4/521st June 2021We come here very often. The ambience here is really nice and the food is quite tasty as well. It’s one of the wallet friendly Thai restaurants in Dubai. They have a good variety of starters and drinks. The smoky chicken starter is a star here. We order it every time we come. The Thai green and red curry is a favorite as well.Definitely coming back again and again! The only thing I don’t like here are the plates, too noisy haha!

Very nice authentic food,.very less quantity food served but worth served. The Mango desert they served was awesome . Smoked chicken curry also was too nice. Very nice service. One suggestion is might have increased the quantity of food. Worth trying, located in the road side below Karama bridge. Nice authentic texture food served in a impressive way, less and worth making food served

Food is absolutely delicious at this place, highly recommend the hot and sour chicken soup + dumplings as your starter. The food quantity is quite generous so order one plate each of one dish of each if its to be shared between 5 peopleFor your drinks the frozen lychee mocktail is delicious, if you like a healthy option I recommend the fresh watermelon juice. It was quite refreshing.

Arrived at China Bistro (Al Karama branch) at 2 PM for a quick lunch with my family. We opted for the Table DHôte set menu experience and Id like to say WOW! Amazing value for money - 5 course menu from soup to dessert for AED41/- (approx. including VAT) for the non-vegetarian set which left each of us stuffed like turkeys at Thanksgiving. We also ordered mocktails to cool us off from the oppressive heat outside - Ill recommend the Lychee Lemongrass Iced Tea and the Watermelon Basil Punch, which you can pay for separately using Zomato Pro for 20% off your bill (set menu not covered by Zomato Pro). The set menu has diverse choices Pan Asian Indo-Chinese (Calcutta Chinese food) and its a great option for those who like to try different items without a huge cost.P.S.: Apologies for the terrible photos, we were too hungry!!!

Their food is tasty. I feel its difficult to get the right balance of Asian cuisine which they have got it really well (of course with some exceptions). The place is crowded usually and people que up to get a seat, which says that its famous and delicious. Its a great place to fulfill your Chinese cuisine cravings! The place is simply done and maintained, not really fancy but the food here is what you will go for again and again!

Have tried the mumbai china bistro numerous times and wanted to check out their outlet in karama. The place is themed nicely with ample of space. We tried their set menu lunch on a weekday which is AED 39/person. The taste was up to the mark of a Desi Chinese restaurant. It has 1 portion of soup, dumplings, mains, dessert. We tried manchow soup which reminded me of proper mumbai Chinese restaurant. Their Momos were fresh we tried their basil dumplings. Mains had burnt garlic chicken fried rice , egg noodles , fish with Chinese veggies , chicken red gravy.

Ive been to China Bistro twice so far on a friends recommendation. On both occasions the restaurant has left me extremely satisfied. The food is a fantastic Chinese fusion with unique tastes, high quality ingredients and melt in your mouth veg and non veg options. The desserts are truly unique ! Refer to the photos for a sample.Service was also unbelievably fast on my second visit given how busy the restaurant was !The location is great, right on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road. Outdoor seating would have been nice but its not practical given the location.Staff were very friendly, observant and courteous. They also recommended the best dishes which my family loved ! (Ask for Abhijit)Highly recommended and my current favourite Chinese restaurant in the area 😊

