I am writing one of the worst experience I got from Mashreq bank. I visited branch to update my phone number, KYC documents and activate my account. Customer service executive was not interested to greet or speak even after we greet or explain our issue. I had this experience more than twice. CS guy took my phone number update request and which took and day to be changed and I have to upload the KYC docs and again it took three days to update. Then I requested for debit card which again took three days to get it. I was able to see my account was active and I wanted to withdrawn money and came surprise that my account is not active.But in my netbanking its active and I called customer service and they told only they can see and it is inactive as I didnt access more than a year. When I visit branch couple of times the guy didnt tell me after I explained him earlier. Now I have to visit branch again and put a request to activate my account. Its is my account and in my net banking I will be able to see the real status.. which is crazy.... Now they have taken a request and told within 4 to 48 hours account will be active which is now more than that and still account is not activated. Its been a month now struggling with Mashreq bank and I am unable to take my salary which was credited in the account. I am not sure why would they accept a deposit when account is in active. But to activate after showing all original documents its been weeks and still not activated. Its really really painful and no one will come forward to help on this even if they see this review and as customer we have to suffer and only can write a review which will give us some satisfaction. Mashreq is least bothered about the customers.

My card got captured in one of their ATM at an-Ansari exchange Deira on Friday which i was in hurry to withdraw money for my sisters needs on health, in the process i interchanged my pin code, which made it stocked/captured, i went to their main office at muraqqabat today on my way to work and what they told me is i cant get my master card back because they destroys it because its not from their bank so i cant get it back, infact family am confused and dont know what to do at this moment. I have money on it and now i dont have any money on me too.very bad and unprofessional of which i dont think its fair.

The worst customer care and banking experience I’ve ever had. Absolute disaster. No place to sit and chaotic. There’s absolute disorder and I don’t think this bank cares, since there’s no real improvement after all the negative reviews.

Joke bank. Customer service is basically non-existent. I wanted to speak to a teller regarding their services, but the guard wont even give me a queue number. Will not even bother to look into my enquiry at all. Just bring your money somewhere else. They dont like customers it seems.
