Ordered buns and a ube snack to go, gave my money and waited to get my change back, was told that I was being charged 50 fils VAT. Asked for tax invoice, as it is my right to recieve an invoice for any purchase, and the lady started shouting at me infront of people. I did not recieve my change. This happened earlier this year and havent gone back since. That being said, the pastries were dry and stale. Still remember this experience until this day. It was such an emotionally jarring experience for me that I stopped going to that metro station and take a longer route instead.
