Take the boat when going to the restaurant. Gives a romantic setting to start with. Food is good especially the starters!Some of the curries are pretty heavy, but bursting with flavors! The noodles with seafood, were good, though the seafood was a little over cooked and chewy.Very important to mention; take a strategical choice if you want to have space for dessert!!

Came here for our Anniversary we had a great time. BEAUTIFUL romantic ambiance, delicious food and relaxing Thai music. We took the boat to the restaurant. Joy served us a compliment cake for our anniversary she was very kind as well as our waiter sumam .

It’s my second time at Pai Thai. The first time was 6 years ago. This time Feb 2021, we went for Valentine’s Day. I wish we could have taken the boat, but the hotel staff wasn’t very helpful to find the small dock, so we walked to the restaurant. This of course, wasn’t the restaurant’s fault.We came in a bit late, but the front desk still kept the nicest table for us. I booked for Valentine’s Day and paid ahead as soon as the packages were available.The restaurant was dedicated nicely. It was an exploding of love and hearts. Everything red! My girlfriend really loved the place.The staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was incredibly nice and warm which was nice to experience, especially during Valentine’s Day.The food was as good as the first time I tried it 6 years ago. We had duck, beef, chicken, and seafood throughout the meal. All the dishes were delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the dessert. It was a light custard/flan which had a very unique taste.This is one of the best spots for Thai in Dubai.

Had a lovely evening here. It was beautiful. Began with a little boat ride that takes you from the hotel to the restaurant free of charge. The food came quick and the starters were amazing. The main course was good but got a little sickly because it had way too much peanut in it. But then the creme brûlée was amazing. Would definitely come back

This is our 5th visit to this Restaurant and everytime they exceeded our expectations. From the moment you enter you can smell the Authentic Thai Aroma all over the place, food is truly top in taste, quantity and presentation. Service is wonderful with very professional smiling & friendly staff. Price are higher than other Thai restaurants in town but is very justifiable and realy worth it.

Would have given this a 5 as the food was great as usual but service on this occasion was abysmal. The lady at front desk was incredibly unhelpful and rude. I understand you are busy and perhaps flustered but what is the point of making a reservation 2 days in advance if you are seating people based on first come first serve? When we eventually were seated, there were tables available so no idea what the cause of the delay was. A clear lack of management presence and it shows. Also the fries that came with the kids meal was a combination of thick and skinny fries, whos idea was that? Will not be returning for a while as there are other Thai restaurants with better service and equally delicious menus!

This is a beautiful restaurant located on the waters of the Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel in Madinat Jumeirah. The atmosphere is really lovely, great food and drinks and the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. There was a 2 hour limit on our table which felt a little tight but they seemed to be very busy. At times it felt that staff were hurrying us a little, which is not what you want when youre having dinner with friends. Also the pathway to the restaurant is very dark and probably needs better lighting. Overall a great experience, perhaps would be better with a bit more time...

What an amazing restaurant food was top class and staff were impeccable. Beautiful ambience and location, with a canal next to it and a boat to take you to the other end of the hotel. Delicious food and the staff was cordial. They got us a cake and some flowers too, complimentary. Innovative menu and presentation was amazing. Will visit again.

Situated in the Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel is this highly rated Thai restaurant. We ordered the five tastes of Thailand tasting menu which is available in a fully vegetarian option. 5 courses of delicious and delicate tasting dishes followed that were lip smacking. Ended with a nice palette of Thai desserts 👌🏼 try the tasting menu or order ala carte and you won’t go wrong here.

