Really great Italian fare. The food is super good especially their pasta dishes and pizza. You can’t really go wrong with anything. My friends tried the tasting menu and really enjoyed it as well.Their aperol spritz is very very good. You must try it. The decor is very funky and lively. Full of color like an Italian summer. As casual as it may be decorated, they still ask guests to come in dressed smart casual.The place has a terrace which open during less hot months so make sure to pay them a visit then for apertivo after work.

Hit and miss... 🤷‍♂️ don’t visit for your first Bottura experience!Dubai’s hotels probably pay some hefty sums to big name chefs, which doesn’t necessarily mean you get a three star Michelin experience.I can’t say we had a bad time here, but it was a tiny bit confusing for my overall rating... some bits were just excellent, starting from an inviting and original design, all the way to some very nice service elements like staff being not only super helpful explaining portion sizes, but getting lovely plated half portions for things that we ordered to share - that was super inviting and an excellent touch! On the other hand, service was very slow at times and for some things we had to ask three different waiters.As for the food... 50/50. Best burrata that I had in my life, but the amouse bouche and tiramisu were very uninspiring. We enjoyed the pasta but felt half a portion was just enough. The main, wagyu cheek was a delightful piece of meat slapped on a puree on its own - can’t fault the meat, but if it’s all you get on the plate very soon you start missing some balance and add ons. For the love of god I couldn’t eat that meat alone. Cocktails... nothing special frankly.Overall, the place is not too bad for a hotel restaurant but I would not recommend it for a Bottura experience

Is it expensive for casual Italian cuisine? Yes. Is it worth it? YES. The Massimo DNA is certainly evident. The food is reminiscent of what we ate at Franceschetta58 but with menu tweaks that complement the waterside location. Its not an every day option but its perfect for a special occasion.

I finally visited back Torno Subito tonight.We arrived at the restaurant and there was nobody at the entrance once inside someone noticed us and brought us to the table.We managed to get a table outside.Some of the tables were dirty (it looked like the restaurant was not very well taken care of)Service was inattentive and lazy.The food was good.We had few Primi Piatti and they were lacking the creativity from last time that I visited.We had to eat with a child screaming and throwing sand at us.After waving at the waiters, like in a stadium, for 20 min we managed to be noticed and asked the desserts.We order Torta Caprese and Babà (in the menu it’s says is GF). One of us she was celiac.We received Tre Cioccolati instead of Torta Caprese and discovered that Babà was not GF.We were not able to change the wrong dessert because the waiters disappeared in the mist like in an horror movie.We left as we enter, unnoticed.Overall opinion 2/5Location and ambient 4/5Food 3/5Service 2/5Cleanliness 2/5

I dont usually eat Italian food as restaurants tend to serve food that is either pizza, pasta or something smothered in cream or cheese; none of which I can eat or would have any desire to eat. So I was happy to see that there was beef tartare and monkfish, and other interesting dishes on the menu in addition to the usual Italian fare. Although the food was plated in a minimalistic fashion, the produce was of a high calibre and the food pairing was spot on. I loved the tartare and the originality of having goose bacon (rather than a mundane beef bacon) wrapped around the monkfish. The staff were friendly, attentive and even replaced my bread basket with yeast-free bread after I mentioned that I couldnt eat yeast; that was definitely unexpected as many restaurants simply dont care. Whilst I did love the food, I would rate it 4 stars as it was very good, beautifully cooked but I wasnt blown away with excitement. The brilliant service is what has pushed this up to a 5-star rating overall and all thanks to the extra mile by the staff with the bread basket (and plenty of jovial smiles, which make you feel welcome).

Been here twice. At first we are quite disappointed with the food as it is bland and the sea bass was served raw. The server also dropped the wine before it reached the table and some of them splashed on me.Went there the 2nd time for us to see Massimo Botura and if there are changes, it was okay that time but am not satisfied with the food especially some foods that should be served warm was cold when it reached the table after waiting for long time.And I dont think the price is worth the plate as it is expensive and the quality is not that good.Place is nice, i like the design and it is spacious that you can move around.

