Variety of sushi were averagely good. Friendly staff. Decor and ambience is pleasing. Lovely table setup and centerpiece. Didnt know that we could order sashimi and request a specific sushi for the chef to make because we thought only whats there on the buffet we can eat. Will come back again!

We have tried many sushi places but this was our first time in UCCI. We were welcomed by Captain Lorie and she got us this amazing table at the side. We came for iftar and it was quite full so she helped us out really well. We were served excellently by waitress Micah, she brought all the food to our table as well as topped up our drinks. Even tho we had paid for a buffet, it felt like alacarte. Cherry to the top was when Chef Rio & Udaya sent us a special sushi custom made for us. It was absolutely delicious and unique! We highly recommend this place and will be here again for more!!!

Being a sushi lover, my experience at UCCI was great. The ambience was contemporary. The food was a perfect blend of authentic and fusion. The staff was polite and cordial. They maintained the COVID 19 hygiene. I ordered the Harra Roll, which is the traditional shrimp tempura roll along with Dragon Roll which was a sushi roll with crab and eel sauce and the flavors just seem to come together perfectly. Though my favorite was the Dynamite Roll which was a fried sushi roll with salmon tempura. The freshness of avocado, creaminess of the cheese drizzled with dynamite sauce is an absolute treat for all your palettes.I would definitely recommend UCCI located in Auris Inn, Barsha Heights for all your sushi appetites. They are moderately priced about 45 dhs for 8 pieces which is worth a try.

Big shout out to Chefs Rio & Udaya, team members Lorie and Micah for their exceptional hospitality and genuine customer service. This place is a true gem in Dubai. The sashimi and unlimited sushi was to a high quality, very fresh and great tasting. Starters of miso soup, dynamite shrimp, fish and calamari was always refilled. Staff are always on hand to help without needed to be asked which makes such a difference! The ONLY downside was they’re using a lot of plastic waste eg cutlery and soya sauce plastic tubs which is not the best from an eco point of view. Hope this can be looked into in the future! However, food and service was unbeatable, so I can’t wait to visit again! Thank you once again to the whole team for your service! ❤️

I highly recommend to trying itIt is the best sushi restaurant I have ever tried in Dubai.The quantities of sushi on the open buffet are very large and with many types of sushi and seafood, the wider Seafood Buffet in Dubai.Their prices are very acceptable and even cheap compared to the size of the buffet, indeed it is the best sushi restaurant I have ever tried.Quiet and nice atmosphere, they have shisha served on the second floor on a great terrace.The staff is very friendly and kind.Thanks you UCCI 🤗

The sushi quality is great, however the concept of all-you-can-eat is quite badly organized.There is like a buffet where you need the staff’s assistance to use it. However, the staff isn’t always there making it quite difficult to get what you want. Even if they are there, no one feels comfortable to get up 5 times as you usually take 5-6 sushis max at once.I’ve tried another places with different concept (waiters serving you at your table, and surprisingly it was even cheaper) and definitely like that approach more than this.

The place is understaffed so expect delays.The food was okay, the selection is limited, and some items can be made to order (but) they dont share a menu of the made to order items. Youll just have to ask. We had asked for a sashimi platter and was informed that each person can only get two. Very good and fast service! And good vibe to the place. However I was just disappointed they did not have Shrimp nigiri or Shrimp scampi! Only Shrimp fry.Overall good variety in Sushi, quality was not too bad for the price (all you can eat).

I returned to the Restaurant for a second time a couple of days ago.What a difference!I think they saw my previous review and had acted on it.Service was very good with the Manager Hannaica making a special effort to discuss everything. The food was also really good. The chef Rio made fresh sushi with salmon, shrimp, eel and tuna.No mayo and cream cheese insight.It was a much better experience.I will return and recommend this place.I hope they can maintain this high standard!This is my original Review from 5 days ago.Not great.The only sushi restaurant Ive ever been to that only had 2 types of fish, salmon and tuna. I had to ask the chef for the tuna.I think the chef trys hard but only has limited fresh fish. The staff tried to push crab stick sushi on me.No nigiri at all just rolls. Lots of mayonnaise and cheese on everything.Waiting staff werent great either. I waited to be seated despite being the only person there. I actually entered to go and find someone in the end. Then my drink never came!

Sushi are not fresh and raw salmon and tuna tasted not fresh at all its like been there for whole day the meat is almost dry as for raw fish. The service is poor and waitresses dont seem like to work and one waitress didnt talk nice to my friend. The server brought us in the table didnt tell us before not to bring the food by ourself and the other waitress kind of scold to us. Everything you asked they dont have or they dont know what you are asking, pretend dont have the dishes. Not worth for money worse experience ever. The website tells a lot of dishes to offer but in real maybe 10 items to eat for the whole buffet. Really wasted of my money.

Really great value for money and lovely, helpful staff. Sashimi, raw fish and cooked fish rolls available plus some salads, fried fish and miso soup. Casual vibe and not at all busy on a Monday night. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Clean place, belt is not working for safety purposes. Not all items are fresh, no much variety like most of the items were filled with crabs. I give one star to the stuff who were so helpful and cheerful, one star to the amazing salmon sashimi and one star to the fried appetizers and soup.

Its a quaint and intimate little sushi place where you can go hang and have some a decent conversation as well, with family or with friends. The staff were very friendly and all attentive to our requests. Gratitude to the Chef Rio as he prepared yummy sushi dishes off the menu for us and was always very patient in explaining the ingredients. Thank you as well to the amazing team Lorie and Marwa. Will definitely be revisiting.

