Worst customer support and bank. When i got the card they said it is free for life and now they are charging the annual fee. When i try to cancel the card no response and it is literally frustrating. Now they are not lifting call also. Worst ever and not at all trust worthy.Highly recommend not to take this credit card.

I would not recommend this card. It started when the bank charged for some insurance and credit shield which I did not sign up for. Apparently the card representative just checked the boxes without asking if I would like to have these products ! How dishonest and unscrupulous! So please check your statements thoroughly!Then the exclusions started to come in. Categories which used to enjoy 5% cashback were trimmed to a miserable 1%.Finally an annual fee of 399aed plus vat is slapped onto the customers who were promised no annual fee for life when signing up.Whilst it is not legally wrong for the bank to do such things since there is a disclaimer that terms and conditions change etc, but this sort of tactics used to lure the customers in and introduce such changes within a short span of time (less than a year) makes one doubt the credibility, moral standing and integrity of the bank.

Negative star if possible.I should check the reviews before i apply for this card. DO NOT APPLY for this card please the agent (AHMED EGYPTIAN) will tell you that its free for life and the credit limit will be multiple of 7 of your salary. Well nothing is true! its not free 399/year and the limit is not even half of salary. Obviously they are just doing that so agents can meet their quotas. I will not be using it and will deactivate ASAP. Hopefully there is no closing fee.

This is not a Bank. It is a fraud by any standard. Nowhere on earth exists such an institution. They chose in Aug 2020 to stop sending you any statements or bills or invoices. Neither by email nor by sms. What does that mean? Only one thing. They are praying that you miss your payment deadline by one day to charge you their extortionist interest rates plus obscene late fees. Any country on earth would have closed them down long ago. Bunch of crooks. If I could write more obscene comments I would just as most of you would I’m sure.

I received the cash back credit card few months ago and they offered me to have 5% cash back for ALL the online transactions, it was fine for 2 months. Now they changed the rules and they only pay for some of the online transactions. Also if you pay something out of UAE they will charge you 3.5% but they did not say anything when I filled the application. Of course if you read the small letters may be you can find something a bout it. Additionally they charged me an insurance that I did not ask for and I had to request a refund.

Can we give negative stars on Google Review?? They definitely deserve that. My Credit card statement was AED xxxx.3 according to Dubai First Application. I paid it. Then after 10 days they charged me with AED 110 without any info, saying you had to pay AED xxxx.31 & you paid 1 fil less. I paid the fine of AED but it did not stop there. Next month again they charged me AED 98 for that 1 fil of previous installment. I spoke to 3-4 Customer Service agents none of them had any clear explanation for that. It was getting over my nerves. Immediately blocked the card. I think all the negative reviews are real here. They are like bunch of cheaters. Highly Not recommended.

I’ll just share my story with Dubai First Bank and then you can chose wither you use their service or not... the issue started from the moment I received their cash back credit card... they blocked the card more than 25 times for an overdue amount and there wasn’t even an overdue amount but they have linked my account with another person and that guy was the one who had overdue amount with Their collection team... any how my card is blocked and during 7 months they were trying to solve the issue but the last answer was as this “ we don’t know how long this will take but it seems like it might take another 6 months or even more” said by their call center floor manager. Even canceling it was a headache I had to go for FAB Bank and talk to their customer service to call dubai first bank and try to cancel the credit it took around 2 months to cancel it also... I’ll summarize down some the issues I faced... 1- no call back by the concerned person when I request for it... 2- no one gave me a specific time to solve my issue...3- call center floor manager told me it’s okay to have a flu located account with someone that’s normal 😂...4- they didn’t keep their promises with me... 5- sometimes they give me Arabic speaker Abd sometimes English speaker so when I request for Arabic speaker they always say you have to get back and change your setting but I never set my setting to speak to English speaker and why do I get Arabic speaker sometimes when in my settings it says I’m an English speaker that’s very strange...5- the time to solve even a small issue takes at least 1 week.. 6- the way they spoke to me from complaint team was not nice at all in my perspective it’s like Im the one who made the fault of duplicating names in one account 😄🤣... I have so many other things but it’s time to stop wasting my time with this bank

One of the worst worst groups to be dealing with. All the below mentioned reviews about Dubai First are so true. Avoid it.Just sharing to make you aware.I had a Dubai First Platinum credit card (Limit - AED 27,000) and was first used on 31st August 2019 and i had received a message for the transaction and and also when the payment was due. (I did not have the Dubai first app at this time). payment was done within the given time.Recently, I again had some transactions in the month of November 2020. Neither did i receive an message stating the amount is due for payment nor an email. With the current scenario (covid, salary delays/cuts), i missed the payment due date and only realized that i had an outstanding payment in Feb 2021 when i downloaded and activated the new cash back card that i received from Dubai First as an upgrade to my existing card. Sadly the limit was AED 1,000 on this cash back card. This card was activated on 9th February 2021.The cash back card was supposedly an upgrade to the platinum card. But they reduced the limit drastically from AED 27,000 to AED 1,000 and kept charging me an over-limit fee along with late payment fee because my transaction was above AED 1, 000. What a cool way of extortion. There is no proper means of communicating with Dubai First as well.I had contacted the customer service team on 14th Feb 2021 to which till date I havent received a response yet. But yes, statements with late payment fees are received on time.there is no dedication from Dubai First whatsoever. The only motive is make money in any possible way.