I had to order the drinks separately which was for AED 14.I ordered the lemon pepper soup, chicken sui mai, south asian chili chicken, Sichuan fried rice and coconut dumpling and fresh classic mojito. The soup was the highlight of the day. It was amazing. The perfect spice and sour level. The chicken sui mai was a mix a different flavours and was soft.South Asian Chili Chicken and Sichuan Fried Rice was the perfect level of spice. The coconut dumplings tasted like bounty honestly. The mojito was fresh and sweet. This was the 3rd time I went to China Bistro and i wasn’t disappointed at all. Located in the buzzing foodie district of Karama, China Bistro offers some amazing Asian flavours that surely woes the discerning Indian palate. The menu is vast with great options for vegetarians. For a delivery, we opted for couple of dishes. Delivery was made on time with sealed and secured packaging, packets of cutleries well in place.Starting off we had veg Sanchoy Bao. Baos was super soft with great filling of crunchy lettuce, shiitake mushrooms and assorted veggies. It was wonderfully tasty, and filling. We also had South Asian cottage cheese, Assorted vegetable in chilli basil sauce along with Sichuan vegetable rice And Wok tossed Hakka noodles. The portion size of each mains was huge and the taste delicious.South Asian cottage cheese has huge chunks of paneer coated beautifully with the sauce and assorted veggies. It had a perfect balance of sweet, sour with just an appropriate hint of spice. The other mains we devoured was assorted veggies in chilli basil sauce. Great flavours, nothing overwhelming but oh so yummy!!! Both the dishes went perfectly with Hakka noodles n Sichuan rice. Well done noodles with overload of colourful veggies, neither too spicy nor too tangy nor bland and had the right amount of spice mix to it. Sichuan rice was spicy and flavoursome. Loved it.Overall I was very happy with the quality and quantity of food. Everything has a bit of Indian touch to it yet there are distinct flavours. Loved almost everything we ordered and I am so looking forward to dine in soon and try more of their deliciously vast menu. Definitely Recommended!!!!

An year ago we visited and we all enjoyed the food, it was delicious...This time the food was good but the fire roasted chicken was not served hot (not even warm) no charcoal in the pot, seems the pot and grill was used for decorative purpose. It was highlighted to the staff. This time bit disappointed with the food quality..

Visited this place for the first time after being recommended by 2 people. Had an amazing experience from customer service to food everything was great. Was craving for the typical pan asian chinese flavour being spicy so my cravings got satisfied here. We ordered 2 soups, hot & sour & other was recommended by the waiter. Both were served really hot as the soups should be. In starter we ordered the famous fire mandarin chicken of china bistro, it was perfectly spicy, juicy & tender. For main course ordered Maos favourite chicken also recommended by the waiter with burnt garlic rice. The curry was delicious with flavours of oyster sauce in it. Overall it was a great experience though its far from our home about 45 mins drive but would love to visit again

If you are craving for Desi Chinese food with reasonable pricing, then China Bistro is apt. Everything that we tried from the Menu was devouring. Right from the mocktails to soups to the dessert. We were initially served with the traditional Kimchi salad and the picked cucumber and carrots, followed by two portions of non veg soup and one portion of Vegetarian Hot n sour soup. My friends binged on the starters and I had become a fan of their crispy fried corn. They also have some unique varieties of beverages. We were served with an exotic ice tea which was called Lychee lemon grass, Lychee frost and Sangria Basil. Each and every drink was refreshing. By the time the main course arrived we were almost stuffed since their portions are quiet large. However, my friends enjoyed their share of non vegetarian food and I relished each and every bite of Veg Schezwan noodles and Vegetable Croquets in Chilly Soya sauce. The taste was similar to Veg Manchurian but it definitely was the healthy version. The star of the day was the dessert called ;Buddhas fu. It means Buddhas blessings. It is a Mango pudding on which a caramel sauce is poured on via a huge Shelf and cocoa powder is sprinkled on the pudding by ringing the bell (since the powder is stuck on the bell). It means that Lord Buddha is blessing the dessert. I have never seen such a creative version of dessert and was highly impressed. Apart from the food, I give full marks to the ambiance, interiors and the service. I shall definitely visit them again !

