A huge themed buffet restaurant serving variety of good food with very good ambience. Overall the experience is good. The theme is like a wedding reception. Good variety is large. BBQ section is also good but unlike few other buffet restaurants this one does not have BBQ grill on your table. Chaat section is amazing specially the instant kulfi was no. 1. Weekend is not recommended as it is too crowded and you might not get to enjoy with such hush hush. Plenty of parking available. We even got 10% discount for using ADCB card for billing. Overall good experience except we felt the lighting is very low and the pricing can be more reasonable and competitive with other similar theme restaurants.
Amazing ambiance and food all in one place. The range of flavors will blow your mind (and stomach as well 🤣). The service is fast and focused. We booked buffet for 18 people and everything was arranged perfectly. They have Indian, pakistani, chinese and a bit of local flavors as well. Been visiting this place since the last 3 years and always enjoy it. Has free parking space nearby.
Experience was unique.****Staff were very friendly.*****Food was very light.*****Environmental was very peaceful.*****Strongly recommend 𝐋𝐀𝐋 𝐐𝐈𝐋𝐀 for family + business meeting.*****No disturbance.*****Everything was qualified.*****Some items like pasta(for European friends) chicken salad & less spicy items will increase the beauty of 𝐋𝐀𝐋 𝐐𝐈𝐋𝐀.Because i was with italian friend and they use to eat less spicy.all things were very suitable.
Excellent ambiance and one the best restaurant to enjoy buffet. Chat and salad counter is exclusive as well.Great food and selection. Grille items, Chinese selection and dessert were all delicious. Make sure to go hungry because there were so many options. Ill have to go again to eat what I couldnt last time .
I probably had more than 100 times buffet here and every single time it has been top - notch. They are the best Pakistani buffet in Dubai and they have so many varieties that its almost impossible to taste every single dishes. There is only one drawback: They seriously need to solve the AC issues! Its hot when the restaurant is jam- packed, making it almost unenjoyable.Otherwise I would have definitely given 5 stars. Its bit expensive but you wont be disappointed.
Best Pakistani buffet. Not economical price but variety of food is really good. From desi Sarsoun ka saag to daal , biryani..Yummy biryani ,pulao, karhaii..Haleem and karhai..Very delicious bbq...Best is fried prawn.Fresh nan and paratha..Kids corner has also many options.Sweet dish has more than 15 to 16 options. In short if you love 💘 to taste different foods must visit Lal qilla.
Authentic Indian and Pakistani delicious food with wide range of grilled food, starters and main course is offered at very reasonable price for buffet. Good ambience, friendly staff who make your dining more enjoyable. Variety of options in deserts with kulfi and Ice gola which is favourite among kids. Social distance is well maintained, wearing gloves/mask is mandatory when you are at buffet counter. Prior booking is required on weekend to avoid last minute disappointment. Ample space with free parking available back side of Restaurant. Enjoy the food.
Very nice ambience, ample of parking behind the restaurant. Good buffet. Food is tasty. Overall, very nice experience
Had a dinner with my friends.food is very delicious live cooking station.Staff will arrange for you what ever you want and serve you also on your tabel. Specially the staff is very friendly and looking after the customer .I dont remember the staff name who served us food but he was so professional and humble.Big thanks to himDefinitely recommend to all
A buffet dinner is really hard to review upon because there are so many aspects involved together , variety and quality of the food , ambiance , the overall energy and so on. Let me quote whats missing out here , 1st variety for vegetarians , 2 lack of in house beverages . If you want something to drink you have to pay for it . Now lets talks about what is good .. non vegetarians have lot of options . Let me come to the quality of food , its some what just okay , nothing mind boggling or worth recommendation frankly not bad also , so saying it simple food is above average . But yes ambiance is good , interiors suits to its name and legacy of the name . I feel staff can be more Curtis and over all flow of buffet is fine . For small gathering its a good place the location of the place is posh so it will make lot of sense for a small party or gathering . The variety of sweet dishes is a lot . Somehow I missed wow factor here so I am kind of conservative on rankings . In over all I would say dont trust my words have a experience then may be the review will make more sense .
Food quality was good..Parking is not a problem so its a blessing in that area..However there some dishes which were not upto the mark like gold gappay.. one of the chicken bbq was smelling as per 1 of my friend..Although it was a party invite for me so not sure about the charges..Shahi Handi was awesome...Mutton karhai was delicious..Kulfi was good..Naam types were also good..
Its one of the best Pakisthani/ Indian Buffet in Dubai. Personally I love all kebabs and grills.
This was a new experience in Dubai, after trying many Pakistani restaurants with varying quality and price and with the entire family having a favorite or two, we happened upon Lal Qila after a recommendation from an owner Uber driver as food is often the general conversation during the ride while looking for something new.Great full bodied flavored food, a good variety to choose from including the dessert table….. and from my experience of traveling extensively in Pakistan…… Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Multan, this was a breath of fresh air to once again eat Student Biriyani with a potato.Overall, great service which I value, very polite, precise instructions on how to use the buffet and at the right price for all of the flavors and experience. I would recommend Lal Qila for those who would like to experience a taste of Pakistan in Dubai.
