, but the quality is good.

If youre overlooking an ice-rink (fully legit with a Zamboni and fake snowfall and everything), in the Middle East, on the third floor of one of the largest malls in the world and enjoying Chinese cuisine, youd be very confused, unless you were a Dubai resident. Then youd know you were in @thedubaimall sitting in @800soy and just taking in the wild and wonderful sights and sounds this city brings to you..I tried the Szechuan Prawns which were well cooked in a spicy gravy with Szechuan peppers and Crispy Lamb in Sweet Chilli Sauce which was really good. It had strips of crunchy lamb in a tangy and sweet dryish sauce. Both dishes went well with sticky rice and the complimentary fish crackers were fresh too..Quick service, reasonable pricing (Entertainer coupons accepted) and a great choice of Asian cuisine make this restaurant a welcome break between all your walking around the gigantic mall

Nice ambiance a bit pricy though

I had sushi and fried dumplings, it was really good. Sushi portion was huge, had to ask for dumplings for take away, since I was full with sushi.Rohit was very friendly and courteous, I really felt like fine dining place because of him. He is a star.

Delicious food. Good service. Good hygiene. Cant go wrong (unless youre visiting on a Friday evening).

Had the fried rice big bowl set and peking duck. The fried rice serving is generous, but the taste is mediocre. Using the entertainer coupon is worth it, otherwise don’t bother with paying aed70 for a bowl of fries rice.

Strongly disappointed. We saw 3 cockroaches on our sofa right after we finished our meal. The staff was not surprised at all. They just killed those cockroaches and said that everything is ok. If you do care about your health I would not recommend this place. This is definitely not what you expect from the restaurant in the center of Dubai.Btw: food - 4/10 and price is high.

Amazing food, good price.

This is very commercial oriental food. We tried vegetable spring rolls and Pekin duck. Spring rolls quiet regulars, a little cinnamon to the filling would make a difference. Pekin duck was tasty and crispy skin really nice. Creps could be a little better. Service was excellent but I still have to try noodles, wonton and other Chinese cuisine to decide if staying on 4 stars.

One of the worst customer service ever. We were 8 trying to enter on 2 tables. They didnt allow us 8 to enter just because someone bought food from another restaurant. Saying to Leave him behind. No we wont, thanks!

Taste of food was great but this hotpot shouldn’t be called as hotpot,after 5 mins. Serving it,it’s like a cold soup.

Great Asian Food, need to improve customer serviceSpoiled for choice at the Dubai mall with dozens and dozens of restaurants we stopped by twice, first time a waitress was pretty grumpy and we walked away but wanted to eat there as it looked pretty good. We did another tour but went back but luckily this time another waitress dealt with us and she was fab.We sat down and started looking at the menu, some great choices to choose from, pad Thai Tom yum, dimsum, fish and more.We selected a Tom yum, rice, crunchy fish in chilly sauce and some drinks. Food started coming before the drinks so we tucked into the Tom yum, mixed feelings as Tom yum us a specialised dish and I gave it a 4 out of 5 but my partner loved it so 5 out of 5. The crispy fish was delicious and very tasty with the rice. The drinks came, one strawberry and one watermelon, the watermelon was pretty good but the strawberry was pretty bad so we asked the friendly waitress to change it which she happily did, it came back this time tasting strewberrish. The dim sum was also pretty good so in general they get a 4 out of 5 for food and customer service.Customer service has mixed reviews same as ours first grumpy then after great however the girl that served us only has 2 days more before leaving so I guess more bad reviews are forthcoming on the customer service side.RecommendationGo and ignore any grumpiness report them to the manager instantly and enjoy some good Asian food.For the restaurant, take reviews seriously, if you dont then you will start losing customers. Customer service training is vital to any public relations positions I.e. Your waiting staff.

Decent and tasty Chinese food and dim sum. Portion was huge. Ordered duck with lemon and garlic herb and it was fantastic from a Chinese point of view. Pad Thai and fried noodles were good too. Siu Mai and Har Gao were good considering you can’t find them in Dubai.

Average at best. Dry duck is the fatal mistake

One of the worst asian food I’ve ever tasted in Dubai. I have been to many asian, Thai and Chinese restaurants before many time over the decade I’ve lived in Dubai. I know how should Chinese food taste like. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Had Peking Duck and triple szhewan. Awesome taste and food presentation. Sauces and spices were great. Duck was moist. Menu was accessible through QR code, innovative keeping social distancing rules in place.

This was such a good experience at Soy Chinese I had quite a few dish. I would recommend everyone to have chinese noodle with fish. The staff was exceptional.

