Amazing experience of desert safari. Warning: don’t eat too much before the trip as it might trigger your stomach. Eat minimum 1 hour before the trip.If you use Planet Tours, they will pick you up at your place/hotel. Then it takes around 45 minutes to the desert safari field. The driver knows good places to take pictures in the desert. After that the dune bashing is started. It was fun for me.After the dune bashing in the desert, they will take you to their camp in the middle of the desert for refreshment and snack, and there are several activities in the camp such as camel riding, tattoo, etc.After that dinner is provided with local cuisine and BBQ. While enjoying your dinner, there is belly dancing show.

Very fun. Had some beer, bought some souvenirs, and watched a belly dancer. The food was very good. Got to ride a camel around. There were ATVs to ride the dunes. The best part was riding the jeep to the place. Our driver drove all over the place and we were drifting all over. I also liked the location. This whole experience was like a little taste of the middle east. I highly recommend this tour. The tour itself is cheap. Anything you buy there is very expensive, so be careful.

We had good time there, it would be better if its a little bit long, food was good belly dance and tanoora dancing were fun, people were helpful very good for tourists and first timers in Dubai , check the photos attached.

Very nice place to relax after a ride through the desert. It is better to arrive at night so you dont suffer too much with the heat. Inside the camp you will find several stores that sell souvenirs and other traditional stuff but they are overpriced. Outside the camp you may get a camel ride! there are also sand motorcycles for rent. Generally, assuming you paid for a tour and they brought you here, you will get free snacks when you first get inside the camp, and after a show of traditional dancing, you will get a free barbecue. There are bathrooms in the place. You will spend around 3 hours in this place, a little longer than needed.

Planet Tours picked myself and my wife up from our hotel, Al Bustan Centre in Al Nahda for our safari tour. The pick up was around 3 in the afternoon and as the pick up vehicle was for 6 we picked a family of 4 as well, then we proceeded to the desert/Planet Tours Camp.There was a pit stop before we actually got to the desert to allow for a bathroom break and snack and other tour cars were meeting at the point. Once we got back into the vehicle the adventure began, we headed to the desert as a convoy of about 60 land cruiser and started the dune bashing in the desert. For someone who doesn’t like roller coasters, I was surprisingly enjoy the bashing of the 4x4. The duneing lasted for about 45 mins to an hour with 2 stops for photos.When we finally arrived at the Planet Tours campsite, we were met with welcome drinks and starters. We were shown to our seating area and explained to that soft drinks were unlimited and part of the package. Also included in the package were henna tattoos, Arabian costumes, shisha pipe smoking, a camel ride, some entertainment and a BBQ buffet dinner. Other attractions included quad biking which my wife and I had been wanting to do since we arrived in Dubai so we jumped at the chance to. Quad Biking was not included in the package and cost about 200-250 AED each.By the time we actually got onto the quad bikes it was almost dark which added to the adventure of being out in the desert. After being back from the quad biking we did the camel ride followed by shisha and then had our meal.Overall the experience lasted about 5-6 hours and it was well worth it.

Very good service. Worth the money. The best package is the dune bashing safari, the food, shisha and watiching the belly dancer which was very beauteous, captivating, charming, and classy. If you are lucky to have Arun as your driver, he will give you the safari and dune bashing thrills in the desert. A must do in Dubai!

Awesome experience. The drive requires a strong stomach though so be prepared. Chilled vibe at the camp site, with free canal rides, hookah and soft drinks. Alcohol and quad biking are extra. Food is decent. Lots of photo opportunities especially when the sun sets.

Excellent adventure! Driving through dunes was amazing. Driver well trained and skilled in giving a safe roller coaster ride in the dunes. Riding camels made for great pics and dressing in Arab garb was tourist-cheesy fun. Can go on but bottom line great value for $.

Said was a great driver, turned up to collect us bang on time & was very friendly. The camp was fun, lots of yummy food & as much juice as you wanted. My kids were delighted with the whole experience & the swings & slide were an added bonus for them while we watched the dancing. Official photo & DVD package was only £10. Sand boarding was tricky but the camels were lovely & a short minute ride was enough for us, just seeing/meeting them was great. We could see Burj Khalifa light show in the distance over the dune!

Loved the buggy ride, dune bashing with the big land cruiser and the camel ride. They picked us up from the hotel and then brought us back. Great experience.

The camp is good compared to some 13 camp I visited and the camp is clean food is much better...camel ride queue is long feel sorry for camels 3 camel for around 200 People’sNo guide line for sand boarding no guide to assist. inexperienced people don’t try and waiting from dinner time to last show almost kill you you sit and do nothing for 1hr just waiting for last show. Not friendly with special need people no food on table service for elderly and quads are broken and old

The restrooms are clean. Staffs are so accomodating. The food will really take you to the middle eastern culture, camels you can go for a ride. The entertainment is superb! I love the belly dancer. 💃

Fantastic service from pickup to drop off. Fantastic fun dune bashing, camel ridding was a blast, on a grumpy camel called BMW. Think he was a little hot and bothered. Quad biking was enough with 30 mins in 42c heat. Sand boarding. Was a must try, even if rubbish at it. An overall good excursion and well worth the price.

Thank God I booked with smart destinations go card from Costco. The driver was awesome..pickup from hotel was on time.. the drive thru the desert on the sand dunes was thrilling. You can tell the man can drive. I saw other drivers of other tour operator driving in a rash and reckless manner. The food was ok ..Id give 3 stars.. I was excited to do Sand surfing but when I went up once with the board up in my hand and I came down once that was it.I would caution my friends in the West and from India, dont go for the cheap 79 or 59 aed tours, the wont pick u from hotel, but youd have to go to their pickup points, them they will fill you in buses and take you just outside the dunes on to an assembly point, then take 6 of you at a time to their camp. We had one 4x4 to us for the entire trip. With these guys, one 4x4 will ferry 6-8 times. With kids and older people it wont be a good experience.

Planet Tours took us to the Dubai Desert, we booked a full day, they picked us up at the hotel, we spent a day of great adventure, we rode a camel and had dinner in the middle of the desert with typical foods and presentations, it was soooo much fun! I advise, it was way beyond my expectations to do this safari with them!