Dubai first is one the worst bank that you will ever find in UAE. These are not just my words but an experience that I had with this bank.1. Pathetic customer service team. You will never receive any response to your mail.2. Example - There was a payment miss of 0.75 Fils from my end on January, 2021 for a overall credit card bill value of AED 12,500 there was absolutely no noise about it till I found a AED 750 interest charged on the total value (AED 12,500) for not paying 0.75 Fils. I was taken by a stock and surprise to see BILLED FINANCE CHARGES in my statement & immediately called the customer service center, the agent picks up and say you have no other choice other than to pay it. I escalated it to the higher authorities, then a supervisor calls me & says pay it or face legal charges.I am very clear that my February, 2021 bill will not be paid until the interest amount is waived off. The expectation was clearly set with Dubai First bank authorities.To the Management of Dubai First- please teach your staffs how to communicate with the customer, if this will continue, I am sure Dubai First will vanish from the market.For people who are reading my review, please be very careful with these guys. They will penalise you left, right & center.My case is still on with them (13th February, 2021)

I have personally been traumatized by the level of their customer service and if u still buy here is the list of problems I faced:* They lure u by offering high amount.* High interest rate* No grace period for payment.* Liability letter will take 15 days* Card closing will take 45 days + customer service will purposely not register the request.* Any excess amount will not be transferred for minimum 60 days from closing the card.* If u take emi or loan on card, you pay the entire amount and interest for preclosing.* Each customer service rep will give u different story and rules. No proper communication from them at all.Waste of time and add stress to your life. Better go for good bank credit card.

If there is lesser than 1, that would be more accurate to describe it. Not transparent to its client and a lot of fishy hidden charges that they dont explain/Inform. Maybe varies on who are the agent speaking but it only shows that as organization, they dont give a clear training on product information so the staff doesnt know or they really do not want to tell.I feel sorry for those who have account in this credit facility.

I have been trying to call in the past 5 days and all you will ever get is the waiting music... this is how they handle customers now:Dubai First: You have a concern?Customer: Yes, as a matter of fact I doDubai First: Here, listen to our waiting music and stay on the line until the issue is resolved with the music. They said they’re fab bank and that they’re offering me a credit card, when it was time for signing the application it turns out they’re not FAB but rather dubai first, so I respectfully declined and refused to sign the papers. They started harassing me through whatsapp and calling from different numbers, claiming that they will be black listing me or whatever.Horribly unprofessional staff, its like dealing with professional bullies and harassers. I am very very disappointed with Dubai First Credit Card and I do not recommend to anyone.Firstly they called me and pitched their offerings for the “free for life” credit card, I was impressed by their offer and decided to take one, however after a year, they slapped me with annual fee along with finance charges, when I inquire about the same; they said they never had a free for life offer. I fought back looping the sales and service to discuss the offering and contract of which they never came back which means I have to pay and I paid.Secondly, earlier this year they called and gave an option to convert my outstanding balance to easy installment with added interest rates and I agreed for certain period, however the very next month they send me 4 times the amount of my first EMI and when asked again they said they were the conversion fee to be paid upfront which I was never informed over an agreement call, ultimately I have to pay.Thirdly, during Covid times, Banks we’re giving several months deferral of loans and EMI’s on credit cards upon the discretion of Central Bank. I was heavily affected by Covid and decided to ask for two months deferral which they firstly disagreed and after few calls they agreed to give one month deferral, however I though that for the month of deferral they would not charge me but they charged me with the overlimit fee and finance charges.During the Covid times I only paid the minimum due and now after 4 months I have late payment fees 1/3 of my total payment which means now I have to pay 30% extra amount on top of my total payment. I did not receive any communication of such accumulating payment and the Bank is not empathetic to Covid times to customers, they made money by slapping overlimit fee, finance charges and mis-selling the card as ‘free for life’.I did had a call yesterday to the Bank and all they helped was asked me pay more money because of somehow they been accumulation late payment fee even I paid all the installments in time.I have credit card from ENBD and ADCB who are very transparent but the hidden charges in Dubai First is absolutely terrible and the Bank do not help in such. Please look into the contract and sign and DO NOT buy if the sales tell you they card is free for life, ask them the clause in contract.

