They closed my account because i didnt update my info although i did update 3 times online. I called the call center 3 times and spend more than 30 min each time explaining my case, and they asked me to update my info again... Finally they asked me i have to visit the branch and open a new account and they will give me a check for the money in my old account.I live abroad and now i have to fly over to resolve this issue personally...So terrible !!!!!

CDM does not accept more than 30 notes per transaction. CDM does not displays account title so need to triple check account number before making deposit, especially large deposit. Nice place !

One of the worst banks in the Middle East - I have (unfortunately) multiple HSBC accounts globally, and compared to any other financial institution, these guys fail big time. You have little to no protection as a consumer and client.

HSBC is by far the best bank in the world and i am proud to have an account there. HSBC head office in Dubai does not meet the real HSBC standard which is really sad. Competence, customer service, CRM, etc... is very rare there. Staff and management expect customers to shut up and be thankful to have an account there. This is the impression that many and many people have. Time for a change

Be careful using this bank foreign transfer department. I was getting a Swift transfer back in January, but it never came through. Then the bank should resend it and it failed again. They have done three attempt all failed. Every time they charge 10% in transfer fee and never accept their mistake.The third attempt I dont believe they sent it at all, instead I received fraud mails regarding the transfer.

I have three times to solve online banking not working, still not solved. I need to go fourth time. There is no way to contact bank except going to main branch. Small branches in the malls are totally useless.

Having a terrible experience with this branch in particular. The Relationship manager are not responsible at all. They dont care if your premiere customer or not they are just least bothered about anything or to do any work for you. Unless they are making money they chase you, but the moment you need to get some documents from them they have long procedures and time lines plus no responsibility. The requirements to obtain the documents keep changing from every person to person you interact with the branch. There is no one common understanding within the bank employees. Its a real surprise to see such customer service from such a multi national bank. Based on other reviews noe I totally concur that HSBC has lost its glory.

Really unorganized bank in many aspects. Feels like personnel is doing you a favour to provide you a basic service. Advance and Premier barely reach the basic service level. Endless waiting even in not busy times. This branch does not deliver the premises of HSBC.

HSBC has lost its edge completely in UAE. It is not what it used to be 10 years ago. Today it is inefficient, the call centre staff are not trained and give misleading information. For everything you have to go to the branches that are only very a few and close by 2pm.

This is a joke not a bank. First you want 30 minutes for staff to finish chatting, then every person you ask gives a different answer. Avoid. Opened an account with them, but will need to switch ASAP. Extremely bad experience.

Very bad customer service1. Lack of coordination between phone customer service and their perspective branch.2. Conflicting information received from different employees3. Very slow processes as it took me about 40 mins just to obtain a letter which is already in the system and to be printed on a letter head.In summary not very good experience and decided to close the account after 12 years

Despite the availability of more then 28 visible counters on the ground floor, the customer services team works at a snails pace. You will need to invest atleast 1 hour on the waiting area to do 5 minute banking task. HSBC needs to assess the productivity levels at this Bur Dubai branch. Jumeirah Branch at Al Safa Park is so much more efficient. Extremely appalling and disappointed.

Disaster customer service... came there 3 days ago to reactivate my account, 2 persons ahead of me only my token says 18mins wait, I waited 40mins! Once done I go again there for deposit today, teller tells me my account still not active, need to get token for customer service, shows 0 ahead and 0min waiting... after 30mins I decided to leave, I think of depositing my money elsewhere.

So many counters are available, however only 20% are attending the customers in the most inefficient way, the ticketing system estimated 7.5 minutes until Ill get served, however it took half an hour :(Not recommended to go there at all, try the other branches hoping they might be better.
