One of the best in the car rental industry. I had a very good experience in terms of customer service - they are very approachable and helpful.I was offered an upgrade since theres a bit of delay for the car that I have requested.Brand new and clean cars. Overall experience- happy & satisfied =)

Not not not recommended at all. They don’t have the cars, the don’t have the people who can work with clients and communicate effectively.We spent more than an hour here, just because they see another pick up location for our reservation and they don’t have cars.They don’t upgrade the class of the car even if all the problems are on their side.It’s impossible to deal with this.They will make their problems and difficulties to be your problems.All the people who came to Avis office while we were here also had issues. No one left their office satisfied.The slogan “we try harder” is not true. They’re not even trying.

AVOID AT ALL COSTI have never experienced such a bad car renting experience. You will never get your deposit back. They say it takes 45 days to get it back. But you get 50% of it 60 days later and then they just dont respond to your emails. Must have written to them at least 10 times and even tough I returned my card in May I still dont have my money back. Shame on you

Worst experience ever. Office location had changed from what was shown on booking. (Fairmont Hotel office was closed a few months ago, but website still not updated). Once we made it to correct location, we were told our car wasnt available, we had specifically booked a 7 seater due to no of passengers.Then we were taken to another branch 30mins away, as they had correct vehicle. Once we had completed all paperwork, they took us to the garage only for us to find it was a standard 5 seater. They thought it was 7.Cancelled the whole booking, sadly along with our plans.No proper apology given, only excuses.Stay away.

Absolutly poor service.They sending confirmation for booking which wrong address where no one of AVIS is there.Confirmed time to get vehicle was at 12 but i got it at 15:00.Availability on phone is poor.So good luck for everyone, who will try to book a car from AVIS.

I rented a car for few days the car was in bad condition alot of scratches and bad smell I forced them to write all the damages in the report to avoid any issues, since 5 months I am trying to return my security deposit but nothing yet, they every time avoiding meeting me, I am struggling with this company, guys dont even think about this company 👎

An absolute shambles. One of the worst experiences i have ever had. They take bookings for cars they dont have. Wasted a day of my holiday at this cowboy outfit.If you are going on holiday do yourself a favour and book with another company who actually has the cars they advertise online.

Terrible service They dont want to rent cars. I order a Mazda car rental, signed a three year contract, and they said that they would buy the car because they didnt have it. I paid everything for the three years. As it was going to be new, they offered me to choose the color. They offered me five different colors, and, as I was asking for one particular color, they just answered there was no availability. Another color I asked for, (car was just sold). Again another color I asked for, that car was just sold. I even offered to pay for an upgrade car in order to get a nice color car. No way. Apparently they just had a blue light color Mazda, horrible, which I didnt want it for three years. Finally we broke the contract! Incredible. They just missed a three year contract, and Ive wasted a lot of time. Thanks AVIS, never again.

AVIS UAE, has me so frustrated. As an Avis Presidents club member I only use Avis everywhere I go for the past 7 years. Avis UAE has stolen money from my credit card in the form of charging my card for the same expenses more than once.Recently I have rented in Dubai with Avis. On arrival their systems were down and took about an hour 01AM in the morning to get the car.After return I noticed multiple charges for the SAME toll charges (SALIK).I have contact AVIS UAE and several emails and regardless of bank statements and proof, they stop responding and offer no resolution for stealing my money... As I write this.. the car was returned 6th March 2020.The part that disgust me even more is that these double charges came from 2 separate credit cards I have and I only gave AVIS UAE 1 cards details on this rental agreement.I have rented the previous year with AVIS UAE multiple times using my other card. So without my consent or legal authority, they have kept my card details on file, and processed transactions against my card that was not given or put on record for this rental agreement.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! one month and two weeks later, they still havent refunded my security deposit back. From the reviews this seems to be a recurring problem. I would have assumed that bearing a big name like avis means something but 300USD looks lost at this point.I have all the card transactions to prove it but will follow up with the authorities at this point.