China Bistro, a delightful dining experience. So I had an errand to run in Karama, and passed by this is on the main road so it’s hard to miss, it was a week night so parking wasn’t complicated either .We went inn, were presented with a interactive menu, impressive. Also what had me intrigued was the diversity, there’s ample vegetarian options & then there’s sushi & dumplings too. So I guess it’s rightfully said that there’s something for everyone here. Took the staff’s help to guide us what to try & also about spice levels etc. Here’s what we had :-Starters :-•Special Soup, this was pretty ok, I quickly forgot about it, once the rest of the food came out.•Chicken Wonton with pickled chili, these were wontons, topped with a lot of sauce, not very picturesque but good taste. Heavy on spice.•Chicken with thousand chillies, this was the Bomb! Something I would go back for, wok charred chicken. Delicious!•Three Lung Hargow, love that they do their own, dumplings, these were great & were placed on Thai red curry kinda sauce, great idea.Main Course:-•Spicy Prawn Hunan, this was a decent portion, not very heavy on spice. Safe dish to order when with kids & family.•Chilli basil fish, this is highly recommended, the sauce was unique in taste.•Mixed Meat Rice, this is one of their specials, it complimented the mains we had ordered.•Wok Tossed Greens with Chicken, again a very balanced, flavorful dish.Desserts:-•Hot chocolate rolls. Super cute, stuffed rolls.•Coconut stuffed dumplings, I would highly recommend ordering these, cause I don’t know any other restaurant that serves such a thing. Absolutely delicious! Now off course my verdict is clear from the review that I loved the place, for a new opening, it has a lot of potential they just need to stay consistent & keep serving good food, tempted to try the vegetarian stuff next time, oh & the sushi too.

After traveling for a month, I was deprived of good asian food. I tried the food at China Bistro, a popular food joint from India. They had dishes from quite a few asian cuisines like Chinese, Thai, Indonasian, Malaysian, Burmese etc. their drinks also had an interesting combination of ingredients and their presentation was on point. I tried the following dishes-1. Eight treasure soup - I like a good bowl of soup with chinese flavor because it has my kind of flavor, has a balance of ingredients & a big bowl can be a good meal alternative. This one was well seasoned and had a good cornflower balance.2. Caipiroska Zesty Orange - This was my mocktail which was served in a cute little well. The well is actually an interesting prop for my drink m served with some drama i.e. liquid nitrogen. The combination of Orange, Lime & Mojito made the flavour so refreshing and the sweetness made it perfect to sip after eating something spicy.3. Litchi Frost - This was a blended mocktail with lychee, coconut cream & ice cream. It tasted like a lychee flavoured pina colada .4. Crispy Thai Lotus Stem Singapore Style - I have recently started liking Lotus stem and Asian flavours are my favorite. This dish had perfectly crisp lotus stem with the thai style sauce which had the right kick to it. This was my favorite veg starter.5. Pan fried Chilli fish - This dish had batter pan fried fish with spicy sauce along with capsicums & onions. This was my favorite non veg starter.6. Chicken with thousand chiili and Sichuan pepper - This was their version of the popular chilli chicken. I liked the combination of the chilli & the pepper.7. Fire roasted mandarin chicken - This is their most popular dish and almost every guest orders this. I loved thw tanginess of the marinade/basting & the softness of the chicken.8. Prawns Con Poy Bao - Baos have recently become very popular in Dubai & I like the concept too. The Prawns were fried, with a spicy mayo drizzled on the top. They were well cooked but I just found the bao bread a little crumbly.9. Steamed Prawn har gao with thai sauce - This was the most pretty looking dish of the meal. I also liked the thai sauce combination with the dumplings.10. Khao Suey - This is a very popular Burmese dish and is so much fun to assemble because it is served woth all ingredients in separate bowls. The main base is noodles with chicken/beef,seafood or veggies in a coconut based sauce. Then there are so many accompaniments like fried onions, fried garlic, coriander, green chillies, lemon, peanuts & crispy noodles. All in all its a good hearty meal in a bowl.11. Veg hakka noodles - These are my childhood favorite and it can never go wrong.12. Pan fried chicken noodles - This bowl had some pan fries noodles on the base and chicken with a sauce on top.13. Buddhas Fu - This was a theatrical dessert with a buddha inspired assembly.14. Steamed Coconut Dumplings with honey butter sauce - This was one of the sweetest coconut based dessert i have tried which I didnt mind after the spiciness of the mains.15. Hot chocolate rolls with ice crem - This was a dessert lover’s surprise. It was like a chocolate filled spring rolls. The service was prompt and the servees were explaining each and every dish to us.Offers-1+1 on food on Zomato GoldTaste: 5/5Ambience/Decor : 4/5Service : 5/5Value for Money: 5/5

