Absolutely horrible experience, avoid at all cost! Even if you want to go to Spain, better apply from another Schengen country that comes under VFS system.I applied for a visa in March 2020, then COVID came into action and I was given an option to withdraw my passport until they start processing visas again. I was told that I won’t have to pay again once they start issuing visas again.Finally after more than a year I received a message stating that my application is ready for collection. Tried calling the BLS helpline but nobody answered. Had to come all the way to Tecom just to be told that you can ignore that message and if you want to apply again, you can initiate a new application with a repayment.What a third class service in a first world country.

Its really the worst experience ever. The service was only available on the Primer Lounge, which charges 420 AED more. Furthermore, you cannot pay by card, had to go downstairs to the ATM, withdraw the money and go up to pay again. The service is 846 AED in total, however, the cashier lady said she didnt have change. For at least 4 people (in front me), she didnt give the 4 AED change back. If you ask people to pay by cash, at least prepare some changes...

This place is a joke,An average of 60% of bookings show but the normal office still send walk ins to the premium lounge.It is the same thing, just looking to take extra money for premium service.There is nothing premium here though, they have bottled water 👏 wow well done, and a cheap coffee machine 👏It is just the same thing, they just want more money.I dont understand why people cannot pay a normal price, when the staff in the normal office are having free slots available due to no shows.Thank you so much BLS for stealing our money, while your staff do nothing in the normal offices 🙌💯They have a waitlist for the premium lounge only, not for the standard office. Honestly there is nothing premium 🤣By the time you get to the premium lounge it takes longer to process and the staff are just as slow. Two administrative clerks doing everything and one manager in his office.Waiting time 50 minutes 🙌

Unbelievably awful. Website is very poor. No updated & clear information. Tried to book appointment on June 27, 2021. Its showing all slots booked till July 18 2021 & other dates are freezed.Tried to call. Was put on hold for 25 mins & nobody answered. Had to hung up in furstration.Even if Spain is not accepting any applications, it should be on the website. Poor choice of selecting BLS. Pathetic Service !!

Website doesn’t work, call Center doesn’t pick up and when you try to physically go to their premises they are extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. Not sure what the Spanish embassy is trying to achieve here but definitely VFS is superior quality to BLS. Actually it’s unfair to put both companies in one sentence

Staff is very friendly. They help and assist you in every possible way. People, please understand that this is just a centre and they do not issue your visas and they cannot help your application in any other way than filling and guiding you. They know about the visa status as much as you do. The embassy takes minimum 15 working days to give the visa status (it excludes Fridays and Saturdays and any other public holiday)

Satisfied from staff.dont go for premier lounge at all . there is nothing like that.dont for SMS subscription (you can track your application through the web)dont for the express delivery (upon visa refusal you will lose that money and you have to go to their office to collect the passport)i got refusal even everything was completed and clearly mention.refusal point1: justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided (everything was clearly mentioned and all the supported documents was there)2: justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided (this is funny and stupid - my return ticket and i all bookings all the itinerary details from first point to last point and the supporting documents was there.really disappointing and bad experience.

I dont know about the other reviews but my experience with BLS was pretty amazing. the online track application thing was updated frequently and fruitful. The call centre was also helpful when i called to ask for my passport withdrawal. the whole thing took around 1 week and a half till i got my passport back! i give them 5 starts

Little bit concerned after reading so many negative reviews, but I have to visit here as I’m only traveling to Spain.Turns out my experience is very good. Friendly and helpful staff, did not wait too long, got my visa in 10 days.Sure they are understaffed and need to make profits. But everything is on the website, just study the requirement and prepare your documents accordingly. This is only a collection center, it’s not responsible for your visa status and can only advise.Make your appointment online early, yes the spaces are very limited, even for VIP lounge.

