The service was good and the food and drinks enjoyable at this casual, California-inspired Mexican restaurant. It is on Palm Jumeirahs West Beach and has views of Marina across the water, with indoor and outdoor seating. My only complaint is that the food was too salty. Of course, thats a common problem when dining out.

The hostess seated us near the bar while waiting for outdoor seating. We kept ourselves busy clicking trying hats and drinks 🍸. The staff obliged us with clicking pics.The staff went an extra mile by customizing the nachoes to our 5yr olds liking plus boy the drinks glass were huge and must try...They should add.more vegan.options on their menu.

New restaurant alert in Dubai! Señor Pico is a newly opened and licensed Mexican restaurant with a lovely setting. The indoor decor of the restaurant is colorful and charming and outdoor dining area offers a great view. Their menu offers a range of dishes along with mocktails, cocktails and other spirits. We absolutely loved the food and the cocktails. The service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere is lively and friendly. We will definitely visit them again.

The concept of the place is followed from A to Z. After visiting Senor Pico in the morning, we really started thinking about traveling to Mexico 🇲🇽. Instead we went for evening for sunset aperitif. F&B serving is authentic and really brings you a feeling you are lost somewhere in Mexico. Highly recommend 👍🏼

I got a chance to visit the latest Mexican place to be at the Palm West Beach. Their food is as authentic as you can get whether it is the name of the dishes or the ingredients all the vibe. Their mock tales and cocktails not only have the most interesting names but also taste amazing. The first bite of the tacos took me back to the authentic Miami Mexican restaurants. My favs were the Beef and Duck Tacos. Their Guac and homemade chips were so authentic. Their mixed bowl was like a deconstructed burrito and so well balanced. This is one of the nicest places I have visited recently and I keep going back. Food is quite good, service as well.. the only downside is that if you choose to sit outdoors they do not have fans.

We visited the place for breakfast as its conveniently located in a beautiful beach strip on the Palm called West Beach. We love Mexican food and the place had great reviews so it seemed like a perfect option for a long weekend breakfast. And we were not disappointed.The menu is truly Mexican with a lot of the ingredients sourced from Mexico and prepared by a Mexican chef (score!). The area itself is lovely and very tranquil with a beautiful view of JBR and Bluewaters.The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and I would like to say special thanks to Monica who took great care of us both in the morning as well as in the evening, as well as her colleagues who were super helpful and attentive (Sanju, Ahmed and Saurav). Thank you so much and we are definitely coming back again.

We love the food and view! Stuff is enjoying what they do! Food serving was very fast and food was delicious. Taco’s , Burrito and Sandwiches as well as Margarita.Kids played on the sands and were happy at all.Sunset was also amazing with this view!Should be the one of best in West Beach and kids friendly!

Palm west beach is a fabulous spot in city and i am so in love with this hotspot.Senor Pico recently opened their doors in west beach and is a place you must visit to enjoy some mexican tapas and drinks.They are serving some amazing cocktails and mocktails here.Being non alcoholics we tried their Frozen Chi chi & Frozen banana chata.Chi chi is a blend of coconut cream & pineapple juice.Banana chata is made of sweetened rice milk,cinnamon and banana flavor.Frozen chi chi was my favorite among mocktails.Moving on to food,we tried the following dishes from their menu:-🌟Nachos - A great starter with home made chips,queso,tomato,onion,sour cream,pico de gallo,guacamole and beef chorizo.I recommend you pair it with their signature cocktails or mocktails🌟Picos Shrimp Ceviche - Ceviche made of chilled and tossed shrimp,cucumber,coriander,tomato,red onion & fresh lime juice is fresh and delish.🌟Shrimp Diablo Taco - Senors signature shrimp taco is topped with coriander,chipotle aioli and Pico slaw and is a must try here.🌟Pico Chicken Bowl - Its a bowl of all great flavors i must say. Excellent little mexican beach bar and restaurant, great staff, and the food is well prepared, with the typical mexican favourites. One thing that makes this mexican bar a little different apart from the view, is that they go the extra mile by making all their tortillas in house.

I was so excited when I read about the opening on timeout. However, the overall experience was quite deceptive. The quality of food and drinks is OK but not outstanding. The walk-in experience and the ordering process is not streamlined. The ambiance and location are great, the music is spicy and fun.Hope they will improve.

I been to this place twice, won’t be a third time.First time was mid day so it was good service and good food. I had the chicken tacos and were solid. I also had the horchata to drink but it needs some fine tuning to be better.Second time was on Feb 27 2021 and the service was really bad. Like so bad I left a written note because of the following:The table wasn’t cleared of the empty plates for nearly 15 min and on top of that no one followed up after they took the plates. It felt as if we weren’t even there.The food is over priced. I tried them twice but I just can’t justify paying their prices for Mexican street food that is decent for dubai.I enjoyed the views and the outdoor seating but there are so many options for that.

Very cute and sweet mexican restaraunt opened very recently on the west beach palm jumeriah. We loved quesedillas with beef and especially kids burrito with chicken. Nachos are ok but not amazing. Shrimp tacos also OK, theybare not very spicy. The view is amazing and its perfect with the kids as they can play around the restaurant and also on the sand. The only thing that we didnt like is that you need to go and order inside everytime you want something. But the staff was kind enough to take our orders since it was not crowded when we were there.