This was my favourite dish from our lunch and it was suggested by our server. Indeed a good suggestion.Next we tried the Spicy Soya Dumplings. Im usually not a big fan of dumplings but this was something that absolutely changed my mind. They were served steamy hot and we ordered it twice.Along with these, we tried Lychee lemongrass iced tea. It was something unusual but very tasty in every sense.Coming to my next favourite dish, Jackfruit Baos. This cute cosy diner specialises in cuisine from the far east, its vast menu is a mix of soup, salads, dimsums, appetizers, mains and desserts. We tried few of their signature dishes. To start with we ordered for Crispy Thai Lotus Stem Singapore Style, Fire Roasted Mandarin Chicken, Pomfret in Sauce Chilli Basil and pan Fried Chilli fish. We even tried the Ginger Chicken Jiaozi, this exceptional dimsums had a melt in your mouth texture and they came with a variety of dipsAll the appetizers were absolutely delicious, the fish was cured to perfection, it had a nice sweet and sour flavour. But the best for me was the Fire Roasted Mandarin chicken. It was just fantastic. For main we went for the Egg fried rice and the absolutely delicious Lobster in Seafood Coriander Sauce, the lobster were cooked to perfection, super soft and tender in its texture, a must try. Drinks we tried were Caipiroska Zesty Orange and Blue Hawaiian, beautifully presented and was very smooth and refreshing. Buddha fu was a surprise dessert to end the scrumptious meal. It was well presented and tasted brilliant. The Manager Bishan deserve a special mention, his mannerisms and knowledge about the food were praiseworthy.Overall, we had a great time. Each and every dish at China Bistro is phenomenal. High quality food, picturesque presentation, excellent service. Highly recommended.

Decent quantity, although the combo meal (the on in the centre) wasn’t impressive and the sweet (wafers) were damp.

We were invited for a Food Tasting Session by China Bistro and Socialism PR Agency. As the name of this restaurant indicates, it is a Chinese Asian cuisine, full of taste and affordable. We were asked to select our Mojito drinks and soup first, I chose Blue Hawaiian as my drink and hot n sour chicken soup.We were served with their best dishes, and there were 10-15 total dishes. From their appetizers to main dishes and desserts, all were full of flavor and I love each and every dish.First time I tried Fried Lotus Stem, and it was too delicious. And Ill visit them again to try this dish.Next we had Chicken Mandarin, assorted veggies, chicken in garlic sauce, Noodles, fried rice, fried prawn and fried fish, Khao suey, lemon coriander soup, eight wonders soup, dim sums, and so many more dishes that I cant remember the names of all.But all in all, let me tell you, this restaurant has good food. It is a mixture of Thai, Chinese, Korean and Asian cuisine and they actually serve you the feast.By now, what ever I have tasted in the food tasting session, I cant forget the flavors and I assure myself that I want to take my family there for a lunch/dinner.They are also doing Express Lunch promotions these days, which is for only AED 25 + VAT. Quite reasonable. You should reserve your table before going as its a crowded restaurant and always busy.Let me tell you about their desserts, they served us one of their signature dessert Buddhas Fu, its a Mango pudding with caramel and ice-cream. It has got a big sea shell from which you pour the caramel, what a mesmerizing presentation. WOWNext we had, ice-cream with honey dipped crackers. So there is a variety of dessert also. Those who are Vegetarian should not worry, they have a big menu for you guys also. They are covering non-vegetarian and vegetarian people. You will have so many choices to decide your food. The ambiance is also very nice and beautiful, its spacious and very well courteous staff. Its a busy restaurant, reason being, good food, good staff, good management and good ambiance.Do visit once to explore more of what I have written here.