Don‘t mix this venue with the expectations of the Modena one. It’s a very nice, modern Italien Restaurant with some good influence my Massimo. That’s what you do as famous chef. You earn reputation at home, but you make the cash with lease out your name. And it’s definitively not in a bad way. Fully satisfied and surely tomorrow for lunch again.

Mediocre experience. Was expecting more from the much acclaimed Massimo Botturo since we unable to get a table while in Modena. Only the modena salad was good. The rest were just acceptable. No wow factor. The decor was fun and meticulous.

Beautiful place and such a refreshing atmosphere. Went for a quick late lunch and it was very chilled and relaxed. Needed to try one of my Italian favorites - their variation of the classic Tiramisu which was delicious although slightly different than expected.

Bustling with the atmosphere of Italian coast from the 60s/70s breakthrough, laid on the beach beautifully overlooking Dubais marina, this restaurant is all about passion to great food and service. It is the only restaurant of 3-starred Michelin Chef Massimo Bottura located outside Italy and - which is not that obvious for Dubai and its big names in gastronomy - this is not a franchise, it is directly owned by Bottura. In fact, if you are lucky enough, you might meet him here few times a year, making sure everything works well, as in his flagship establishment in Modena. On daily basis, kitchen here is run by Bernardo Paladini, experienced and enthusiastic Chef, who worked with Bottura in his Osteria Francescana for many years. You will find here modern Italian dishes, as well as classics, some of them coming straight from 3-starred Michelin restaurant menu from Modena. To try the best of it, degustation menu is definitely worth trying. Whether its ragu, shrimp cocktail, wagyu, foccacia or tiramisubito dessert, there is fascinating story behind each dish. Design has its own story, recalling 60s/70s Rimini where Bottura used to spend his vacation as a child. No place is Dubai is better if you love gourmet Italian food with great service, amazing view and Dalida songs in the background.

Torno Subito, renown world Chef Massimo Bottura’s first venture outside Modena was a bit of a mixed feeling. Don’t get me wrong. It is a good Italian restaurant but is in no way a resemblance of the famous Osteria Francescana. May be one would have been satisfied had he not had high expectations because of the name. The food is what you would get in any descent restaurant; nothing outstanding.Decor and ambiance is very casual, more like of a beach restaurant. Service was friendly but not top notch.

One of the greatest spots in Dubai. We tried to book massimo bottura’s restaurant in Modena but it was close to impossible even though we sent request with more than one month advance notice. Here also ensure to make a reservation but it’s much more easier. In general nothing fancy, you don’t have to wear night gown and tie. It’s a family concept rather than fancy elegant dining. We went for chefs menu (100 usd per person). It consists of 5 dishes (2 starters, 2 main and one dessert). You will not overeat because portions are rather small. In the middle of the feast the chef came and explained all the ingredients. I badly wanted to taste 5 ages of Parmesan cheese, it’s an iconic dish of Massimo. But chef explained die to the weather conditions it’s difficult to transport it. Anyways great experience, expensive of course but worth it anyways ! would love to experience it again

Cocktails were amazing, octopus was nice, but that’s all. Pasta was bland. Carpaccio didn’t taste fresh and no flavor at all.Not recommended.

The Atmosphere is very nice. Staff were very professional and very kind. But, when you review a restaurant, you always review the food. The food has this terrible taste in all the dishes we ordered except the bread and olive oil. I tried to find out why but I couldnt. I came with my wife and kids. We always like Italian food. We tried so many italian restaurants around the world but not in Italy. When I asked them why your food taste horrible they said its not traditional Italian food. In my opinion, Always stay traditional with Italian food. Im sorry to give this restaurant 1 star. Food always comes first when you go to a restaurant. Price is responsible, if the food was good, because the atmosphere and location.

If your looking for a horrible experience with a rude waitress and bad food go ahead!! My husband and I are at the W hotel right now for the weekend. Went last night for dinner. The waitress was so rude I was so close to losing it at her. The food came cold and nothing special. Actually didn’t have taste at all. And to top it all off following the dinner when we went back to our room around half an hr later me and my husband started cramping and feeling nauseous. I threw up in the middle of the night. I don’t understand how a restaurant like that is at a 5 star hotel!! Terrible night terrible experience.