The location is fantastic. A view of the three layers of Dubai Mall. Even the ice rink. The food is delicious and the waiters are real kind! I went with a 200 Dirham voucher and it was more than enough for two!

My on line experience with Soy is very poor. The order was supposed to be delivered after 30 min. and after more than 1 hour and 30 minutes it is still not delivered and no idea when it will be...and I live at 500m from the restaurant.

Delicious chinese cuisine

We were disappointed. We ordered sushi, hot sour soup, and chow mine with rice. Everything was absolutely tasteless. The server was nice but the food is horrible. Don’t try this place unless you have to.

Soy serves the yummiest Chinese ever. I dont know if its the most authentic but I dont care, its the tastiest and thats what matters for me I enjoyed my meal to the last bite. The black pepper beef was delicious and the Chilli garlic dimsum was drool worthy.Im definitely going to keep visiting it often. Ill also recommend them to my friends and family

Amazing, love the food always fulfills my palette. Great flavors of Chinese and fusion dishes and friendly staff. Small but has a very relaxing atmosphere with great views of the Dubai mall and over looking the ice rink. A must try.

The seesaw of customer service. First visit was horrible! Staff were incredibly unfriendly and the hostess was rude, didnt want to comeback, but then... Second visit was amazing! Its like they revised their core values and focused on their customers. Really nice experience. Third visit, my goodness, some of the staff felt like they didnt want to serve you at all. Food is not very good and price (increased) is just too expensive for what they offer. Not authentic Chinese food but something you would usually get from Indian-Chinese restaurant.

Had a great late dinner last Thursday June 7. Thanks to Joseph for assisting us in the food choices. Been here at Soy in Dubai Mall for several times and their service never fails to exceed our expectations. Good job team!

We ordered schechuan fried rice veg, sizzling chicken chilly, a dish with saucy prawns (cant remember the exact name) i will say semi gravy :).. Simply amazing. Quickly served. Overall good experience and nice ambience overlooking ice skating rink. Cant wait to try other dishes as well. :)

The food is strange cross between Indian Chinese and authentic Chinese, thus making it a rather confusing culinary experience. We ordered chicken chow mein, vegetable tofu sizzler plate and vegetable wantons in a spicy sauce. The sauce turned out sweet and wantons were poorly made. All dishes tasted quite average, however the service was good and attentive.

Been there twice, as a Chinese, the food quality is not bad. But the only thing is poor customer service. You can never find them. Staff is always busy everywhere and unattended. They gave us wrong food so we ended up finishing something else and they didn’t give any explanation why. If it’s not for Chinese food, I will never go.

All, if not most, dishes are highly overpriced. Mediocre food and so so service. A bowl of steamed rice at AED20 !!! That’s daylight robbery. Entertainer vouchers are limited to only a few dishes. Might as well don’t bother. I certainly will not be back to Soy. If you are looking for better Chinese food and reasonable price in Dubai Mall head over to New Shanghai (for comparison a bowl of steamed rice at AED9.00).

Very poor quality of food and service. Ordered Pad Thai that was nothing like the one on the menu picture. Was missing all the condiments that go with pad thai and the sauce looked and tasted like something from the can or bottle, so artificial and bad. At the table they had advertisements for the special offer that when I asked waiter about them he said that is not valid anymore. Overheard people sitting at the next table complaining about portion sizes and service. Overall bad experience and I don’t think I will go there again

Staff could answer my questions to the dishes and was friendly. Always present and the food was good and tasty. The portions are actually a bit too big....

Had lunch at SOY, They’re good at cooking Chinese food, they cooked so delicious, but their customer service is lit poor, they would get 5 out of 5 starts rating if they just improve the customer service. Rest is perfect!

Small portions, no given recommendations about menu, no Chinese or Japanese staff mostly Indian so I feel a pity for service provided.ex neither your prefer spicy or mid I non spicy food no one will ask you. And even compare Golden Gork I was always asked that question. But here no. And they much more expensive. You have to manage everything by yourself from A to Z. Today me and my friend went to have food in SOY. We are working in Dubai mall. We went to there in our Break time . But no any staff greet us and even manager don’t greet us . We sit there almost 10 minute but they don’t bring us menu . They see us but don’t bring menu to us . The staff see us but don’t come and ask to us order what we like to have . They treated us like more then dog . Me and my friend felt like like are we become invisible to them or what ??? We look them but no one coming and asking order . So without eating anything we left from SOY Dubai mall . We sit almost 10 minute there . When we left from there no one asking why we are leaving from there . So sad really disappointed customer service. We are not dog , we are human. Treat to every one same . You guys treating us bad because we don’t wear fancy outfits?? Because we wore uniform so you think that we don’t afford to buy there ?? Very terrible customer service staff , manager all . Poor performance