Perfect placeRecommended for lunchLittle pricey for dinnerLunch meal is perfect 39Be very careful with your selection as there are many optionsBeef mutton chicken rice and brbqVery good staff they deserve 5 starFood 7/10 ( little bit mix of taste )Service 9/10 ( always available )Value for money 8/10 ( acceptable overall )Giving 3 star because of limited options in sweets and too much crowded even with booking
Food taste is awesome. Specially deserts are very good. Nice ambience. But hand wash shall be provided inside the restaurant. For handwash we need to use the public toilet for that commercial center.
Good Food, but could find bit oily..Beverages not included in Buffet..can rate 3.5
It’s just ok.Taste isn’t mind blowing but one can surely try it once.Didn’t find it value for money.Ambiance is good and have good space for sitting.Waiters looked less energetic and blank face
First time visiting this restaurant, the food is really good. I enjoy trying new things and I wasnt disappointed. Try it, youll like it, Coming from an American!!! Lol
What a great place food was on point and very tasty everything looked fresh. Beef Haleem is just like you get fro Karachi spice combination is just right. All breads freshly made all meats grilled to perfection. It will be hard to find this quality of food at a very reasonable price.Staff are amazing and very helpful full of smiles and ready to help. Decor is a bit old but I think it adds to the quila effect.A must go place and i will defo be back to try the main meal dishes soon. Well done guys.
Be careful if you are hosting an event here. For my friends party few days back, they deliberately were serving fresh juice to the guests when it is actually charged extra. And this was not informed to my friend in the beginning.Came as a surprise while making final payments.
Excellent food quality, with variety of dishes for everyone’s taste. Either you are a meat lover, vegetarian, or both, it’s a buffet not to be missed. Traditional Pakistani dishes, with a mix of some continental, worth every penny! The service is amazing, the staff very helpful and accommodating. Love the desert bar!!
Great South East asian food with a lots of verity and taste, their buffet is best
Went with family & had a horrible experience as the place became full as the time passed by, hotel management didnt follow any Covid precautions & the place was packed like chicken in cage. We had cut short our lunch as the place was getting suffocating and left in hurry when confronted the reception why they are not following the covid social distencing or the allowed capacity by Dubai Municipality / government, they were like its OK.Regarding food we were hardly able to enjoy it with the situation..
‘’Lal Qila’’ is located in Jumeirah 1 near 2nd December street, opposite UAE flag. This restaurant is famous for its vast variety of Pakistani and North Indian food. They have dressed all their staff in Mughlai costumes. There was no buffet set up in the restaurant for safety reasons when I visited But there was this ‘’all you can eat’’ deal in which food was served on the table. I found it more convenient to be served on the table then getting up n standing in queues to get the food as this restaurant gets very busy at times.Menu was a mix of veg and non veg food. Sarson ka saag topped with butter served with makai ki roti was delicious. BBq platter, chicken biryani, Shalimar chicken and other dishes were equally good. Sweet dish platter was consisted of gulab jamans, shahi tukray, kheer and chocolate cake. Of which gulab jamans were the best! This restaurant has this guy dressed in a kings costume who wanders from table to table and recites poetry to the diners. He was quite entertaining. Just remember that he keeps coming back to your table unless u tip him in cash.Average ambience but great food!Restaurant is offering several lunch and dinner deals, deals for 2 person and for 5-6 people and all you can eat deals. Please check their Facebook page for more information.
Staff was friendly. Food was fresh specially kabobs. Little pricey even for someone visiting from the states.
Food was very nice, Expecially for the Pakistani and Indian communities who like spice. Staff were friendly and a range of choice at this Buffet.
Nice Resturant for buffet.. ample of parking available the food is also very good.. Been there twice I personally love their prawns
This place is good for indian and Pakistani foodLive Barbecue, Live Barbecue, more then 15 dishesAll kind of sweet dishes, fruits ,ice cream and snacks also available. Friendly staffBut there is a problem the floors are dirty every time I visited same result last Thursday I visited I saw the same floor are to much dirty and not clean5 stars for food5 star for friendly staffZero star for cleanse
Will not recommend, Too high rates not enough items and cold food except tikkas... Too much crowded and no safety distance during pandemic. 100x better other places and cheap price with hot and fresh food.
The food is good, but the issue is with way they seat everyone. The place is almost all the time tightly packed. Its a buffet so you will have to wait for your turn in ques. It legit feels like you are standing in line all the time. This makes you not enjoy the food at all. And this one reason people hoard on the meals in their plates and end up wasting all the food. I have been here multiple times and I do not want to go there again. Not happy Not going again.
Food was very tasy and delicious all the dishes. Staff also niceI like also mentioned that over all good.
Out of all the Pakistani buffet restaurants, LalQila is the best. There is plenty of food option to cater for everyone. The quality and taste of food is quite good.
Good service , Good concept and good selection of Dishesh, but Food no taste... Dint enjoy even one dish... Disappointed
Food was okayesh. Full Marks for ambience. Food variety was good for buffet. Overall, Experience was not as per the expectation.!
