A very typical British Pub. Good selection of screens.

Friendly and helpful staff. Old English pub style with comfortable seating. 12-8pm is happy hour so its the best time for drinks. Nights get a good mix of people $$$

This is undoubtedly one of the coziest bars in Dubai Ive been. Relaxed atmosphere and courteous staff.The interiors of this British pub is beautifully curated. The big screen does not feel out of place. Tried just the fries and Nachos and it was just the best!

Good pub lunch. Food was ok, nice big portions. Its the kind of food you can expect from a pub. Decor is nice and they had TVs showing football... it wasnt busy but kinda cold inside without being able to reduce the AC

Fairly decent ambiance with excellent food. Thier starters were delicious. Pakoras, chips, meat balls, linguini. For the main course I had the Atlantic salmon which was decent with a combination of desserts. Good food. Can visit again.

Indoor sports bar... was able to see the game in a fan filled environment... also has a beautiful fire place, a pool table, high chairs seating... for both eat in and take away...

One of the original bars of the new Dubai that is still a very atmospheric, British pub style venue. Not cheap, but the friendly, professional bar staff look after you, not allowing the tide to go out in your glass before it is replenished. They dont offer free bar snacks, but the freshly made potatoe crisps are excellent. Good sports coverage as well. Go and enjoy...

Like OH MY GOD those two managers on duty .We were sitting on sofa and the manger said he didn’t like the way I sit , instead of telling me to put the foot down in nice way .He was arguing with me and my friend on the floor and creating more drama like really???? Don’t you think about the other customers inside ???Then another manger joined so 4 of us were arguing on the floor .He could have just sent someone and let them handleThe situation instead of creating noise .I am not sure how he does handle the other situation but one thing with my experience last night he is not capable of handling the situation at all .

Great sofas, nice place, food was good, the Shepherd pie was amazing, good ambient.Update: still a great place to hang with friends and have a good meal.Update: Shepherds pie still the best! Tried the pie of the day which was chicken and mashroom and it was tasty, creamy and delicious.

I like this pub a lot, i visit regularly , have a Rotana Exclusive Membership for last 12 years ( which is not the most important thing in the world, I agree), but it is completely unaccepted that staff and Restirant Manager included, are not able to operate audio and video system properly, or just finalised training before start of Euro 2020(2021) games?? And above all , not able to separate video channels on different screens, all of that in the 21th Century! So, I deserved to be interrupted in the final set of Rolan Garos semi-final tennis match, between Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal.....Thank You very much, Rotana Nelson Bar!!!!😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

They have nice service and good food. We went there for the Lazy Friday Brunch. For safety, they give set menu which is filling and unlimited house drinks. They give 15%discount to EK Platinum Card holders.

Air quality is terrible due to smokers and poor ventilation system. All bar chairs are terrible and need to be replaced due to poor and old cushion. Hard to get a table due to people reserving them for late arrival.

Great drinking experience which is complemented by a lively band and free for all happy hour. The acoustics of the place could use a revision as the loud music which isnt well channeled leaves you with a ringing sensation in your ears and not the nice kind. All in all, a fun night out in dubai.

Terrible customer service and staff very very slow need 10 minutes to take your order and 10 to receive the drink I went to the hotel front desk to ask for my bill and I pay my bill in front desk. Staff busy speaking together

The chef is very knowledgeable about allergies here which is great. Its the local pub / restaurant when were in Dubai and always have a great experience. The good is great quality, especially the curries and the steaks! If youre in the area, check it out!

Nice atmosphere

Its a good quality place but can get over crowded and rawdy, went for Christmas dinner which was reasonably priced and pleasant but unfortunately didnt give a full* traditional dinner meaning it was turkey or beef, with one you had Yorkshire pudding and the other stuffing basically, you got half a traditional Christmas dinner, but I guess thats Dubai style. Normal menu is very good.

A very good place for an evening out with friends. British food (not the bets choice for a german) but nothing to complain for me. The tables in the non smoking area are very high. Thats a quite confusing experience for a 1,86m guy. Overall definitely a recommend place!

Really good deal on Saturdays, three drinks and a main course meal for 155 AED, which basically means the food Is free. Look out for Vernadette, she is so cute and helpful.

A great traditional pub in the middle of Barsha Heights. Good selection of drinks, try to get there before 8 pm for happy hour prices. A wide selection of tastey food to suit everyone! The only downside is the very Smokey air that is everywhere inside.

Nelsons is a great pub located in the Rotana hotel in Al Barsha district of Dubai. It has a small unassuming entrance from the hotel but once inside it is very expansive with a large square bar area in the centre surrounded by seating, a pool table and dining area at the far end. Great menu to cater for finger food up to large appetites for those looking for a juicy steak. Every day has a special food theme and some include a alcoholic beverage. My favourite is curry night - very tasty and with a fresh nan to soak up all those flavours. Remember that in the Emirates smoking is still permitted in all bars so choose a nice location when eating away from the bar that is less smoky. Please be respectfully to others during Ramadan.

A chilled place for a quick drink or to catch up with friends. Not very crowded and the place is a bit warm