The worst ever. Arrived Dubai airport 2 am with a pre paid booking for a car. They informed they don t have any car available and for me catch a taxi to my hotel that Avis will be responsible for the expenses. Next day I was back to take the car and they refused to refund the taxi money. Too bad to be true

0/10!!!! REF 3MRA000094thieves, I strongly advise you against them. I rented a car and was never reimbursed for my deposit. I received emails on:- 05/27 for the identification of my bank card- 02/06confirmation of their errors and the transfer- 26/11an email saying that my request is still pending-28/11carlease wrote to me on Instagram telling me that I would be reimbursed in two weekswe are december 17th and i still have nothing. I have been waiting for two years !! this situation affects my state of health, it is a company that plays with the health of its customers

Catastrophic experience in addition to being really scammed!I confirm all the opinions received by AVIS UAE. It is not for nothing that this society whose practices are shameful and dishonest accumulate 1 * and very bad opinions!AVIS UAE uses intimidation techniques, lies and plays on the misunderstanding and fatigue of travelers in order to sell you optional insurance unnecessary and overpriced.When I took a vehicle, the ticket salesman cheated me to force me to take optional insurance which she clearly told me was mandatory (CAN NOT get the car without). After several exchanges and many misunderstandings, she let me believe that it was in fact a deposit to be paid and that I was guaranteed that I would get my money back. I tell you that but we were 7 witnesses that day (and ALL confirm the same thing)After 1 hour at the counter (and before, 7h of plane) to recover a car already paid in advance on the website: we get the car. Do not expect an impeccable car: we had a very damaged car with the interior going into pieces!Back in France, I actually learn that they will not give me back my money and that in fact I signed for insurance that was optional. Clearly, I just have me and despite many reminders, AVIS UAE does not let anything and informs me that I will never see my money.Prefer a competitor like Hertz or Europcar with whom I have never had trouble rather than this shameful and thieving company. Another tip: never pay in advance and on the internet, in case of problems on site you can always go elsewhere!

Terrible service indeed.My car was out of order in Jebel Ali free zone and cannotmake ignition even though i jumped battery from other cars.Also, i had to wait more than two hours in parking lot untilthey brought new car.So, i lost my two meetings with buyer.Even though i strongly complained, their compensation is just salik charge which was AED 60 only.They spoiled my whole day on first date of business trip.I really dont want to give even one star to them.

Extremely bad experience. Hyundai accent car was returned with half Tank fuel. Charged AED 159.3 for half tank of petrol. When questioned was answered arrogantly. Overcharged for everything One of the worst Rent A car company in UAE. Do not opt it at all..

Your app books a car when you are looking at options and does not give a cancellation options! I am furious and want the booking cancelled; are you that desperate you trap people and do not have a cancellation option. I would not book with your company now even if you were the cheapest which you are not! And I think I will talk to Dubai consumer council.

I recently had a great experience with Avis, historical I’ve always assume Avis had higher rates for the same vehicle as cheaper alternatives, but I was completely wrong, I could not find the vehicle I was looking for, so tried Avis, I was lucky enough to be assisted Raji who was fantastic, Raji got me a great deal on the exact car I was looking for. Throughout the process she was efficient and showed exemplary customer service. Thanks to Raji - I am now an Avis customer for life!

The counter is open. They ask you for a comprehensive insurance of AED 75 per day. This is not written in the attachment of the net. And take a thousand dirhams insurance and return after two weeks on their words. Wait two weeks and return the latest statement. I am Talaat Al Hisba Corolla with Garmin GPS with comprehensive insurance because they fear me from Dubais strict traffic laws. A daily cost of 200 dirhams.Just a tip. Who wants to relax from head ache and attitudes and strict system passage .. Never rent. Let the taxi bless you and save and taxi like rice everywhere. Unless you know Dubai and its streets and Mashawerk many a day, this will make you.Update the amount reserved .. returned to the card account after 4 days.

WARNING - THIEF:Avis Dubai (DWC) is regularly trying to charge small amounts from my card despite they released deposit from it. The proceder happens every 5 days. Fortunately Ive blocked foreign transactions but one of tries has passed due to my temporary unlock of them while Ive been on trip to Czech. Complaint has been submitted to my bank and Avis.WARNING - THIEV:Avis Dubai (DWC) regularly tries to withdraw small amounts from the card even though they have released the deposit. Attempts are made regularly every 5 days. Fortunately, I had foreign transactions blocked, although one of such attempts was made during the temporary unblocking of them for the duration of the trip to the Czech Republic. The complaint was filed with the bank and with Avis.

DO NOT RENT WITH THEM! When leaving the car the truth that we had been satisfied since you always tend to distrust this type of companies, a few days later we got the final bill saying that everything was fine and correct, but after two months or so it appears in the accounts They took our money without notice. We contacted them and they alleged that we returned it with a touch without contributing any invoice or anything and after two months had passed.

Do not rent at home !! They are the biggest thieves I have ever seen in my life. Did not want to give me back my deposit, lie, take advantage of the tiredness of the customers and the language barrier to steal money by making you believe that you are obliged to take out additional compulsory insurance if you dont have no credit card. A shame I had to threaten them, harass them to get my refund after 3 months
