Food is good but attitude of people behind the counters is very laid back. With pretty much empty restaurant at 10.45 in the evening, it took 4 to 5 minutes to get the attention of someone to help me pick my sweets. Maybe the staff are tired, but then why keep the shop opened if you have staffing issues. And its not the first time that Ive had such a cold reaction from this restaurant team. They definitely need more motivation to be proactive...and to smile once in a while at least.
4 🌟 for Karama outlet.Nice decent environment with good taste of food and options.Arrangements and food preparation are good and clean. We found a big difference between this and other outlet specially sharjah outlet.Karama branch serves batter taste with good service although its self-service mostly but prepration time is way fast then others
Executive Meal Thali was nice. Tandoori Platter was not good. Masala Dosa was so soSelf Service system is irritating. I order 3 different things, 1 was delivered quickly and I went to collect on counter and then for other 2 dishes I was waiting for almost 10 minutes. Generally when we go out to restaurant with family, we prefer to spend time with them and food is served on table. Here I spent 10-15 minutes to only get the food on table.
Love their morning breakfast on weekends with a special rate. Cholle Bhature, paratha, puri sabji with lasso all are too good. Varieties of sweets specially matka kulfi, rasamalai are my favourite as a bong foodie.
Enjoyed eating special sweets during festival season. I liked there pinny only available at karama store. Other sweets like rasmalai, Ras gull, Jelebi, and many more. They do have special gift packages during festival. Freshly made sweets and snacks. Very good ambience. Friendly staff. Well maintained social distancing.
Authentic Indian Vegetarian Delicacies.Only restaurant in my knowledge that still operates on Self Service in Dubai and still a success. The only reason is the taste and quality. Indian sweet, especially Bengali Sweets are simply amazing.
Friday Brunch at Bikanervala downtown Karama.... the first branch which was opened in UAE 18 years back. The quality has remained consistent, as we have been visiting them as many years.A lazy morning...not in a mood to cook so we headed to Bikanervala. We ordered Channa Bhatura, Masala Dosa, Stuffed Paratha, Raj Kachori, Bombay club sandwich, Karak ginger tea😋All of them are equally good. The one which stands out from the all was Channa Bhatura👌 this has a typical flavour of Delhi. I remember I used to relish it in Delhi during my short stint in the city during my early part of my career. Also I would be doing injustice, if I dont mention Raj Kachori. I guess this place serves the best Raj Kachori in entire Dubai.Staffs were very helpful. Since it was a Friday morning not much crowded, they served it on our table.*Also to mention... on the offers which they have on Friday mornings, selected items are for for AED 12.Have attached a picture along with the photos for Friday menu.Whenever you crave for tangy, spicy chaats, delicious chole bhature, then this place becomes a must visit.Friday morning brunch at Bikanervala Karama is just awesome. They have a set menu for breakfast option which is priced at AED 12. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chole Bhature
It is very good Indian pure vegetarian restaurant but slightly expensive compared to others in Dubai.Excellent interior, delicious food, neat and clean display.Spacious and comfortable sitting except washroom not maintained at all,Im sure its not difficult for management to arrange one additional staff to keep washroom clean and keep maintained all the time just like other restaurants and shopping malls do in Dubai UAE.🙏 Just a suggestion.
Good food Good people for veggie and sweets lovers but with the experience will avoid this place during festive time since it is too crowded and in demand so the staff is not able to manage it properly. Quality goes down , quantity gets less, for take away rice becomes noodles and more important they do not have enough time to do proper packaging, spoiling the sweets.
One of the sought-after Sweet shop of Dubai. Good quality sweets and other food stuff.
Good vibes, nice food, perfect spot for a north indian breakfast if youre from a south indian household and done with dosa for life
The food was amazing. We had amritsari kulcha. They also have a lot of sweets and frozen stuff. Bikanervala is a must to if you are in karama.we also had a pav bhaji it was amazing. The presentation and taste everything was good. The paneer was amazing but the place is only veg so if you are looking for non veg then you can not go. I recommend going there. The slip system is also really goodPlease go there amazing restaurant
Oh Man.I cannot describe it since my mouth is full of delicious food.Kadi Chawal.Chole Kulche.Dahi Puri.Mithai.Chaat.Chole Bhature.❤❤❤This place has kidnapped my stomach in a jiffy.