If google have the option to give a company negative ratings, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. Dubai first is hands down the worst most unprofessional most dysfunctional bank I have ever dealt with. I have taken the moments card from them and lived to regret it deeply in the coming months. Dealing with their customer service is one of the most frustrating experiences ever, their staff is often very poorly informed, bordering on incompetent. The Worst bank in UAE. They do not have explanation and clarifications for the interest they charge on card. They are only there to trap people and kill them. Due to job loss and other financial crisis, I am unable to pay card minimum amount also. Still without feeding my family I pay this bank just to avoid their torture and stay in UAE without legal issues, so i clear my other loan and die peacefully here. Worst bank ever! Hadnt received any sms reminder for payment amount and due date since they were migrating everything to the apparently AMAZING APP, which is useless btw.Since I didnt receive any statement, I forgot to pay my Dec bill, which was 690AED. Two months after I received a sms for payment of 1,345AED.Called the customer center to make a complaint but agent refused to give me a complaint reference number saying they are valid charges. They had sent sms to the customers saying that statement will be in the app only.They can waive one late payment charge if I spend 2,000 something by certain period.And they are charging insurance as well, which is mentioned only on the application documents only and you dont get a copy after that so if you do not read all terms and cons, then you will be paying this without knowing it. Other banks charge insurance as well but its mentioned on the brochure come with the card so you get time to read and its easy to deactivate this service but not for Dubai First credit card.I am going to complaint to central bank for all the non sense charges. Suggest everyone has same issue make the complaint as well.

Baddest Credit Card company in this whole world! No service but charging fees and customer cannot exit freely. So many procedures to penalize. Never join this bank it is basically a scam agency. Bully’s and cheats.This is the worst bank of all time, I tried to cancel my credit card after 3 years of being over charged because their apps don’t work and they send you confusing text messages from the collection department and another department. I asked them how much was owed. it was a lot that I was unaware of as the information they give you is vague, I wanted to pay the full amount to close the account as it would save me money. I was under the impression the account was closed and then I started to receive threatening messages saying I now owe 2000 dirhams for an account I believed to be closed. Now I have learned that they no longer bank with Emirates nbd and I can’t pay this bill as my card is cut up and I used to pay through the enbd app. This is the worst and most costly financial decision of my life and I really wish this bank would close.

Worst bank and worst customer care services, I used the card in the month for September for 31 aed, since I didnt receive any statement and their so called reprentative mentioned No Extra charge, I paid 32 aed, then I got a message of outstanding balance of 0.91 aed, I made the payment of 10 Aed,then I never used that card hence not bothered, their app is also horrible. yesterday they sent a message late fee payment 379.5 aed... I wanted to give 0 star ratings as per there service, the worst service i ever seen my life, nobody will answer the call if we try to contact them worst mobile app and there is no email communication for the statement from them, even we have inform before but we got a rude answer from the call center before long time, very very bad experience.

If I could put minus score I would. I was promised the free credit card from the Sales person. Once I found out there was an annual charges on the card, I asked for the card to be closed. They told me to pay the annual fee in order to close the card even tho the card was never used. I wasted so much time fighting with them. This practice is definitely illegal. These people are thieves.

One of Worst Bank with whom i am dealing, i was trapped and i suggest my friends not to use Credit Card from this looters bank, i want to share my bad experience with you. actually i made 6 transaction in the month Feb-2019 combined total amount become 2624 dhs, one stupid guy named Vinod called me and advise for Smart payment plan, which is actually stupid plan, there was shortage 500 dhs with me so i decided to go for this plan and it was advised to me to clear the principle amount when ever i had money, considering that i will pay back all amount with EMI i proceeded with it, That guy took OTP from me and converted EMI for 48 Numbers for which i am paying 3 percent interest and 120 EMI per month, they hidden the information about the EMI numbers and rate of interest, now i have to pay dhs8880 for the amount of dhs2624,.please friends dont go for this bank.

Never Take Any Credit Card/ Loan from this Fraud bank. I am requesting since 2 years to cancel my credit card after paying full amount but in vain and now came to know some payment like annually fee etc - Complain even central bank they didn’t take any action- So they doing deliberately and all are frauds with mutual business benefits .Full Time Cheaters and Frauds

I regret the day I decided to take credit card from this bank. Their sales representatives and customer care centre team is comfortable lying. This bank is full of fraud. I am just trying to get rid of them and inform as many people as possible to stay away from them.-edited-I have been trying to cancel this credit card for over a month. This bank is SCAM. Stay away from them. I have complained to central bank and mastercard global.

I have never had an account/Card with this bank and I do not even reside in the UAE. For the past two weeks, my family and I have been harassed with abusive phone calls from over 20 different SIM cards regarding an outstanding payment of one of our distant relatives! The goons making the calls claim to be chasing an outstanding payment for Dubai First Bank.Are we responsible for the loans taken by our relatives and friends? What gives these people the right to harass us when we have nothing to do with their bank or the person in question.I am already in talks with my lawyer to file a suit/take legal action against this bank for harassment. If anyone has a similar experience, please write about it.

They are very unprofessional and customer care is very rude. Never recieved the Dubai parks vouchers even after calling multiple times. End up paying 600 Dhrms as late fees as they charged some Insurance fees n i missed to pay that.
