I think I have encountered the worst customer care experience in my life over the past few weeks. Emirates NBD, bank whose services I have been using for 4 years, has exceeded all possible expectations on how horrible customer service can be. I have been trying to open new bank account for the past 3 weeks – first I submitted request online on their website and it said that bank representative will contact me. Nothing happened for few days, I tried to do it again, and again no one contacted me. I called their number and submitted request there and Eva said someone will contact me as well, more than a week passed, and no one contacted me still. I submitted another request online, but still silence. I called their number to follow up and Eva said to send an email, which will be answered within 2 business days. I did and of course no one has answered it. So, I called again and tried to speak to an agent, it took me 30 minutes and about 7 call attempts to get through to an agent. Frustrated, I explained the story and she said she doesn’t see any request on their system and since I am current client, I need to visit the branch. I asked why it is mentioned on the website that I can do it online and why after my numerous requests no one called me – answer was she doesn’t know and I have to visit branch if I want to open an account (by the way, I went to the branch before and was told that I need to come back from 10 am to 3 pm (during Ramadan) as agents who can open account are working these hours. So – you need to take time off work if you want to open an account) I was totally frustrated and said that I decided to end my relationship with them and will share my experience on social media. 10 minutes later same agent called me back and said she found my request and will send email to another team who will contact me and will try to help me to open account without me going to the branch….So, what do we have? Total ignorance of several requests submitted through multiple channels over 3 weeks, misleading information on the website, difficulty to get through to an agent over the call, incompetence of customer care and finally – desire to help customer only after review on social media is brought up… Really impressive Emirates NBD!

Very disappointed with the customer service. I am not able to get a proper response when I call the customer care number. You guys dont respond to the emails sent to customer care email id. I had opened a current account on June 14th and still it is not activated. Virtual assistant is of no use. To make it understand I spent so much time and still it didnt get my request.

Please activate Toll free, we have spend half of our lives spending in a tele queue and spent lots of money to just resolve the issue.If ENBD customer service management cares about their customers we need a number with 800 ... like other proper banks.I would have never requested for this toll free number if I didnt have tons of problems with your bank

It actually works rather well as a bank should.Suffering from runaway good moods? Theyll fix that! Each visit is guaranteed to put you back in touch with harsh reality.Suffering from a stolen credit card or fraudulant charges? Theyll help you gain perspective by charging you extra fees for card replacement, protect you from having to see the statements of said stolen card, and if you become too concerned, give you the number to chat with the therapy robot.Simply need to elevate your blood pressure and raise your own alertness? They can help! Large imposing building, spacious waiting area, and plenty of busy tellers. Unfortunately, parking can be an issue here, as there are several rather central government buildings around. Parking is generally more available across the street beside the Land Dept. Building, but... then its a 5 minute walk. This could dampen your whole experience.

Very bad experience.I used another bank to pay off my credit card. But ENBD wont accept my transfer. The most shocking thing is they didnt warn me. This resulted in me having to pay a fine of 700 dirhams. This is unacceptable, it is a system bug of ENBD, but we are personally responsible for it.This is very unreasonable and must be complained!

If I had the option of giving no stars, I would. Its been around a month and I still have not received my debit card. Their website claims that it takes 1-2 days to get it delivered. I am not sure what the delay is in arranging for a delivery in UAE unless they are using pigeons. Please fix your system and train your staff. The customer service does not know how to solve problems. They just know how to create a complaint and apologize which is the most useless thing you can do to someone who is facing issues. At this point, the humans working there are just as bad as their personal assistant EVA, because they are both useless in resolving problems. And despite having all these issues, I get calls on a weekly basis from their sales agents asking me to take their credit card. Seems like this is their only focus instead of solving actual issues. There is zero compassion and empathy for the customers. During a pandemic when everyone is trying to save money, I have been denied access to my salary for a whole month because of their incompetency. As a customer of 2 other banks in the UAE, I can say with 100% certainty that this is the worst banking experience anyone can experience.

