Stumbled upon this beautiful place while looking for a place to have tea (in trade centre area!). The staff was very polite and so helpful, they didnt have Karak Tea in the menu but agreed to prepare it specially for us! We ordered Tea, salad and hot chocolate.Beautiful interior, good food, helpful staff! They also had great offers for breakfast.Worth a visit I would say!

A nice Syrian cuisine in Shkh Zayed Rd. The place is quite new hence it’s clean and shiny. The food is so tasty and fresh. They have a rich menu with so many varieties however, I didn’t like the kunafa, it wasn’t to the standards. They bake it outside and refrigerate it in the restaurant.

A little more quiet than its competitor down the road, but serves equal or better cuisine in a friendly environment. Lamb Chops, mixed Shwarma platter, mixed grill were all done just right. The Lamb chops were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Menu items may be 2-3 AED more expensive but food items are more generously packaged and accompanied with free starters and bread.

Amazing place, beautiful interiors, comfortable seating, friendly staff and amazing amazing food, this place has everything one expects from a good restaurant...This newly renovated restaurant is a perfect evening spot for delicious and super affordable Syrian food.They even deliver to whole of SZR. My office lunch is from them 3-4 times a week. Absolutely love this place!

In the last week of Ramadan we wanted to visit Diwan Al Hana & luckily we were invited there for the Grand Iftaar. While driving on Sheikh Zayed Road, we have always passed by the restaurant & finally we got the chance to dine in there for the first time and try their Iftar buffet.Diwan Al Hana is an authentic Syrian restaurant. It offers traditional Syrian and Arabic cuisine. Generally it’s open from early in the morning till late in the night.The two-floored restaurant is spacious with a fusion of modern and traditional decor. We liked the beautifully tiled walls & the floor, funky wooden furniture, dim lighting, open kitchen & gorgeous tableware. It has an inviting and very friendly vibe.They served a special Iftar where soup, cold mezze, appetizers, Ramadan drinks & hot beverages are served on the table & for main course and desserts they’ve a buffet.Our table had all the Iftar essentials like dates, dry fruits, water, Ramadan drinks like Jallab, Qamar El Din & Ayran, Soup. Next they got us a range of Salads & Cold Mezze.There were salads like Fattoush, Tabouleh and Beetroot Salad. The salads were fresh and light. In cold mezze they served Hummus, Mutabal, Mohamara, Vine Leaves stuffed with rice & Foul Mokalla. We loved these delicious and flavorful cold mezze.Then the tasty Fatteh Makdous was served on the table. It had eggplant filled with lamb meat, crispy bread, tomato & topped with tahini sauce.After this, we moved on to the buffet & helped ourselves to Kebbeh, mini Fatayer, Burak Cheese & Fatteh.Mixed Grill, Full Lamb, Friekeh Meat, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Kabseh, Basha O Asakro, Samakaharah, Vermicelli Rice & Quater Cheese Pasta were the main course dishes in their Iftar buffet. It was a good selection as there was something for everyone.The dessert selection was small & we liked the well-made Wardat Ashta and Katayef. For the health conscious there were Fresh Fruits too.We enjoyed our Iftar experience at Diwan Al Hana. The food, the service & the atmosphere was good.We would recommend this place to everyone.

I keep coming back for their amazing Makdous Fatteh.Eggplant (stuffed with minced meat ), fatteh and generous pine nuts, pomegranate are melting in your mouth.The ambiencie is elegant, modern. The service friendly.Coming here I really wish I have a bigger stomach..

All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service. The food was amazing, and we enjoyed perfect wait service from Qusai.

Most of my friends think the Middle East cuisine is all about Hummus, Tabbouleh and Shawarmas. They do not realize that the Syrian Cuisine is one of the richest in the world. Diwan Al Muhanna refreshingly serves some of the most common to-die-for authentic Syrian food. I cant get enough of it, if only the location was closer to where I work or live!

Food is good, they made me wait for too long for just a small mixed grill plate.

Very bad experience. The service is not good. We ordered starters which didnt come by the end of the meal despite we reminded them several times. Finally when they arrived they were over cooked from outside and inside they were raw . Moreover they couldnt serve the full amount of the starter. Never visit again.

Good taste but not authentic. Order anything mandi or madhabi or madghoot but the meat tastes almost the same while rice is different.

This place is the definition of value for money, especially with their daily lunch meals. I first learned about it from zomato, but it’s no longer one of the online options. However if you call them or go to the restaurant, you can still get it. A main dish, soup and a salad for 35aed! Most of what I have tried turned out to be delicious dishes. What more could you ask for? There aren’t so many Syrian places in Dubai, or at least I don’t know them. I love this place, but I usually order. I specifically love the warak ainab the Syrian way, which I think they call it yarak? Or something like that.

Before it was my favorite Syrian place on sheikh Zayed since they reopened a place, but last time we ordered from you shish, the meat was with weird smell and finally we felt sick after it, before last time - lamb cubes portion was too small not as usually , you need to take care about quality control as it’s getting worse and worse.I want to update my review since one year passed. Yesterday we ordered shishtauk and the taste was disgusting! It’s made from frozen meat, very hard. The portion is big but I couldn’t complete it. Unfortunately quality is dropping

Ordered Molokhiya , it wasnt as i expected , it was leaves which the waiter didnt mention , the chicken breast pieces which came with it was so hard to chue , ordered my bill 5 min. After my food came in, no one sugested to do anything about that not even the waiter ,although i have explained it to him

We went on a Groupon Voucher, and this is what I disliked about this place. They just want to get rid of you because you or on a voucher! Its like hello, we paid for it! We arent here for free!Overall the staff were okay, but they kept on rushing us although the place was empty, so I dont understand the rush. After lunch, they asked us if we wanted to have desert, and we told them in 10 minutes. They kept on asking every 1 minute and we still said no. The 4th time they just kept it on the table like they wanted us to have it quickly and leave. We expressed our frustration, and they just stayed quiet. To conclude, Service is terrible. Food is good but really heavy. So if you are dieting or watching your weight then forget about this place. If you are a Lebanese food fan, bear in mind that Syrian food is heavier than Lebanese food (more oils and lots of ghee).

Brings the traditional tastiest Syrian Damascene cuisine and atmosphere, we ordered lamb with foul from the daily Saturday dish and kibbeh labanaiyeh from the menu, it was just like if made at home.Hope theyll maintain their excellence.