A wonderful evening spent at Pai Thai, via Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel.Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant is very popular.The driveway and hotel entrance has an abundence of Arabian horse statues, a sight to see.You can avail the valet parking service, then walk into the 3rd floor lobby, take the lift/stairs to the first floor.You can either walk to the restaurant through the hotel grounds, or, take a delightful abra ride.The restaurant has a warm ambience, pleasantly decorated, charming, ideal for a romantic meal, celebration, small groups of friends/family.We had the Songkran Festival three course sharing menu, celebrating a few things ourselves, but, also joining in with the Thai New Year & Dubai Food Festival.Between us, we dined upon a spiced seafood dish, chicken dim sum, crab cakes, king prawns, sea bass, wok vegetables, spicy chicken curry, rice, sticky mango rice pudding. We also had a little chocolate celebration cake presented to us, which was delicious, a nice touch.Everything was top notch, every member of staff was polite, courteous and welcoming, from the beginning at the valet parking, the helpful host guiding us in the right direction for the abra, the most charming abra driver, to our hosts/hostesses at Pai Thai.The evening temperature was perfect, we sat outside, dining next to the water. Excellent pre-fixe menu options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners. The venue is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great for a Friday lunch or dinner. The pre-fixe menu is a bit pricey, especially if you want alcoholic drinks... but the flavors are really fantastic and worth the price considering the location. There was plenty of time in between the courses for diners to digest their food and also spend time enjoying the music and the experience. I was especially pleased with the small plates and the soup. The mains could have had a bit more spice, but everything else was tremendous! Would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Dubai and looking for a high end, Thai food dining experience!

Very nice food, best chicken satay and water chestnut dessert. The green chicken carry was too chilli, I could not finish it. The mango sticky rice had mango replaced with jackfruit but was still very tasty. Also there were lots of flies outdoor. Service was very good. Good view of the canal.

Had brunch last Friday for my birthday. The abra ride was just brilliant, so serene. When we arrived the host invited me to bang the gong for good luck, and sprinkle water over the buddha. You forget that youre actually in Dubai, the restaurant is so authentic. The service and the food is amazing. The staff know their stuff. For brunch you are served a set menu which has a vast array of food, the only thing you need to choose is which soup you would prefer, chicken for me, seafood for hubby. The flavours are so varied, and cooked to perfection. You can choose to have alcohol or not, we chose alcohol. the cocktails are deadly but amazing. Hubby also had his favourite Chang beer. We ate most of the food over 4 hours, and there was nothing we didnt like. As it was my birthday they also presented me with a slice of cake, lovely. This is an amazing Thai restaurant, a must visit for everyone who loves Thai food.

This is the place to go, whether it’s a Celebration or a special occasion, this place has it all.- First of all, the service was exemplary. The staff made sure we are acquainted and comfortable. They were always around so no one had to wait for a waiter. Drinks were freshened up and tables are cleaned after every entrée. The staff also always made sure to pass by and ask us if we needed anything.- The food was really tasty and fulfilling. The portions were perfect, the drinks were fresh, clean plates, and the food did not take much to be served.- Lastly, the atmosphere. Subtle music, aesthetic lighting and decor, perfect view.It was quite the experience! I highly recommend this place as it is the place to go! Giving them 5 stars is clearly not enough to express how grateful I am. If you are looking for a place to enjoy good food and have a great time, take my word for it.

Beautifully charming place, nestled between lush greenery and waterways. The dishes transfer you back to Thailand, the atmosphere is very calm and romantic. The little lights at night give you the feeling of being in a middle of a fairytale, while Thai instruments quietly play in the background.You will find here an amazing papaya salad and Thai milk tea, apart of other delicacies. If you meet James, he will be there for you every step of the way, not making you feel, that there’s anyone disturbing your evening.

FANTASTIC!Took the boat to the restaurant which set the exotic tone for our lunch. Just magical arriving via boat with the grounds full of lush landscape. The interior is beautiful, dark/french and asian! Food choices are extensive and delicious. Everything we ordered was perfect! Will come again next time we are in Dubai

Pai Thai has to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Dubai and being in Jumeirah Al Qasr makes it even better as to head to the restaurant you can take a wonderful Abra ride on the water of the resort.This restaurant has been there for a while and has won multiple awards over the years, regardless of the day they are usually busy with tourists and locals.Their Friday Brunch is my favourite, they have some great dishes like Chicken in Pandan Leaf, Papaya Salad, and Chicken Satay. The options you get for the main course are quite a bit and of course, how can I forget about dessert. The Mango Sticky Rice is rich and heavenly and makes a perfect ending to your meal.Another interesting part about this restaurant is that they constantly keep changing their menu so their guests always have something new to try. Had experience visiting this place. Was very uncomfortable. All staff girls laughing like crazy. It makes me feel like they laughing at me, because i dont see anything funny around. And nobody laughing, especially that loud. only restaurant staff girls.My table was not far from barista. So i listened their unstoppable laugh all time since i started eating till finished. The Food is ok. The atmosphere - disgusting.