Few weeks back we decided to unwind ourselves with some Asian food after work. We were super excited to try out the dishes since we had been hearing some good stuff from our friends which had hiked our expectations. Lets find out how that went, keep scrolling down fellas.A decent sized restaurant capable of holding large gatherings or few diners, they have got it covered. The restaurant was pretty busy for starting of the week on a Sunday, which is why we would advise table booking to make sure you have no hassles once you reach the venue. The place was adorned with dim lighting that had a casual and cozy vibe; perfect for catching up with friends and families along with some Asian goodness on the table. The decor was designed with white and green portraying simplicity and emphasizing on the food which is all that matters. It is a venture operated by Foodlink that has been running successfully in India and have now opened their doors to the people of Dubai.Bite BoardThe night began with some complimentary kimchi and pickled veggies. We had heard quite a lot about the Basil Forest & Lychee mocktail so we were enthusiastic about trying some new flavors and oh boy it was so damn good. This is something new which we haven’t come across anywhere else and will definitely return for it. It was a frozen drink or slush if you prefer to call it, made with basil and topped with a lychee so a sweet and sour drink that was a great palate cleanser as well.Chicken Barbecue Bao [AED 26]: Soft baos with generously filled shredded barbecue chicken, fried onions and garnished with their in-house sauce that keeps you wanting for more. Definitely recommended!Crispy Spicy Avocado Roll [AED 22]:A newly launched item and since we were in the mood for sushi, this dish got our craving sorted. They have a lot of vegetarian options as well making it easier for those who are health conscious or have certain dietary requirements, everything is taken into account.King Prawn Spicy Hunan Style [AED 55]: Juicy pieces of prawn with the right proportion of spicy and sweet flavors served with green bell peppers, cashews and red chillies.Chicken Wings in Hong Kong Sauce [AED 42]: A tempting option for all the chicken lovers. Succuclent pieces of chicken coated with hot sauce, and deep fried with cornstarch to give it a crisp texture.Prawn Fried Rice [AED 34]: Schezwan rice is one of our staple orders at any Chinese restaurant, and this one was bang on with its flavors and well cooked rice grains tossed with prawns.Fish Fillet in Chili Basil Sauce[AED 46]: Our partner enjoyed the fish, and went well with the fried rice.Since we don’t eat seafood, our servers were kind enough to get a chicken main for us that was delicious. Our form of comfort food fried rice and chicken cannot go wrong with it.Service:The staff was courteous and did a great job of hosting us. They handled the balance between looking after the customers and us pretty well so kudos to the team.Cash Outflow:The prices are quite reasonable and there is the incentive with Zomato Gold if not they have their lunch deal for AED 49 which is a killer one.Circling Back:Definitely coming back for the mocktail, the baos and to try more dishes next time.

Are you looking or just savouring Pan Asian specialities? This place is place is amazing from their interiors all the way from their foods. China Bistro takes on a culinary journey through the kitchen of East Asia. For the starters, I had Fire Roasted Mandarin Chicken ( I like the way it was served, its kinda spicy and appetizing. Chicken Barbeque Bao, delicious fluffy bao with sweet barbeque sauce. Dimsums (Shomai and Prawn Har Gao)For the mains, mostly delectable chicken dishes like Chicken Mee Goreng and Chicken Khao Suey but they have also Vegetables and Praws. For the desserts, they suggested the Buddha Fu. I love the presentation and how they served it. It comes with a shell with caramel sauce on it and a bell with cocoa powder. It really taste good.We also odered classic mocktails: Caipiroska ZestY Orange (combination or orange juice, mint leaves and lime juice), Watermelon Basil Punch (watermelon juice with muddled basil leaves).I had a great time.Good food.Great ambiance.Awesome customer service!Highly recommended 👍

Disappointed 😡with the timings on weekends, on the restaurant main door and Google it mentioned open till 2AM. But when we go there at 12.30 AM, they say its Closed. Request the management to follow the protocols according to what had mentioned in restaurant main door(attached the Photo for the management reference)and Google.

The sign outside the store PLUS their google page says open till 2 am but they decided now they wanna close early. So they locked the doors early and told me it was for “Covid reasons”, which is funny because I didn’t know Covid made people close their shops earlier especially when the restaurants next to you have no problem staying open even 24/7.

Staff were good and attentive. Food was good too however could have been better. The chicken red curry had poor chicken pieces. Im not a chef but it wasnt like the usual chicken pieces in the other Thai places(it was like chicken pieces in an Indian curry dish :D ).. The red curry was super hence if they change the chicken pieces in the red curry this would surely fetch you a five star :) Keep it up