Terrible. If you’re looking for overpriced, tasteless food and bad service, this is your place. Ambience is also bad compared to alternative options in West Beach. Definitely not coming back here.

GREAT VENUE, TASTY FOOD, AMAZING VIEWS OF THE PALM & MARINA!We visited Senor Pico in February and the weather was beautiful so we decided to sit outside. The whole restaurant is open and located on the beach so it has a really nice beachy feel.We were warmly greeted and seated at our table straight away. The menu is a selection of traditional Mexican dishes (tacos, nachos, enchiladas etc) and there is a full alcoholic bar available. We both went with the chicken tacos and they were absolutely delicious, one portion contains 3 tacos which made them very filling.We were served by Netto who was extremely helpful and assisted us thoroughly (without us asking) throughout our entire stay.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Senor Pico and would visit again soon!Instagram: @journeywithuss

Tried the place yesterday and got shocked how someone as the restaurant manager called Monica can be so unprofessional! Absolutely unacceptable attitude, perhaps the lady has no clue what a customer care means. While having tables available, we were refused to get a table with the view just after 2 minutes it got available. She was so rude and sharp to cut us with I will not give it to you, there is someone else is coming! guess what, nobody came at all! The waitress offered us to move if we still wanted and apologies on behalf of the manager.Food wasnt great either, absolutely tasteless... Thats why the place is quite empty compared to the other. Do not recommend at all.

Great view of the beach at night and food is also great! But the places around it have music and more atmosphere. I like to go there first as it closes earlier than the places around it. Then mive on to orange chameleon and kok which are open later and have more of a vibe. Also live that it is dog friendly!!!

The recently opened joint on West Beach was one of the most occupied joints along this stretch. I loved their horchata and the splendid views across the harbour

I went today for the first time and was shocked.The place has a great view but unfortunately the food was below average. Waited a long time for the food to arrive even for the Nachos which took 45 minutes after ordering. We also received our beers warm instead of chilled. Food was nothing special at all and lacking flavor. We left 20 minutes after receiving our food. I would not recommend it at all.

I’ve tried calling them to book for a company event. The hostesses were very unwelcoming stating they do not take reservations anymore. I understand if they were fully booked but just don’t be rude. I’m not calling to beg you for money... I’m calling to come to spend money!!! I eventually requested to talk to the manager and shockingly he’s refused to take the call! I’ve have given them the benefit of the doubt and called two more times but the hostesses said “you are welcome to come and talk to the manager but I cannot promise he would be in the restaurant”!! Excuse me? Obviously Mr. Manuel is very busy to talk to customers. But if he’s busy to talk to customers then what else does he do?? This is by far the worst customer service experience we ever encountered in Dubai.

The ambience was amazing, you see the water running just few meters away. Nachos are amazing as well as as the drinks. Great ace to crash in.

The food was really good and the portion sizes were just right. My favorite food was the barbacoa taco and you have to try the churro bites for dessert! Its right on the beach so there is an amazing view of the sunset.

I don’t like giving a 5 star rating based on a one time visit, it this place is really really good. Good drinks, good food, friendly attentive staff and amazing views.I hope that this place doesn’t compromise on food or service over time (like many places in Dubai do), but the owner seems to be on top of things and that is good.If there is no space outside, sit inside and wait for a place I outside to be vacated while you look at the menu and order.

Was almost perfect till an 100kg umbrella hit me from the back during my terrace lunch... Impact was so brutal, that a general clamor has risen up form the whole restaurant!Thanks god, it didnt hit 20 cm higher... I am a solid guy enough to absorb that...well, lets see...What if it was my wife, a kid ??I am absolutely shocked by the staff/managers attitude to not even asking about my condition,then had to query ice to release the pain myself...They had no problem presenting me with the bill though. No shame...Thats said, safety issues, no care .....enough places in dubai to never ever return in Senor Pico restaurant, Dubai .

Pleasantly surprised that they did breakfast here. Original idea was to go to Jones The Grocer but they had like a 40 minutes wait, so we wandered over to Senor Pico to see what it was all about and it was delishhhhh. Highly recommend!!

Disastrous service level... We waited for our food which is simply Nachos and Tacos. They delivered Tacos in an hour and half. We asked for the manager three times and no one showed up then a gentleman comes up to tell us we believe in second chances.. Is this a joke? We were kind enough to pay for what we had in full and no one offered us even to waive the amount or discount it. Pathetic service...

We visited Senor Pico for a celebration last week and we had a great time. The service was great, the food was delicious (recommend the quesadillas & nachos), and the location / view were amazing. We sat outside and had a fantastic view of JBR, Blue Waters, etc... You can park easily underground at West Palm Beach.The only complaint I had is that they have yet to start a happy hour but expected soon.

If youre looking for a casual, reasonably priced, authentic Mexican restaurant with Mexican chef and management, this is the place. Food quality is very good, for being in Dubai, with very fresh ingredients, all made at the restaurant. It was like Mexican street food but cleaner and healthier. Meaning no Manteca Im afraid.Chips werent too salty which I appreciated, guac was especially good, tacos were on par with El Mostacho, fairly authentic street tacos. Portions are smallish but when you include the beachside view of the Marina, the ambience and the very friendly and attentive staff, its a minor thing.