I visited here to celebrate my birthday and what a treat it was! Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the dish but we ordered a special they have which is a mirage of Thai dishes on a set menu. I’m quite a picky eater and tbh it was delicious! It’s a tucked away spot away from the hustle and bustle of most restaurants and areas in Dubai but a true gem of a find. Thank you for a pleasant evening. ☺️

We have visited this restaurant a number of times and it has always been exceptional. Amazing selection of Thai food all of which we have tried has been great. The decor and ambiance are really nice, very high quality and well maintained. The service is really nice, very attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant has both an indoor dining area and an adjoining reception lounge and an outdoor area for cooler evenings by the side of one of the Madinat waterways. Located on the Al Qasr side of Madinat, you can get to the restaurant from any of the hotels in this complex either by golf buggy or abra.

Great location where you can enjoy the view of the canal. Especially at this season of autumn and winter, there are no competing Thai restaurants which rival to this restaurant. It goes without saying that this Pai Thai serves one of the great Thai dishes in Dubai. Laab Gai was terrific!

What an Amazing a place, dropped of at the lobby of al qasr hotel, walked through a beautiful garden, hopped on a small boat and brought to the restaurant, the waiter picked us up and helped us get of the boat, beautiful table and place where we sat down. After ordering there signature cocktail we got an explanation of the menu. We order a mix plate starter so we could try all there starters, it was really nice. Main course the fish stew and the sea food mix. Really nice flavours, everything was perfect. Service, food, decoration, there was even a traditional Thai lady playing traditionalMusic. 12 hours agoNEWI came in with my family at 9:30pm and we had made a booking earlier the day before. Upon arrival they said to us that the had no seats inside and expected to sit out side in the 40 degrees where it was humid. Its was my mothers birthday and it was such a disappointment. They expected us to wait for 30-40mins for a table inside. The worst part was that the lady who was speaking tk us didnt seem like she cared at all. While we were there for a shot amount of time 3 other guests had the exact same issue. They has tried calling us about the table inside but not everyone calls back every anonymous number. The best solution was to leave a message in that situation but they said they didnt do this. This is the worst 5 star hotel restaurant I have ever been to

Its one of the best and a must try. Expensive, yet acceptable if you dont order much starters (like the jumbo shrimps). The setting and the surrounding area is nice. You feel like youre somewhere outside Dubai, and I believe that the only way to reach the restaurant is though the Abra (a boat that takes you through the water canal).Its a nice experience, dont miss it.

The food and the customer service was excellent

We were looking for a restaurant with Thai cuisine, and since I wanted to try a new place (although the last time I came to Dubai I had really good Thai food), we chose to go to Pai Thai for dinner. The location is romantic, as it is next to the water, and apparently you can get there by boat. We decided to walk instead; the winding path leading there is dimly lit and there are trees on either side. The service started out really well as a man showed us to our table, and explained that there was a special menu and a more lit ambiance due to the celebration of the Festival of Lights. We were handed our menus, and being a fan of organization (especially when the names of the dishes are in a foreign language), I opted to list the items we wanted to order on my phone. After the effort of writing down the names in Thai and trying to pronounce them to our waitress, she found it amusing and told us that she does not know them in Thai either. I would expect the waitress to know the menu by heart, including all the names of the dishes. Also, the attitude of a waitress affects the servicing, even if she is efficient in placing the dishes on our table (although a bit less efficient in removing them). Anyway, let’s get to the food. We ordered the (I will not bother to name them in Thai) Green Papaya Salad, the Crispy Marinated Chicken Wrapped in Pandan Leaf, and the Grilled Marinated Chicken Sate as appetizers. The Green Papaya Salad was flavorful and the Chicken Sate was tender and literally melted in your mouth, and I loved the peanut sauce. However, I disliked the Crispy Marinated Chicken in the Pandan Leaf; it was more soggy than crispy. For our main courses, we then had the Braised Massaman Beef Curry, a Pad Thai with Prawns, and a bowl of Thai Coconut Rice. The Beef Curry’s sauce was really tasty, but I did not like the beef’s texture within it. As for the Pad Thai, I have had much better elsewhere. We ended the meal with one of the desserts listed under the Traditional section, as opposed to the Modern one. We had the Sweet Sticky Rice with Ripe Mango; it was fine. In general, the food was average, and I was not blown away. Dining in an intimate setting with water surrounding you is basically what Pai Thai has going for it. Although, another Thai restaurant that comes to mind has that but with better food.

