Very disappointing and uncomfortable visit to Reform Social and Grill last Friday for their Family Brunch. Service was abysmal, food was average at best, we were packed in like animals, and the entertainment for kids was poor. We left ASAP after eating our main course.More detailed review:When we arrived we were half heartedly pointed to the brunch tent, and after being there for less than 1 minute we started questioning whether it was a good decision to go for brunch here. However, their pay upfront policy meant we were reluctant to give up so early and we decided to stick it out. This was advertised as a family brunch with kids activities. So we were surprised that after squeezing past several tables to reach ours there was nothing for our son to do on the table. E.g. colouring, mazes, word searches etc.Entertainment seemed to be focussed on one guy who was doing a few magic tricks, but it was an uncomfortable and unconvincing amateur performance. There was a band who were ok, but we were seated next to the speaker and it was extremely loud and intrusive. We couldn’t hear each other when shouting…Also, the place was tightly packed, COVID rules changed a few days before and Social distancing regulations were reduced to 1.5m. That being said, we were not able to socially distance from others, as once people were seated, it was impossible to be more than half a meter from anyone. I was also worried that in an emergency situation we would have struggled to evacuate the tent, as one of the two exits was blocked by other tables and diners.Mask wearing by the General Manager and Magician left a lot to be desired. But the rest of the staff were at least adhering to the rules.Food was delivered without cutlery, no mention of sauces, no napkins, no side plates… and when we requested this the waiter walked off before we had chance to go through what we needed. We ordered a ploughman’s sharing platter to start with, when it arrived it was very underwhelming and there was not enough to share between us. We sent it back and received a slightly improved platter, but still not what you would expect.Once our main courses had been delivered and quickly eaten, we left (the main course was just about average - so it was quite possibly the highlight of the brunch). On the way out we mentioned how disappointed we had been to the General Manager, who after initially being defensive, offered to call us later and put things right. The call has not been forthcoming though.I cannot recommend anyone visit the brunch at this place.

Tried this amazing place for breakfast which is located in Emirates hills and has beautiful surroundings by the lake and so many greens!!Tried their breakfast menu and they have quite good selected varieties of dishes for breakfast.I tired their Reform pancake, tasted great with all the mild sweet flavours not too sweet and not very bland as well. The pancakes were freshly made and soft and tender, it is served with some assorted berries and some cream and topped with syrup, healthy breakfast thou. Also ordered for full English breakfast which come with sausages, bacon hash browns, you know the usually full breakfast plate. Their tea was delicious and the almond milk cappuccino was smack on.Would love to try their dinners and drinks some other day.100% recommended.

Love this place. Anyone can find what he likes. Big outdoor playground for toddlers, two different areas outside, one on the grass (can be used for small games with teenagers) another area with floor covering (i mean shoes will not get dirty from sand or grass). Also they have terrace and indoor restaurant. They always are doing some entertainments. The food is also very delicious.

Open, welcoming, hospitable and dog friendly! But the value for money on food isn’t the best. I went for an event with my dog and enjoyed the venue and all it had to offer. I ordered a burger later in the day and didn’t exactly enjoy it, but ate it out of hunger. The chips were oily, and the patty was lacking seasoning (personal opinion) and the melted cheese offered no flavour at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place for food, but would for a day out with your pet.

In Dubai, where the party is for adults and children at the same time, both with a ball, I can hardly think of any place. Its such a huge childrens play area, with a bouncy castle and swings. With the children having a gala time, the parents will truly relax. Massive restaurant, beautiful outdoors, great menu, great service. Smiling servers, ready with every request you make, to please you. The sangria really reminded me of Spain, the tawook shish was delicious, the chicken tandoori even better.

Is this a bap? No, obviously not. Everyone knows thats a burger bun, yet when I asked why my bap was made using a burger bun I was met with confused answers. As usual though, this is a reflection of the poor level of service I have gotten used to when visiting on the weekend.Reform is:1. Under staffed. It takes so much time to get served, waiters ignore the people. If you need something you will have to call them and wait at least 10 minutes.2. Terrible reservations system. I dont know how a table could be reserved for hours up to the reservation. Fix this allow customers to sit there until the reservation and know when they would be expected to move. I was there for two and a half hours and saw four tables remain the entire time3. Condiments at the table. Every customer deserves the same condiments, standardise this so I dont feel like I have to beg for the basics.

So we went there for a nice late breakfast on the terrace. It has a great outside area, plenty of space for kids to play, ample seating space and the staff has been friendly and helpful. Now to the 2 star rating. You can see as the plate arrives that the chef has put absolutely no effort in these. If you consider the price tag which is very steep, you’d expect the quality to follow. When they say pancakes with banana, that is literally all you get. Overall, could be a great place, but for me the food is a no go, especially at these prices.

We’ve frequently visited reform in the past and never had a bad experience, however our breakfast today was that terrible that we couldn’t eat it and left. We sat outside in the new tent, the food looked and tasted horrendous, I ordered scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon and gluten free toast; the little cheese that their was, was off, scrambled eggs terrible and the GF toast was not toasted. My husbands meal looked like a dogs breakfast, poor presentation, little effort and overall everything was horrible. The prices are crazy as well: 26 AED for a “freshly squeezed” orange juice. Sad to say I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Very disappointed in Reform lately. When I went last month I was alone. During my lunch they brought over the wrong drink twice. Brought my fish n chips then another one 15 minutes later (which I didnt order) and forgot my bill. I had to ask 3, 4 times.I went again today with my family. We were told no tables inside were available. We were hungry and didnt want to go elsewhere so we stayed outside. In the shade but it was hot. We ate and left one and a half hours later. The entire time I could see inside: maximum 50% of the tables were taken! (This is after removing the non-covid approved tables. So all of them could have been occupied). I asked the hostess about this but all she said is they have reservations for later. If you have a booking 3pm and someone comes at 12 why not let them have a table inside and let them know they need to leave before 2.30? Im not taking about one or two tables but half of the restaurant was free! Ow, and again they brought me the wrong drink at first. Then when the kids received their meals they received a second round of different kids meals for some reason then they forgot an order of drinks and i had to ask for the bill 3 times.... Reform has changed, not for the better.