Good food as usual. They do keep making small changes to the menu that ensures there is something new every time
Staffs too rude. Better not to visit this restaurant. After having buffet I have drank more than 1 full bottle of water. Dont recommend... Wish I could rate in negative. This would be our last visit here.
Excellent food. Good service. Wonderful ambiance
Great place. But the earlier variety of food was vast as compared to now. Chocolate fountain was missing and even the fancy dressed staff and props were missing
Food was good value for money. Gave feedback on some items so hoep for an even better experience next time
Good place for buffet dinner, varieties looks decent
Been in Dubai for about 5 years. The best Pakistani cuisine I have had so far. Amazing food and all fresh.
Well maintained social distance. Buffet at AED 39/- with 39 varieties during lunch time. Three Type of BBQ fish, chicken and beef. Salads, Veg and non-veg good, pani puri and desert. Food quality is good and tasty. It’s better to do reservations before reaching the restaurant. Very good ambience and friendly staff. They do have valley parking and free parking. Overall experience was good.
Buffet is delicious and worth.. My favourite Mutton Pulav , Shahi Kheer
Very nice themed restaurant.Staffs are very good.
Had an excellent time and Lal qilla. Independence day mubarak!
Noisy ambiance, dated furniture. Needs to improve on asthetics and layout. Food was standard nothing out of the ordinary. Kebabs counter needs to be managed properly. Lots of room for improvement.
Its is good place for buffet. They have a fair spread of starters & main course & sweet dishes. But the quality of food is thumbs up and surprisingly the food served in buffet was hot which we rarely find elsewhere. Overall a good experience and value for money buffet.
Good place and has a lot of quality in the food must to go once it’s only 39 on Sunday for lunch
Poor food not tast at all only milk is good but costly as its 5 aed...strickly not recommended for food
Lunch buffet is fine but not good range of dishes plus barbecue is a bit dry. Overall value for money. AC is not good and sitting is quite close.
Amazing dining experience with family or friends with the best Pakistani dishes and proper good taste.. You will get it here at Lal Qila
Taste was good, however standing in que for your turn to pick up your food stuff was little disappointing also no snacks were available for vegetarians.
Based on taste that worst food I have never tasted in my life in any restaurant. The services are great and hospitality of the staff perfect. Environment is not peaceful at all. Variety was fine not so great. But I like Batair, Kulfi, Gola Ganndda. If you want to eat gola ganndda for 89 Aed then its fine. Not recommended at all.
Excellent Pakistani buffet.Great food (best desi in Dubai).Huge variety.Very kind and caring staff.Strong discipline on social distancing and use of gloves for filling your plate from the buffet.Overall Excellent experience!
Tasty Pakistani food with nice variety in buffet. Nice ambience. Value for money
Wide range of lip smacking food
Always heard from friends its not goodExperienced it this Eid and found it really goodTawa fish, deghi chicken, sweet dishes were excellent
The food was great, they kept very good care keeping in mimd the covid crisis, the staff was friendly, will definitely visit the next time I come to dubai.
Very good buffet. Before going there i thought this would just be a typical desi buffet but it turned out to be full of variety. Very comprehensive. Beyond my expectations.
Good varieties of food. Enjoyed very much and friendly environment. Had a very good time.. Cheers.. Akram
A pakistani restaurant with good interiors and buffet. Food is like any other pakistani restaurant.
Its buffet dining ....so make sure to go ham on everything!!! Especially the dessert table...which is usually stocked with sessional fruit delicacies.... its mango season!!! Loved time spent with friendsLook out for the Maharaja and have him recite a poem about you to you ..funny stuff!
Pros:Buffet breakfast is there.Plenty of space.Separate seating arrangement for parties or private gatherings.Cons:NA
Good one. Over crowded but nothing like Karachi Lal Qila at all.
Excellent authentic Indian restaurant where you are welcomed by traditionally dressed actors, the buffet spread is lavish and diverse. Good taste, spacious sitting.
A must go place! Simply delicious menus. It gets really crowded & hard to get reservations on weekends.
There buffet is always perfect with variety of options. As usual you can listen to poetry while enjoying food.
Great Pakistani restaurant in the centre of dubai
Love indian pakistani crusine.. best pakistani taste prawns fish are delicious
Barbecue section is good. Overall food quality above average. Dessert section variety good but quality below average. Salad bar has plenty options. Good place to come with family.
Best services, very hygienic. Best dishes.
Good food and Ambiance...fine for a family outing..a bit of restrictions is there due to Covid-19... instead being a buffet system they wont allow you to touch anything but their staff would serve it for you..for me that was fine...as still you can enjoy the food and have a good time with family.
One of the best places to have authentic Pakistani food in Dubai and since it is a buffet restaurant, one can enjoy the taste of many dishes in one sitting.
We had lunch last week in lalqila it was fantastic experience of Pakistani food taste was like home alot of variety and many options they have staff also so friendly special thanks to executive chef zahid and thanx for good service
Worst place ever. The municipality should visit and close this place ASAP. No distancing at all. People were climbing over each other. And protocol is being served there. I will definitely report this place. I wish I could upload a picture or a video. But the site isnt allowing.