Awful service!!! If this is premium lounge, what is going on in the ordinary lounge? And how does the Spanish consulate feel about sending people to this joke of a service?Tiny dirty room, very hot, not enough seats, not even water to drink. They don’t care about appointments or token. They don’t call you so you actually have to fight for a chance to talk to a specialist. Only 2 of them. Prepare to spend hours. Awful! I don’t know why they are charging for this or why they call it premiumI don’t know why the Spanish decided to give their business to BLS instead of VFS that they used before. At least there I knew what I was paying for: seats, drinks, waiting room and properly organised token system

Great experience. Passport was done much faster than estimated, SMS arrived on time. We were offered all kind of support regarding our questions which other visa centres never provide (most say just bring your papers as per the website), we were also given advices on the best ways to handle certain specific case situations, and the centre was extremely flexible. The visas arrived very fast, despite public holidays, although do not risk - this depends on the embassy more than the centre. But we are very happy with the service, pickup was easy and with no headache, application was just as easy, staff is very helpful. I was very afraid because I have had some horror experience before with visa centres, but this one was doing their job very well.

Worst company everthey made us do the visa without any advise, they submit my husbands visa application on his old residency visa and he got rejected, obviously because the lady who collected the form did the mistake in submitting his old residency visa.This is unprofessional, we are paying money, not to have this kind of service. We dont find our money on the streets. I hope this email reaches the manager or supervisor, I hope the manager is not as ignorant as the lady who worked on the desk.I wont advise anyone doing their visa at BLS, unless they wake up and do the right job. This is unacceptable. Youre stealing money from people !!!!

After reading all of negative comments we were scared to go to the BLS. But we were surprised with the friendly and polite attitude, fast service. We got tourist visas for the whole family during 1 week and a half. Absolutely don’t understand all this negative.

Pls audit BLS for unethical practises in online appointments and faking the google reviews, as you can see the guys giving BLS 5 star reviews are the guys who are only reviewing BLS services across various locations and nothing else on google!! Absolute sham to misguide public perceptions when they have pathetic service!! Its super difficult to get an appointment for the Spain visa from Dubai...nvr available online, no response to emails, been waiting for 2 weeks with no luck!! Dont ever go for express delivery offer- its an utter non-sense. They offer to deliver on the same day but wont. Instead, you can easily go to their office and collect on the same. They have tied-up with a totally unprofessional courier team.

They are super friendly and super professional, word of advise attach all documents that can support your return to UAE. Docs like car registration, house rental or ownership contract, marriage certificate and any other legal contract that can proof your return as I’ve been rejected cause they did not have sufficient proof of my return

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Fly into any other country if you can. Tried for a month to get a booking. Eventually had to use the Premium service for which you paid over a grand extra for nothing. Still takes the same time. I’d guess they do this on purpose to earn more revenue. I’d give them zero stars if it were possible.

The experience was so bad, very unprofessional not to pickup calls and inform people on holidays, I came all the way for collection from Shj to find out its closed for Eid Al Fitr and its not even Eid the website says it will be off on 5th and 6th of June, today is 3rd! Even the security guy was not informed there was a paper on the closed door saying its closed for Eid and will remine closed till 8th! What if I was traveling during this break!

Slowest schengen visa process in Dubai for specific nationalities (Egyptian and Tunisian), they will hold the passport for around 20-23 days. Faster for Indians (less than 10 days). they dont have VIP service, get the Visa from another EU country that is not managed by BLS if you can. (And make it your first point of entry or longest stay)

I am seeing some questions regarding the appeal process in case of visa refusal so let me help out with my experience since neither BLS or the embassy will help.In case you get a rejection of your Spain schengen application, you will be given a form that has to be filled in Spanish. You will need to fill this form with your name, address, passport number, contact details (phone and email ID) and on the second page of the form you will need to write down facts, justifications on why you feel the decision must be reversed and then mention all the additional supporting documents you are attaching. If you do not know Spanish, you need to get in touch with a translation center to first translate the form for you and then to translate your responses back to Spanish.You will then need to submit this appeal back to BLS along with all the documents and your passport copy. BLS will mail this to the embassy and after that, BLS is no longer part of the process. As and when your application is reviewed by the embassy, they will call you and tell you a resolution is reached but they wont tell you what it is. You will need to drive all the way to the embassy in Abu Dhabi and collect a letter which is in Spanish which will tell you if it is successful or not. Mostly it will be a refusal, but you never know. My recommendation is to apply via another country because neither BLS nor the Spanish embassy will support you much. Good luck.
