Purani Dilli truly preserves our Indian Culture | @puranidilliszrThis place severs some authentic Dilli Wala Khana which of course has Mughlai Flavors...Nailing Mughlai flavors is not easy and there are only handful or restaurants who are successful in doing this. Best part about Mughlai food is that it is made with distinct spices. Only a few chefs know the perfect mix of all the spices and we ensure you @puranidilliszr s a hidden gem but this one’s not a hidden gem it is pretty much a Gem known by everyone...The ambience here is very beautifully done as it reflects old palace like feel. We were thrilled to see the amazing service as well. Mona, Tarun, Abhijith, Ajeet were outstanding hosts. No wonder why @puranidilliszr has made it to top 10 Indian restaurants in Dubai...Let’s talk about the food.We ordered:Starters:Veg Kebab Platter: Which had Dahi ke Kebab, Paneer Tikka, Veg Seekh Kebab and Veg Galouti Kebab.Drinks:Lemon Mint and ChassMain Course:Lehsuni Palak, Soya Chaap Gravy and Lassoni Dal TadkaAlong with Bread Basket (Bhatti Ki Tokri) and Zeera Chawal.Wait-wait its not over yet, we also had Desserts:Desserts:Ras Malai and Chukandar Ka Halwa (Beet Root ka halwa)...Chef Shalin ensured that we are fully content with the meal and walk out happily.Everything was so very delicious and perfect but of course we have our picks from this menu.We would suggest you to definitely try Veg Kebab Platter (because it has all the kebabs ), from the mains we would suggest you to try Lehsuni Palak as it is really very tasty and Dak Tadka is best to none. Also, the desserts served here are fantastic can’t pick between the two because Ras Malai served here is so very authentic while Beetroot halwa is something that we had it only for the first time and we loved it...We would highly recommend you this place if you are into north Indian Mughlai food, for Delhihites this will probably be very nostalgic but other would definitely love it.#igtv #igtvchannel #igtvuser #igtvcreator #igtvofinstagram #igtvvideos #dubaifood #bestigtv #igtvpeople #igtvcommunity #instaigtv #dubai #igtvfilms #igtvbest #piraniidilli #igtvworld #igtvfollow #followmyigtv #igtvcontent #igtvgoodquality #thevegetariancouple #iftari #ramadan2021

Im actually quite furious to describe this pathetic place!! Lets start with the staff welcoming the diners, oh wait!! There was nobody in the restaurant when we walked in. So, we found ourselves the table and sat down to check out the digital menu via the QR code, thanks to the ever present pain in the a$$ Covid!! Soon we found out they had very few items on their food menu and a very extensive range under beverages. Alrighty!! This place is a bar, not a proper restaurant as it touts itself to be. Fair enough! Everything in the food menu is pricey almost 2 times more when compared to Gazebo. Finally! the waitress Mona, walks in and murmurs something through her mask. We proceeded to order the most expensive of what they had, mutton biriyani, kebab platter and grilled prawns. These are mentioned under the traditional names in the menu such as Gosht (lamb/mutton) biriyani, etc. Took about 20 minutes to arrive while we were forced to listen to quite a loud collection of ghazal music. The food arrived and we were laughing inside our head about the small portions of this meal. The biriyani which was the most expensive was the worst! It was dry and tasted nothing like a typical biriyani. The mutton was dry as well. Moving on... kebab platter, under cooked malai chicken kebab, burnt tandoori kebab and the prawns were smelling funny!! Clearly!! Very clearly!!! This place is for people who drink and dont know how to differentiate between food and piece of wood!! The chefs passion for cooking food was vivid in the most underwhelming meal Ive ever eaten. Even someone who has never cooked would have done a better job with some help from youtube cooking videos. To top off this tongue numbing experience, we were never offered water or any assistance in serving the food at all!! The waitress was busy staring at her phone throughout this ensemble! So... if you are still reading this, dont waste your time and money. Cheers!!