A big Grazie to Jacque and Chef Bernardo, and obviously to the whole team for making every single detail,combined with each other by master, significant. And, well, listening to Umberto Tozzi while eating baked potato with scamorza, seafood pasta with your own focaccia, masters olive oil and balsamic vinegar with cherry, observing 60s Polaroid photos are beyond ones expectations. A very charming nostalgic playful Riviera. Ragazzi, siete veramente gente di mare e torniamo subito. Bravi!

As Massimo Bottura first restaurant outside of Italy. It had so much to live up to... and it doesnt unfortunately. firstly the decor is so loud and bright and its impossible to sit inside at night. its supposed to give a fun vibe but its too OTT too loud.Secondly the food. We ordered a range of starters pasta and pizza. We ordered the chefs favourite pizza the Alici which was with zucchini and smoked mozzarella. This was so bad (the cheese cold and rubbery) that we hardly had one piece. The waiters noticed and changed it for a margherita which was much better but by no means outstanding. The pasta is good but not life changing and the tiramisu has so much whipped cream on top it was impossible to find the dessert.Unfortunately I wont be back

This restaurant have what I would call a full experience, its been a year now since our visit me and the wife and we still reminisce about it with enjoyment, the food, the service, and mostly the atmosphere are all unforgettable.Advice: go for lunch and sit outside.

Went for lunch and took the new set lunch deal. The service and food was amazing.The cocktails are awesome and the restaurant is bright and colourful.Dishes were delivered with good explanations and were piping hot, well garnished and seasoned.Well worth a visit.

Every year we go to Italy to visit the country and eat italian. This year was an exception though. This restaurant is one of the best 5 here in Dubai. The pastas were amazing. Aldente! Quality ingredients with intense flavours. But the pizza we didnt adore much, the dough/base, but thats our preference. I would come back to this restaurant to eat pastas. By the way, portions are good.

The decor in the place is stunning, it has an old classy, fun 60s style vibe.  Both day and night view was beautiful.The staff were welcoming, explained the dishes and suggestive. The modern salad was amazing and youll probably never find one like it. The Italian cuisine was very flavor full  and food presentation was beautiful.

First off, this place is no Michelin star restaurant. The service is extremely slow. The food is just above Italian restaurant. Our experience for dinner turned to be quite bad. We got there a few minutes before the reservation, the hostess was rather unpleasant, and was more interested in helping others. We were put in the corner, outside table; and asked politely requested to change of table because of the wind outside. When we walked back in, we asked if we could sit at the empty table next to the window. The lady said she would have to ask the hostess and then we were put in the table next to the bathroom. We remained patient, we ordered the tasting menu plus an expensive glass of wine.Service was incredibly slow, no care for us, never once asked if we were doing ok. The manager did come by and asked how we were doing. Manager seemed pleasant, but rest of the staff not so much.Food is just above average. There was no dish that was outstanding. The wine was really good, but hey, you could get that anywhere.Overall, we were really disappointed by Massimo s Dubais restaurant. It was a huge letdown, and will not dine there again.

We went to have dinner when Massimo was in town. Lovely guy, sociable, came to talk with everyone, selfies too. The staff were great, the views from the outdoor area were spectacular. But the food, the food sadly failed to amaze. Fish was fishy, risotto fatty, Wagyu too rich. We went for the food and were were very disappointed. Dubai is a great city with many great restaurants, this one is not one of them. I wanted to be amazed, but couldnt convince myself! In the end you go to a restaurant for the food, if everything else is right, but the food not, it fails.

The place has a nice vibe to it. Very nice view, food was below average. We ordered stake which was very fatty and over cooked. My mista pasta was fishy and had a bad smell to it. The waitress was so sweet to take it off my bill but even the salad we ordered and the complimentary dessert had a poor taste.

The best pizza gli can have outside Italy, some of the best pasta dishes ever. But not just that, venue is amazing, above all in day time and the vibe joyful and relaxed.

We went for dinner and it was a wonderful experience. Best of all was the service from beginning to end. Service was better then I have had in a long time and everyone was smiling and happy. Food was also good. We had the Margarita pizza which was thin and lighter the and ambiance romantic and relaxed. I would definitely go back and would recommend to try for sure