I have been maintaining an account with this bank since 7 years.I have never made any compaint so far. .But today I have no choice but to write down this in sheer FRUSTRATION with them. In Aug 2020, I deposited several cheques in the Head Office(HO) ATM machines. All got returned to me due to insufficient funds except 3 of them. When I enquired with the bank about the 3 cheques, they told me they have lost them and after several follow ups they asked me to raise a complain on the phone. I did it and all they told me was Your complaint has been registered, here is the reference number: 149962186762 (Sep 8th 2020)I kept following with then at HO and the lady there always told No Update.told to follow up with customer service on phone,One fine day, I was told they found the cheques and to my shock, the cheque didnt even go for clearance and it GOT EXPIRED. WHO is to blame if the cheque is lost? The bank or me??I requested for a bank memo with cheque return memo with reason stating cheque bounce due to insufficient funds. This is so I could make a police complain on the cheque issuer.I got a call back from one gentleman who said they can give this memo as above and told me abruptly NO NEED TO FOLLOW UPTill date I have not got any update, neither is anyone calling me.. When I follow up they tell me it is with legal dept..?If you really care about your customers and want to treat them fairly, please take action.This case is pending since Aug 2020.

Never enter to this bank if you have any other option. They have hopeless staff and service. Unprofessional, rude attitude . I applied for a debit card three weeks through the emirates nbd app and they said they will courier the card within one to two days but still have not received after three weeks. They opened the account and my company transferred the salary to that account (infact I started this account as my company forced to .. company said they can transfer money only to this bank!!) Now my salary is stuck in the account and I am unable withdraw it as I did not get my debit card. So far I did not pay my monthly utility bills and rent r thanks to the emirates NBD. I raised two complaints and reached out to their call center and twitter support team and the keep telling me that it wil be resolved (they are hopless unprofessionals),stil they l did not give me a valid reason for the delay. They are telling me that it is sissued and just needs to be delivered now . Three weeks to send a card! what an excuse. They put me in a precarious stiuation during this pandemic time. This was a good bank in the past and now the staff are unprofessional and the service is very bad. I started this just because of one reason. My company insisted me to open the account here for salary transfer, thats why I was forced to open an account here. Instead of giving proper service, they still try to sell their credit cards to me!

Arguably the worst bank in the world who does not even know about banking at all. The people over the counter does not act as a human but keep asking you to make a complaint over the phone so they are useless. The worst banking experience I ever had. You can get three different answer from three different customer service representatives and all these three answers would be wrong. The people who issue the cards fill the form with random numbers. The customer then would have to suffer more than 7 days to activate the card and still would not be able to. And the AI (Eva) is a joke.

Worst bank in UAE.. Branches wont change the named cheque. If we dont have Account there and we got a NBD cheque from someone on our name we are done..We have to travel from branches to branches to get it cleared. No branch will do that for. Only 2-3 branches have the facility for that and that even wont work on Saturday.. Pathetic Service.........Wish to give 0 star..since its not possible giving 1

I have raised a complaint about a cheque which has gone missing from CDM should have been credited maximum by 25th April. I have raised multiple complaints called almost 15 times till date on daily basis. I see no progress. Is your back office really working? I need cheque back. Its not the same NBD we knew.

This is the head office of the Emirates NBD bank.Very good location because its opposite Dubai municipality main office and opposite etisalat Head quarters and opposite to Dubai Greek.Yes there are lots of parking availableYes taxi available tooYes there are lots of bus routes taking you to nearby this place.Staff are very professional, respectful and hard-working. All what you want and need they will be able to assist with and guide you.This bank has been here for a long time and its one of the best banks in the country.I hope you all have a great time and stay in good health and happy

Ridiculously unprofessional service. Words cant even describe how unorganized, unsynchronized, and how full of technical errors (errors in phone assistant, error with delivery machines, errors in app, errors in website...) they are. Dear Emirates NBD,I am writing to inform you about the following incident where I unfortunately had my credit card stolen in South Africa. I now am left with a 28 thousand AED debt which I am liable for. I feel unsupported by Emirates NBD and Central Bank. I want to raise awareness for other customers so they don’t end up in the same position as me.After a year fraud dispute with Emirates NBD they have decided investigation is closed and their final decision stands. Communication has been terrible throughout, below is the supporting facts related to the incident:- Credit card stolen ‪20/01/2019‬- Up to 28k spent at various retail stores across South Africa including cash withdrawals- I blocked the card via online banking as soon as I noticed the missing card and fraudulent transactions- I opened up a local police case against the incident- I opened an Emirates NBD dispute- My neighbours provided me with a reference letter stating where I was located during the incidentFurthermore, throughout my daily dispute communication with the bank they had advised a charge back has been initiated which I have recorded evidence of but never received. Obviously I am extremely unsatisfied with this outcome and want the case re opened and further investigated. Unfortunately this is a huge set back and a life changing experience.