The food was quite nice but it’s the first time I’ve gone out and had steak and still been starving after eating. The menu says 250g tenderloin steak with grilled tomato and chips. It’s 190 dhs which isn’t cheap but I thought ah well I won’t need a starter with 250g. When it came it was tiny and very dry as there was no sauce. I’d say it was around 100-150g max! The chip basket was also only half full. It tasted quite good but just not value for money I’m afraid and it meant I had to order a starter after my meal because I was still starving (not big on desserts).

This is a really nice place. It is on the expensive side for sure. Very good food but AED 80-110 for a burger is steep no matter what currency you earn. We have been here in a few occasions during different times of the year and different times of the day. We enjoy each and every time. I must say though the best section of the grill is the orchard in the outside garden area, but they close it during the day and thats the best part. We were there today with a 5 and 7 month old and couldnt sit in the smoking area due to, well smoke but they didnt allow us to take them inside the restaurant in the min smoking section and let them lie on blankets. And would allow us to go use the garden area where they could lay on the grass either. So it took about 10 minutes of reasoning with 3 different people including the floor manager to allow us inside where there werent any smoke. If its a family friendly grill then they need to cater for more families. Also I heard at least 5 people ask about the outside orchard area in the time I was there. Its winter in Dubai, people want to sit outside, make adjustments and money will flow in. Weird reasoning. The staff are very friendly but the service is very bad, like really bad.

Yes they extend near the projector where the person sat kept banging his head with it . It was a slow service at the beginning, took them 20 mins before they serve our first drink. And we waited for a while to pay. The air conditioning was not working properly. Poor option of drink only 1 brand of beer with the package. No cider. Although, Food was delicious. It didn’t really help. We quickly finished our food, paid the bill and left. Such a shame as the garden is lovely and the food is nice, bonus to bring the dogs but I doubt we will be back. The worst place Ive ever visited in my life! Im new to Dubai, having moved here just a month ago. A friend suggested we visit this place (usually held in high-regard by those who frequent it) for Xmas lunch. We arrived as a group of six, having pre-paid 550AED (about GBP112) per person for a three hour beer and wine window (that also included a four-course meal). For GBP700, it was a tad pricey but we thought we would fork out and enjoy ourselves before heading off to our individual evening plans. However, it was absolute carnage when we arrived. Within the four hours we were seated, we only received our starters (the mains arrived at the final hour, and I had to scoff down my lukewarm Xmas lunch as I had plans after I had to rush off to). My friends stayed an additional hour or so more than me, and managed to get their deserts but no cheeseboard (the final course). Im not much of a drinker, so it cost me 550AED for x2 Diet Cokes, x2 beers and a salmon starter. Literally.Of the few wait staff that were there, they stayed huddled around the bar, chatting and joking around with each other, when they should have been serving drinks to the tables and ensuring everyone was okay. And on multiple occasions, I had to run up to the bar to serve our table/collect drinks, as the service was literally non-existent. None of the on-ground staff could offer us an explanation as to why it took so long to get our food and we were just left sitting around, waiting for our Christmas lunch. My friends finally got served but I had to dash off. Every other person in the restaurant was FUMING! Some people waited up to five hours to get their mains. And there was no sign of the manager. While I was walking out, I could see a huge queue of people who had booked and paid their money in advance but couldnt be seated and missed out on their Xmas dinner and plans (absolutely ruined!). Most people were angry, some upset. I spoke to one girl who convinced her family to come over from London to celebrate Christmas in Dubai, only to have it ruined by this restaurants greed and mismanagement. This is what happens when you have a Jack-The-Lad manager (common in Dubai), who was nowhere to be seen and left his mismanaged restaurant to be run on a very important and on one of their busiest days/events with inexperienced staff, who couldnt make decisions to save their lives. Its absolute greed on their part. My advice? Avoid at all costs.Update: The restaurant has offered to give us some of our money back. Appreciated from our side. Thank you and - hopefully - lesson learned. Ive changed this review to a three-star as they managed the backlash well.

The nightmare at Christmas!Awful experience for Christmas 2020, our first as a family of four with our 5 month old son. Some quick facts; Christmas Brunch 3-6pm, pre-booked, pre-paid AND pre-ordered!!! First drinks order took 30 mins and incorrect, finally got our 3 year olds pre-ordered kids meal after 45 mins following several follow ups.Our adult starters arrived after 90 mins!!! Again after several follow ups. So many other tables complaining/having issues. Advised the waiter and then manager we have to leave at 5:30pm (45 mins to go) for our pre-booked safedriver and we still had not had 4 of our 5 courses. 15 mins later (30 mins until we had to leave) told we could have a full refund. Ok sure, what about our Christmas Day!?!?I don’t really write reviews but honestly, an absolute shambles! Perhaps it’s has something to do with the 200+ extra covers (cha-ching!) crammed in the adjacent field and no where near enough staff!?!?!? Reform, I appreciate the promise of a refund but you have had and absolute shocker...on Christmas Day!!!! We will never be back.

He really couldnt miss me, I look like a walking pumpkin. We had to clear our own used plates, glasses etc from the table as we were being attacked by crows.Spent 30mins trying to pay the bill until my family eventually walked out and went to the car.