Very disappointed indeed! My husband and I had a booking for 7pm tonight and they have just called to say we can only have an outside table. To call less than 3 hours before our booking to say this, at this time of year, is extremely inconsiderate! To say we are incredibly disappointed is an understatement! Not a very good way to win customers or encourage people to return!

The place is amazing, the ambience and decorations. They also have dancers around to make the dining more Thai. However, food in general is okish. I love Thai food and I know how the taste is. We ordered the platter in the picture, only the spring rolls were tasty while the rest we just tried and left most of them. Other dishes like Tom yum soup was a bit too thick and creamy, and pad Thai with different noodle type which was not what we expected. But overall the experience was good and staff were super nice.

The worst thai food ever. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. Its a tourist trap, probably most suitable for hotel guests. Dont go here for foods sake !!! Yes, if u want to enjoy the boat ride, the ambience, etc etc then yes... but NOT for food.

This is our favourite Thai restaurant in the whole of Dubai!! The experience to start off with is so unique and calming. Just go through the alQasr hotel and get a lift on an Abra. Its a 5 minute gentle ride through the madinat. Its so chilled and sets a very luxurious vibe as you drift on to the best bit. When you dock onto Pai thai the staff are very welcoming and seat you very quickly. The setting is perfect for a date night as it is a private and in a quant corner of the madinat. The food is unbeatable. Get yourself the platter to share for starters and embrace the best dumplings you have ever tried. Well worth it!! The wine list is pricy but very generous with a great selection of fine wines from all over the globe. Time for mains, and this will not disappoint at all. I had the red prawn Thai curry with peanut sauce. I cant begin to tell you how much I will long for that taste again! The portions here are very generous so you may want to share a curry as it comes in a large pot. Same with the rice too! Me and my girlfriend have been here twice now and we will recommend it very highly to all those who seek a great dining experience in Dubai! yes it is very pricey, but so worth it! Already looking forward to our next visit!

The way to the restaurant via the Abra ships is always something special and the staff there is always very friendly and forthcoming. Highly recommended for a nice outing. Amazing experience getting to the restaurant via the boat service. Food tasted amazing and has a great selection of starters, mains and desert. I would highly recommend to go there in the afternoons where you can sit outdoors overlooking the canal

Everything was perfect until we ate our main dish. Unfortunately it was disappointing. I could have had much better food for much less.

I called to reserve for 14 people and they insisted on a non-refundable deposit of 1,500 AED on my card... to sit outside. Furthermore, it took them 4 hours to call me back regarding the reservation.Then, when I spoke to a manager regarding the fact that we were going to split the bill; and the inconvenience of asking every person on the table to pay me. The lady told me that they can “transfer the money to me”. I insisted to her that I’ve never once had a restaurant ask me to deposit any amount of money off my card; only to put a hold on my card in the case of cancellation, which would’ve been fine. When I told her the money isn’t an issue, she told me if it’s not the issue just charge the 1,500 AED to your card; which is extremely rude.

Excellent menu, efficient service, tasty food, and a beautiful, peaceful environment. Dinner for 2 was about 600AED, without alcohol. On the expensive side, but a perfect choice for date night or to celebrate a special occasion.

Great food, amazing ambiance. Maybe a bit of peanut overload in some dishes, but thats Thai cuisine. A good spot for special occasions.

Arguably, the best Thai food in town. Service was good as well. It is expensive though.Take the Abra from Jumeirah Al Qasr for a romantic ride.Four stars since i felt that the tables were too close to each other giving little to no privacy.

I go to Pai Thai each time I come visit Dubai. The food quality is high (as a french person) and the prices are justified by it, the place and the service. Tonight was my fifth time and, for the first time, the Wok has arrived cold and the chicken burnt. The staff was professional and cooked me a new one. Same case for my mother.And you dont leave the restaurant being hungry !There are no perfect restaurants so if you are unsatisfied of your course, let the staff know. This is how the UAE works.Also I was highly disappointed about by the wait time and not having a coffee or whatever given to excuse the delay. Because of this my mother and I started dining when the others finished. This justifies the star missing