Favourite dishes: Chhole Bature, Kulfi Falooda, Rasogolla, Gulab Jamuns.Clientele: Families and Friends.Prices: A little on the higher side. 20% reduction in prices would be VFM.Service: Self Service (with intermittent option to be served at your seat).Main attraction: Makes you feel like you are at home.
One of the best North Indian food Restaurant in Dubai. Good variety of tasty food but i suggest to order only north Indian food and sweets from their menu.
The food isn’t great really considering the fact that this is one of the most popular restaurants. As per the restaurant regulations of 2020, restaurants have to provide filtered tap water while this one doesn’t, seriously whose gonna spend 5 bucks on a bottle of water.
We visited bikanervala karama on 9th march thats holi..the most colourful festival of india and to match it with flavours of indian street food we chose this place. We ordered chole bhature, mattar kulcha, rajkachori and golgappe for mains!! HahaAlso tandoori platter was amazing..it included mushrooms, paneer, stuffed aloo and kebabs. For my little girl we ordered dosa her favourite and then for desserts it was kulfi..We were welcomed by komal with all smiles and greetings for holi and the service by ansari was on time..he was almost standing there whole time for us if we need anything and thats so humble of him.ALL the best to the team .will surely pass by soon for exploring more recipies.you guys made our holi truely special .
Bikanervala- Best place for Indian Vegetarian street food and sweets. They have good variety of sweets and snacks. I have a small complaint - kindly give the chutneys as per the order, last time i ordered 4 Kachoris you gave same quantity of chutneys, today order 6 kachori and samosa still same quantity of chutneys, not fair. Please fix the issue- complaining cause i love your imli chutney.
Never order a sizzler. They accept orders for sizzler in the cash counter but the kitchen refuses to serve it as sizzler. The Manager will not even apologise. In general, compared with other Bikanerwala restaurants in Dubai, this restaurant is less friendly.
Pav Bhaji, biryani not tasted better as expected
I bought kaju sweets for my wife to US from Dubai and this is what they gave (lower layer was full of visible dirt- they intentionally put smelly and dirty peaces in lower layer to hide and give authentic Indian feeling of fooling customers). If you care for your health -either avoid this Restuarant or be watchful on what you are being served.
Little spicy to my liking and earlier experience at the outlet..Other sweets... good quality
Awesome food, very delicious. Specially Rasgulla and Choley Bhatooray yum….;))
Minimum price for delivey is high, delivey of 30 dhs order, they will not do.There phone is busy most of the time they need to have two lines for delivey orders.
Love the sweets and food here is simply finger licking... quality is simply the best.... keep up the good work.. cheers to all team.
Love the place specially in dubai love India food awesome I love this rasmalai u guys also should try
Not at all worthwhile taste/value for money; primary usp is the goodwill of Bikaner name/fameThey sell thali for 27/31 Dhs in which vegetable/dal quantity is so less that you cant finish either roti/rice, eventually wasting both of those. There are much better tasting options available in the vicinity which are so much easier on the pocket.
We asked for less spicy but nothing was made as per our instructions. Kids didn’t eat.The parcel was damaged, looks the packets fell on the streets.
Visited this place on a cozy Saturday evening. It was quite crowded. Experience with food and staff was excellent.RestaurantAmbience - ExcellentLocation - ExcellentStaff - Courteous and Cordial (Though its a self serve restaurant)Cleanliness - ExcellentMenu - Wide rangeFoodTaste - ExcellentServing & garnishing - Very goodFood hygiene & Cleanliness - ExcellentPricing - ++ (Moderately expensive)Overall a great experience.Must try - Thali, Chole bhatura, Pani puri, Ras Malai and Kulfi Faluda
Always a pleasure when there is festival.or need to relive childhood food memories .
Only name is popular.....served fresh juice with full of sugar mixed!!
One of my fav spots in Karama when it comes to vegetarian food.Oooh my gosh- the sweets drool.Chats drool worthy again.Good quality food always.Never disappointed.Ample seating with nice interiors. They have frozen paranthas too. Healthy n nice in case of emergencies.
Chole bature yummy n delicious 😋
Food was literally swimming in oil. Quality was also poor. Kadhi pakora... the pakoras werent properly cooked from inside. Their start was amazing. But seems that after a joint is well established, its unimportant to maintain the quality!! You really need to switch back to your initial days when the food used to be finger licking delicious without using much oil.