Purani Dilli- where nostalgia is served on a platter.Being is Delhlite, the name “PURANI DILLI” in itself is nostalgic for us. The very well defined it in few words as, “Where stories of fine taste and the fabled, buzzing by-lanes are relished together. Where nostalgia is served on a platter, entertained by the culture and charm of the most iconic historic capital of the world.”Purani Dilli, with its two branches, had already made its name in the top list of best Indian restaurants in UAE. It offers the authentic flavours of Mughlai food & also the street food of Dilli. Borrowing its inspiration from the legendary Mughal kitchens, every dish uses distinct home-made spices, which create a symphony of rich, inimitable dishes for guests to enjoy. With such instagrammable interiors, this place will surely fascinate you to get atleast one click of every wall, every corner. The interiors of the restaurant gives a feel of walking through the streets of old Delhi with the wall murals & the antique mirrors all over the place. I personally loved the way they have decorated their gallery. The staff is really very helpful. We were invited by the Head Chef Mohammed Afroz, who not only helped us through the menu but also make sure we enjoyed our lunch.Coming back to food, as we went there on the occasion of Diwali, they served us Diwali Special set menu in both Vegetarian as well as Non-vegetarian categories. We started with the famous starters of Dilli- Chandni Chowk ke Tikki... it took me back to Chandni chowk 😍- Paneer surk Tikka... was really delicious- Haldi Mirch Murg Tikka... perfectly spiced & flavorful- Tawa Machchi.. cooked to perfection. From the main Course, they served us- Murg Handi- Mutton Korma- Subz Deewani Handi- Daal Panchmeal- Lehsuni Palak- Mutton Biryani- Vegetable Biryani- Salad- Raita- Platter of mixed Indian breadsLoved them all ... everything was cooked with perfection & served with love. Definitely a highly recommendable place. There was also a section of Desi Indian mithai with Barfi, Gujia & Halwa ... seriously, nothing can beat the flavors of these Desi desserts. Loved them all.We also had the refreshing lemon Mint mojito ... a perfect drink for anyone. To sum it all, Purani Dilli is one of the best place to have the Desi food. A highly recommendable place. We are really thankful to the whole team of Purani Dilli for hosting us & would like to mention their names too. Visited this restaurant at Four Point Shereton at SZR. Lovely decor and view(although indoors). Food is nice but super spicy and rich in oil. Chef needs to tone it down a bit. Their mixed grill veg/non veg platters are nice.

Purani dilli is a fancy modern Indian restaurant at @fourpointsdubai. The ambiance is lively & modern. The colorful walls and the art work on them are quite captivating and interesting as they exhibit Indian culture & Mughal era. The place itself & the light background music gives a very traditional vibe.I tried some of their famous dishes such as 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐊𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐛, 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐚, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐳𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐡 & 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢. All the items were made to perfection but I enjoyed Changhezi Murgh the most. However, my personal favourite item was what I tried at the end for the dessert ;) - 𝐑𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐢 I cant wait to go and have it again, it was awesome.Do check out this place if you are a fan of Indian Food & looking for a traditional place to celebrate a special occasion.

We visited the restaurant with our family and chose this gem of a restaurant !actually this is the second by the same name i have been to the one in mankhool and this time it was here at four points sheraton on sheikh zated roadThey have a lot of options to choose from but here is the deal whatever you choose for sure they customise according to your tastes so felt free to explain as my kids are really demanding sometimes. We were welcomed and greeted by Anum..and chose the best with a view of sheikh zayed road.chef Rajesh guided us well through the menu !!For starters we ordered hing mattar tikki, chandni chowk tikki and khubani stuffed paneer which was awesome gotta try this again..Rahul must be awarded for his hospitality..i had no clue how many times my kids asked him out sometimes for washroom sometimes for snacks..and he was always smiling to help.Next for mains was lehsuni palak , bhindi do pyaza and nawabi baingan bharta and lahori paneer with bread basket i.e batti ki tokri which includes 5 types of naan.My favourite was bhindi. For desserts we ordered kulfi falooda. We had no space in our belly but surely the indian hospitality keeps asking for more..thank you shaan for serving us the quickest.ALL the best to the team .will surely pass by soon for exploring more recipies.