It is a shame the in the year 2020 your bank policy states that I need to go to the branch to collect a simple letter, while the other banks have delivered that to me on my email. Even you cannot deliver on my registered address.All the banks are closing their branches and introducing tele-banking and you are asking customers to visit the branches for small issues.No doubt such banks cannot exist in future and people should not be fooled.If my issue is not resolved in a week I will close my account.

Very poor service 😢😢 couldn’t get proper answer from customer service and branch I made cash deposit through ATM and transaction was not completed due to some technical issue and called call center she said money will go within 24 hour but it was not happen, raise a complaint and they said it will take maximum 15days to short it out.. it was happened 12 oct and I am still waiting for transaction to be complete ... is this fair to hold my money by Bank 15days without valid reasons ? We went twice to two different branches to ACTIVATE the account and have the salary transferred to your bank but every time we go they have an excuse to sayThe last time in Deira City Centre branch they said we have to be before 2 pmToday we went to Danata branch and they said the officer who will approve the activation is out for a meetingWhat kind of branch is that? Please dont take credit card from this bank. They are tied up with a good for nothing ADNIC for credit shield insurance. ADNIC is good for nothing company and dont know why Emirates NBD is tied up with them.I lost my job and as per credit shield policy I was supposed to get the credit card insurance claim. However this unorganized unethical people of ADNIC disapprove it saying I need to be on same Employer visa even after Termination. Stupid people working with stupid rules at ADNIC.Public are cautioned not to take credit card from Emirates NBD.

My Father Abdul Qayyum Abdul Haq Saving Account Holder In ENBD since 12th April 1994, had his 127,500 dirhams got transferred online to unknown Accounts without any acknowledgement or any confirmation by him on 30th April 2019 at 3pm within 3mins!!! And bank has no idea about this fraudulent online transfer? Although he has never used online banking in his entire life. We are completely shocked, amazed and disappointed by the low level of security ENBD, how can such a prestigious bank could be so unsecured. I demand that this looting issue should be resolved ASAP, and my father should get his life earning back. We have already reported the matter to Dubai police Cyber crime branch and they have assured us of there prompt assistance and also raised a complain in Enbd jabel ali fze branch near gate no:3 and the bank had informed that they started the interrogation.

Vey bad bank and unsecure my credit card was hacked by 21000 dhs in 5 minutes and they dont even anwer a very simple question as I asked to know whether they got my dispute form or not

EmiratesNBD bank head office building located near to Sheraton hotel and Dubai Chamber of commerce Customer service is ok, most of the time there will be rush and you need to wait for long. Free Parking is not available. ATM and cash/cheque deposit machines are available in the branch. Paid parking available

You wanna simply loose your phone credit with no help from a leading bank then call Emirates NBD, their IVR provides little help and leave customers totally confused.Why isnt there any live person to assist during calls to customer service..

As I promised that I will continue to provide follow up on my suspended cards issues so here is the latest.My cards were suspended on march last week Because I am at the end of my job contract.Then I was advised by customer service to deposit cash and block will be removedI requested 3000 limit so they deduced 3800 in eachOne week later they realized it was wrong advice by bank lowest limit on this dnata card can be 8000 so they creditedAsked me to go to bank again sign papers for this request....,Fast forward they deduced 10,000 Aed each total 20,000 and I got several days later a text that issue is resolved.I called customer service just now talk to Mr Cletus d Souza who look at everything and gave me news that cards are still block and limit is 3000 Aed. He told me to call relationship manager Fatima abubakr who always give me one advice only let me call you backThen she never call.Lately I have visited ms hakeema al hamooshi at all wasl and pooja vjas at oud Mehta branch they all keep telling me they are working on it.I used to have a call from Nbd Facebook admin for follow up. They realized the beauty of the matter and stopped following up.I have been advised by my friends to look for wasta for local people which seems to be weird initially because it is private bank and I am getting a card against my deposited money.But I think I take this advise and look for that kind of help. Liability letter it takes 14days to get it. And some of the call center agent they talk to like you are not a client like stranger. I waited from june 18 till now they called to collect today when im getting it they told me sorry something wrong spelling they cannot give it to me come back tomorrow you will get it in shala.
