Iftar 2018, we went there for Iftar buffet, the place was fully booked and we were put on the waiting list till 2 hours before Iftar time.The restaurant was so crowded and so noisy, and we were unlucky and were seated adjacent to the food service bar.The staff was so friendly and helpful, big thanks to Mina.The food was fabulous with a lot of varieties.Recommend restaurant for Iftar.

I had Iftar there and I did not enjoy it one bit. The cuisine was Arabic but the taste had nothing to do with it. They managed to ruin most of the Arabic dishes and it was awful. I dont think I will be visiting them for Iftar again.

We went to channels last night for 2 of our staffs farewell dinner . We have been to channels many times in the last few years and always had excellent food and service .Unfortunately this time 8 out of 12 ladies are not well and are having diarrhea and stomach pain.I’ve called the restaurant and spoken to 3 people, I haven’t had any apology from the first 2 . they say it’s a bit difficult to track what it was, and some had alcohol and some didn’t ...and we all had different food. I’m very dissapointed with the customer service from the first 2 people who contacted me .Also they asked if we have Been to the doctor and if we have any medical certificates. The manager called me for investigation and wants to know what we all had the day before.Definitely not going back there again.

Absolutely high standards of service and impressive food variety for iftar buffet, even had sushi. Western options were delicious.

A buffet place, all you can eat and drink venue. If you enjoy that sort of night out then buy the Rotana Card and save some money.

Ive tried channels buffet a number of times, mainly on Eid days we go for breakfast just after eid prayer so it tends to be nice and quiet and the food is always fresh and hot. The food is usually quite good and Ive not had a single bad dish here, great breakfast buffet for the price. Nice selection and variety including fresh fruits and juices, cheeses and cold cuts, hot plates and even healthy options to satisfy everyone. Their cinnamon buns are a must to end the meal. The coffee is also included which is a plus.Had Ramadan Iftar here a couple of times as well. The salads are exquisite while the mains are just okay. Wouldve had another round of salads and just had the green curry for main if I had gone back. The main problem with Iftar is that it gets really crowded and considering the layout, the queues get really long with people and plates bumping into you especially if you are seated right next to the buffet. There were no issues with food not being refilled which is usually a problem in crowded buffets. Iftar buffets are always crowded though so Id imagine there would be no issues with the crowd during regular dinner buffets.

The chef is professional and prepares everything perfectly, salads are very tasty and desserts tooThe main dishes have excellent diversity and you cannot miss the enjoyable Ramadan experience for iftar as hot drinks are also served in the buffetThe chef is often around and trying to communicate with everyone and listen to them and makes us feel welcome always

Seriously a hotel beyond imagination and the place is very beautiful