Its a good experience as first time with my husband to visit this place. The ambiance is good and the food are delicious. Lorie and Mica are very accommodating and smiling always. They have given us the signature sushi as we are first time to their place. What a compliment we have today. My first time trying UCCI Sushi with a friend and we enjoyed it! We tried different types of sushi and cooked sushi and we absolutely enjoyed it. I also love the tempura and it is really delicious! My wife and I were craving Japanese food and spotted UCCI Sushi. Kudos to Captain Lorie and the staff at the restaurant for following protocols—table distancing and buffet-style serving which was assisted by our waitress, Micah. We loved their selection of sushi. Chef Rio even prepared sushi by request. The overall food experience was great! We will definitely return soon.

The place wasnt crowded and it was well decorated. The sushi was good but isnt very varied. I also dont understand why the soy sauce was in a plastic cup. The drinking cups were also plastic for some reason. However, the staff members where very nice and helpful.

I went there with my wife to try sushi for the first time, and they were extra delighted to help us have the best sushi experience. The taste is absolutely awesome and everything thing was obviously made fresh. Chefs Rio and Udaya were so nice and exited to make us specials that are not from this world, these guys are obviously so passionate about their work. The two ladies Lorie and Micah waiting on our table were also so nice and helpful, and answered our million questions about each type of sushi with a smile. Love this place, will surely get back soon.

Normally a sushi train but changed during covid, they offer unlimited sushi for just 79AED on Thursday evenings including one soft beverage or water. If you want tea it’s an additional cost. It also includes miso soup and deep fried seafood.

Very low quality sushi with restrictions of only 2 sushimi disk for a person although this is all you can eat day.The staff is very friendly and helpful but they need more staff to help them attend to other customers as the restaurant was full.Compering the price and quality to other all you can est sushi restaurants they are very low.

Loved our dinner at UCCI. Cheap yet they withstand a great quality and a great selection of rolls. Am a big sushi eater and i enjoyed it so much. The captain Maricar and the the attendant farwa made sure that we are attended at all times, clearing and interacting with us, handing us rolls whenever we needed to replenish our plates. And i asked for something special from the kitchen and chef rio and his colleagues delivered 2 different rolls beside the ones available in the buffet. I visited the restaurant with my husband at an all you can eat sushi evening for 89 AED with soft drinks. The offer was just wow and we gave it a try! I have to say that we were very happy to choose UCCI! The food was great, so many lovely options and super quality and quantity! Chef Rio & Udaya prepared a fresh selection of shushi for us which was delicious and for the rest we got plates from the buffet. They checked on us if we like it, the chefs are very good in the kitchen! Also the atmosphere that Captain Hannaica and waitress Lorie created was very warm and friendly, they assisted us with all the options and ensured Covid 19 regulations are followed at all times! Great food in good portions. One menu on an Android tablet. Understaffed and slow service. Brought my main first and starter second. Was not crowded just understaffed. Miso soup, bento box and unago and tobiko sushi was delicious.

I came here with my friend. We came by around 08:00 pm and it was pretty empty.We sat at the counter where the sushi was moving along the conveyor belt.The unlimited sushi dinner was for 99 dirhams and included unlimited soup as well.The varieties were vast and all the sushis were really tasty!The waiters would clear our tables as we ate and the ambience was brilliant.I really liked the place and to me, 99 for unlimited sushi is reasonable and something thats not offered else where!5/5!

Ive visited many sushi places in dubai but none compare to the experience I had in Ucci Sushi.The service was excellent, Farwa was always there whenever we needed her and our requests were answered almost instantly.The manager Lorie in particular was most friendly and cooperative and recommended many delicious plates for us to try.Last but not least, I want to thank the awesome chefs, Rio, Udaya and Pasindu for cooking everything to perfection, best sushi hands down.Will definitely come again with my family.

Great sushi and good value for money. Chef Rio and his team looked after me and my husband with excellent service. I would recommend for a all you can eat or a late night visit like we did. Excellent food and wonderful evening.

Sushi buffet selection was good and fresh, staff were nice, however administrative staff handling payments and reservation doesnt speak proper English or trying pretend so. I booked table for 2 adults and 3 y.o. child. At the time of booking I have been told that children below 4 or 5 are eating free and offered baby chair. I asked for just a normal chair because really 3yo doesnt need a baby chair. At the time of payment I was charged 50 aed for child using normal chair 🤦‍♀️ really doesnt make any sense, its not an airplane to pay for a seat!!

Amazing experience at the dinner buffet! The sushi is really good quality and tastes amazing - thanks to chef Rio! Hannaica and Lorie were always on hand to deliver amazing service and even brought us a plate of fresh sushi outside of the buffet. Variety is really good - we loved the salmon and tuna Philadelphia rolls. For the price, this is a really good option - better than other more expensive options.

I celebrated my birthday last night at the restaurant. The food was good and service was amazing. I know it was kind of hard running back and forth since it was a weekend, but the waitress Lorie and her colleagues where very attentive. Thanks to chef Rio for personally checking on how we like the food from time to time.

The plates were always available and many to choose from and well prepared. Hannaica and Lorie made sure to look after their guests very well. A very nice dinning experience with good quality sushi and very good value for money.