Favourite veggie snack place with an ambience..quality is always maintained.karama branch has good crowd also
They never disappoint you. Standards are maintained well
Poor quality of snacks tasteless, by the Nepali staff not professional workers unhygienic table unattended house keeping workers
Very good place for food... I liked it
One waste restauranr serving rasgullas upon tasting it felt like chewing paper and the ras was like mostly water idk these people are raising their standards or degrading their name very poor restaurant please do some intiative idk what is so good in your restaurants you guys have seriously degraded your name
Best North Indian ( Delhi ) style food in Dubai , Try Chole Bature
You should try Raj kachori.. its is wonderful. Price are very reasonable.
Their Chola BHATURE is yummy
Neat and clean.. Although Chaat is more like Ice cream.. freezing .. but the signature dishes are a delight
I want to start off by saying that this review is not a comment on the food. Ive been visiting this restaurant for a number of years now and have always enjoyed it.However, last week when I went to dinner with a friend, and someone working there requested us to fill out a raffle prize ticket. We didnt think much about it. Anyway today someone calls me and says I have won a trip and then asked me and my husband to go to a hotel in Garhoud to claim this prize with our passport and/or national ID. Odd, right? This was straight up a scam and very sketchy. Im disappointed that Bikanervala did not look into the business as others may have fallen prey to it and given out their bank information or something like that.So horrible. Families come to eat here, they shouldnt have GeoNation as part of their business.
High quality Indian chats, snacks and deserts !!.Take out counter is bit slow . But the waiting time was worth
Horrible service. Horrible chaats. The whole system of ordering for take away is an absolute mess. Im really surprised this place has such high ratings.
This review is for Al Qusais branch. Unable to put a review in Al Qusais.I have been ordering from Al Qusais branch since years. I also order directly for delivery.Yesterday I ordered few items and first time I ordered vada pav. The vada outer coating was too thick and dry and the potato was paste. Totally dry just cannot eat it. They charged 8 DHS each vada pav. The cost of only vada is 3 DHS which means a single pav is 5 DHS.Also on each item we order for delivery they charge 1 DH extra per piece. So for eg we order 5 items and 2 pc each item so we pay 10 DHS extra @ 1 DH extra per piece. Plus delivery charges. When you write a good review they reply but when the review is average and they need to reply thats when they dont reply. Please stop charging extra plus delivery charges.
Totally Indian taste. This place deserve to visit every weekend. Little bit crowdie but worth to wait for your turn.
A treat alwaysExcellent foodDont miss back home food
Morning there is discount in price for breakfast. Taste is good. Ambience is good. They play songs of god which is very pleasant.
Same Trusted taste and reliable vegetarian food and sweets. Family friendly
Very tasty food. Good Service
Delicious Indian snacks and chaat food items. Freshly prepared.
Good place for the people who loves to eat vegitarian food. They have so many tyoes of veg. Food.
Excellent staff. Food could be better.
I was a little confused in my random visit to this place as I did not realise it was purely vegetarian. Despite that calamity (Yup where I come from we 3eat meat all day every day) I proceeded to order something which I cannot pronounce - recommended by the man behind the counter. It ws some sort of curry which for me means it has to have chicken, beef. lamb or seafood. This was only vegetables. Buy my goodness was it good - absolutely mouth-watering food and you can taste the quality of what goes in there. A very positive thumbs up from an ant-vegetarian - you have to try their food!
Food is good. The attitude of staff is pathetic.
Ok this timeUsually it taste good but quality going down little bit.
Good and clean.. taste of Delhi
Good one ....stylish Indian food .loving it
Authentic north indian taste
WORST FOOD ITEMS - NO ORIGINAL TASTEIts really disaster preparation, not at all like the real taste. No Chat taste, No sweets taste at all. ITS SUPER EXPENSIVE. CANT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
I have ordered several times and there sweets are fantastic so is paneer and snacks..however this week I bought several sweets including indrani cup Sandesh and rabdi rasgula ( on offer) and while the rest of the sweets are great as usual the rabdi rasgula was spoiled.Disappointed as they should sell spoiled items .
Always appreciate new additions to give us authentic north indian veg experience.I am a regular visitor and never disappointed
Very tasty 😋 I like sweets also
Love the bhel 👌Amazing place for having light snacks and dinner..the sweets are delicious... u can dine in as its spacious too...
They should and can manage the rush, after all we Emirates inhabitants always follow the protocols.
One of the best North Indian taste you will find in Dubai
The perfect stop for vegetarian food options. The food is delicious. The ambience and environment is perfect for a family dinner out. The pricing is also very budget friendly.Id personally recommend trying the Chole Bhature.
Very nice food. So many options to choose from..
